I just found my new favorite nail salon! They just moved to a new location on Clement and I happen to catch them when they were setting up for their grand re-opening. The inside of the salon is soothing and looks like a swanky spa. They were SO nice and accommodating. This was the best pedicure I have ever had. Even though I told them that I had only 30 minutes, she didn't rush the pedicure at all. She gave me an amazing foot massage. They even knocked off $5 because their massage chairs hadn't arrived yet. They offered things I have never seen at any other salons like real rose petals and lemon slices that she actually rubbed on my feet. They exfoliated my legs with a complimentary scrub. They also offer Chanel nail polish which I have NEVER seen before, even at the ritzy-ist salons. If you want to get your money's worth and get an amazing pedicure, this is the place to go. I love this place, it's close to home and its clean and relaxing. Just got a pedi and manicure and eyebrow wax. They take their time and they are clean and professional. The atmosphere is one of a spa with soothing music. With every Mani and Pedi you get a hot lotion massage, which is amazing. I have been coming here for years and when i have visitors i take them there too. They give you warm tea or water as you sit and let them do their work! I was in the area and decided to get my nails done because I had a wedding to go to the next day. Anyway, I called before I came in to make sure they weren't busy and told them that I'd be there in 5 mins. I came in on a Thursday around 5pm. I arrived and they told me to pick a color. They had a really good selection of nail polish: China Glaze, ZOYA, ORLY, Essie, OPI, and even a few Chanel colors. I had my pedicure done by a guy and my manicure was done by an older lady. The guy was really meticulous and he did a good job with my pedi. He scrubbed and massaged my feet thoroughly. The lady did a good job as well. She filed my nails into the oval shape that I wanted. Overall, I was pleased with my experience. I liked that the place was clean and the people working here were nice to me. As far as being charged $40 for a regular mani/pedi, it does seem a little steep considering my usual nail salon in the Outer Richmond only charges me $30 for the same thing. So, I can't say that I'd go out of my way to come here, but I would consider it if I was nearby. FYI, they do use Seche Vite topcoat. Also, cash tips only. read more

I was here for a massage once when they were under the name Sandalwood. It was a decent massage. Now it is called Miracle Spa. I decided to take my mom there for her first mani/pedi ever (!) and she enjoyed it. She noticed a difference right away and was showing off her toes and nails to me for the next few hours. I had a french mani/pedi and Lisa was so nice and did an excellent job! I was very impressed. Love this place! 1) The ladies here are seriously some of the sweetest ones I have ever met. I'm always greeted with such warmth when I walk through the door. 2) excellent nail polish choices. There are more colors than I can count and several different brands for you to choose from. I literally wanted CHRISTMAS green and didn't really know if they'd have such a specific shade, but lo and behold there it was! 3) exceptional service. Quick without skimping on quality. I tried this nail spa a couple of months ago and got a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly, and their pedi's are awesome. They are a bit on the pricey side ($30 for basic pedi, $40 for their signature pedi's). I tried it again this week because I was in desperate need of a fill and pedi for a wedding I went to and I was extremely happy. I don't trust anyone will my fills because 9 out of 10 times the shape is messed up, they're uneven, or even too thick. I ALWAYS go to my usual nail place in daly city. This time around I had no time to go to Daly City and I was in the area (for Miracle Spa) and I was EXTREMELY HAPPY with the fill and the pedi (again). I went to this spa when it first opened as Sandalwood. I loved the new, clean, very spa-esque atmosphere and the mani/pedis were very good. The foot massage was good too. At this point my rating would be 4-stars. After the change in management and name, i tried it again, but nope- not the same. I absolutely love her! I go here for gel manicures and pedicures. There is a huge selection of gel colors, which is fabulous, but at times overwhelming....so much to choose from, but fabulous none the less! This is my favorite place for relaxation and pampering especially during my pregnancy. It is a little pricier than other places, but it is well worth the extra dollars. I always get the "Vanilla Orange" pedicure ($40) and zone out for an 1hr 20 min. I bring my Ipod, close my eyes, they give me tea, and I'm set! I like the fact that there is no harsh chemical smell permeating the shop, no obnoxious chit chat from the employees, and I rarely hear any "drilling" from nail tools either. ALL THE WAY from Walnut Creek on my weekends because of the amazing service and genuine care I receive from Stephanie and her employees. Stephanie is truly an artist when it comes to nails (fingers and toes) and she ALWAYS takes the time to ensure I am completely happy and satisfied before I leave. I have heard she is the best in SF from fellow customers when it comes to any type of body-waxing as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I had a much more relaxing experience while getting my facial today. They turned the overhead lights off so there was only ambient light coming from tea candles and soft lights from the wall. The music was more piano and night sounds. Also, there was no struggling with the equipment. Terry was wonderful and very sweet as usual :) My skin is glowing and I'm a very happy customer. My friend who got a mani-pedi while my skin was getting pampered enjoyed her experience as well. I came here one day because it was close to my house and my regular place was full BUT.....I ended up loving the shop and the women in it (esp Stephanie!). Over the last two years I have gotten consistently fantastic manicures and pedicures. I don't do a lot of reviews but I've enjoyed their customer service so much it was time I sat down and gave them a shout out. The technician did a good job on the pedicure itself and she was polite and helpful trying to find me a color I was looking for. But, she put me in. Massage chair that was broken only to tell me they are all broken except one. The place was completely empty so why wouldn't you put me in the one that's working? As part of the pedicure she proceeded to give me a very mediocre and at times painful massage on my right food. Then touches my left foot and asks if I was to add on 5 minutes? So, if I said "no" only my right foot would be massaged as part of the pedicure?! I was confused and flustered and just half nodded my head. I finally had the chance to experience this spa. This change of ownership happened a couple of months ago. The decor and cleanliness attracted me to this place. I understands weekends are very busy which is why I haven't made it in until today. (Tuesday) If you happen to have the day off such as I did on a Tuesday, you will be doted on. My usual Nail Salon was too busy to squeeze me in before thanksgiving, so sadly I had go elsewhere...Miracle Spa could take me. The place is pretty nice and clean. I was so impressed and excited by the multitudes of shellac color options! My nail tech was sweet. BUT the shellac mani was VERY POORLY done. Maybe she was new or maybe I am just used to the 5 star work my usual lady does at Chris Nail Salon. My usual shellac manis last me about 2-2.5 weeks. In less than a week the shellac from Miracle Spa is failing. Lastly, I did not have cash for tip, which I usually always try to have, so I gave a 30% tip hoping to make up for not having a cash tip but the lady was still a bitch about it! read more

Really disappointed. I was excited to try this place, and had received a gift card from a good friend. I had been traveling and don't realize the gift card had expired. I made an appointment and before sitting in the chair for my pedicure asked about the gift card. The people working immediately responded that my gift card had expired and they couldn't do anything for me. I explained my situation to them, and they refused to offer me any compromise. Finally, they called the owner and she agreed to give me 20% off. I had a $50 gift card!!!!!!! I was so frustrated, but this was my only chance to get my nails done. As I picked out the color, the woman helping kept telling me to pick a color they had. I had trouble understanding her and she was getting upset at me. at one point she raised her voice and said "We don't have this color!!!" She rushed me in picking my color and was not helpful at all. Great find in my new neighborhood. The women are actually nice. They smile and make eye-contact. The prices are great. And you get a decent 10 minute (timed on an egg timer) massage with a mani or pedi. What I could do without is the punching. Some people must like to get punched as a part of the massage but I haven't had the guts to say it kinda hurts.
