I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. In addition they fixed a few issues with our master bath shower head/handle and toilet. The company was really great, they sent me a bio and photo of the person who would be coming (which I appreciated for safety and professionalism), and the man who came was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He also had some great suggestions and input on the project and location in the house, in terms of what's best to save money and simplify all the moving parts--which I really appreciated. They arrived this morning with 4 men and all sort of heavy equipment. Oh so grateful for their drilling equipment so they didn't have to tear up my new driveway and walk installed last year. They ran the new main, ,and replumbed everything in my basement. While the original quote shocked me, you certainly get what you pay for. It turned out to be a bargin. Any other contractor - I'd be having my sidewalk, walkway and front porch redone. I highly recommend this company.

There was a description of the issue at hand which was frozen pipes and explained on the service call in making the appointment. Once the technician arrived, the technician looked at the pipes for 30 seconds and said there is nothing they can do till the pipes thaw out due to being frozen. This is something that could have been mentioned through the phone call during making the appointment. However it seemed like a ploy to just get money out of a consumer because not only was I charged $95 just for someone to tell me what i told the company, the technician then offered a space heater at a rate for $550 an hour. I decline the heater, placed my own space heaters inside the boiler room, within the hour my boiler was thawed out. I found the issue on my own and fixed my boiler. This was astronomically high in our opinion. We got another plumber to look at it and he fixed the leak within 30 minutes and it only cost us $350. HUGE price difference! Companies like Plumbwell seem to be in the business of up selling and price gouging. Needless to say, we will not be calling them ever again. What we thought initially was a smaller issue turned out be a much larger one and the owners Joe…read moreand John both came out and put their heads together to figure out this very complicated problem and had every guy on staff here the next day... The team was here from morning till night, cutting out cast-iron, cutting holes in the foundation digging trenches you name it‍ but once they were gone, you wouldn't have known they were here. What looked like a war zone, lol was cleaned up and they made sure everything was up and running and working the way it was supposed to. A very large unexpected expense BUT for the amount of work that they had to do over here, the price was actually very reasonable. The most important thing was the hands-on care, effort and concern and to quote John, "we just want to do the job the right way for you so you never have another problem". We have used Rubber Duck many times and they stand behind their work. (Shout out to Andrew, Master Plumber- SO knowledgeable, conscientious and thorough! A great sense of humor too!)
