    Decors (Dec 2025)

Cafe Ruisseau is a Black owned specialty coffee shop that was first opened in 2017. Currently the coffee shop has 4 locations - Beverly Hills, Glendale, Playa Vista (flagship shop), and Santa Monica (as of Dec 2025). [Parking]: Free 30-minute parking validation for the parking structure adjacent to it (insert parking validation ticket first then follow by the parking ticket - if the gate still doesn't open then push the button at the parking exit for security guard's assistance). Please enter the parking structure via Waterfront Dr and NOT the separate parking structure via S Campus Center Dr as the coffee shop will only validate the one via Waterfront Dr. [Atmosphere]: Open air table setup with cute decors. Restroom access is through Tocaya Modern Mexican next door. [Menu]: The staff didn't offer any suggestions on the most popular drinks, but Honey Lavender Latte was mentioned. Toffee Nut Latte is one of Yelp's top highlights, but apparently the drink is not listed on the menu and is one of those 'secret' menu drinks upon requests. *** Toffee Nut Latte (hot latte $6.25 for 12 oz + Toffee Nut for an extra $0.75): Toffee nut flavor was not listed on the menu, but the staff said it was still available to order. The drink had a smooth aftertaste and toffee nut flavor wasn't overly sweet. Honey Lavender Latte (hot $7.00 for 12 oz): The drink had more honey aftertaste than lavender which I actually like the ratio. Another good latte. *** A lovely and dog-friendly specialty coffee shop that's mostly cater to office workers in the surrounding blocks with really good lattes.

Ok so in order to get to the cafe, Yoh should know that it's at a parking g lot building. See video. Best is if you can park out side in the street and walk in so you don't have to pay for parking. So today, I went there because I needed a little pick me up. I didn't write a review last time so today I went and I was a little bit disappointed. So I hope it's just a one time incident. The pistachio croissant was very soggy. And way too sweet for some reason. The pistachio latte I got, it was just OK as well. The staff were busy, the front cashier didn't seem to friend me when I told her I was there to pick up my order. I ordered ahead on Yelp. It has a nice indoor outdoor space. Good for meeting people and friends for a quick coffee date.

in dire need of coffee and saw these reviews. It's easy to find, but hard to park. There's only 20 minute parking on the street, but it's a pretty popular place so you'll need to get lucky, continue driving around until some one leaves or try another day (we did see the parking meter person chalk tires). The place is cute and decently sized for those who may want to enjoy the weather or work a little. The people are friendly and helpful. The drinks are ok, creative, though I wish the drinks were more robust in flavor. Always like trying new coffee spots when we travel.

Cute coffee spot in Playa Vista. Tons of seating with a decent menu. Coffee was fine, nothing special but very relaxing spot with plenty of seating. A bit difficult to find parking but plenty of street parking if you don't mind walking a bit.

I came here for a quick 1 hour lunchtime stop as I had a meeting in the area afterward. Parking is challenging; there is a paid parking structure next door though there is 30 minute validation, I wanted to stay longer and didn't want to pay for parking. You can attempt (as I did) to drive down the main winding road and pray for an available free street parking spot which I was fortunate enough to find ~2.5 blocks down! Service is very polite, friendly, and quick and alternative milks are available at no extra cost! Though it does not look like it, they do have a bathroom you are able to use here as well. Matcha latte (w/ almond milk, unsweetened) 3.5/5, this is made using ceremonial matcha and is unsweetened unless you request a sweetener (I recommend agave). My issue was not that this had the traditional slight bitterness of matcha, but rather that the ratio of matcha : milk was off so I tasted far more almond milk compared to matcha.

Tiramisu latte and cookie butter latte

Went for a walk and stumbled upon this cafe. It's located inside of what I think is a business complex, I imagine parking isn't easy or free but since we walked we found it easily. I tried the cookie butter latte which was yummy but a little too sweetened for me. However I think they got the flavor down really well and it was a good flavored latte. My boyfriend got the tiramisu latte which he finished in less than five minutes, so think he was also a fan. He also felt it was a little too sweetened for his liking but the flavor itself was great. It's a tiny little coffee shack but had quite a few people's in our 15 minutes we were there. Very kind workers as well.

Found this place while driving down the 405 Thankfully I was still serviced despite getting there just a few minutes before closing (thanks so much!!) Had their tiramisu latte and it was delicious. Ordered it easy on the sweet. Didn't think it taste much like tiramisu but it was very good despite this. If you like sweet drinks this your go to.

I want to give 4.4 stars... I used a 10-minute parking space nearby, but later found out that you can park in the adjoining parking structure, validated for 30 minutes. It's essentially an outdoor space, though it is roofed from direct sun and rain. The menu offers classic coffee options and some interesting specialties like the Cookie Butter Latte, Honey Lavender Latte, and Vietnamese Cold Brew. I had a latte, which was the best one I've experienced in Los Angeles so far. It didn't need latte art, just the right temperature, great extraction, and the correct texture of stretched milk versus foamy cappuccino-style milk (that many other cafes have produced so far). Service was excellent, and both staff were friendly, confident, and competent baristas. They had food and other beverages, but my main quest was to find great barista coffee near LAX. This is one of the two out of 30 that I can recommend so far.

Really cute and creative coffee shop concept. It's all outdoors in a little spot underneath the parking garage area. I live nearby and walk to this location. It seems like most customers worked in the office buildings above. You can order ahead on their website which is what I did and then they'll set it on a table for you to easily pick up. They have a lot of different drink options on the menu. I got the honey lavender latte which was really good but tasted a little on the watery side. I'll be back soon to try something else and to support their small business.

The lemon loaf slice is huge, I'd say it's the equivalent of two slices, so it's definitely big enough to share. As for the cookies, Levain is known for making them thick and rich. A small piece goes a long way, making them perfect for savoring over a couple of days (if you have that much self-control!). The moment you walk inside, you're greeted by the incredible aroma of freshly baked pastries, and the service was warm and welcoming. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the food was delicious. Employees like Theron are a huge part of what makes customers want to return. Bottega Louie is lucky to have him on their team. He truly deserves a raise, for the level of service he provides. Thank you for making our first visit so special. We will definitely be coming back!

came for brunch on a saturday w/ a reservation and was seated right away…read more our server was great, super kind and helpful. he gave us a fresh piece of bread that was still warm and butter which was a nice surprise! the le pancake is a super fluffy souffle pancake w/ a sweet strawberry syrup and a chantilly cream that was light and fluffy. the croque madame was a delicious savory brunch item. the room was on the dimmer side and i think could have used a little bit more lighting. the interior decor feels elevated yet simple and the desserts are a beautiful display. i came wanting to try the desserts but decided not to b/c of how expensive it is. until someone tells me its the best thing they've had, i'll hold off on boutega louie desserts for now
