They recently followed all the cream top hype, serving their own version of Salted Caramel Sweet Cream Cold Brew. Ok so in order to get to the cafe, Yoh should know that it's at a parking g lot building. See video. Best is if you can park out side in the street and walk in so you don't have to pay for parking. So today, I went there because I needed a little pick me up. I didn't write a review last time so today I went and I was a little bit disappointed. So I hope it's just a one time incident. The pistachio croissant was very soggy. And way too sweet for some reason. The pistachio latte I got, it was just OK as well. The staff were busy, the front cashier didn't seem to friend me when I told her I was there to pick up my order. I ordered ahead on Yelp. It has a nice indoor outdoor space. in dire need of coffee and saw these reviews. It's easy to find, but hard to park. There's only 20 minute parking on the street, but it's a pretty popular place so you'll need to get lucky, continue driving around until some one leaves or try another day (we did see the parking meter person chalk tires). The place is cute and decently sized for those who may want to enjoy the weather or work a little. The people are friendly and helpful. I came here for a quick 1 hour lunchtime stop as I had a meeting in the area afterward. Parking is challenging; there is a paid parking structure next door though there is 30 minute validation, I wanted to stay longer and didn't want to pay for parking. You can attempt (as I did) to drive down the main winding road and pray for an available free street parking spot which I was fortunate enough to find ~2.5 blocks down! Service is very polite, friendly, and quick and alternative milks are available at no extra cost! Though it does not look like it, they do have a bathroom you are able to use here as well. Matcha latte (w/ almond milk, unsweetened) 3.5/5, this is made using ceremonial matcha and is unsweetened unless you request a sweetener (I recommend agave). My issue was not that this had the traditional slight bitterness of matcha, but rather that the ratio of matcha : milk was off so I tasted far more almond milk compared to matcha. read more

Went for a walk and stumbled upon this cafe. It's located inside of what I think is a business complex, I imagine parking isn't easy or free but since we walked we found it easily. I tried the cookie butter latte which was yummy but a little too sweetened for me. However I think they got the flavor down really well and it was a good flavored latte. My boyfriend got the tiramisu latte which he finished in less than five minutes, so think he was also a fan. He also felt it was a little too sweetened for his liking but the flavor itself was great. I want to give 4.4 stars... I used a 10-minute parking space nearby, but later found out that you can park in the adjoining parking structure, validated for 30 minutes. It's essentially an outdoor space, though it is roofed from direct sun and rain. The menu offers classic coffee options and some interesting specialties like the Cookie Butter Latte, Honey Lavender Latte, and Vietnamese Cold Brew. I had a latte, which was the best one I've experienced in Los Angeles so far. It didn't need latte art, just the right temperature, great extraction, and the correct texture of stretched milk versus foamy cappuccino-style milk (that many other cafes have produced so far). Service was excellent, and both staff were friendly, confident, and competent baristas. They had food and other beverages, but my main quest was to find great barista coffee near LAX. This is one of the two out of 30 that I can recommend so far. read more

Spacious parking lot but only 30 minutes are validated, so I just sit for a quick coffee and head out. There's indoor seating as in there's a roof that'll block rain, but the walls have slits so it's pretty cold when windy. It seems like they prepare medium roast coffee, so it matched my preferences of light to medium (dark roast is just too bitter for me for now). Menu-wise, you have a choice of your classics and then some sweeter varieties like Cookie Butter Latte if you're a latte enthusiast who isn't big on straight black coffee. Really cute and creative coffee shop concept. It's all outdoors in a little spot underneath the parking garage area. I live nearby and walk to this location. It seems like most customers worked in the office buildings above. You can order ahead on their website which is what I did and then they'll set it on a table for you to easily pick up. They have a lot of different drink options on the menu. I got the honey lavender latte which was really good but tasted a little on the watery side. This place is more like 3.5 stars, but bumping up to 4 because NO surcharge on alternative milk (!!!) and reasonable prices. Food: I can only speak for their drinks, though they have a selection of baked goods and breakfast burritos, including a soyrizo one. -Latte with almond milk: Fantastic. I'm no coffee expert but I've definitely had my fair share of lattes to now know my preferences. Their espresso is great and strong enough where it doesn't just taste predominantly like milk but not too strong where it leaves a bitter taste. So good. -Cortado with almond milk: Delicious. Same notes as above. -Cappuccino with almond milk: Amazing -Matcha latte with almond milk: Yet another cafe who falls short on their matcha :( Definitely their weakest point. The matcha was chalky and just not good. Either it wasn't prepared properly or the matcha they're using is not good quality. I really really did not like this. Service: Friendly and fast Ambiance: It's inside of a industrial type (?) building with doors wide open to the outside at all times, so it gets pretty chilly in there. I would suggest bringing layers, especially if you're sensitive to the cold like I am. There's plenty of table seating both inside and outside, as well as some comfy sofa-type chairs. They play pop music at quite a moderately loud volume, so I would suggest bringing earphones if you're trying to focus and get some work done. Just as a side note-- the weirdest part here is that they don't have a restroom, but the employees told me to use the restroom in the restaurant next door; it made me feel kind of bad walking in just to use the restroom? Maybe they have an agreement with the restaurant; I'm not sure. Also I believe they are dog friendly, which is nice!! All in all, fabulous coffee but avoid the matcha latte at all costs. read more

A little annoyed because I came here to work and also had to walk a little bit after finally finding street parking on a Tuesday at noon. Had I known it was next to an LMU campus AND a bunch of tech campuses and a Wework, I would probably not have come here--reminds me of a time when I was required to be at the office. In fact, I at one time did have to come here for work. Not only is it smackdab in the middle of all of these campuses, it is also a stand right outside of the parking garage. It's open air, so dress accordingly. I got a toffee nut latte with 1 pump of syrup and it was just okay. Savory pastries were sold out by the time I got there (probably because of all of the employees who were forced to return to office). I don't think it's worth the hassle of parking and mid drinks. Also there's no bathroom, you'd have to use the Tocaya one. Again, very meant for people who work in the offices here. I'm here for it being Black-owned because get yours, but do know that the menu is catered toward their main clientele, which is basically the Madewell fall catalog. read more

This gem is located on the ground floor of an office complex in Marina Del Rey. You have to park in garage, but they will validate for 30 minutes. I ordered a Golden milk latte with cofounder milk and Butterly lavender milk latte with Almond milk. The Golden Milk Latte has Turmeric and is a beautiful Golden color. The Butterfly Lavender comes out a rich blue and is more of a decaf blend. Both were really good. The service here is excellent. The Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable on explaining the options of brew available. They also sell coffee by the bag that is named after black films. A comfortable seating area is available if you would like to sit and enjoy you coffee along with the laterite's that they offer as well. read more

Located near homey buildings, Parking garage is right next to it (and they charge $2 every 15 mins ip to $20 max); and as you walk, relaxing vibes hit you! I tried the lavender latte and I absolutely loved it, it's a bit on the sweeter side but perfect for a pick me up on a Sunday! I also tried their oatmeal cookie with chai flavored icing; it was so good! It's like an oatmeal cookie dipped in a chai latte- what is there not to love?! Came here on a whim and this coffee shop is centered near a bunch of businesses in Playa Vista. I had trouble finding the coffee shop since it was covered by huge wooden panels but it's technically located outdoors. I went for a toffee nut latte and it was a little sweet for my liking but the coffee itself was good and they had a bunch of pastries including vegan ones! Honestly I'm so glad that I found this place. Cafe Ruisseau has won me over with their delicious coffee. So far every drink that I've tried has been delicious. I also appreciate that they don't charge extra for milk alternatives. While seating is limited, it's a very cute place to sit down and sip on your coffee. They have a larger table where you can sit down and work or study. Parking is a bit of a pain here. They validate garage parking for 30 minutes, so make sure you ask for validation! The parking rates in the garage are pretty expensive. My only negative is the service. The last time I came the barista who took my order was very short with me and had a bit of an attitude. When I asked her for parking validation she didn't want to give it to me and practically rolled her eyes at me. That definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

A lovely small coffee shop on the first floor of the business center in Playa Vista! I parked in the parking structure behind the coffee shop and walked in and was greeted so happily by the staff. The first time I went, the barista recommended the seasonal pumpkin chai drink with a shot of espresso. I happily got the beverage iced and with oat milk (which they do not charge extra for!!). The second time I went recently I was feeling an iced matcha drink and they made an iced vanilla matcha latte. I loved that the staff was so helpful in giving recommendations and ideas to make sure you're happy with your beverage. If you sign up for their rewards with your phone number you'll receive coupons for a free beverage on your birthday and other discounts on your beverages! Would definitely recommend! :) The only drawback is that they only validate parking for 30 minutes, so it's not a sit down and study kind of coffee place.
