Enjoyed the food...as usual. The service however, needs improvement! After waiting over 5 minutes for anyone to look at us, asked hostess who had the table. She smugly pointed to our waitress. Another 5 million mutes passed...this was @5:15pm. It was NOT a busy time yet. Several tables were empty. Waitress finally sauntered over (clearly with an attitude .) She just had an edge!!!!! With out of town friends, we went to fancier and more hyped places last weekend, but this turned out to be our fave. No surprise to me as this is my local haunt, but my friends are a bit hard to please and had the Beard award places on their lists. Highlights included: 1. Orange margarita, 2. Meatballs (cooked in the oven), 3. potato pizza (always great, though it was a bit burnt this time), 4. beet salad. In fact, the beet salad was a running joke over the weekend - we ordered one wherever we went (including Franks and Walrus and Carpenter) and this one was definitely the BEST! Loved this place! I went with my 11YO who has food allergies and they were very accommodating with checking ingredients. On top of that, she thought their pizza was amazing. I also had one of their amazing cocktails (some type of really yummy orange margarita). On a second trip here, we saw a family with a special needs child and the staff seemed completely at ease and understanding about the occasional unusual sound or activity. Definitely a great family place, but a place that doesn't sacrifice very fresh, high quality food in return for being "family friendly." read more

Very excited about a new restaurant in our immediate 'hood. The service is very friendly, but so far the two times we have been here it has been painfully slow. For the time being, since it is so new, I am willing to overlook this and will update my review if it doesn't improve in-line with the expected growing pains of a brand new restaurant. Dinner- we all enjoyed the food & had: clams, lasagne, a pizza, & a calzone. All were delicious. We returned for breakfast, and that was even better than dinner- tried the breakfast Stromboli and the hash we couldn't decide what we liked better. We will be back! read more

I think this is the best pizza in Seattle. I've been several times, both to this location and the one on McClellan Ave, and pretty much everything I've had was delicious. Personal favorites: spring lamb pizza and Pinocchio pizza, the meatballs, and roasted beet salad. Oddly enough, they also have a steak that they cook in their pizza oven--and it's incredible. I have found their service to be good--friendly and professional. It looks like some other posters didn't have that experience, but I guess everybody has a bad day. read more

This is our favourite neighbourhood go to place. We love it here. We've got some dietary restrictions in our house and Mioposto is wonderful in working with us. There was a small mixup last time we went in and all the staff (Especially Walter- he's so kind) were so accommodating. We love the zucca balsamica and will be coming back here regularly! My wife had a meeting in the University Bookstore that ran a little late and we wanted somewhere close for dinner. Ten minutes away was Mioposto. Our experience was just fine. Service was good and prompt and the food excellent. It's not exactly close to where we live, but Mioposto is now on our list of "go-to" restaurants. read more

Small neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Bryant. I've sold many houses in that neck of the woods and recognized many locals. Big welcome to this much-needed eatery. We ordered a Caesar salad and it may be the best I've ever had - light and lemony, but not too much so - a nice change from the ordinarily heavy creamy sauce. The pizza was great, the appetizers fantastic. Pretty big crowd on a Friday night and the four of us were lucky to have a short wait time. Aside from the loud table next to us...louder as the wine kept coming....it was a good experience and we'll be back! read more

They have super good food but never order a soda because it's always flat! But other than that they amazing super good food.

Four of us were in on their First Sunday evening. It was later, 8-10pm. The weather was starting to cool down, but the restaurant still had it's air-conditioning cranked up--it was downright chilly inside! Perhaps with the wood fired oven they will have a hard time equalizing the temperature within the space?? We ordered a small caesar salad and a heirloom tomato salad. The small caesar could have been shared by two. The heirloom is a one person salad. Both were good. Although, beware of the heirloom, it has large grains of salt that can surprise your teeth. All three pizzas that we ordered were delicious: Zucca, Pinocchio, and Spring Lamb. We easily finished every piece. My real complaints are the temperature of the room and the sound level. It is incredibly loud in the restaurant! All hard surfaces and a soundtrack that seemed very inappropriate for the guests and venue. The music was more appropriate for a sports bar. A more calming, Italian jazz played at a level that would still allow normal conversation would be nice. read more

I've been coming to the Bryant location from its first day, literally the first day, and have dinner here at least twice a month. The Caesar salad is one of the best in the city and keeps me chained to this restaurant. I've sampled around the menu and everything I've had is above average. I have found the service to be pretty dang good, a bit less so when sitting at the bar. The servers stay on for a long time, so we've come to know each other a bit, and they are quality people! I've never met the folks running the kitchen and oven, but I see the same faces a lot. This results in a high degree of quality and consistently as well as making it feel more home-y. My one complaint is the frickin' TV. I detest that thing! One time near Christmas the wife and I were in, and it was just so cozy with the warm lighting, and the music was on, and the TV was off. I tell you the difference was palpable. The mood was just so groovy and chill and friendly.The ambience in the restaurant is rather lovely, especially after dark, but the TV just destroys it. And for what? I was in, Six-ish, last night, and there was that sick-blue lighted idol hanging above the bar, tormenting the space with some basketball game, and absolutely nobody was watching it. Even if they were, dammit, we're out at dinner. Turn it off and talk to each other instead! Isn't there a place we can go to escape the screen and the distraction and just be together? Anybody interested in the games can quickly update on their phones. PLEASE OWNERS take out the TV. Encourage togetherness, and restore the charming aesthetic the ambience of this space has the potential to deliver! read more

Our expirience here was excellent. Cocktails were on point. Pizzas are a perfect size for individuals. Pizza crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - just great. Pizza with balsamic, squash and goat cheese is crazy good. And comp. Side cesar, great mix of greens, dressing and croutons. Saw the bread on someone else's table and it looked amazing. I can't speak to the noise or crowds because we came in the early a.m. for the breakfast pizza and it was really quiet....but I gotta say, just judging the food... it was superb! So unique for a breakfast/brunch item and cooked perfectly. We got to meet (one of) the owner(s) and he was postively charming. It took a while longer that your standard pizza, because there's a balance to not over cooking the crust, and not undercooking the eggs -- in a thousand degree oven. But the result was magic. I'd say the cooks have it down. I would go back in a heartbeat, and look fwd to trying their other pizzas. read more

The space is cramped and my party of the four had no place to comfortably wait for a table. We were the only people waiting for table. Good pizza, fantastic bar, great vibe. I got here just after 6 and was lucky to score two seats in the bar with my husband. This place is so cozy with the wood fire pizza oven in the corner and tiny bar in the back. Ordered the olives and beet salad (get the beet salad!). I had the bianca, my husband the potato pizza (get the potato pizza! ). Small but good selection of beers, bartender makes a mean, not-too-sweet chocolate martini. Tiramisu and apple pielet for dessert, both good but the pie was doughy and underdone (they cooked it in the pizza oven!). Will definitely be back and will take the kids if we can get there early enough. read more

We live near by and love to eat at Mio Posto. Our favorites are the la Blanca or the Quattro Formaggi. When family comes to visit, this is a favorite place to bring them, because the ambience is nice, the food delicious, and drinks are always spot on! Last Monday I brought my out of town family (my Uncle and 3 cousins) as well as my mom and my wife. I unfortunately don't remember our waiters name, but would love to thank him for his excellent service! My youngest cousin in 3 and not easy to go to dinner with, I'll be honest he is a total brat in public. This waiter however, not only handled my cousin's poor table manners with grace, but also taught him a series of animal themed fist bumps (which delighted him the rest of his visit). He complimented my wife and I on our "excellent" beverage choices and treated us all like we were family. Having family in town can be quite stressful and I am so appreciative that this gentleman gave us such great service! Thank you so much! And thank you Mio Posto for always being so yummy! read more

Breakfast here is amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone. It's nice that Wedgwood finally has a good sit down pizza spot (no more driving to Wallingford for pizza). My first experience was not a positive one. Prior to arriving one evening, one member of my party called the restaurant to gauge wait times. The hostess informed us that a small party of four, like ours, would not have a long wait for a table. We arrived at the restaurant less than ten minutes later to find it filled to capacity. Inquiring with the hostess about wait times, we were told that it would be at least 60 minutes before we got a table. We turned around and promptly went elsewhere. A few days later, we decided to give Mioposto another try. This time, we chose to eat there for lunch. Unlike our last visit, this time, the restaurant was nearly empty. We were immediately seated and placed our order. When our pizzas arrived hot from the restaurant's centerpiece oven, they were tasty. The thin and crispy crusts were not overwhelmed with toppings, making it easier to enjoy the pizzas. One pizza, topped with pancetta and egg, had a surprising bit of spice to it. The other, the Quattro Formaggio, was topped with lemon zest, giving it a nice, tart aftertaste. My second experience with Mioposto was more positive than my initial visit. Still, I cannot say with certainty that I would return. If I were to visit again, I certainly would do so at lunch and with a very small group. read more

I love this place. Great neighborhood spot! Come here frequently with my husband and/or with friends for some cocktails/wine and good pizza. Atmosphere is perfect :) a couple things to note: (1) service is spotty-- I've had some very great servers and others that are pretty bad and forgetful. (2) inconsistent food-- I come here pretty often and it's different every time! For example, the Apple crisp dessert is a favorite but occasionally it comes with caramel sauce ... occasionally the dough is raw... etc. It's a bummer but still good. read more
