Been here a couple times. It's my go to spot in Frisco area. If you're looking for authentic Indian food, this is the spot. Although I have to say, if you can't take spice, I would not recommend because you'll regret it but if you like spice, this is the place for you! After reading a few reviews I was nervous to stop by, I'm so happy I did! I had some of the best Naan and Chicken Tika Masala that I have had in a while!! Everything was, delicious and made to order which I appreciated. It was a tad bit pricy but I didn't mind after tasting the food! The chicken tikka masala was decent but nothing that would make me want to go back. We order from this place on door dash and we like it so we decided to come in and try it out in person. Service was very slow (even getting acknowledged) The soup came out quickly but the other food was slow to get to the table. Chicken tika misala is very good make sure you get this. The tomato soup is creamy but has a kick to it perfect for a Cold day. Also the bathrooms were kind of a nope for me. The first stall didn't have a seat. The halls smell freshly mopped, the walls have paint imperfections and and food tastes home-made by that cousin with grandmas recipes and a couple cooking classes (eff the degree!) They almost lost points for asking if I was a delivery person upon arrival vs can they take my order but glad I gave them a chance because service improved and food was good. I use the word cuisine lightly--this place couldn't cook up a decent meal if Gordon Ramsay himself possessed the chef. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which, fun fact, turned out to be mostly just tikka-less acidic soup with a couple sad shreds of chicken floating around like lost souls. The flavor? Think tomato paste mixed with lemon juice and regret. The rice that came with it must have been scraped from the rice cooker's final moments--burnt, dry, and somehow managing to be both crunchy and depressing. Let's not forget the garlic naan, which looked like it had been cut from a manila folder. Paper-thin, lifeless, and somehow managed to be both chewy and brittle. A true achievement in culinary confusion. As for my drink? Oh, silly me, expecting the complete order I paid for. Not only was it missing, but the staff seemed to have collectively forgotten how beverages work. No drink, no apology--just blank stares. To top it all off, my delivery driver had to stand around waiting 30 minutes past the promised pickup time. Maybe the restaurant was busy microwaving disappointment. Hidden in plain sight behind the Racetrac on Teel off Eldorado is this gem serving South Indian cuisine. This is by far the easiest 5 stars I have given. It is set in a relatively new strip mall and there is plenty of seating inside and out(it's still blisteringly hot so no patio for till fall). That said the seating was very comfy and well spaced out. There is also about 8 seats of bar seating. We were promptly seated and served bottled water, and sat down with the menu. We kept it simple with Butter Chicken, Gongura goat curry and garlic butter naan. The food took about 8-9 minutes to come out and this is where the experience is elevated. The food looks amazing; the sauces look so rich and smell intoxicating! You have an option of mild, medium or hot. We got mild for chicken and medium for the goat. Each entree comes with a bowl of regular rice; you can get biryani is if you want. My first spoonful of goat with rice was special!! Rich, deep flavors, the depth of the sauce and the soft goat is a winning combo; the naan is thin and crispy vs the typically thicker doughy kind you find. I added some butter chicken to my plate and delved in; and man that rich tomatoey, buttery sauce and soft chicken chunks are the business!! We only tried 2 items but I feel comfortable saying this is among the best in DFW. Value for money? $14 and $17 for the entrees, it really is like 2 meals for each one? I took some home and I can put away a big plate. This place deserves at least 2/3 more trips...there is dosa, move veg entrees, a cashew shrimp curry that I must go back for!!! The best Indian food I've had in the DFW area!!!! The restaurant is clean (including the bathrooms) and the service is great. We came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and were surprised at how empty it was. LOTS of takeout and DoorDash orders but not many folks dining in. We ordered all the things. The butter chicken, the saag paneer, the dosa, the chicken 65, the pepper chicken, the naan, and the karaikudi mutton. It was all outstanding. The naan was light and airy. The curries were all packed with flavor and the portions were plentiful. Lots of food was taken home! Stars of the show were the saag paneer and the naan. All the food had perfect amounts of heat (we had some mild dishes for the kids and some hot ones for the frown ups). The saag had some amazing flavor. Stopped by the place on my way home with my hubby! I must say we were very happy with our visit! The staff was very attentive and super helpful with selecting things off of the menu! I love Indian food and am happy to see another Indian food place in Frisco! The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered Saag Paneer, butter naan, Chicken 65, Paneer Biryani and Chicken Biryani all medium spicy level because we like it hot!! A word of warning for folks who don't like spicy food, they will ask you if medium is ok with you; if you don't like spicy food tell them mild and they will tone down the heat. All of the dishes we tasty and filling. Update: 2nd visit On our second visit we ordered 2 different types of pani puri, 3 different types of dosas, Saag paneer and mango lassi. The entire family enjoyed eating on the second patio and playing with the bean bag toss game while we waited on our food! Again, the meals were served hot and were very delicious! We have been here many times now and every time the two most notable things are the advice and the food quality. Both are super important for a great dining experience and both are delivered well here. The staff we get are always happy smiling and make us feel they are genuinely happy to be serving us. They checked in regularly throughout the meal and smiles never faltered. Now on a food note AMAZING. I consider myself knowledgeable about Indian cuisine and definitely know what I like. Today we had a plain dosa with chicken curry. The dosa was fresh and crisp and my curry was steaming hot with just the right amount of spice. I have been looking for a Indian Restaurant that does good Dosa and Mirchi was recommended by friends so my GF and I decided to check it out. I had the plain Dosa with Tikka Masala and she had the Masala Dosa and we split a Chicken 65 and Garlic Naan. The Dosa were very good with just the right amount of the fermented flavor that makes then so savory. They were well cooked being both crispy and not overdone. The Chicken 65 was excellent as well as some of the best Tikka Masala I have had in a long time. Very flavorful and well spiced. We have been back twice in the last month or so and have not been disappointed on any of the trips. It is a little bit of a drive from Carrollton but well worth it. read more

We went pet early (just after 5 on a Saturday) and were the only people there, but it looked like they were putting together a large catering order so it did take a while to get our order out - which they let us know about upfront. The food was amazing! The butter chicken, cheese dosa, naan (butter and garlic) and paneer masala were all amazing and enough to feed our family of 4, but we got one other dish (not sure what it was called, they recommended it) so we brought that home for lunch tomorrow. We asked how one of the items was made, and the waitress actually pulled up a video that showed the process. For the food...wow! I have absolutely no complaints. It's authentic, none of that #10 can stuff that is just reheated. The portions are generous to the point that we both ended up taking some home. The place is big, with tables spread out wide, and there is outdoor dining as well. It looks to be a popular place for people from the India region. That should speak volumes.
