Took my cat to her Vet in Dublin and by the time everything was done it was close to 5 pm. I'm a late riser and usually eat my first meal by afternoon, but it was late even by my schedule. I was hungry and hoping to eat something substantial. A quick check showed Mirchi Cafe a few hundred feet away, which made me so happy because anyone who's had the Nashta(breakfast) plate there will tell you that's it's an excellent way to break your fast. I went in and got the plate but they were out of Shami (the meat patties), so I had to make do with potato patties. The plate comes with two eggs cooked your way or as an omelet, a whole wheat flatbread , two meat or potato patties and Chai. It was super hot today and the inside could have been cooler temperature wise, but all was forgotten as soon as the plate of food and tea appeared before me(which was quick btw). Paratha (flatbread) was great texture wise and the omelet was also fluffy and flavorful. The potato patties were incredibly crunchy on the outside and perfectly spiced and soft on the inside. The chai was so good it should have its own review. All in all what a great first meal to a whole day of fasting. Restaurent was clean and the restroom and its floors were just wiped down when I went to use it. Shaukat who took my order was super nice and friendly, and the other guy who brought my food over was also efficient and polite. read more

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. Ample parking as it's part of a complex. As we entered we were given menus and told we could sit where we would like. There is indoor and patio seating - we sat in a shaded area on the patio side. A server came to our table and we ordered the malai garlic noodles and nashta plate. The food took about 15 minutes to come but it was worth the wait! The noodles were so creamy and delicious and the shammi kebab was melt in your mouth good! While we were seated no one checked in on us and once we were done eating we waited for someone to come by with the bill / ask for boxes. We weren't in a rush as we were chatting but then we watched someone get their food and subsequently pay during this time. We finally went to the register and paid. I saw a TikTok showcasing their chicken Caesar salad wrap and knew I had to give it a try! I called in my order, and it was ready for pickup within 10 minutes. The man at the register was kind and helped me right away when I walked in. The wrap was a great portion and came with fries that were perfectly seasoned with a nice little kick. While I wouldn't necessarily call it a Caesar wrap since it didn't really have that classic Caesar flavor, it was still an enjoyable salad wrap overall. The combo was also a pretty good value at around $16. It was nice supporting a local business here in Dublin, and I'd definitely come back to try some of their other menu items! read more

Delicious! I used to come here a lot when I was younger and my family decided to go down memory lane! The Harry Potter artwork that my sister and I were obsessed with was still there The food was delicious. My favorite was the garlic cheese naan with chicken tikka masala. Such friendly and attentive service, a fun fusion menu, and plenty of seating at Mirchi! After seeing a Tiktok about Mirchi serving up spice bags (like those found in Ireland and the UK), I had Mirchi high on my bucket list of spots to try in the Bay. We came with a group of friends and it was easy to get a spot and then order. Their menu is pretty extensive and also great for picky eaters since they have burgers and pizza in both traditional and Indian/Desi/Pakistani fusion, which I thought was so fun! I ordered the spice bag since I was craving it after living in Europe, and got to try a few of my friend's orders as well. The chicken roll was flaky and came with a spicy ranch, the CTM fries were a delicious fusion of loaded fries and chicken tikka masala, the garlic naan cheese bread was exactly that with chicken tikka masala sauce (the execution was a bit similar to a roti dip but it was delicious), and the garlic butter noodles with the chicken tikka masala sauce was a fusion I didn't know I needed. The spice bag was delicious as well- full of seasoning and spices, crunchy fries, peppers, fried chicken bites, and their take on the curry sauce. I thought it was a bit tomato-ey but it worked well- I would prefer a little more curry-forward flavor, but the other foods were so tasty! Parking was super easy and we were even able to pay and split the tab according to our orders when our server came to us, and that alone deserved 5 stars. (If Europe could do it, why can't we??) I commented on one of their TikToks saying I've been meaning to try it, but just haven't been in the area in Dublin, specifically, so when I was out there this weekend, I finally tried it out and made the drive out. And thank God I did! The place was very nicely decorated and had so much personality inside, not to mention the bathroom was pristine! Customer service was great, the food. We came here on a nice day. Seemed pretty lively on a Saturday evening, most people opted to sit outdoors. The indoors has colorful and decorative decor. More a fast casual restaurant. Order at the counter and they'll bring your order over. The presentation of the food was low key but tasted great! The Lahori burger - ground beef pattie mixed with onions, chillies, and masala - was very flavorful and juicy! It also comes with choice side of salad or fries. There are two menus available. The main menu and vegetarian menu. I like that they have options and was transparent with which items had dairy. We were craving smash burgers and wanted try it out. Single comes with 1/4 lb beef patty with american cheese, lettuce, HALAL beef bacon onion jam and house sauce served on a potato bun. Second burger I ordered a double with no cheese and sauce on the side since it has dairy. The burger was really good and full of flavor. The bacon onion jam is really good and makes the burger. The house sauce is full of flavor and has a bit of a kick and amps up the burger. Id definitely order this again. Burger with an Indian flair was a first and won't be the last. I did knock off one star since my double had the house sauce on it but was easily wiped off since one of us can't have dairy. Mirchi Fries are seasoned with Mirchi's spicy masala spice. Fries were hot, fresh, crispy and not greasy. These have a spicy kick so if you can't handle spice I'd say no seasoning. Main dining area isn't as spacious as the outside patio area but a nice spot on a nice warm day to dine in if weather permits. Employees checked on patrons often. Lots of stuff on the walls to look at. There's a shared parking lot and can fill up pretty quick at certain times. Overall good food and customer service! I stopped by Mirchi this evening and honestly, this place just keeps getting better. We come here all the time and it is always such a great experience. I got the crispy chicken burger with spicy ranch fries and it was amazing. The burger had the perfect mix of cheese, lettuce, onion, and mayo. And the fries? Drizzled with ranch and buffalo sauce. Perfect combo. My husband ordered the black pepper chicken with the nimbu pani freeze, and we grabbed a kids pizza for the little one. Everything hit the spot. My go to drink is always the Indian cold blended coffee. If you know, you know. I have also tried their paratha wrap and it tastes exactly like something my mom would make at home. This spot has become a new go-to for me and my best friend! We loved the food and atmosphere so much the first time that we have repeatedly been back. We try to get new dishes every time we go back, and we can say that you can't go wrong with any dishes. The fried chicken is delicious, and one of our new favorites is the Malai garlic chicken noodles. What a gem of a place, small family run family restaurant in downtown Dublin and another location in Fremont. Another day we'll visit the Fremont location. Back to the Dublin spot, we were passing through and decided to check this place out. Wow, I don't get too excited for fried chicken, but this place has some of the best breaded, best tasting fried chicken, non-greasy and full of flavor and moist chicken! We ordered a little bit of everything, traditional Indian cuisine, delicious Tikka masala and chicken garlic noodles. The entire menu seems to have a hit after hit! The chicken and waffles were delicious, with flavorful tasting waffles. The staff were awesome and made us feel welcome and part of the family right away. Came here often but some services changes. Bring your own water the water serve to you is water. At times it feels like they want you to eat and leave ASAP. The staff is standing by your side at the table and seeing how much tip is added. At times you ask for a receipt and may not be given. I got overcharged 2x, even at the last visit. It was our friends turn to choose the restaurant, and she gave us the choice of Mirchi Cafe and a place in Danville. Both menus were very different from each other, but this one really intrigued us. When we walked in, the order taker asked if we were ordering to eat in or take out. We said eat in and he handed us menus and told us to take any table. We chose one outside and he brought us set-ups and ice water. Once we sat, we never got up again, so we missed out on the ambiance. It was perfect for conversation though. He asked if we had any questions and confirmed that the items we were looking at were amongst the best sellers. Mind you, the menu is not huge, so that helped a bit. Our friend had had several items as take out but had never eaten in before. She also helped guide us. Mango Sprite, Strawberry Sprite and Mango Milkshake - 5 - they enjoyed their drinks but I loved my Mango Shake. Not too sweet, not too thick, plenty of whipped cream. Yumm! Cheesy Garlic Naan - 5 - I can't remember ever having cheese with my naan but this was simply delicious. Garlic Chicken Noodles - 5 - I can see coming here just for this dish. I'm a noodle freak and these were excellent. The chicken was also outstanding. Chicken Tikka Masala - 5 - I can also see myself stopping by just for a whole pizza. Fried Chicken - 5 - Upon presentation, the crust looked very dark but it was perfectly crunchy. This chicken tasted like chicken and not like it had been brined just for flavor. No salt bomb here. Just good eatin'. Tiramisu - 4 - I want to say that this was a perfectly good version of Tiramisu. However, while dining at a little Italian restaurant in London, I had the best version ever and I highly doubt that anyone will ever come close to that iteration of this wonderful dessert. Service was great. Our server came by several times to check on us and make sure we had enough water. He also brought us boxes as he checked on our desire for dessert. Overall, we loved what we had. Even our friend admitted that while what she had eaten in the past was good, the experience of eating here tasted even better. This restaurant is definitely slept on i have no idea why it hasn't went viral online and packed with people. Clean food and everything made is made in house. Their meat supply is from their own meat shop so it is definitely fresh. I ordered the chicken tikka masala fries, it was fried perfectly. Crispy light well fry on the outside, soft on the inside. Once the tikka masala soaks in after awhile it just makes it so much better. I also got the tandoori chicken wings and that rub was helllllllla good. I have been following them on Tiktok for years now and finally got to come in and try it. The restaurant was empty when we came in so there was no wait and it's very casual. We got the malai garlic noodles, crispy chicken burger, and cheesy garlic naan. This is definitely indulgent comfort food and not the healthiest, but it was great! The ctm fries were great, crispy chicken burger was hot and fresh. Just felt like the overall flavor profile from the three things we chose were very similar. Mirchi is a long time staple in Fremont and I was interested in trying their second Dublin location. The story around Mirchi is beautiful- the owner created a restaurant representing the cultural blend between American and Pakistani culture in her own marriage and expressed it in her fusion menu. It's full of American burgers, pizzas, and fries flavored with south Asian spices. We shared a smash burger with a side of madrasa fries, a cheesy garlic naan with CTM sauce, a mango lassi, and ended with a chai to-go. The smash burger and mango lassi were GREAT. I would definitely go back for those and Mirchi's is now on my top burger spots in the bay (the soft bun is key here). Unfortunately we barely touched the madras fries- the fries themselves were no good and I wasn't a fan of the buffalo sauce and ranch topping. The cheesy garlic naan is also a pass. The dough tasted breadstick-like and the cheese was virtually nonexistent. It looks like the Dublin location is hit or miss with items, so I would pick wisely- but I will definitely be back for the smash burger and lassi. read more

We ordered the nashta plate and chicken tikka salad. We also wanted to get a black pepper steak but they were out of stock, so we decided to stick to these two items and go to another restaurant if we were still hungry. The nashta plate was very interesting, especially the desi omelette, which reminded my girlfriend of something she had in China; the shami kabob was pretty typical and tasted just like Zareen's. The chicken tikka salad had small pieces of diced chicken and masala mix, but the rest was just normal American lettuce salad and ranch dressing so the desi flavors were not very prominent. 3.5 stars read more

RUN, don't walk, to Mirchi!! This place is so cute and the service is TOP NOTCH. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by (who I presume to be) the owner. He was incredibly friendly, engaging, and FUNNY. He made us feel like family. My son brought me here for their fried chicken, saying it was better than my mom's, which I highly doubted...IT WAS. I've passed Mirchi so many times (even have the default happy hour spot across the street - shoutout to Three Sheets) but never considered going until I saw their TikToks. We went this past weekend and the noodles in the Malai garlic noodles were so so so good. They mentioned on their TikTok that the noodles were locally sourced and I need to know where! The noodles were perfectly chewy and carried the thicker sauce well. The sauce was good but I think maybe some green onions or more cilantro would've been nice to keep it fresher and a different texture. We also tried their spicy ranch fries and a 1/4 portion of their fried chicken. The spicy sauce on the fries were indeed spicy, nothing too special. A 1/4 portion of their fried chicken is a thigh, drumstick, and wing. It was juicy, crispy, and cooked thoroughly. They also serve Shasta sodas in a can here, not fountain sodas or Coke/Pepsi. Service was decent. We eventually figured out that you seat yourselves since we weren't really greeted upon walking in. They do bring the check to you at the end but you have to flag them down. Parking was super easy as there is a parking lot and "downtown" Dublin is rarely packed. The business next door has a community food cabinet outside so I'll be bringing by a couple cans to donate when I get Mirchi's noodle dishes next time. We also sat in their covered outdoor dining patio for more air and their outdoor heaters were delightfully on. read more
