I really appreciate it, I know most places don't add tomatoes to the fried rice but I love it. The serving was huge. I have enough left over for lunch and dinner tomorrow. My father-in-law got the chicken teriyaki and it looked beautiful. He said he hasn't had this dish in decades and loved it. The broccoli looked beautiful and green, not overcooked at all. His dish was also big enough that he has leftovers for tomorrow. My husband got the Beef Chao Fan. He was craving this when we were in NYC and it wasn't on the menu where he went, so he was so glad they have it on the menu. He loved it. He said the flavor was amazing. He also had enough to bring home for dinner tonight. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach. We will be back!

If this restaurant serves a different regional style of chow mein, that should be clearly explained on the menu so customers know what they're ordering. When you order chow mein, you expect actual chow mein noodles--not vegetables with a side of rice and a bag of crunchy noodles. Unfortunately, this wasn't what I ordered or expected, and I wouldn't order it again.

It makes ordering easy, and everything on it is executed really well. They have, in my opinion, the best dumplings in Denver. The bottoms are perfectly crispy, the filling is rich and savory, and every bite is so satisfying. Their house soy sauce with vinegar is also excellent and complements the dumplings perfectly. The Shanghainese spring rolls are another standout and honestly one of my favorite bites I've had anywhere. We also almost always order the street noodles, which are packed with flavor. It's a great spot for both dining in and takeout, and the food travels really well. I find myself craving it all the time. Easily a 100000/10!!! Oh and the staff is always so kind and helpful.

USED TO BE a good place to eat. Very disappointed in the service and food. The server was quite cold and not personable in any way shape or form and ALL dishes had the same flavor. Each separate dish came out at different time intervals and there was HAIR IN FOOD. We told the waiter and he disagreed saying there was no hair but when he does see it, he whisks the plate off to the kitchen with the quickness. Communication was horrible! At the end of our visit and time to pay. The waiter asks if everything was ok and I was like, no. He takes my money and goes to kitchen to call a female out after taking like 5 minutes. He, another gentleman and a woman come to front and the female asks if there was a problem. She was the hostess. I told her that the service and food were bad and she said sorry. I wanted to talk to the person in charge and she said the owner would not be in for 2hrs.-I left my name and number for the owner to contact me and I never received a phone call. We had to pay for our food just to box up and take home to throw away! It WAS that disgusting!!! What a shame and such a disappointment of what used to be a highly recommended chinese restaurant. The new owners have did an injustice to the name and what past hard work, humbleness and quality should be and was. I would not recommend this restaurant to any one!!1 read more

I eat here about once a week.....but not anymore!!! I order the same thing every time (NEVER DOES MY ORDER CHANGE) 2 times within a week they deliver the wrong item. The first time they offered to give me free egg rolls on my next order. So next time i order they forgot my egg roll, not a huge deal. Last night i got the SAME ORDER and once again they deliver the WRONG item. They gentleman on the phone was extremely rude saying i order the wrong item! NO, if he would slow down and LISTEN not rush me off the phone he could understand what i was saying. Again, i do not order anything complicated, its super simple. Then when i asked for them to deliver the correct item, it was like i was asking for a lot! The chicken was dry and disgusting which i have NEVER had it like that until last night. I think the gentleman was rude and should not be on the phone if you cant understand English. I will never eat here ever again. its just to bad because its actually decent food, but the people are a terribly rude!!!!!!! read more

Denver is sorely lacking in Chinese Buffets. While I love authentic Chinese food such as Dim Sum and other offerings that one might find at Empress, sometimes I just want some of the Ameri-Chino options I grew up eating. At a fair price and with easy access, one can enjoy everything on the buffet, which includes staples like beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken.. Awful. Ordered the chicken cashew and it was grizzly and had a distasteful after taste. When i returned it i was told that nobody else had complained and said it was because he was Chinese. Not true i said, everybody has an off night on occasion and told him he would do well to imitate the Nordstrom model. This might explain why the dining room is near empty after 7:00 p.m. Unfortunate. I have gone to this restaurant for almost 23 years, I have seen it transform to a plain restaurant to a very elegant place. The same owners are still there and they are great and remember your name and family's names. They serve shark fin soup. Shark finning is one of the if not the worst and most cruel fishing practice! They chop the shark's fins off and throw them overboard for them to bleed out and suffocate just for some soup. Don't eat here until they take this off of their menu. read more
