    Salted Caramel

Great environment! Smelled and looked inside. The customer service was great. They were helpful! I had a salted caramel iced latte with cold foam! I also got a chocolate banana nut bread and it did not disappoint. It was fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back. Lots of seating inside.

If I lived in San Diego, I would probably spend a lot of time here! I really loved the vibe, woman, owned, dog-friendly, and tons of plants everywhere! Plus they had early 2000s throwbacks, like Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. What is there not to love about that? The drinks were also super tasty, and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating, and tons of windows for natural sunlight. Service was super nice.

Coffee was excellent and the breakfast sandwich was very yummy. Definitely would recommend

The barista behind the counter makes the best cold foam I have ever had! She takes your request and makes the best recipes! Try her banana cold foam or coconut! You won't be disturbed

Came from the airport for a light breakfast! Construction made me drive around in circles so don't get discouraged if you're coming from out of town. Had 2 breakfast sammies, a large dirty chair, and a medium vanilla latte for ~$35 pre-tip. Food was good but eggs were a little hard, could use a little more salt. Drinks were pretty good and loved the lighting and ambiance. If I lived nearby, it would totally be a cute place to work on the afternoon. The two employees there were really nice and it was a refreshing experience!

The pistachio latte was phenomenal! I'm dreaming about it and it was yesterday when I had it! Such a great vibe with the plants and sofas!!

Paradise bar, breakfast bagel, and the dirty chai protein shake

Nice spot here in the Cortez Hill area for neighbors in the area, passerby, and visitors from anywhere. Staff recognize me and my partner and always make us feel welcome. I usually have a baked good--their paradise bar is my fav, but the honey bran muffin and vegan zucchini bread are also my go-tos--with one of their Signature decaf espresso drinks. I get a new drink nearly every time but find myself going for their honey lavender latte, cafe con miel, or whatever their seasonal special is. Personally haven't tried their boba drinks, but that's an option here for those who want it. My partner usually orders their breakfast bagels or sandwiches and / or protein smoothie and I've always heard praise from him regarding those. I've done remote work from here many times. Might not be best if you have a meeting planned in the workday, but if no talking is required then you'll be in a good spot. Plenty of seating available, nice lighting because of the large windows, and the plants inside are a very nice touch. There are outlets here, but they're not in all areas of the interior. There are two that I can think of to the right of the Ninth Avenue entrance.

    Cafe white mocha

This place is cute and cozy. I went there in the morning around 8:30am and not many people there. I ordered white mocha and the service was a little bit slow. The white mocha was okay, didn't offer any sweetness option, it was a little bit sweet for me.

This cafe was walking distance to our hotel, WorldMark. It is super cute inside, they have a great menu with a variety of great options for everyone the breakfast sandwiches were delicious! I tried the Loop which was a pesto cream cheese bagel with tomato's I've never had anything like it! The best part was my iced honey lavender latte. It was soooooo good!!! Most lavender flavors are a little overpowering but this one is so smooth and subtle. Even my husband really liked it and he HATES lavender lol. It almost tastes like a cereal milk latte. We wish we had a Mio + Tuo back at home in LA.

    matcha latte

A bit underwhelming. I expected a bit more after reading the reviews online. I got a matcha latte and a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. The matcha latte lacked depth and was bland. The bagel was a very ordinary bagel, nothing to write home about. Prices are comparable to other cafes in the area. The service was friendly but overall it's skippable for me.

Solid lunch spot in downtown san diego. Chicken panini is ok. Could have more chicken. Taro milk tea is good. Jasmine milk tea is also good. Can't go wrong with either of these. They have tables inside & wifi. Close too early though, 2pm.

Great to find a place that sells bagel sandwiches, nice and toasty and very affordable! It's almost like a hidden gem. I tried other local popular bagel places and they are always sold out before its' even 11AM. This place has sandwiches in croissant or bagels and they were not sold out before 11AM. However, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing! I ordered an everything bagel with two eggs, pork patty and cheddar cheese and it came out piping hot with my cheese melted just the way I like it. More importantly it was under $9 including tips! I've had similar sandwiches at Spill the Beans and it was easily over $15! It was clean and spacious inside, with a variety of seatings. I also appreciate the different plants throughout the shop.

Do they offer heavy cream and sugar free syrups for their beverages? (Keeping it KETO)☮️😷

They have almond milk so you can get that to keep things pretty keto. Like a plain latte... I didn't notice if they had sugar free anything... The trade off for a few extra net carbs is less calories from the heavy cream...

AVOID!! I love…read moresupporting small businesses and really wanted to like this place so I can return and send others, BUT too many issues... 1) Employees aren't familiar nor clear with ingredients, which is problematic for a diabetic 2) Basic jasmine milk tea was just shy of $10 for a large, marketed as 32oz but was quite a bit short. See pic of my 32oz Hydro Flask (she did top it off after explaining that she knew the cups weren't a full 32 ounces -of course I had to question the size first). When I asked about it, the owner seemed to know that their cups are smaller than the advertised amount but because, according to her, that's how it was marketed to them by the supplier, they didn't change it. Again, this is problematic to me. If you know the supplier is short changing you, and my guess is because you went with the cheapest cup (which may also mean inferior plastic for unwitting consumers), why in the world wouldn't you remeasure and advertise it correctly??!!! You've lost my trust in exchange for a quick buck. I'd prefer honesty. 3) Worst offense... within 30 minutes of drinking, I started feeling unwell and getting bloated. Clearly indicates to me that they either didn't disclose some mysterious ingredient or there was a problem with their sanitation somewhere -unfortunately I didn't watch her make it. Prior to this happening and me now stuck on the couch in pain, I was going to give them an extra star for quick service. It's a little shop in a small strip mall, clean enough in the table areas but unsure about the back. I didn't check reviews before walking in because somebody nearby had recommended it to me -a stranger, and I figured how bad can a boba shop be, obviously MY mistake. Gotta check YELP before I go anywhere. Had I read previous reviews, especially the one star recently about using chemicals in the same sink they make drinks from with TAP water, I would have never entered. On top of this, the taste was one of the worst milk teas I've ever had. Tasted like milk powder than real milk. AVOID!!

This looked like a nice place to grab a bite so we stopped in. We ordered the breakfast burrito with no avocado, a BLTA, and avocado toast with egg on top. The drinks came out within reason but then we were stuck waiting . People before us had received their food. Finally after 30 mins I got my burrito and of course it had avocado on it. I ate the side that didn't have it but I was bummed to pay, wait 30 mins, and get it wrong. But I wasn't about to complain and be forced to wait longer for a correct version. Our friend who ordered the avocado toast went up and asked if hers would be done soon and they said they didn't have that order in the system.they scrambled to make it and handed it to her and totally forgot the egg she paid extra for. They took it back and added an extra egg as an apology but by then it had been 40 mins. The food isn't bad but the wait was far from worth it. I'd rather go to a chain and get something quicker. I love to support small business but this was not worth it in any way. Also hard to wait that long while the meal wasn't cheap in any means. Just disappointed.

Came for some piping hot soup to recover after a bachelorette weekend, and pho bo hit the spot. I ordered the #1, and portions and toppings were both super generous. That first sip of soup revived my soul - it was such a clean broth but deeply flavorful. I always wondered why they never provide onions w/ vinegar in NY, but I loved the ones that they gave here. The only thing I'll note is that it's an open doored restaurant for all the vibes, but with that, comes flies as well. The flies were a bit of a nuisance, but I guess that's the tradeoff here.
