    Mule flight

Service was superb! I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The bossam was bomb! Enoki fritters were also tasty -- the right amount of crunch without feeling too oily / deep-fried, and the sauce was good. Will say though, the drinks sucked. The place is dive bar-esque, so I should've known better. The mules were syrupy sweet, that I didn't finish them. But because the food was good and the service was exceptional, would come again!! Will just order a typical beer (or soju) next time. ;)

A tiny Asian spot off the Burke‑Gilman that I always assumed was a coffee shop. We walked in and got pleasantly blindsided. The Brussels sprouts were the star! Crispy, saucy, with bacon! Our one dish came out huge, and everything on the nearby tables looked just as tempting. They're still setting up their new bar area, so no taps yet, but the place already feels like a low‑key gem hiding in plain sight. The waitress was a sweet delight too! I'm going to go back when I'm not riding my bike and I can be full right out the door.

Came here with a few friends and my husband to watch the first half of the Super Bowl. The space is definitely on the smaller side, but the details more than make up for it. The tables at the back are tiny, so if you're a big back eater like me, be prepared for limited space. The food really surprised me. I loved the fusion flavors and could tell the cooks/owners put a lot of effort into it. I even had to stand up because I ate too much, which gave me a good look at the mini bar. There was one very annoying drunk guy who started humping the fridge but he and his friends were promptly dismissed. The female owner is super friendly and spicy, so definitely don't get on her bad side! I love her energy; she has every right to protect her business and her customers. Nonetheless, she was very attentive and provided amazing customer service. On the positive note, the bar is dog-friendly! If I remember correctly, one day a week your fur babies even get a free meal. How cute is that? And the music, they play the best freaking music! (There was way more food than the pictures posted, looking forward to try something new next time) I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

The food is amazing, the owner is super nice and it's such a chill spot with some games. Bring a friend and enjoy the food!

Good people, good food and good drinks! It's a fun spot to come watch sports and hang out with friends. They have tons of games here too! Jane is so attentive and kind. We're so glad we have found this spot and can't wait to come here in the summer. They have garage doors that open up to get a great breeze and you're next to the water. Overall such a fun spot, support your local small businesses, especially this one. P.S. the kimchi fried rice and Korean curry are BOMB!

Overall this spot is nice! Kind of tucked away and hidden. The service was really nice and friendly slu and walked though the whole menu with us and what they thought was good. We picked the mussels from their thoughts and it was by far the best dish we thought. It had a lot of garlic and maybe too much in my opinion but I didn't mind too much. The bread and sauce were good. Everything' else was just alright. The enoki fritters were good, a lighter fried thing which I liked. The fries I didn't really care for, I wish there was more veggies on it and we all agreed the wings were a bit too wet and didn't have much crisp on them-- so not bad but not great wings. It's a good cute casual bar overall, don't really have any complaints just didn't like it enough I would go back.

This place is fantastic! Great service and food. The owner is the cook and she was so friendly and pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!!

I visited this restaurant recently, and while the food was fine, the service was lacking. The table we were seated at was sticky and dirty, and overall, the experience wasn't great. After leaving a review on Google, the owner responded rudely and dishonestly, falsely claiming that we sat ourselves instead of waiting to be seated. This was not true--we followed the proper process and waited to be seated. Instead of addressing the concerns professionally, they dismissed my feedback and ended their response with, "Glad you won't be coming back." I'm sharing this here because people should be aware of how this restaurant treats customer feedback. If this is how they respond to constructive criticism, I can't imagine how they handle more serious issues. Attaching a screenshot of the owner's response so you can see for yourself.

10/10 experience! We tried the dungen board + mule flight and it was yummy! All the seafood was so delicious especially with the butter dip -- only wish is for more seafood! We also didn't expect huge cups of mules for our flight so that was a really nice surprise. Highly recommend! Ambience was great and fun and service was great! Everyone seemed enthusiastic and even recommended us place to go next!

This place is such a hidden gem!!! Every single bite of food absolutely HIT. We couldn't stop eating it. A little pricey, but the vibes are good, the staff is nice, and the servings are large. Truly, everything was so umami and seasoned well. The drinks were also outstanding. We really loved the bulgogi fries and the roll. Just so good. Now that I think about it, we also really loved the pork belly too. Just such a good fun date night spot! Perfect to eat here and then have a little sunset watch at gasworks park. There is parking out front, but not free :)

    Beignets!
    Scott W.

Unbelievable! Fantastic food, great staff. Very attentive. Wild drinks! Order a few tapas, you'll be very happy! Pork belly, wings, beignets are to die for!

I'm writing in response to "Wallingford L"'s review posted on Jan 25 2026. I was here and witnessed this interaction- first off, the waiter never told the girls to leave the table or tried to push them out, and second off the girls were not "extremely nice" when talking to the owner and actually were extremely rude and inconsiderate of a small business. Also, if these girls worked in the industry, they should understand that spending $60 total for two people, while taking up a four person table over the course of a big sporting event, isn't a lot, especially in this area in Seattle. On top of that, $8 beers and $17 cocktails are actually pretty standard drink prices for this area of Seattle. The food at Minibar is amazing, and portions are some of the most reasonable in Seattle. This entire post by them is pretty unfair and one sided from some petty Karens (who even had to call out that they were not being Karens) trying to tarnish a small business. Also another shoutout to Minibar since they are super dog friendly! They even give your dog a pup bowl so that they can eat with you!

The menu and experience differ between lunch and dinner, and this is my lunch review. Simply put, lunch is much more casual and affordable than dinner (You order lunch scanning the QR code at the table). If you're on a budget, you can eat lunch here for less than $20. I went here for lunch twice during my business trip last month and here's what I ordered: - Seafood Tofu Soup - $17.50 - A seafood soondoobu (순두부) with a generous helping of soft tofu, shrimp, mussels and clam, served with rice. Delicious, refreshing and not spicy-I bet they could make it spicy if you asked. I enjoyed the texture from the cabbage bits. - Seolleongtang (설렁탕) - $15.50 - Oxtail bone broth served with potato starch noodles and brisket, comes with salt and green onion already added(typically doesn't at other Korean restaurants). High-quality ingredients and flavor, a great comfort food with a generous serving of brisket. - Shaved ice dessert (빙수) - $9.00 - A great combination of cinnamon, ginger cream and fried rice puffs. Delicious and different than other Korean shaved ice desserts I've had that typically have red bean and overly sweet ingredients. If you're on the fence about coming here, maybe try out lunch first. Lunch is more casual, affordable and simpler than dinner, but is delicious and high-quality. You should come here for dinner too, and I'll post about my dinners here soon.

He told me I made the best Cavatelli al Rapini he'd ever had. So trust me when I say I know food better than the back of my hand. This place is rare. I stumbled in because it looked frufru and right up my alley, but it's everything you'd expect from those celebrity chef, Michelin Guide, eyeball eating experiences, without an ounce of the pretentiousness. The entire team is humble, soft spoken, and unbelievably talented. My server, Stella, gave phenomenal recommendations and made for genuinely great conversation. You can tell everyone here is passionate and actually gives a f%#k. That's becoming incredibly rare in this industry, where too many chefs are chasing their next award and too many servers are chasing their next paycheck. If you have something to celebrate, a first date to impress, or just need an excuse to treat yourself, make a reservation here. And whatever you do, don't you dare leave without ordering the oxtail or the tartare. Outstanding job.

These folks probably need another great review like Elon Musk needs an increase in his allowance,…read morebut fairness demands that I not keep silent regarding my enjoyment of this restaurant: THE ROSES: Ample dedicated parking. The staff is gracious, prompt, professional, and - I hope no one objects when I say this - rather attractive. Generous portions and reasonable prices for what you're getting. The food is nothing sort of legendary - bold flavors and dishes have the perfect balance of sweet, heat, savory, and umami. THE THORNS: None significant enough to mention. NEITHER ROSE NOR THORN: It is important to note that this place is insanely popular with the area's Korean community. The restaurant is quite busy Thursday thru Sunday, and significant waits for a table are likely. Monday thru Wednesday is your best time for going and getting a table without a wait. The price of some dishes, like their signature offering, Kalbijjim, might give you a pause ($80+). It is important to keep in mind this is made to order, and one serving can easily serve four regular appetites. If you're just a couple, you're definitely going to be taking this home with you. This is not a bad thing, as Kalbijjim is one of those dishes that is even better the next day and doesn't suffer from reheating. THE VERDICT: Daeho Kalbijjim is extremely popular, and it's not hard to see why. The execute authentic Korean cuisine pretty much flawlessly with efficient and charming service. What else to you want in a restaurant? Highly recommend. Just try not to go on the busy days.

The first time I visited, the quality of the meat cuts didn't impress me, and the soups lacked depth of flavor. I'm not talking about needing more salt--the broth itself just tasted flat. When you're paying close to $30 for a bowl of soup, I think it's reasonable to expect a higher level of quality and care to ingredients. The second visit was a mixed experience. To be fair, I was in the wrong. There is a clearly posted policy stating that your entire party must be present before being seated. My group was about seven minutes away, and since I had already checked in on Yelp and there were only two parties ahead of me with no one physically waiting, I asked if I could be seated and order while I waited. I had already been standing inside for about 10 minutes. I was told that although tables were available, seating me ahead of the other parties on the waitlist would be unfair. I understood the reasoning, but she had also asked prior for my order. Her explanation left me confused so i sheepishly said I understood the policy. She already seemed upset by the time i had gotten there. Sometimes we have off days i get that. This place is clearly hit or miss, I've got friends who absolutely swear by it. For me, though, it wasn't anything special and didn't justify the price. If you're looking for Korean food in the area, I've had better experiences with higher-quality dishes elsewhere, especially in Lynnwood.

The Rose Ttoekbokki with cheese was very yummy, but it kinda tasted like pasta with rice cakes instead of spaghetti. I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often. When I went, it was just me then a couple arrived. There was a delay with their order so she provided some mandu on the house while their order was being prepared.
