Hmm, a decidedly more upscale but equally delicious alternative to Napoli. We learned this evening that the Ianuzzi family is behind both locations so that explains why the food is so good. Stopped in for pizza then changed our mind. My parents opted for bacon cheese burgers for $10.50. The burgers looked pre-shaped but the bread looked super fresh. You could see that the buns were not mass produced. The burgers came with bacon, cheese, tomato, onion, and lettuce. They were served with a bag of chips on the side. I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken for $14. At first I balked at the price. It was worth it when I saw the size. It came in a large shallow bowl with a large amount of grilled and sliced chicken and a decent amount of feta cheese (you can never have too much feta). It came with a small container of dressing and a large roll of bread on the side (with two pats of butter). The Greek dressing was a little bland so I added oregano, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and garlic powder. It was still a little bland so I added some grated cheese. It was perfection. I did pick off the pickled sweet peppers because I'm not a huge fan of sweet things on Greek salads. My parents happily noshed on them as a side to their sandwiches. Overall, table service was a little slow at times because they seemed distracted by orders behind the counter. Service was still decent. Staff was very friendly and did a good job. I want to go back to try the pizza. I like that they have beer. read more

We stopped in after a big lacrosse victory. There's a parking lot, 3 dining room areas as well as an outdoor dining area. Happily they have Coke products as well as a bar. We tried the cheeseburger sub and Italian sub. They were served with a bag of chips on house made rolls. Big portion and delicious. Very friendly people. I tell you what the staff has gotten lazy, I just now 11/04/2022 waited a hour and some odd minutes for my $100 dollar order that I place in at 7:49pm it is now 9:09pm, when I call to get a update on my order I was told they forgot the order and would get it started, in the mean time I have five children that wanna eat now and I may have to wait another hour and some odd minutes for my to be done again. If you ask me this place is understaffed and can't hold it together anymore I order have order from here a number of time in the past but miseno's 2 is now trash, I will be returning to Miseno's 1 or maybe AL's or poppa johns. Was looking to order for take away and was thinking fettuccine all Alfredo $15.60 or Penne Arrabiatta $19.50, but could not decide with chicken or shrimp. However there is no option to add chicken or shrimp and no price. I know prices of food and labor have gone up but Spaghetti and meatballs used to be around $12.95 is now $19.50 an increase of $7. I am afraid a lot of people will not be eating out as much and a lot of these places will close. Despite my caution we did order form Miseno's I ordered a cheesesteak with mushroom. The lady on the phone wrote it down correctly but the kitchen sent me a cheesesteak with mushrooms with out cheese or mushrooms. Last night we visited Miseno's for the 4th time. We make an effort to eat here whenever we drive through Carlisle. The food is excellent, served piping hot, and above average portion size. The service has always been excellent, professional, and accommodating. For example, my husband is limiting his carb intake, but loves Italian food. He ordered a wonderful chicken ala vodka sauce with ham and peas, asking if he could have a double salad instead of pasta. They offered him a discounted price without the pasta or an extra large Greek salad instead of the pasta for the same price. (He took the Greek salad option, which turned out to be a great choice!). They serve beer, but I like red wine with my meal. I was allowed to bring my own bottle, and they supplied the glass. Everything was prepared fresh with the salads served crisp and the main dishes served hot! We have enjoyed their pizzas in the past, and they, also, are quite large and very tasty pies! read more

So it was a very nice and sunny day. Next to the custard place. So we went up to order (because we didn't how to do it we were new so we ordered like other places at the counter. We ate at the place but no one really helped us with how they do it so that's why I did a four instead of 5 and the crust on the huge meet lover slice. The meat lovers is good. The garlic bread with cheese is yummy and Rich had the meat lovers slice and a Detroit slice it had the sauce on top. He liked the Detroit better. Lots on the menu even though it is a small parking. We visited here after a salt cave session because Yelp indicated that they have a "full bar." FALSE! They have beer. Period. Anyway...we were quickly seated even though they were fairly busy. It took quite a while to actually be waited on, but our server was certainly pleasant enough. We ordered and the portions were H U G E!!! And....DELICIOUS! Really, the food was fantastic! The atmosphere felt "sticky" - you know, tables not quite wiped clean, just that feeling of "don't look too closely." My friend and I each took huge portions home with us that were quite delicious reheated! I would go back...but it's better to know what you are getting! read more

This pizza place is usually busy, come eat here and you'll see why. A simple cheese pizza is all you'll need. The pizza dough is thin, slightly crispy. The sauce has a little tang to it and the cheese is full of flavor. Just a simple combination, that is a welcomed delight for the taste buds. There's nothing crazy about it, but the chicken was cooked well and it wasn't overly soggy like some places often tend to do from over-saturating it with buffalo sauce. It's definitely large enough for two people to share, and that's coming from someone who eats enough for about three people. It also comes with a piece of garlic bread. In addition, the fries are amazing. Not fresh cut, but also not just super generic run of the mill pizza spot fries.one downside is that they serve Pepsi products, and I'm a coke gal myself. Went with two of the girls here after getting horribly lost in a part of Carlisle that I'd never seen in my life. After finding the highway, we decided to go to Miseno. My father's work orders from here quite often and brings home leftovers which are always fantastic. Anyways, we found a booth and were quickly served by Raechel. She was very attentive, keeping our drinks topped and bread basket filled. I ordered the Chicken with Vodka Sauce (which is a pink sauce). It was amazing. The chicken and pasta were cooked perfectly and the sauce is to die for! It's by far one of the best pasta sauces I have ever had and I think I found my new favorite dish. Well worth $15, and chances are you'll have enough leftover for a lunch or two in the days to follow. We decided to stop in for dinner, we were in the mood for pasta. We weren't very warmly greeted but found our way to our table and were looking forward to eating there. Our waitress went to check for us about a question we had about one of the pasta dishes, and when she came back she informed us that they were "out" of all pasta and noodles for the night. We were both shocked. She gave us some time to make a decision and we thought maybe it was bc they were closing soon, but found out that they were open until 11, and it was only a little after 7. So, for the rest of the night, an Italian restaurant was not serving any pasta dishes. We were disappointed and decided to just go somewhere else :( not trying to give them a horrible review, but it seemed a little odd to us and we hope it wasn't simply because they didn't feel like doing pasta for the rest of the night. read more

Very good food. The employees are friendly. Have ordered takeout twice and was satisfied both times so far.

I went in with a group of about ten. Food was pretty good, but service in the building leaves something to be desired. They took our orders separately, per couple/family, but then for some reason didn't separate out the bills and just put everything on one massive bill at the end. After eating and packing up my leftovers in a box, we sat there for thirty minutes. A couple people in our party were waiting on additional to go orders, but my section of the party was ready to leave, and had been for some time. When I finally was able to flag down the waitress to ask about the checks, that's when she told us she put it all on one. I was not very happy that we weren't informed of this before having to wait 30 full minutes after being done eating, especially when I could have already been on my way to my other errands if I wasn't forced to ask about the checks after 30 minutes. The waitress did split off my section's check for us so we could leave, but by this time almost everyone else in the entire party was starting to leave as well. I would only suggest coming here in a very small group or for takeout only. Food is definitely good. It's just the service that's lacking. read more

Miseno's II (on High St., not to be mistaken for Miseno's on Ritner Hwy by Gold's Gym) is a solid go to restaurant. I have eaten here Often, and have never been disappointed. Wait, scratch that, just don't order the veggie melt sub because they put lettuce on it! The first time it happened I thought it was a mistake, but the second time I vowed to never order a sub again that came with warm lettuce! Besides the veggie melt sub, everything I have had here is delicious. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they are one of the few places in Carlisle that you can go when it seems everything else is closed for some sort of non-traditional calendar "holiday." read more
