Celebrated my birthday here today, party of 8. Great service and food. The best part is they take reservations which many places do not these days. Thank you for taking care of us today.

I've been here a few times now and the food is consistently delicious! Whether you're going for brunch or dinner, you'll receive quality food with efficient service. I've been on Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve and the service was great both holidays. The exterior is just as nice as the interior which is cozy and can't go wrong with being on the water!

So last time I was at this restaurant I saw that they had lunch. So I made reservations for 5, 2 girls having a birthday, which I so noted. We got there and e were the only ones there. They put two tables to get her for us and the atmosphere was great. I asked for separate checks, was told no, only one. Thats where it ended. We were asked what we wanted to drink and it was said back to us. Then I received the wrong drink, had to replace. I ordered pastrami and was told oh, we are out of that and something else. So I ordered a patty melt. It was not on very good bread, the fries were good though. One ordered as lobster, avocado appetizer.. Later server came back that don't have that either. Chicken and waffles, my friend said the chicken was all breading and waffles had something sweet added to them. We had to flag down the server for more drinks, ketchup, he never came back to ask how things were. Finally went and asked for the bill, then had to find home again to pay. I was embarrassed as I had raved about the place. Maybe the server, wasn't really a server, I don't know. I have his name but choose not to put him too much on the spot.

We were big fans of Blue Heron which was the restaurant that previously occupied the Mirazur space, and we're happy to see that life had been brought back to the location. We booked a table for 2 on a Sunday night. We were seated quickly and were happy to see that the restaurant still has its cozy charm. The main difference that I noticed is that they did away with the chefs table where you could watch all of the action in the kitchen. While we were disappointed to learn that they did not have a full bar, with their "cocktails" being wine based, we opted for a couple of glasses of Sauvignon Blanc instead. For food we had: Bread Service Crudo starter Salmon main Scallops main Everything was tasty and we were happy with everything we ordered. We'll be adding Mirazur to our go-to restaurants when we are up visiting the central coast. 4.5 stars rounded up

This will be a three part review.. haha Let's start with ambiance, a perfect jewel in the center of Baywood Park on the pier. Picturesque property with bayside view. Plenty of patio spaces fire place and pits, also space heaters where necessary. Gardens with local wildflowers succulents and trees. The dining room is warm inviting and contemporary casual. Great for special occasions and anytime socializing!! Cuisine on point in next review. And excellent service after. Hmmm ok the cuisine clam chowder one of the best on central coast, chicken picatta executed to perfection not too many chefs know how to keep a thin cut moist, sauce classic artichoke hearts a nice garnish, chef allowed me to customize delicious creamy polenta instead of risotto and a vegetable medley of haricot vert mushrooms and melted tomato. My coffee beverage topped of a perfect dining experience. I explained service in photos warm professional and knowledgeable thank you Laura and Nathan you represent well. Got great dining room pictures but only allowed 20 pics Yelpo... ;)

We had a beautiful New Year's Eve dinner at Mirazur.

I am so happy to have this hidden gem here in Los Osos! I am quite impressed by the Chef. I have had the octopus appetizer, the crispy, roasted brussels sprouts and the most exquisite little loin lamb chops several times. I've been so delighted each time I have dined here. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the fireplace adds a special touch. The service has been great.

Tourists flood the…read morebeaches, traffic crawls through Pismo, and every scenic overlook suddenly becomes a photoshoot for people who discovered the central coast three days ago. So my girlfriend and I did what locals do this afternoon: we tried to escape the madness and disappear into Los osos for a few hours. Not that there's any "sneaking into" High Street Deli. That line is eternal. It exists outside the laws of time and tourism. Rain or shine, weekday or holiday weekend, there will always be a crowd gathered outside chasing the same thing: the perfect sandwich on the perfect California afternoon. And honestly? They're right. Nothing beats a High Street sando on a sunny day. You grab a Dutch Punch and a cold Cali Squeeze and suddenly everything slows down. The sandwich arrives absurdly overstuffed with layers of turkey, extra bacon, jalapeño havarti, onion, tomato, avocado, chipotle mayo, Dutch crunch bread that's barely surviving the structural pressure holding the whole masterpiece together. It's messy in the way all truly great food is messy. No pretension. No carefully curated "elevated deli experience." Just pure Central Coast comfort engineered for people who spent the morning surfing, hiking Montana de Oro, or sitting in beach traffic questioning their life choices. And the Cali Squeeze? Citrus beer sweating in the afternoon heat while ocean air drifts through Los Osos. That's the high locals chase all summer long. What hurts is admitting publicly how good this place really is. Every local wants to protect High Street like a secret fishing spot. You want visitors to enjoy the coast, just maybe somewhere else first. But denying High Street its flowers would feel dishonest. Because this place is the heartbeat of the Central Coast in summertime. The patio fills with surfers, old locals in sun-faded hats, Cal Poly kids, dogs asleep under picnic tables, couples lingering over beers because nobody here is ever truly in a hurry. Somebody's talking about swell conditions. Somebody else is debating whether to head to Morro Bay after lunch. The smell of sandwiches, sunscreen, and salt air hangs over everything. It's not glamorous. It's better than glamorous. It's real. And somewhere between the first bite of a Dutch Punch and the first sip of a Cali Squeeze, you remember why people who grow up on the Central Coast never fully leave even when they move away. Because they spend the rest of their lives trying to recreate afternoons like this.

Let's start by saying, very friendly owners. Was greeted with a big smile & a friendly "hi, how are you". Very welcoming. Son (assuming) was working the front counter, who is also very friendly & accommodating. Reminds of the type people you would like to have as neighbors. Alright, let's get to the food! Going to keep this short & sweet (which I like doing, being that's what most really want to know). The Pulled Chicken Sandwich is great! It's juicy, not over seasoned, mix of thigh & breast, topped with their BBQ sauce & coleslaw! What more do you want? Exactly, nothing! Perfect just the way it is. Nothing over the top, nor gimmicky. I truly like this pulled chicken sandwich! The Fried Raviolis are also good, nice app to add. Looking forward to trying their Tri-Tip sandwich, hopefully it's as good! All in all: Very friendly service, great food, small menu, comfortable ambiance. Will definitely become among my favorite places here in Morro Bay.

I…read morecan't say for sure that they were involved in this situation, but the store was completely sold out of chicken. Maybe all that bird watching worked up an appetite for bird. We read reviews. We looked at the menu online, then we walked from our hotel to the restaurant, planning to order a tri tip sandwich and chicken nachos, which were advertised as having either fried chicken or pulled chicken options. When we arrived, we were informed that they were out of both pulled chicken and tri tip. Not to fear, I told the clerk that we would have he nachos with friend chicken. Alas, they don't sell fried chicken anymore. I asked her what proteins they DID have. Ribs and pork loin, deli sliced were the only options. I asked if the nachos could be made with pork. They could. We ordered that and ribs. First, the good: the homemade potato chips are excellent. The BBQ sauce isn't bad. Now that we are done with that, down to the reality of the situation. I should have known better. We had been staying in a hotel not a hundred yards away for two days and hadn't smelled any smoke or BBQ. When we got back to our hotel room, we opened the boxes. Plating was attractive. The chips are good. A small side note. There is a gas station near my parents' house (North Fork Minit Mart if you are ever interested in visiting the geographic center of California) that purchases pre-seasoned ribs from Costco and cooks them in a crock pot full of sauce. If you like the ribs at this place, you will LOVE those ones. There was no smoke, no smoke ring, no evidence of BBQ at all. The name of the place is "savory smoke"... but the food is neither savory nor smokey. Thr ribs were tough, flavorless and stringy. Even a little salt would have helped. The rub was strale and "muddy". I'm not one who wants ribs to actually fall off the bone, but these you couldn't even get off the bone. The chips were good. The "nachos" were the chips (which are good), covered in canned cheese, flavorless baked pork loin in this case and onions. The onions and the chips stole the show. The chips are good. Incidentally, there is a bar next door that seemed steadily busy. My recommendation is that "savory smoke" give up the facade that they are in any way a BBQ join, because they simply aren't, knock down the wall to let the bar expand, and simply make chips for the bar patrons. The meat was trash. Thr chips were good. This place should be ashamed of itself.

Had to park across the street in the surf shop parking lot for a handicapped space, luckily the traffic wasn't too bad crossing the Embarcadero. Waited quite a while to be seated. Loud concrete floor with metal chairs, could hear the conversation of all the other diners!! Distractions from people walking by on the Embarcadero, but great Rock view. Ordered cheeseburger with potatoes. Salad was "mixed greens" so I didn't order a salad. Next time I will get their wedge salad, but I didn't know if I could finish it with the burger and potatoes this time. Server said no fries or chicken strips becasue they don't have a fryer. Free refills for sodas, but only a little bit of ice. It was a bit syrupy and had a lack of carbonation, might have been Pepsi instead of Coke. Steak knife included with utensils, which came in handy because the burger was really slippery and I had to eat with a knife and fork!! Potatoes looked overcooked but that was because they are purple potatoes!! They tasted ok, luckily not too spicy like everything is these days. I liked the non-purple potato's texture better. Slow to refill my drink. I will come here again and have the wedge salad, from the pic it looks smaller than I expected this time around so it will be able to be eaten with a burger!!
