The entrance is beautiful and inviting, giving you a taste of Italy right away. The atmosphere feels intimate, perfect for sharing with anyone. It's quiet, with soothing music playing softly in the background. I found the dishes to be delicious, light and well-cooked without being heavy. The bruschetta appetizer and tiramisu didn't stand out to me, but the rest of the food was excellent. Service was very good, though it took a little while to get someone's attention for the bill. I'd definitely love to return for another intimate dining experience. Note: The restaurant is tucked away on 2nd Blanchard. The area isn't the safest, so just be aware of your surroundings when visiting this part of Seattle.

Incredible meal tonight. Beautiful atmosphere and service was top notch. Really impressed by the portion sizes too! The caesar salad, bruschetta, garlic bread and dessert are a MUST. The best pastas were the meat ravioli and fettuccini al funghi.

Great food, drinks, ambiance, and service. The perfect date night spot, rain or shine. I especially enjoyed the Oxtail with Risotto, which was a special. I look forward to trying more on the menu.

There are many cozy intimate dining options in Seattle and La Fontana Siciliana looked like a great place to check out from looking at the photos. We went on a Sunday around 6PM for a reservation and had no wait time. Ambiance-wise, I love the place! It is very cozy and the candle light is a fantastic touch to make the restaurant setting more intimate and inviting. It certainly was great when we went since it was a pretty cold day in Seattle. The decor and how the dining area was set up is very pleasant, and there even is a romantic outdoor dining area that would be fabulous during warmer months. We went on a not so busy hour as there were only 3 other tables dining in when we went inside, so service was fast and we got our food in like 10-15 minutes of waiting. We ordered a couple of dishes, which I'll review down below: Bread + Balsamic ($5): The balsamic tastes great! Excellent acidity and the olive oil gives the vinegar more body and fullness when eaten with the bread, which easily soaks up this tart and slightly fruity aftertasting vinegar. I think the only gripe that I have with this dish is that everything would have been 2x more tasty if the bread came out lightly toasted with a subtle crunch around the crust. Just a personal preference on elevating the textures. Fettuccine ai Funghi ($27): This is a very decadent dish - the cream sauce is heavy and definitely hugs you and gets you really full the more you eat it. The pasta is hearty and thick and gives a nice chew, and gets softer as you eat it. The mushrooms give a meaty texture and this feels like a very indulgent dish that will definitely leave you feeling very full afterwards. Vitello Marsala ($35): The veal is tender and has a decent chewy texture. With how the meat is cut, is really does soak in the marsala sauce very well and showcases the sauce's flavors very nicely. I don't think I have had marsala sauce before and it was very interesting to me! The sauce kind of felt like an Asian stirfry sauce in terms of flavor, which is probably due to the marsala wine which has a sugar/tamarind sort of taste that gives the sauce a complex and pleasant flavor. The noodles are chewy and the dish overall was filling and delicious. I think for a date night, La Fontana Siciliana would be a solid pick with a beautiful ambiance and reasonably priced dishes. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you are looking to enjoy some comforting Italian cooking with a cozy, warm, and inviting atmosphere.

I was told this is the most romantic restaurant in Seattle! We came here on Valentine's Day weekend for dinner and went with the Valentine's Day Menu which included two courses for $75. Drinks and desserts were extra. I chose the strawberry raspberry salad and the husband had the orange caprese for starters. He went with the server's suggestion from the main menu for his main course- we forgot the name of the dish but it was a tortellini with pistachio cream sauce with chicken. He said it was pretty good! I had the lasagna, very filling and delicious. The husband had a Negroni and I had a cocktail called Love Potion, a sparkling fruity cocktail. We also had tiramisu for dessert, and it was one of the better tiramisus I've had. We parked at a lot a few blocks away and walked to the restaurant. I must say, the romantic, Italian vibes are felt right when you step from the sidewalk into the courtyard of the restaurant. We were lucky to get a courtyard seat next to the fountain and the server was kind enough to move a heater closer to us. We enjoyed our experience at La Fontana Siciliana. The food, atmosphere, service was amazing. Would love to come back! Happy eating!

The food here is delicious, decor is beautiful and service is great! I love the portion sizes, it's definitely big enough to share. The tortellini cefalu was my favorite and the limoncello pana cotta was delicious as well. I spent my birthday here and it was an amazing night!

So this place is my husband and I first date date way back when and we decided to come back for our anniversary. It is under different management, but they've kept the menu and the vibe the same. So let's talk food Burrata Salad 4/5 decent salad but nothing that made it really stand out Cannelloni di Vitello 4/5 for the me the pasta seemed on the thicker side, it was one cannelloni stuffed with veal and then smothered in tri color sauces. The sauces individually were great, the tomato was the best but would have preferred a thinner cannelloni pasta sheet Linguini di Mare 5/5 standout of the night it was a great dish, perfectly cooked and the flavors were beautifully balanced Would I come back, unfortunately no just due to their location

I would go back to this cute little place again. The food is good portion and prices are reasonable. Staff provided excellent services. Rated 4 instead of 5 stars due to flies was constantly around the fountain and near our table - recommend they place bugs repellent outdoor to help with that.

I used to be obsessed with La Fontana. I briefly stayed in seattle for 2 months in 2022 and used to be obsessed with their calamari salad and pastas. We quite literally tried almost all their pastas and they had. Now returning, I feel like the calamari salad has definitely changed especially the calamari in terms of texture and taste. It was a little bland and the calamari a little rubbery. We got the shrimp pasta and the pesto risotto but both were very bland. We had to add a lot of salt to it. Service was good and the waiter was attentive. Vibes inside were good too and the outside area is cute but it was rainy so it wasn't used.

I recently visited La Fontana Siciliana for my anniversary dinner, and it turned out to be one of the most charming Italian dining experiences in Seattle. Ambiance The restaurant feels like a little escape to Italy. The outdoor seating is absolutely stunning -- tables arranged around a beautiful, Italy-inspired fountain that creates the perfect romantic vibe. It's peaceful, intimate, and ideal for a special occasion. They also offer a cozy indoor seating area that's warm and inviting, especially great for Seattle's rainy evenings. Service Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the evening feel even more special. The staff overall had a warm, welcoming energy without being intrusive. Food The food was truly delicious. * Risotto ai Funghi - perfectly cooked, creamy, and packed with deep, earthy flavor. * Tortellini Gorgonzola - a rich and classic creamy cheese pasta; absolutely no complaints, just pure comfort. * Bruschetta - fresh, bright, and bursting with flavor. * Tiramisu - the perfect sweet ending; tasted amazing and came with a beautiful presentation. Overall, La Fontana Siciliana is a gem -- stunning ambiance, warm service, and incredible food. A must-visit in Seattle, especially for date nights or celebrations.

Came here for dinner and was greeted right away by the host who I think is the owner? We received water right away and service was top notch the whole dinner. We ordered the bread and olive oil and vinegar, the salmon special with pesto sauce, and the seafood linguini. For dessert we had pana cotta. It was all so delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the protein was also cooked well and not overcooked or dry. Definitely will be back to try the other dishes!

My group and I went here on a Saturday evening. We were given the option to be seated inside or outside and chose the outside because of the beautiful water fountain which turned out to be a mistake because it reeked like cigarettes, but anything for ambiance, right? With the parties trickling in through the night, it was obvious that this is a place people go to for date nights or special occasions. We felt a bit underdressed compared to the other patrons. We ordered the raw calamari salad and bread to share with our table of four and each ordered our individual mains. The calamari salad was surprisingly good and unique. I opted to order the linguine di mare with shrimp, scallops, and squid. The dish was fine, nothing really special to write about. I had a bite out of my partner's marsala risotto which tasted one dimensional and the risotto tasted undercooked. Definitely would not recommend their marsala risotto. We had the flourless chocolate cake and tiramisu to finish off for dessert. The chocolate cake was great, but the tiramisu was way too sweet. All in all it was a very average dining experience that I don't think warranted such an expensive bill.

This place was so much fun! The food was delicious and we still talk about the tiramisu to this day. The ambiance by the fountain was lovely and the servers were gems! We went for our anniversary and they gave us a hand written card and flowers. It was such a lovely experience!

Coming from New York City, when I hear family style I'm picturing big shareable plates for the table to be going back for seconds (maybe even THIRDS). The dishes here were quite small and very pricey, which made it hard for them to function as true family-style portions. That said, the food itself was excellent, very unique and the service was genuinely wonderful. The staff were attentive, warm, and made the whole evening feel really welcoming. I can't say enough about the staff, just SO lovely. So if you go in expecting beautifully prepared small plates rather than true family-style dining, you'll probably have a great time. But trust me when I say they transformed this space into something really beautiful. If you ever went to the old salad bar back in the day, you would never recognize it now. It looks great! My sister brought me here for my birthday dinner because I had my heart set on Italian, and she delivered. From the moment we sat down the service was wonderful. I genuinely felt taken care of the whole evening. For dinner I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo, which is my go-to at any Italian spot, and it did not disappoint. The portions are generous too, which I always appreciate. I also had a Greek salad and enjoyed every bite. My sister's only note was that the anchovies in her Caesar were pretty bold, but honestly, a traditional Caesar has anchovies in it. That's kind of the point! I ordered the tiramisu to go and I am so glad I did. It is my favorite Italian dessert and this one hit the spot. Yum!! Overall it was a really lovely birthday dinner. Nestled in the historic Belltown neighborhood, it perfectly blends classic Italian flavors with cozy rustic charm. The service throughout the night was attentive, welcoming, and never overbearing. I would definitely put this as your next date night spot. Normally I save an espresso martini for the end of the meal, but their Vanilla Bourbon Espresso Martini completely changed my plans. I'd never had bourbon in an espresso martini before, and honestly, I may never go back to vodka again. It wasn't overly sweet and had just the right amount of bourbon flavor to complement the vanilla notes without overpowering the drink. The complimentary bread was a great touch, but the real standout was the garlic, olive oil, and basil dipping sauce. It was unapologetically garlic-forward, which is exactly how bread service should be in my opinion. Somewhere an Italian grandmother nodded in approval. For mains, we ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and the Gnocchi Pepirosso. The pizza was excellent and absolutely better than any standard takeout chain pizza. Perfectly sauced, beautifully baked, and finished with just enough spice to elevate it. That said, the gnocchi completely stole the show for me. As someone who considers himself a bit of a gnocchi connoisseur, these were perfect little pillows of happiness swimming in an incredible sauce with Italian sausage. So the spaghetti arrives it looks/tastes amazing....the waitress brings me mushroom crepes...I didn't order that. So she takes the order to the table next to us. While waiting, we overhear that the same waitress brought to the wrong meal to the table on the other side of us. She brings my ravioli finally and it was so watery...I couldn't eat it. So I asked for the same dish my friend had. By this time I am pretty much done... One thing I found interesting was that for reservation times between 6:00 and 7:00 PM, the only available option seemed to be patio seating. The restaurant has a parking lot, but compared to the size and popularity of the restaurant, it's fairly small. Finding a parking spot on a nice day in Alki can be challenging. The patio setup was a bit surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. As you can see from the photos, it felt more functional than inviting, and I expected a warmer atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive, efficient, and communicated well throughout the meal. For food, the focaccia was the standout. It was fresh with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The texture almost reminded me of something between bread and a croissant, and the olive oil served alongside it was excellent. The burrata was just okay for me. I wasn't a fan of the amount of spicy sauce on top, which overpowered some of the cheese's flavor. The tagliatelle was very good and met my expectations. The seafood special that night was salmon. It was cooked well and nicely prepared, but at $55 for a 6-ounce portion, it felt quite expensive. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu, which was served in a mason jar. We were told to dig straight down to get all the layers in each bite, but it was served with a spoon that made that a little difficult. The presentation was unique, but the eating experience felt somewhat awkward. Overall, the food was good, service was excellent, but the pricing felt high for what we received. Between the limited seating choices, challenging parking, and decent-but-not-amazing food, I left feeling that the experience didn't quite match the hype.

After ordering, you seat yourself and they call your name when the food is ready. We had no problem finding a table for two. There seemed to be a lot of takeout orders coming through. Both pastas tasted fresh and were cooked al dente, just as advertised. The carbonara was creamy and flavorful. The ambiance its making me super happy by the time we step in. very nice restaurant. The food its delicious. But im very sad with the service. The server asking if we want the drink to be on the rocks or not? And we said yes. But the drink dont come "on the rocks". So We ask the server with the beidge color shirt, and he said our drinks its on the rocks. While on the rocks means a drink is served over ice cubes. When our drink its served on beer glass with ice that already crush or shake together with the drink. If the drink dont come in options "on the rocks" we're totally okay. Maybe saying "my apologies, the drink don't come in options on the rocks, should i make a change" or anything. But the server with the beige shirt teaching us that our drinks is served "on the rocks". It looks like he's teaching us back about our order. while our server its the one giving us the options for that. I do feel embarrassed about this. But it's ok. This place its just not going to be to our recommendation because of the server. Also the server should not took the menu and read whats inside the dish in front of us. When i firm about what i order. I think we are very in awkward situation. The server should more knowledge about the menu more than us.
