Don't waste your money here. The Food I received wasnt properly cooked, was tasteless, rushed and sloppily presented.

Woah! Kinda blown away by almost everything we ordered…read more You can tell how intentional the chef and team here is. My happy hour assortment was phenomenal: one Amish pretzel with beer, cheese, one big old mozzarella stick, one cheesesteak steam bun, and one street taco. They were all phenomenal incredibly flavorful, and this assortment was filling as a meal My husband was a little disappointed by the preparation of the hot honey chicken on Happy Hour. Although the breading was phenomenal, the chicken was a bit tough. The FRIES were divine. I loved my virgin Watermelon lemonade and my husband enjoyed 2 sangrias. We will definitely go back to try their regular menu items !!!

We'd heard about the quality of the happy hour, so decided to visit on a recent trip to Baltimore. We ended up ordering several items on the HH menu (burger, giant mozzarella log, buffalo pickles, oysters) and they were all stellar, and above-average from a portion standpoint. Our server was very good - I don't recall her name, but it was very attentive service, and when she had to leave the hand-off was damn near seamless. My friend also ordered the crab meatball spaghetti and said it was excellent. In fact, he returned two nights earlier without me, so that says a lot on it's own. The interior was a decent size, and crowds came/went - seemed to have somewhat of a "local" vibe. We were sitting with next to the window, so we didn't have any issues with noise, etc. I fully anticipate returning to this place on subsequent visits to Baltimore.

Tucked away on a quiet street in Hampden sits Hampden Yards Beer Garden. Bringing all the patio vibes to this little community. If it wasn't for the sounds of the patrons chatting away, you might actually miss Hampden Yards. Which is nice because it's off the beaten path from all the goings on happening on the main street. I loved the kind of garden look they have, and it was great that Hampden Yards has some areas that are covered to keep you out of the sun if you so choose. The drink options were nice, with various beers and some crafted cocktails. Offering a little something for everyone. Hampden Yards sells a few snacks but the Glizzy hot dog stand sits at the opening, providing everyone with a taste of summer in the form of a grilled hot dog. This was my first visit to Hampden Yards Beer Garden and it definitely won't be my last during the summer.

It is a purely outdoor experience, with picnic tables on astroturf where you order drinks from your phone with a QR code. The drinks are a little pricey and the service tends to be slow, but you deal with that for the atmosphere. Like, I ordered a crush 10 minutes ago and am sitting right at the bar, but I'm still waiting. ‍ The downside this season is that they got rid of the lawn games - there used to be foosball and giant connect 4. That is gone, so now it's just a place to chat and drink. However- on the upside Glizzy is now the house food truck/stand. If you've never experienced a Glizzy hotdog (or sliders), run there right now and get some. They are a delight and the Glizzy King himself gives not just dinner, busy also a show. Oh - and they are dog friendly.

From the moment you walk in,…read moreyou're surrounded by an eclectic collection of artwork, vintage memorabilia, dolls, and countless unique decorations that make the restaurant unlike anywhere else. It's definitely a place you have to see to appreciate. One of the biggest conveniences is the parking. They have a designated customer parking lot in addition to available street parking, which takes the stress out of finding a spot. We visited on a Sunday around 12:30 PM with a party of five and were seated immediately. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and every dish that came to the table was outstanding. We ordered the large Caesar salad, pulled pork sandwich, chicken quesadilla, Monte Egg breakfast sandwich, pesto burger, onion rings and Southern Love burger. Every meal was generously portioned, arrived fresh, and was packed with flavor. No one at the table had a complaint, and everyone left impressed. PaperMoon Diner isn't just known for its quirky atmosphere, it also delivers incredible food to match. If you're looking for a restaurant with a fun, unforgettable vibe and delicious food served in generous portions, this is a spot that's absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Their homestyle potatoes had this interesting sweetness to them that I wasn't super fond of, but that's just personal preference. My partner got chocolate chip pancakes, which were good, but we felt it was very pricey for what it was. Maybe the price is a Baltimore thing--it totally could be. The service was good, we were checked on often and the staff is friendly. The food came quickly! Overall, I would be happy to try Papermoon again if I ever come back to Baltimore, but I wasn't super wow-ed this time around.

My husband made surprise reservations to celebrate Valentine's Day and we came to True Chesapeake…read morefor the first time. I absolutely loved it, from the prompt service to the ambience to the local, delicious food, we had such a lovely dinner. I came for oysters and I got them. First we had a dozen raw oysters from the True Chesapeake farm, which were so fresh and flavorful. My favorite hands down was the Chunky Dunker oyster, gigantic and meaty. Then we had broiled oysters, you know, for some variety! They were fantastic. Dinner was fabulous, I had the scallops and my husband had the fish. We ate every single bite, and all but licked the plates clean. To finish, we had dessert cocktails - the Grasshopper tastes like an Andes mint - and we happily headed home with full bellies. I can't wait to come back and try more of the local seafood on offer!

Great meal at great restaurant and I look forward to coming back soon to try some other food here…read more A couple reasons for this not being a five-star review, first of all somewhere along the way our server left and another server took her place and we're not sure why but once the other server took over which luckily was right before dessert things slowed down to a snail's pace. It took forever for us to get our desserts and then the same to get our check. Not really sure why our server disappeared halfway through the meal, but she did. Secondly, I ordered a catfish sandwich which was delicious but I ordered it with no tartar sauce and our server said that that's the way she put it down but the kitchen didn't prepare it that way they prepared it with tartar sauce slathered all over the sandwich which I promptly sent back. Not being a big oyster fan, I did get a couple of raw oysters and actually really enjoyed them and will be back to have more in the future. My mom had the snakehead which was very delicious but also a very small portion for the amount that we paid. The website indicated that for those who are gluten-free, like my mom, the menu had stars on them but the menu that we had did not nor was there a menu with stars indicating what is or could be made gluten free. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice. We chose to eat outside because it wasn't too hot and we could sit under cover and enjoy the beautiful June weather. It was nice inside but it didn't look to be a very large area inside and could have been very noisy with the high ceilings. Not sure willl try in the future and report at that time. There are many things on the menu that I want to try so I will definitely be back. If you love oysters come here and they won't disappoint. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Aside from the two issues that I experienced, they were minor in the scheme of things and I will definitely be back.
