Ventilation is important to me. And this salon has that. The staff is friendly and provided excellent service. No appointment was needed. But I did not have to wait. This review is for Nikki - she did an AWESOME job with my nails for my wedding! I was a walk-in client that received a pink and white acrylic set, pedicure, and charms/design. Nikki is super easy to talk to and super creative/talented! I had to leave early for a spray tan appointment and Nikki easily fit me in for the next day at 9am to finish the designs. My daughter and I went for a pre-graduation manicure and pedicure. Within 1 day both of us had chipped nail polish on both our fingers and toes. When I returned the following day asking them to redo my fingernails they were willing to. The unfortunate part was being told by the person redoing my nails that regular polish is only meant to last a couple days! I informed her that within the first 24 hours we both had chips, and that in the 25 plus years I have been getting manicures and pedicures I have never had it chip that quickly nor have I ever been told to only expect it to last a day or two. I cannot imagine who would be willing to pay $35 for a mani/pedi that will be chipped within a day or two! Unfortunately I had brought two friends and their daughters for mani/pedis on our original visit, now I am embarrassed and sorry I did, as I am sure theirs are no better! Lesson learned! read more

Words cannot describe how awesome this nail salon is. I have gone to different places for my wax, from LA to the bay, and without a doubt, Tran is the best at doing it. Usually I would grunt when my hair gets pulled, but Tran makes the pain minimal. My search for a wax specialist is over. Tran is the one. As for her nail skills, my words would just be superfluous because all the reviewers here have already raved enough about how fabulous Tran is. She is fast, meticulous, creative, and talented. I went here a couple of days ago and found that it was under new management as of a month or so ago. They were oober friendly, which was awesome and very clean. They did a great long leg/foot massage and had new state-of-the-art chairs with lots of massage button options. My son and daughter went with me. My daughter got to sit in a pink buttefly chair which is super cool and got a pedi with color and flower nail art for only $20! I thought it was a great deal. My son got a mani and pedi for $25. My french pedicure was $30, I'm used to paying $18 where I lived before so it felt a little steep but I still give them 5 stars! read more

Where can a girl get some TLC for her needy nails? Fashion Nails Salon of course! I came here on a Thursday afternoon as a walk in. Not busy at all. The receptionist was so friendly and as she seated us, she offered us little water bottles and showed us to our spots. All the ladies there had name tags which made it so easy to recognize them and the place is so clean! All equipment auto-claved/sterile. They even have two little pink spa chairs for little girls' princess pedicures! Cute for kids! I got acrylics for $28 (not including tip- cash only) and Amy my manicurist was so meticulous when doing my nails. Not very talkative, but neither am I so it was a relaxing experience as I listened to music. Overall the place is clean, nice ladies and not too pricey. I enjoyed my experience and I'm sure you will too! They have little chairs for girls, and my daughter was so happy getting her first pedi - My husband got a very nice pedi and foot massage. I had my eyebrows, underarms and pedi done! The staff is so friendly, the ambiance is so relaxing, and the massage was longer and better than other places I've been. They have enough staff and enough chairs to get service quick, so you dont have to wait until someone is available. I've been coming to this nail salon for about a year now and the service is great! Just this past Wednesday I went to get a new set of acrylics, the lady had done my nails a time or two before and did an okay job. This time they turned out horribly, I didn't say anything because I hate causing a scene lol Well the next day my one nail had popped off and the others started to crack and peel off. I'm not one to usually give negative reviews, but my experience here was very off. Maybe it was just an off day for them I dont know, but I definitely will not be back. I went during lunch time and I work in the area so thought I would get a shellac nail polish removal and then a re-application. Pretty Basic. First off the place was freezing cold. Its a pretty cold winter day today but it was almost colder in there than outside. Atmosphere- The technicians were wearing huge winter coats and I could feel the cold going through my shoes. When the nail technician touched my hands, hers were like ice. I mentioned it was cold and she said she thinks the heater has been broken for quite some time. Cleanliness- The place in general was very dirty and disheveled. There were pieces of foils thrown on the floor with scissors on the floor. That foil is going to go on someone's nails, not very sanitary. Not to mention the nail bench where I was getting my manicure looked like it hadnt been cleaned or dusted in months as there was a lot of dust buildup.. just gross. Nail Technician- She wasn't rude or friendly. She wrapped my nails in the acetone and foil (probably on the floor before) and then proceeded to remove her own nail polish, which I thought was weird. Then she started removing my shellac by scraping it with her own long hard fingernails. It was gross. Her hands were also dirty. I was flabbergasted that she would use her own nails to do this. Most nail salons I have been to (been to MANY) use an orange wood stick to gently scrape it or even a nail file but not her own fingernails. She also kept coughing (probably sick because its so cold) but wasnt wearing a mask.. she would wipe her nose with her hands and then gi back to touching my hands and scraping my nails with her nails. Very unsanitary. I ended up not going through with the manicure. I paid $5 for the shellac removal and left before I got some sort of fungus! read more

Ok....Finally I have found a place that is bi-nail (ha) meaning that I can get my real nails worked on without brutality! I love this place...they are so friendly there...no rude chatter and they pay attention to you or not (sometimes you just want quiet and the mind set to ENJOY). What I love most is summer time pedi's because of the art work they do - so cute - so good. Once I attended my Italian Family Reunion - they suggested I put the Italian flag on my toes - HOW CUTE and it was a hit. Last thing - the Manager is amazing. Nothing but personality plus. I've been all over the place searching for good price with quality work.... but I have stayed here for over a year now - and found the girl I like to work with most! I recently just found this place on YELP. They had exactly what I was looking for. 3D nail art and I love it. This nail salon was very nice and clean inside. I personally went to Tran who is very good at the 3D nal art. She is very sweet and has a wonderful personality. I will forsure go back again and again. I deffenitly recommend this Nail salon. Okay, I read really good reviews on this salon. A friend and myself were just in the neighborhood and decided to get our nails done. Their pedicures were amazing! I even got a longer massage and almost fell asleep. That's why I am giving away one star. When it came to my nails the nail technician named Amy was rude. I wanted pointed nails that looked natural but, squared off at the tip. My nails were fine a first until I got home and my index finger broke. So I came back the next day and a Pregnant Nail Technician fixed my nail. Sorry I forgot her name, completely sweet woman. Next I get home and another breaks. Now remind you all I've done was go home. First nail broke some how in my sleep and the second one broke by me dropping my purse down. I have never had my nails break off. I may have a small nail bed and small nails period but the nails have at least lasted a week. So I called in the next day to get a refund and a first they were going to. Then when I got to the salon "AMY" was rude, and didn't want to accept her fault for making my nails waaaaaaaaay to thin where I could bend them. I then became utterly upset. She wanted to argue with me and try to get me to have my nails totally redone by her again. At that time I was so pissed off and there was no way in hell I would let her do my nails again. I will never go there again! 2 stars go for my pedicure and the warm hearted pregnant nail technician. Or else I wouldn't even give a star. i was near here for work so i dropped in during lunch for a mani/pedi. the place is fairly large, with a lot of wasted space in the middle of the room, as each side of the room is flanked with either a row of pedi spa chairs, or a row of mani work stations, and nothing in the middel (i could've done gymnastics down the center of the room). thankfully, there are no flat screen tvs, but music from a radio station playing. the place appeared to be fairly clean, and the girl used new nail files, etc. on me. the only thing that was "recycled" was the pumice stone used on my feet. i cringed but oh well, i was already deep into it. i also didn't like that my girl was a smoker b/c when she came to do my nails she reeked. overall, not bad ($55 for a spa pedi and mani) with extra long massages on my feet/legs. but, be forewarned that you can't add tip to your credit card (even though there's a spot for it on the receipt), and my girl couldn't tell me if there were any atm machines near by. read more

first time visiting fashion nails after an unsatisfied visit at my regular place. from the endless pics on yelp with funky designs, i thought they would be able to replicate a design i got from the web. wrong!! i am posting the pic i showed to tiffany and the nails i ended up with. the glitter part was done sloppy and i have glitter al over my cuticles and fingers. she said it will go away once i wash my hands but no, that did not happen. the pricing was not bad at all. it was 35 dollars for a shellac manicure with design. i think it could have been cheaper because again, i went there straight from my other place so my cuticles and shape were already taken care of. i am willing to give them another try and will update my stars after. read more

I need to state that Nikki is very professional. She personally reached out to me and righted the wrong.

My friend had made us appointments here so this was my first time at this place. She had made us appointments so we got in right away, even though there were only a few patrons being serviced. The setting was beautiful! There was a line of about 12 massage chairs for pedicures and a large area for stations for manicures. However our experience was by far not what we were hoping for. The ladies sat us down with many chairs for them to choose for us and they give my friend the one chair that doesn't work so she had no massage the whole time. - they also made a huge deal about taking my acrylics off- which was embarrassing!! I had about 5 manicurist surrounding me all confused on what to do. The gentleman next to me even spoke up. Then they started ripping off my nails- WITHOUT soaking them- and said "just tell me if it hurts-" then they ended up charging me for that too! - also I get home and noticed they didn't even bother cutting my nails to match each hand OR put a top coat of clear on them. I went home, cut and filed my nails down, and then I have since put on 2 coats of clear. Its called a top coat Fashion Nails Salon. All in all pretty disappointed- the setting and room looks awesome and then you are completely shocked by the poor service and job they have done. read more

I used to LOVE this salon (I think I've previously given them 5 star reviews) but I've had so many bad experiences over the past couple of years (correlating with a change in management) that I won't go back. Though some of the staff is beyond nice and amazing at what they do, I've been treated like dirt by too many of the staff (including management (Nikki is great if you want nice nails, not so great if you want to be treated with kindness and not talked about as soon as you turn your back), and I will never return. I've found several other salons in the area that also do a great job and are nice to ALL their clients. Overall, they do good work, but to me, the good work isn't worth being treated so rudely. read more

I'm never going back. I came in to get a colour change and I had the girl who sits at the first table. She dug into my cuticles with the nail file, rushed putting on the nail polish and got it all on my skin. I washed my hands and inspected the nails, had to sit there rubbing my fingers to get the nail polish off my skin, went to the front, PAID (and signed too), and was telling the man that it's just really messy and that I don't really like it. In comes the girl telling me that it's because the powder on my nails is uneven, and that my cuticles were like that when I went in (I always use cuticle oil because I have dry skin) point is, she proceeded by YELLING at me, saying I'm not listening to what she's saying. I told her I heard what she said and I disagree with her because I know what my hands looked like when I walked in, I also told her it was unprofessional to raise her voice at a customer, and I didn't raise my own voice because I refuse to have a yelling match with anyone, let alone a nail technician. She continued yelling until I told her I was done talking to her. The powder on my nails that she wants to use as an excuse for a rushed and messy job was fresh (a week old at most), and the only reason I came in for the colour change was because two of my nails had the gel polish fall off of them. The man was very nice took off the colour for me, cleaning up my hands and gave me a refund. This review excludes him, I appreciate what he did for me, but this woman is very rude and for her to yell at me because I said she didn't do a good job speaks volumes about her professionalism. I suggest you take your business elsewhere just because of her. read more

Loved this place when Nikki was running it but not anymore. Was so excited to go there to find out it was being ran by someone else! The nail techs were ten times better than the ones now. I drive all the way out from tracy just to see her! I never have a problem with nails lifting,( I did before coming to her) I will never go anywhere else again. Top notch nail salon. I have been going here for ten plus years and have always been satisfied. Their new location (a few doors down from the old location) is bright and clean. I always feel to well taken care of. The techs are always thorough and do an excellent job. Their supplies are clean and sanitary (a huge factor for me which I get very picky about). On weekends it can get busy. I would recommend calling ahead if you can. Usually they can seat me quickly even as a walk in.
