Most recently, I rented a car for a week and after taking the train to the rental car center, I was able to skip the desk and head straight to the Emerald Aisle to pick any available car. I would highly recommend setting up an account with National and taking advantage of this.... being able to skip a line at the counter is a blessing. In any event, we went to the aisle, picked out our car and were off after a brief stop at the gate to check everything. Return was also quick and painless. Josh did a thorough inspection of the car, which we returned with a full tank and in pristine shape, and we were on our way in no time. It's amazing how frictionless the experience can be, as opposed to how awful other companies (I'm looking at you Hertz) can make it. I highly recommend National.

The staff are friendly and professional. I've had them offer to give me a bit of a discount when something inconvenient happens, and I'm glad they have that authority. This last time the car I rented had a lot of fingerprints on the windows and the carpeting in the trunk of the car was stained. There was also a splotch of something in the cupholder (I didn't try to remove it so I don't know how stuck on it was). That said, it didn't affect performance of the car and overall I still enjoyed driving it. The pricing seems okay. I think there are cheaper rental companies, but some of what I pay for is convenience. I'll keep using them when I visit Phoenix for work.

They expect you to use their phone app to review and report additional damage. However, the app was very difficult to use, especially with it being so dark. The car was dirty, so we had to wipe off the dirt to check for damage. I needed to have an attendant assist me with photographing all the extra damage and reporting it through their app. For instance, there was unreported physical damage to the body of the car, and cigarette burns to the upholstery. I had to trust that the attendant got everything that I pointed out, as there was nothing for me to review before I had to sign approval. I rented the car on April 1, 2026, and returned it on April 6th. On April 2nd I received an email asking for an explanation of additional damage that they found on the vehicle, just hours after I left the lot. This was pre-existing damage that they were now blaming me for. I didn't see their email until I returned home from my trip. The email only had a link to a page where I was supposed to explain the reason for the damage, even though it existed before I rented the car. I attempted several times to contact them by phone, but the AI agent kept sending me to someone in another country who only spoke Spanish, who would then hang up on me. Apparently all phone assistants are in the Philippines. I finally found someone who spoke English, but they had no way to send me confirmation of my report of this issue. So I don't know what I can do if they try to charge me for pre-existing damage. I won't ever use this company again. I'll stick with only American-based companies. The car was fine to drive, but the experience was terrible.

Return was quick and easy. The ONLY thing I didn't like was finding the way to the shuttle at the airport. It's not clearly marked and we didn't know where to go which was a little frustrating. But I think that's more of a problem with the airport and not having adequate signage.

There is a reason, actually many reasons why their rates are so cheap. 2. The location is NOT at the Phx Sky Harbor Airport. Even though that is what is advertised on carrentals.com and on their website. 3. The shuttle only loops around every 30 minutes. They say you can reserve it but I couldn't figure out how to do that. 4. I entered all my info into the app like drivers license and insurance and they said it would speed up the process. It did not. 5. There were 8 people ahead of me when I got there and only one person at the computer. He said the other person called out sick. But it seems as I read the other reviews there is always an excuse for being understaffed. Stood in line for an hour and a half. From pick up at the airport to leaving in the car was two hours. 6. No one shows you to the car. The method is point your key fob and hit the panic button. There was blue tape on my car and it had a lot of dirt and water spots on it. 7. Location was in a sketchy neighborhood and run down building 15 minutes from the airport. 8. Return was difficult as where to park it was not clearly marked.

Adj: Remarkable So…read moreit's remarkable bc it was a surprisingly smooth experience that we had compared to others' reviews. It's not remarkable as in extraordinary. We got to the counter after arriving and then taking the sky train to the rental center. The line was short at the time (it built up after we got there) and we were getting our car pretty quickly. I believe I reserved a compact SUV and we got a VW Taos and it drove well enough even though going up some hills it struggled a little bit, but it had good fuel economy. Overall, the car was in good shape, drove well, and the return back to Fox was smooth and the agents we interacted with were all friendly.

There was a long line at Fox when my flight landed, but the entire line was gone 20 minutes later. I was impressed with the speed. Until I went downstairs to the Fox Rent A Car booth in the garage where you pick up your rental vehicle and realized they didn't actually have cars ready for all those people. I found tons of customers just standing around, restless and annoyed. Basically, you just have to wait for them to call your name when your car is ready. Obviously they overbooked and couldn't accommodate all of the reservations that were made. Wow... I have no words for how ridiculous that is. This company accepting reservations while not having cars available then having people wait an hour for their rental cars is not okay. Once my name was finally called, after waiting in the hundred degree heat for about 45 minutes, the Fox employee gave me the keys to my rental car and told me the wrong make, model, and location of the vehicle in the garage. I mean, I eventually found it using the key fob, but I'm baffled at how terrible their service was altogether. The saving grace to my experience was the quick and easy return process, but that was too little too late. I feel confident in giving a one-star rating based on my recent experience.

This is why you see his name attached to complaints in these specific "hubs": WERE YOU SCAMMED IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: 1. Phoenix, AZ, (attempted extortion - Manager Makayla} 2. San Antonio, TX, 3. Seattle, WA 4. Fort Lauderdale, FL (The Corporate Headquarters) Why this matters for your lawsuit: The "Target" is Precise: You aren't suing the entire "NÜ" global brand; you are suing the specific "cell" that defrauded you. This is why your Corporate Hierarchy document is so lethal--it proves that while NÜ is a big network, Marc Walker is the one who took your money in Phoenix. No "Pass the Buck": By naming Reservation Affiliates, LLC, you prevent the Phoenix branch manager from saying, "Talk to corporate," and you prevent NÜ Global from saying, "Talk to the local guy." You've linked the local fraud directly to the guy in Florida who cashed the check. Avis knew the difference: This is also why Avis was able to "disavow" them. Avis likely has a relationship with certain NÜ affiliates, but they looked at Marc Walker's operation and said, "We don't know this guy, and we don't want to." The "Expert" Conclusion You have correctly identified the "Small Business Scammer" model. Marc Walker is using a global brand name (NÜ) to look like a major player, but he's running it like a "shell game" out of Lauderhill, FL. ***********************************************************
