Enoki fritters were also tasty -- the right amount of crunch without feeling too oily / deep-fried, and the sauce was good. Will say though, the drinks sucked. Came here with a few friends and my husband to watch the first half of the Super Bowl. The space is definitely on the smaller side, but the details more than make up for it. The tables at the back are tiny, so if you're a big back eater like me, be prepared for limited space. The food really surprised me. I loved the fusion flavors and could tell the cooks/owners put a lot of effort into it. I even had to stand up because I ate too much, which gave me a good look at the mini bar. There was one very annoying drunk guy who started humping the fridge but he and his friends were promptly dismissed. The female owner is super friendly and spicy, so definitely don't get on her bad side! I love her energy; she has every right to protect her business and her customers. Nonetheless, she was very attentive and provided amazing customer service. On the positive note, the bar is dog-friendly! If I remember correctly, one day a week your fur babies even get a free meal. Probably one of the best customer service and most friendly experiences I've ever had. This is a small place with great food. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to you. I was unsure about what to order so the lady at the register helped me and her recommendation was perfect! I had the bibimbap with grilled chicken and it was delicious and a good portion too. Wow! I can't say enough about this little bar that is open late! We are always looking for a new spot to try while in Seattle on the boat and came across this gem. First day we popped in for just cocktails around lunch time. Garage door was open to let the fresh air and sun it which was nice for March. Yummy drinks and while we were there we drooled over the dishes that the other guests were having. After our Sunday Mariners game we came for late night food and oh my god it was good! Overall this spot is nice! Kind of tucked away and hidden. The service was really nice and friendly slu and walked though the whole menu with us and what they thought was good. We picked the mussels from their thoughts and it was by far the best dish we thought. It had a lot of garlic and maybe too much in my opinion but I didn't mind too much. The bread and sauce were good. Everything' else was just alright. The enoki fritters were good, a lighter fried thing which I liked. The fries I didn't really care for, I wish there was more veggies on it and we all agreed the wings were a bit too wet and didn't have much crisp on them-- so not bad but not great wings. Honestly my go to place on a weekend for date night or to watch the game. The selection of food is diverse. Primarily inspired by Asian cuisine this bar serves some of the best tapas I have had in the city. I recommend getting the pork belly plate as it is enough to feed 2-3 people. If you want a quick bite while watching the Seahawks, try the street fries or the wings. For a nice flavorful dinner plate, try the ribs, you won't regret it. As far as drinks, I suggest the soju melona! Staff is very friendly, it gives neighborhood bar vibes with an upscale palette. I visited this restaurant recently, and while the food was fine, the service was lacking. The table we were seated at was sticky and dirty, and overall, the experience wasn't great. After leaving a review on Google, the owner responded rudely and dishonestly, falsely claiming that we sat ourselves instead of waiting to be seated. This was not true--we followed the proper process and waited to be seated. Instead of addressing the concerns professionally, they dismissed my feedback and ended their response with, "Glad you won't be coming back." I'm sharing this here because people should be aware of how this restaurant treats customer feedback. I'm writing in response to "Wallingford L"'s review posted on Jan 25 2026. I was here and witnessed this interaction- first off, the waiter never told the girls to leave the table or tried to push them out, and second off the girls were not "extremely nice" when talking to the owner and actually were extremely rude and inconsiderate of a small business. Also, if these girls worked in the industry, they should understand that spending $60 total for two people, while taking up a four person table over the course of a big sporting event, isn't a lot, especially in this area in Seattle. On top of that, $8 beers and $17 cocktails are actually pretty standard drink prices for this area of Seattle. The food at Minibar is amazing, and portions are some of the most reasonable in Seattle. This entire post by them is pretty unfair and one sided from some petty Karens (who even had to call out that they were not being Karens) trying to tarnish a small business. Also another shoutout to Minibar since they are super dog friendly! They even give your dog a pup bowl so that they can eat with you! read more

This place is such a hidden gem!!! Every single bite of food absolutely HIT. We couldn't stop eating it. A little pricey, but the vibes are good, the staff is nice, and the servings are large. This place is awesome!!! I was exploring the Fremont area and stopped in for a drink. It's not a fancy place but is filled with charm and has a great view. The kitchen is open and I was mesmerized watching Jane cook. I had already eaten but man did I have food envy! Each plate looked amazing and every diner looked very happy with their food. Hospitality was 10/10. Jane noticed I was watching her and came over to say hi and chat for a bit. Been dying to try this place and finally got the chance! Husband and I went this evening (Saturday) right when they opened at 5:30 pm. The food was really delicious - huge portions, so keep that in mind as you order. Great for sharing. We over ordered since we wanted to try so many things but brought a lot of leftovers home. Located across from Fremont brewery, Mini Bar is a great easily accessible restaurant. Came here for a double date on a Wednesday evening. My group planned to order a few appetizers on the share section of the menu but ended up ordering and sharing more plates half way into the evening because the food was so tasty and portion sizes were generous. The cocktails were fun, flavorful, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is super caring and the food is delicious - it feels like a mom and pop shop that I will easily come back to. Unassuming spot with the best food. Easiest parking is the paid lot. I think it's next to a laundromat because it smelled strongly of laundry detergent the entire time. Drinks were yummy - Watermelon-Rita ($13) and Prickly Pear Mule ($13). The food is INCREDIBLE. This Chicken Katsu ($15.95) is pounded very thinly, perfectly crispy and not greasy at all. Today is my second weekend coming back to MiniBar to watch the Seahawks game and I don't have enough good things to say about this bar. We came at 5pm last Saturdays with no reservation and the owner told us we might be able to come in around 5:30 so we went back to the car and we're looking for other places to go. After about 5 minutes of looking the owner came back out and waved me and my friends in which she didn't have to do (mind you, while we were in the bar she was turning people away who didn't have a res). Today we came back and the owner gave us two free bottles of soju and Jell-O shots just for coming back. The food is bomb, atmosphere is on point and the owner is the nicest person ever. This was my first time at Mini Bar to watch the Seahawks game with my partner and 2 friends and right away the manager was so friendly and kind and welcomed us stating that she remembered them from last time. We were treated to a free bottle of soju as an homage from the last time my friends were there. We also loved that there were card and board games everywhere that we used during halftime, super sick. At one point the waiter acknowledged he had forgotten to put in one of our orders for us and he gave us another free bottle of soju as an apology. We love an accountability King. My roommate and I came here for Seahawks vs Rams game Jan 25 2026. I cannot stress enough that I am and have been a server/line cook for the past ten years, as have my roommate. We are very understanding of having a bad day as a server or being in the weeds and getting a bit snippy with customers. This is not what happened tonight! 3.5 stars for crab Rangoon, good enough portion size (8) for $16-$18 without tax + tip, so about $2-3/ Rangoon. My roommate and I couldn't taste any crab, maybe it was just a light batch, fair enough. Other people around us got the fries and the kimbap, and the portion sizes seem pretty fair. Yes the pretzel is $16 without tax, but it does come with (estimating generously) 5 ~ 6" pretzel buns and ~ 3 oz cheese sauce. That's fair in Seattle. That's unfortunately also the only good thing I can say about this place. Where Mini bar fell incredibly short was the customer service. Like genuinely, the worst I've experienced across hundreds of bars and restaurants across the world. This is probably the worst. Firstly, they don't list ANY prices for alcohol, probably because their canned beers (Pacificos, raniers) are $8 each and the cocktails are $17 each, of course without taxes or tip. We're talking $10 cans all things considered. After we got our first round of beers (FYI the bar was empty aside from one other table at this point) the cashier came up to us every 10-15 minutes asking if we wanted more beer or at multiple points trying to clear our still half full beers without asking (this was really confusing). After being pestered so many times for further food or beverage order, I finally went to get a $22 order of crab rangoon (with tax and tip, because, of course we tipped on every transaction, even when we were grabbing our own beer cans from their fridge). While the cashier was taking my order, he said something along the lines of "good, I didn't want to have to kick you guys out/ask you to leave". At this point we had been there MAYBE 45 minutes - 1 hour. The game had barely even started. wtf? We had already spent $40 on four beers and $22 on one order of 8 rangoon. To be clear, THERE ARE NO SIGNS INDICATING A TIME OR SPENDING LIMIT ON A TABLE. No indication of any such rule at all. While that comment obviously was rude I ignored it. We were still sipping on our half full beer cans around half-time (meaning we had been there about 1.5 hours) when the same cashier came over and asked us if we were intending to order more beers, otherwise we'd be asked to leave. When we pushed back, saying we had already spent $60-$70 on beer and food, he argued with us further that since it had been 20 minutes since we last ordered anything, that we needed to leave. My roommate told him that since there was no signage or rules about time/spending limit, we'd be staying. We decided to leave about 10 minutes after this anyways, it was just so uncomfortable. As we left (and I promise you I mean this when I say it on everything I have ever loved) I VERY KINDLY asked to speak to the manager. I prefaced my complaint by saying the food was wonderful and I understood what it's like to be on the service end of things. I then said without any proper signage, it was rude to ask customers to leave when they'd spent $60-70 on food and beers. The manager responded "nobody asked you to leave". We responded, "yeah, he did". She then said "well we're a small business". Again, I've worked independently for dinner parties and at dive bars and fine dining and literally everything in between. That's not an excuse for pressuring customers and poor customer service. We thanked them for their time, and respectfully did push back when they tried to say we had been sitting too long without ordering (our beers were ice cold and half full) or hadn't ordered enough (call me crazy but $70 at a bar should be more than enough to occupy two seats for a few hours, maybe I'm insane????) but remained kind throughout the conversation. As we walked out, the manager shook her head at us and the chef gave us the stink eye through the window. wtf dude? we even said your mid rangoons were great to try and cushion the blow of our complaint AND tipped 20-25% on every.single.transcation. and you're still going to be rude? I promise if I was karening out I have enough introspective capacity to clock that. My roommate and I were perfectly kind, quiet, respectful patrons and did not deserve to be treated like that. Odd behavior. like I said, worst customer service I've witnessed. Unfortunately as both a local and a member of the culinary industry cannot recommend. Such a shame. Do better. read more

The interior was pretty small but had very cool ambiance. They had a limited menu with fusion cuisine. I would say the food was average. Service was pretty good. Weird location, weird shaped building, but a pretty great environment! It's situated right off the Burke Gilman trail, but the front door points towards trail not towards the road. This building has had quite a bit of turnover over the last few years, so I think a lot of people don't know about this bar yet. The menu seems kind of fusion-y which isn't usually my favorite, but the thing that stood out to me the most was that they have actually really good beignets. They're big, fluffy, and just the right amount sweet. Bartender was super nice as well. Overall this was a fun new discovery for me! read more

Where do I start? My husband and I have been coming to the Mini Bar since they opened. I can never say a bad thing about our experience. They go above and beyond to make us feel like family. It's a couple who runs the restaurant, best food you'll eat. Cocktails are so good. We haven't had a bad dish! We went in last night and we recently got married, they remembered and brought us a special treat to celebrate. I always forgot to take photos of my food, but I will attach the times I have taken photos. There's also loads of games you can play while you're waiting for food. It's our favorite place to come. Be careful with the good reviews. It's very high on both Google and Yelp but this is more likely because the owner would actively appeal to Google/Yelp to have the unfavorable reviews removed. They also have a dishonest 3% surcharge if you pay with credit card, which was not advertised anywhere. If you are going to add a surcharge, at least tell your customers about it. The food is mediocre and no where near what some of the reviews made it sound to be. The food itself is 3-4 stars but I'm giving the business a 2 because of how the owner made very snarky comments to me on Google then have Google removed my review. The owner seems to have a pattern of identifying customers who made unfavorable reviews then making snarky comments--before asking Google/Yelp to remove the reviews. I seriously doubt how authentic the high ratings are. Also be aware of the parking situation nearby, especially if you arrive at night. This is not a suburban strip all, all parkings are paid parking and you'd be ticketed if you don't pay. -- Edit: (response to owner) where did you see me say you "paid" to get the review removed? We all know there are many tactics you can employ to get a review removed from public----be it appeal with your business account or mass report it. I don't think it's a coincidence that my review disappeared from Google Maps right after you snakily replied there. I wouldn't have this "hatred" if you didn't personally identify me, insulate my review (or any other negative ones you saw) was unfair, then try to get my review removed. People have different tastes, different standards--businesses get subpar ratings all the time. What's so hard of being a completely honest business instead of nurturing a fake "community" with a fake perfect review score? "Report" or even sue me all you want. I don't care. It will only make you look even worse. Please at least point out which part is "false" if you want to accuse me of slandering. Loved this place. We called ahead because we were coming with 10 people and they accommodated our group with a couple hours notice. But I will say the space is small, and better for small groups. The food was surprisingly good! It's a mix of Asian foods, and everything the group ordered was delicious. Curry was flavorful. Katsu was nice and crispy. Pork belly was tender.
