Super excited to have stumbled on legit Chinese food in Corona! I had a craving for XLB so gave their juicy pork and crab XLB a try. I will say the crab flavor wasn't very prominent, but they were indeed juicy and wrapped nicely in what appeared to be homemade wrappers. About $10 gets you 8 xlb, and while these were good I'd probably stick with the regular pork xlb next time (which are slightly cheaper too). Planning on checking out their lunch specials next time; they're not in the print menu but they do have a poster on their front door with options. About $10 gets you an entree, rice, veggies, and what appears to be a small cucumber appetizer. Service was fast despite them needing to steam my xlb and I was in and out in less than an hour. I was looking forward to dinning here, had amazing reviews. We arrived around 730 pm. There was maybe three other families dinning. Right of the bat our waiter rushed our orders as if the restaurant was closing soon. We ordered the combo rice, broccoli beef, juicy pork dumplings, bbq pork bun, and the vegetable & pork wonton soup. The combo rice was oily not much seasoning added to it very bland compared to others. Broccoli beef was ok, good portion. The dumplings where good, but the bbq pork buns seem to be filled with a type of bean paste. No BBQ PORK whatsoever. The soup was amazing. Just based of their customer service I give them two stars. They are not very friendly or helpful. We had some leftover soup and I wanted to buy an additional portion of the soup to go and he refused to sell it to me. Really just wanting us to leave. According to them, a group of picky eaters, the juicy pork dumplings are excellent. Titled exactly how they taste. The veggie and fish fillings, both good, but essentially lacked flavor. The XLB (xia long bao or juicy soup pork dumplings) is pretty on point. In truth, maybe the dough on top (the tip of the dimpling) is a bit heavy but it's yummy dumpling dough so it's all cool. If you've been to any decent dim sum place in SoCal, you already know they aren't stellar in the customer service category. Therefore, you concern yourself with the food rather than the service. That said, go for the food, not for the service. Then, order the soup dumplings (xlb) and pan fried pot stickers. Dip in ginger, soy, vinegar concoction and count yourself lucky that you don't have to drive hours to get some din tai fung. This place will do just fine to satisfy that craving. read more

During my initial visit, had the beef thick noodle soup and shiao lun bao(pork soup buns). Noodles were too soft and mushy. This past Tuesday or my subsequent visit with co-workers, had shiao lun bao, beef dish on hot pot, beancurd stir fry with pork, walnut shrimp, spicy half raw fish served with Chinese bean sprouts and lots of hot sauce in a big stainless steel bowl, sliced bean curd skin stir fry, and pan fry buns. Co-worker found a strand of hair in the shao lun bao and asked the restaurant to take the entire order back. I found a strand of short curly pub in my serving of bean curd, terribly disgusted and showed it to the waiter. He was defensive and claimed all the cooks and chefs in the back are bald. What does being bald have to do with pub hair?!?!?! The half raw fish was uneatable. In the afternoon my stomach made constant growling noises and by day's end, toilet-bound every 15 minutes. By the time nightfalls, sharp pain in stomach and tied to my toilet since. Not recommend unless you like eating dangerously. read more

Food was good and brought out fairly quickly and the restaurant was very clean. However the service was not as good as the food. After we received our food we didn't receive any attention unless we called someone over from behind the counter. Maybe not a deal breaker, but definitely something to take into account. I'm leaving my original review down below because I still think it applies. Today I decided to order a pick up order of the dumplings. I am adding another star because I do genuinely really like the chicken dumplings. My opinion on the fact that the only thing you should order from this place is the dumplings stands. I will only come to this location if I'm really craving dumplings (like i was today). But other than that, please refer to my previous opinion on this place below. The first time i tried this place, was when my family brought me a pick up order of their chicken dumplings. I liked them enough to dine in today with my boyfriend. We decided to get the chicken dumplings and pork dumplings. We also decided to mix it up and get some non dumpling entrees... this is where we made our mistake. We got this beef wrap thing because the picture looked good and let me tel you, they STUFF that with cilantro and the beef ratio is outweighed by the other items. We also ordered the kung pao chicken. Again, the meat was outweighed by other items. I'm literally only giving this two starts because the dumplings. The only reason I'd go back is for the dumplings. Disappointed and I wanted a refund but i didn't wanna be mean to the really nice employees. Edit: I didn't post this edit the same day because I thought I would be a little harsh if I did. But after posting the review, both me and my boyfriend were having the worst stomach problems. Not to be TMI, but we got food poising just to say the least. Everything here tastes a lot like Chinese fast food, Panda Express level. It does not taste like sit down restaurant food or typical Dim Sum. I came with my family and my brother's family. I am crazy about dumpling and although this place is called dumpling house it still has a full menu. Anyways I tried the pan fired dumplings and the juicy dumplings. Both Awesome one is steamed with soup inside the other pan fried also soup inside . Thought we'd try somewhere new today. So I checked out the helpful yelp app and found Min's dumping house. We had the onion pancake as a appetizer which the name is a little deceiving it's very crispy. It was however still good. For our entrees we got the fried vegetable dumping and the steamed pork and shrimp dumplings. The vegetable dumplings seemed very fresh, while the shrimp and pork dumplings were a little bland and needed the soy sauce and vinegar. Overall for the price and the huge portion sizes it was good. But I agree with some of the other reviews it's not amazing. I would come again if I am in the area craving dumplings. read more

I will still order from here, but I just want the kitchen to be aware of the dangers of using Brillo pads in the kitchen. Stopped by on the way home. This place is surprisingly good. We ordered the soup pork dumplings, crab and pork soup dumplings, salt and pepper fish fillet, beef noodle soup and pickled cabbage pork noodle soup. Everything was delishious. The dumplings had the perfect amount of juices exploding in my mouth when I bit down. The two noodle soups tasted great with hand cut noodles. The salt and pepper fish was seasoned perfectly and had just the right amount of crispy coating. I would say this place is a pretty legit Chinese restaurant. Not like cheap Chinese take out food. Prices are about 10-12 per plate, but portions are large for families to share. About my only complaint is the lack of sauces. They have black vinegar, soy sauce, and pepper oil on the tables, bug if you like plum or bean curd sauces, you need to ask. Will be returning to support this business. read more
