They have such great quality items, but it was the customer service that sold us and we will be lifelong customers. Turn around time for items was quick. Jeff, knew exactly the door we had. Then he explained in detail what we had on our hands and even threw in a referral to two locksmiths. I was listening to him, he explain the difference between the two referrals. the budget friendly referral is not budget friendly anymore, but over the phone we liked his customer service over the other. Jeff's expertise was flawless down to him running to his stockroom to provide us the parts. Since we were in a rush to get the job done & be back for a delivery. (new home owners) alert. Jeff is the "Aidan Gillen" of Hardware. But I sure caution: DO NOT use their budget friendly referral. That man doesn't have the expertise for these beautiful complex doors, we ended up replacing the mortis lock (+additional $350), then this budget guy took the wrong measurements of our equipment and shaved down the door tongue pin too far, the replacement cost us an additional $50 and change. Plus their service fee $225. Our business will be back, despite the locksmith experience. Have your own locksmith in hand, hell we found out a family friend is going to give us the family discount now. Just ask, we may even have neighbors who are experts that we can trade trades with. Thank you Jeff! and Huntington Hardware.

Contractors' Warehouse has many home construction products available. I came for bathroom lights,…read moremirrors, and towel racks. They have diverse options that are nicely labeled on the display and inventory section. The prices for some items are better than Home Depot. However, prices for cabinets and counter tops are more competitive elsewhere. Most stores nowadays only carry modern options, and here they carry the not-as-trending models too. Brand wise, other stores carry more options. For example, I didn't see Pfister or Kohler facets. Although the aisles are nicely labeled, it was hard finding my way around to the sections I needed without asking. Even then, not all employees knew exactly which section had the items and would give a range instead. I recommend monitoring cashier behavior. My cashier gave the impression of lacking respect for customers. She kept talking about food and lunch orders with the coworkers, looking at her nails, ignoring me as I waited at check out. It was not until I asked a third time if I could check out that I was acknowledged. Additionally, I was the only customer at checkout... I hope to see the checkout experienced improved for the future.

Monday July 27/2026 Glendora location…read more 10:15 AM Bear/ Employees at the Paint department ( counter ) PUSHY HARD SELL.! Exterior paint ( Trim rough sawn ) Existing Dark brown stain Going to: Bear True Navy. Going to Lowe's to purchase 5 gallons of paint. High Nap paint rollers. The sells rep for Bear was extremely pushy, upselling products we do not need. We wanted the high-end exterior paint for the trim and eves of the house. The trim and eves is a Dark brown stain , we wanted to put a Navy blue paint on clean dark brown wood. The Bear sells men kept pushing primer! My husband has two shoulders that were reconstructed during surgery so working overhead is difficult, so he wanted a paint that had a primer in it, which it does, but the guy insisted and kept pushing for a primer by itself, and then the paint with a primer in it. Dark eaves and trim with new paint colors navy blue, which is dark. I understand if you have black evaes and you're going to put a white trim on them then you need a primer.. You lost a huge sale due to your Bear salesman.! Sad!! Going to take my business to Lowe's.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who was very stressed out after hiring Home Depot…read moreof Glendora to do their shower renovation. She decided to trust Home Depot because they are a big company that would back up any potential mishaps done in the home renovation work. Unfortunately, the opposite was the case. Home Depot hired a subcontractor to do the work, American Home Remodeling out of Corona, CA. Initially they quoted her over $14k to complete this project. The sales person came to her house and quoted that internal plumbing work would be included in the initial price quote. Once they broke through walls they told her another $4,200 would be necessary to add new plumbing since her house is dated. My mother was frustrated with the lack of clarity of the additional $4,200 charge so she expressed her concerns with the company that Home Depot subcontracted to for the repairs. At that point American Home Remodeling decided to smooth things out with my father who had nothing to do with the project. They emailed a new contract for my father to review and e sign even though he was not managing the project. My mother was feeling helpless since the contractors disregarded her when she was the one who hired them. Instead they got my father on the phone and encouraged him to agree to the additional $4,200 cost and work to be done. My father is a 78 year old man who was not aware of the project's scope from the beginning and he was taken advantage of. As their daughter I am disappointed with how this was all handled. My mother never received a detailed itemized project proposal with the costs associated prior to the work being started. When she called the initial sales person back, they ignored her calls and called my father back instead to complete the additional work. My mother feels like she got cheated as they circumvented her on her own project.
