Great customer service and a fantastic vibe! The pulled brisket was perfectly flavored and cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Freedom isn't free, BUT a meal is on Veteran's Day!!! I can not stop raving about Mission BBQ and the support that they give to the troops and the once-were troops!! I have been to several of the restaurants around the DMV area and I must say I am always impressed. I was happy to see that they pulled out all stops for Veteran's Day!!! I stopped in this location for a sandwich but it was a celebration!!! It was so bright in the restaurant, there was cake, veterans everywhere, and the staff was wonderful. As they took your order, they said "thank you for your service". They were tripping over each other to serve! It was wonderful to witness. Thank you so much Mission for providing a little extra!!! Oh...and the turkey sandwich - really worth every penny. Mouthwatering...juicy...fresh and way too much for a sandwich - heavy on the meat. And if you look at my other reviews, you know about the sauces :) Visit as often as you can - support those who support!

Shrink flation. I was overseas for 4years and the size portion is really evident. Food is still good as i remembered and customer service is awesome.

Pork, barbecue ribs with baked beans and cornbread

Yes, I know mission barbecue is part of a growing chain of barbecue locations. But the quality can vary from location to location whenever I find myself in southern Maryland. I always like to stop at this location. With the Air Force Base literally across the street it's always very cold to go in and have your barbecue and sat next to pilots and their jumpsuits! I have been to many mission barbecues my lunch today had the most tender pork spare ribs. There was absolutely no fat on them, and the meat was like they say fall off the bone! They are big beans are also always outstanding. It's not like I eat here frequently but I probably stop by every 2 to 3 months when I'm in the area visiting clients. Everybody behind the counter is always so nice and with a great sense of humor! I highly recommend this location.

Food was okay. Bbq sauces were good but there were 3 flys in the vinegar bottle at our table so someone definitely hasn't been looking at them to keep em clean. I don't think I'll come back to this location

The bill that supports the $100 we spent!

As always, an A1 place for pulled pork. Sandwiches are sick and sides are just as good. Plenty of sauces to choose from to spice it up

The steaks were were all hit or miss. I ordered medium rare and it came out well done on outside and rare inside, like they took the steak and put an iron press on it to hurry the cooking. The medium steak came put MR and the other MR steak came out medium. The good thing about it though is they were still juicy. The mushroom topping was very salty which made the steak salty tasting. The fries, rice, and sweet potatoes were very good. Sweet potatoes were a bit small but not too bad. The salads were definitely small to me. Wish they had a bit more on the plate. If you have heart problems I wouldn't recommend eating here due to the amount of salt in everything, especially any type of vegetable. Wish the steaks were cooked how we asked but overall experience was good.

The House salad was knockout good. Fresh, generous helping, the blue cheese dressing was so good…read more The salad was cold, after a pickup order, which usually is wilted with the lettuce, and salad dressing warm. The catfish was flaky, but very thin filets. There was more breading, very heavy handed, making the catfish filets seem bountiful. I attempted to remove the breading to possibly consume a bit of protein. Nope, didn't work. No leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I'm sitting here, with 3.5 pieces of catfish, and still hungry. I would not feed this catfish, to a starving, stray cat. I will not be ordering again. Their side sauce was a welcome change from the usual tarter sauce, and tasted really good. I love fresh lemon and it was a narrow wedge, offered for 4 catfish filets. Old, without a drop of lemon juice, to be had. Bummer. The steak fries were so overcooked, and a dark brown, tasting charcoal like. Burned to a crisp with a couple of fresh, lightly tinted, the way steak fries should look, and taste. Not edible. Old, and fried again, who know? Those too, will go into the dumpster. The icing on the cake is the Unsweetened iced tea, having no label, on the plastic jug, and it was sugar sweet. Down the drain with the sweetened tea that should have been labeled, and unsweetened. Bravo for the salad, if hungry for a house salad. See ya, Texas Roadhouse. We will not be returning. $40.00 down the drain with the sweetened iced tea.

I'm in town for work and this place was recommended to me and I'm so glad I went. I liked it so…read moremuch that I visited twice. First let's talk about the place. Getting to the restaurant is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The place is pretty clean and there is lots of seating. The people are very nice and polite. They greet you as you enter and are very clear with how the menu works. And now for the food. Their dishes let you pick a protein with white or brown rice and 4 side dishes. The first time I went I had the beef bulgogi. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture but it was delicious. It was juicy and flavorful. The next time I went I ordered the spicy pork. I have a decent spice tolerance so I didn't find it too spicy. They were also incredibly nice and gave me the bottom of the batch that is drenched in sauce after I asked. It was incredibly tender and delicious. The best part is the meals are filling at a fair price. I'm glad I tried this recommendation and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

I appreciated that they had a small or large option as I wanted a light meal, and my tofu plus two sides was just about right. Options included watercress, a favorite and underused vegetable from my point of view. Their tofu was extremely crispy. I don't eat a ton of Korean because it tends not to be vegetarian-friendly, but this place, in a limited Southern Maryland food scene, delivered some distinctive and worthwhile flavors.
