Love Dish N Dash! Been to the Milpitas location a few times based on a friend's recommendation and was so excited for this restaurant to open! Stopped by on Sunday to pick up an online order. My order was ready within 15 minutes and was packed & ready by the time I went in. The shared parking lot had plenty of spaces available. Interior was large and clean and similar to other locations. Food portions were generous and tasted fresh! Items ordered: Beef hummus- Large order that came with pita. Delicious and great for sharing! Medium salad with chicken shawarma, veggies, and babaganoush- Fresh salad, plenty of protein, and loved the sides.

The lamb kabobs, garlic dip, babaganoush, hummus, fries, were all great! Their sauces that you can grab / pump on the side are also quite good.

I dropped in to pick up an early dinner on a Saturday night. I had called in my order and to my surprise later learned that they were so busy they had temporarily stopped online and phone orders that night after my order. There was a long line of customers queued to order at the counter and tables were noticeably full of patrons with well presented dishes and a wide array ot types of food. Lots of large groups. Festive atmosphere with everyone enjoying the food and conversation. Simple and modern decor and a large dining space. We had a variety of mixed plates: - Kufta with Freekeh, Falafel and Salad - Chicken Kebab with Freekeh, Salad and Babaghannouge - Tabsi Kufta with Basmati Rice The portions were generous and quite tasty! We will definitely be back!

A casual spinoff of the legendary Sunnyvale restaurant, Dish N Dash features a modern, Californian take on Middle Eastern cuisine in a counter-service setting with plentiful seating. We started with the Veggie Delight, a mezze platter of falafel, hummus, tabouli, babaghanouge, red pepper-walnut dip, feta, greens, and pita slices. My personal favorites were the creamy hummus and crispy falafel, but every component was delicious! Another highlight of the menu was their vibrant salads, made of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, herbs, olives, and za'atar lavash chips. The fresh and crunchy salad was topped with a corn-edamame salsa and pulled sumac chicken, tender pieces of chicken spiced with citrusy sumac. But the most unique, authentic Middle Eastern dishes on the menu were their entrees, including the Tabsi, an acidic mixture of stewed eggplant, onions, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, and dry lime in a mild curry, topped with a tender fillet of salmon. Their signature dish was the Mansaf, tender chunks of lamb cooked in a creamy spiced aged yogurt sauce, which had a deep, umami, tangy flavor. Both dishes came with freekeh, cracked wheat with a smokey aroma. Every dish we had here delicious, and everything came at a decent value with friendly service too!

So glad we finally got a Dish n Dash! Ordered for pickup on a weekday and it was crowded in the parking lot (a good sign!). Husband said it was well organized inside in terms of where to pick up to-go orders, etc. The food was delicious, and the portions were hearty. Hubs got the Beriani Dajaj. It was surprisingly saucy. We thought it would be a drier dish, but it was very good nonetheless. And the extra sauce was so good mixed with the rice. I got the grilled chicken shawarma with garlic dip and tabouli as my sides. It was also very good and so flavorful. I do wish there'd been a little more tabouli, but the garlic dip was fantastic. The shawarma comes with edamame corn salsa, which tasted fine but the I didn't care for the textures. I'd probably ask to exclude the next time if I remember. It wasn't a deal breaker, just more chewing than I wanted. But hey, there are so many other things on the menu we want to try. They even have fresh pressed juices! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here on a Friday for dinner. This is a counter service type restaurant. You order at the counter, then find a table. Your food will be brought out to you. It was obviously busy as they had just opened the Wednesday prior. The restaurant is nice and new. Aesthetically, not as nice as the Cupertino location, but still fine. Lamb Shwarma grill plate - 4/5: always my favorite with hummus, cabbage and walnuts, with freekah. All very tasty, not overcooked. First time trying the cabbage and walnuts. That was a nice surprise and will order it in the future as a side. Sauces available was yogurt, chipotle yogurt, green and red sauce. Not sure what the last two sauces were called, but those are spicy. Chicken shawarma grill plate - 4/5: very good with a nice spicy, not hot flavor. The combination of tamarind and cumin is nice. Hummus on the side which is always good. Falafel was solid as well and good dipped in chipotle yogurt! Baklava - 4/5: solid offering. Buttery and crisp. Overall, great addition to Dublin. Service was very good in terms of delivery and removing your dishes. Will return again.

Great place for middle Easter food around here. I personally hate counter service places because people don't know you're supposed to order first then look for tables because it keeps the flow consistent but I digress. This place was poppin when we walked in. Great selection of food and drinks. I had the kebab which was delicious and the lentil soup...to die for. Hubby had the falafel which he loved and also the portions are excellent because it leaves you with leftovers for later. Pretty good addition to Dublin

Where to start when you've been absolutely blown away in every aspect of a dinner experience. The design of the outside looks really good I like it a lot. When you walk in it's even better. Everything is well spaced and not crowded. Everything from the paint to the coloring of the furniture is well done and clean. They have a few TV's which is really nice and outside seating. The amount of seating is great. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I was able to meet some really nice people today. For the food absolutely amazing. Best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. between the wife and I we had the Shawarma Hummus with lamb. Wow what a dish. Next we had the Shawarma lamb and the wife had lamb kabobs. Both dishes we decided on rice and lentil soup. Both those dishes were amazing also. I decided to try the Jasmine Petal tea and that was very good as well. Best lamb outside of my home we have ever had. I do a good amount of lamb cooking at home. We can't wait to go back again but this time we will bring the kids as they love this type of food as well. Thank you very much for an amazing experience.

First of all, we have never tried the parent Dish Dash, so we are newbies! We ordered the Veggie Delight platter and the chicken shawarma and hummus. We loved it! My favorite was the red pepper walnut dip and the falafel! The falafel was flavorful with beautiful color. The chicken shawarma was seasoned so well- unexpected! We can't wait to go back and try more! We took it home, but we will dine in next time because the place was huge and loved the vibe. Our new favorite Mediterranean place!

So happy to have this casual Mediterranean restaurant in Dublin! This large restaurant has plenty of seating inside. You order at the counter, given a buzzer then everything is brought out to you. Portions are large and the food is good. I had a salad with chicken kebabs. Two sides were included and I chose the baba ganoush and falafel. So much food. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Falafels were moist and I liked how chunky the baba ganoush was. I love the self serve sauce bar and put the garlic yogurt, chipotle tahini and green sauce over everything. I'll be back to try more dishes!

Lovely ambiance. Very appetizing. The food was served promptly, after being ordered at the counter. It not only looked great, it also tasted great. The manager came by to get our impressions. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking. Nice location.

Pretty good spot! Hope the location does well! We got the grill plate and chicken kebab.

Just open, 2nd day. Expect some rough edges. Would love to come back and update. Here are the misses. Chicken and beef shawarma over cooked, dry and tough to eat. Rice was not as good as other store in fremont. Lacking herbs. Not as flavorful. Tabouleh needs more mint. Overall flavors are ok. Room to improve for sure.

To keep it short…read more.. Excellent food. Excellent service. Gluten free options. I will definitely make sure to visit again when I'm in town. -------------- If you want to read my story of how and why I tried this place, read more here: I walked by this place while my car was getting an oil change. They had a sign that said in big letters, "HUNGRY? We can fix that!" Like Winnie the Pooh, I checked in with my stomach and answered yes! I was famished. I had brought my lunch with me but left it in the car while it was getting the oil changed, so I had nothing to nibble on. It was kind of early, maybe 10 AM, and I didn't even think they would be open, but then I realized they did have the sign outside on the sidewalk. I walked by the front door and it opened automatically. My heart started to flutter. So I went to look at their menu online and saw that they had chicken shawarma bowls. I love chicken shawarma. I decided to look them up on Yelp and make sure they had good reviews. I realized that they were a sponsored ad, and that gave me pause. The last time I went to a Middle Eastern restaurant that was sponsored, it was not so great, so I quickly checked the reviews. They have pretty good reviews! One review said that the chicken was dry, but others were more positive. I had a really good feeling, so I ordered it. Another reviewer commented that the rice was so good -- and they're not normally a rice enthusiast -- so when I placed my order, I upgraded my rice from the white rice that comes with the order to the rice infused with turmeric and garbanzo beans. When I opened my order, the bowl was a pretty decent size. If my husband had been with me, we probably would've been able to split it. In my order, I saw: * Seasoned chicken drizzled with shawarma and a delicious white sauce. * Hummus * Tomato cucumber salad * And this yellow turmeric rice I couldn't resist -- the rice was the first thing I tasted, and it was delicious! I can't quite figure out what flavors are in there, but I could taste a hint of cinnamon, and there were definitely other flavors there. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The hummus could very easily be the best hummus I've ever had. I really enjoyed this meal. I really wanted to eat the entire bowl myself but decided to save half of it for my daughter, who I know will also love it. Customer service was excellent. Adam was at the counter and greeted me very warmly. And when I was leaving, they asked me if I wanted hot sauce and then they put that in the bag. Overall, I give this five stars. I love that the food comes in an eco-friendly container. If there's anything that I could change, it's probably that they put it in a plastic bag instead of a paper bag. I try to avoid plastic as much as possible, but the container was quite big and needed to be in a bag while I hiked back to the oil change place. Oh, and before I forget... one of the first things I asked before I ordered is if the shawarma plate was gluten-free, and he assured me that everything in it was unless I was getting pita. And one more fun note -- when I got back to the car place, someone walked in, saw my food, and immediately asked, "Oh, is that from Manakish?" I was pretty impressed they could recognize it just by the look, especially since the restaurant is about half a mile away. Oh...and when i gave it to my daughter...she loved it so it gets two thumbs up!!

The food was flavorful, and they were generous with the amount of meat served. Because of that, I felt they could have included a little more rice to balance the portion, but it's hard to complain about getting plenty of chicken. The service was good and the ordering process was simple. You place your order at the counter and then choose a seat either inside or outside while you wait for your food. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other menu items in the future.

The shawarma was packed with meat, which is refreshing compared to a lot of places that load up on rice or bread instead, such as a kabob shop and a few others. The falafel and fries were solid too, and overall it felt like great value for the price. The only downside was the person who took my order his attitude could've been better. This spot is a counter style ordering, then you go sit and wait for your name or number, can't remember which one, to be called. I got the chicken shawarma salad, it was excellent. I didn't get his name but he mentioned he was Ukrainian. I didn't typically go for middle eastern food. It can be bland. I thought the reviews were decent so I thought it was okay to try. Boy do I regret it. For this being similar to a chipotle the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I could have gotten a pasta dish at an expensive restaurant for just a few more dollars. I got the 50/50 bowl with falafel and chicken. Couscous as my base, light greens, Tabbouleh, cucumber dill salad, cabbage, eggplant, tzatziki sauce, hummus and pickles. It was extra for Feta and olives which I opted out of. It was $18.86. The falafel was good. It has a strong citrus and cilantro flavor which paired well with the tzatziki sauce. The eggplant, the cabbage, the Tabbouleh, the cucumber salad all desperately needed flavor. Everything was so bland. A pinch of salt and lemon would have made the world of difference. I just couldn't taste anything besides plain bland vegetables and garlic. The falafel paired well with these components but bc it was a 50/50 bowl I only received 3. The chicken was terrible. No flavor at all. The issue is that bc I didn't opt for the ridiculously expensive add ons, which would have made this a $22 meal, the meal was BLAND. The chicken DESPERATELY needs the salty olives and feta. However for fast food that comes in a bowl I just could not justify paying extra for something and it's even more appalling that the dish NEEDS the add-ons. I'm from out of town (Tucson, AZ). I understand that the influence of local culture is going to impact ethnic cuisine. Maybe people in this area don't like seasonings or spice or salt. Either way, this was a terrible waste of $18. If you're someone who likes balanced nuanced flavors, this is not the place to go. If you know you like this kind of food, I'm still not sure this is the place to go.

Walked in for lunch and hesitated as it was shockingly not the same and is like walking in to another time zone in a bad way ! We were asked to order at the counter after sitting for more than 10 minutes and they said to order from a minimal selection and we did and got 2 beef shawarma's. The food looked good and the guys that helped us was very nice and we were glad we stayed but the ambiance like third world and is nowhere what we remembered and what the photos is showing on Yelp. Maybe because We went in for lunch ? Is why the place was outdated. Is it different at dinner time ? There were plastic table covers that were slipping on all the tables and the guy was mopping the floor with a cup of concentrated chemical that hurts your nose and what smells like fabuloso cleaning solution as it was blue and he was pouring this all over the floor while stepping on a rag smearing it and then yes ! He proceeded to Spraying the windows etc. and all this with us and another couple waiting for our lunch orders just past 12 noon. We nearly walked out there but we know the food is delicious so we hunkered down waited. While waiting we washed our hands and surprisingly The bathroom is in need if attention with water leaking and the smell of the urinal is unbearable. The flooring will make you go back to your vehicle. LOL. Overall we liked the food but please clean the place before you open and visit the restrooms to see what needs attention. Food is on point that day but have to give 2 stars for now due to place needs work and restrooms are terrible and wonder what the kitchen looks like but will edit the review on the next visit if we drop by again.
