Brisket was 10/10 but the baked beans 4/10 lacked flavor and not enough brisket. Corn bread good. Service was cool. Place has enough parking.

This is my first time trying mission BBQ and I must say I'm pretty impressed. All of the meat seem to be of high quality. They are not inexpensive, but no Good quality protein is these days ( just stopped by your local grocery store). I tried the pulled pork, pulled chicken brisket and sliced turkey. As a healthy low fat low carb option, the sliced turkey breast is delicious. I was quite impressed by all of the meats I tried. As far as sides go. I really liked the mac and cheese, the baked beans and the cold slaw. I highly recommend stopping by. I hope they open a mission near me soon

Having a late lunch here. The reason I'm giving this location a 5 star review is because all the employees greeted me with a smile. How refreshing for a national food franchise to have friendly employees. Another reason the food was very tasty compared to other Mission BBQ places. Definitely a great experience.

The other day, I wondered why I had NEVER been to this BBQ franchise spot. So, I randomly was driving pass one, & I decided to go in to see what they were hittin on...that's it. . Where I am: Mission BBQ . Location Reviewed: 5506 Cherrywood Ln., Greenbelt M.D. . Menu Includes: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Sausage, Salmon, Baby back Ribs, Spare Ribs, Burgers, Pulled & Chopped Sandwiches, Salads, Slaw, Fries, Green Beans, Mac n Cheese, Baked Beans, Potato, & Broccoli Salad, Brownies, Pudding, & Beverages. . Items Reviewed: Their Half n Half (ice tea/lemonade-came with the meal). STAMP!! Surprisingly tasty!! House made always makes a difference!! Their Black Plate Special (their Juicy Lucy cheddar stuffed burger, with lettuce, tomato, pickles, & bbq sauce $10). DECENT. A tad bit flavorless, & dry. A hunk of meat with cheese in the middle...that's it. Their 3 meat Sampler (with baby back ribs, pulled chicken, carvers choice brisket, Mac n cheese, baked beans with brisket, cornbread, the drink & their chocolate pudding $26.49). The Ribs...DECENT. There was more fat than meat. But it was seasoned good. The Chicken...DECENT. It tasted like it was sitting for a while. Edible, because I drowned it in sauce. The Brisket...DELICIOUS. The lean parts of the brisket were smokey, and a tad tasty. The Beans...LIKE THAT!! Well done, well seasoned, with chunks of brisket in it!! The Mac n Cheese...PASS. Null & Void of flavor. The Cornbread...NAH. It was crumbly dry. The Pudding...LIKE THAT!!Tasted home made, with Oreos, & cream on top!! 'Twas gout!" The employees were nice, and considerate. The food came out fast. The baby back ribs fell off the bone. I probably should have got the brisket moist because it has more marbling, but it was still good. As you can see in the photo we got coleslaw and potato salad (it was just mediocre) but what's not seen in the picture is a side of "gourmet" mac and cheese, and green beans which I didn't think I would like, but actually enjoyed. I'll definitely be back.

*Updated review* Glad I gave them another chance! Earlier in the year I visited and wasn't impressed. Last week (my second time) was much better. This time I went with the lean brisket instead of moist and it was better for me - didn't have all that fat! Once again, the largely populated counties of Maryland, including PG, has banned indoor dining due to the pandemic so just take-out here! The service here is great. I was greeted right away and they are not like Popeyes, I got as many sauces as I wanted! Woot!

An unplanned detour that turned into a happy discovery. The smoked wings earned the top spot. Terrific flavor, and none of that rubbery skin you get with grilled wings. The mild carries no real heat, but the sauce does all the talking and it is excellent. The brisket was moist, flavorful, and clearly handled with care. They offer their own BBQ sauces, which are cool, but that wing sauce is what I was dreaming about. A side of it with the brisket would have been something special. Consider this my gentle plea. Clean store, kind staff, and I was greeted within a minute of walking in. That warmth goes a long way. Would I return? Absolutely. Would I recommend Supreme BBQ to friends? Without hesitation.

This restaurant is located in the shopping center nearby the Bank of America. It's easily accessible for persons with ADA needs. The service was friendly as I was greeted by nearly all of the staff. There is lots of available dining space is you choose to eat in the restaurant. I decided to order al a carte having the brisket (fatty) point and Smoked wing(ettes). The brisket was very tasty and tender; however, the fat wasn't rendered properly. Despite not having a better fat render the slices from the point were juicy, developed a bark decent that was slightly gritty, absorbed good smoke, and enjoyable. The smoked wing was good and I did noticed quite a bit of feathers left on the wing itself. I'm not sure if this was due to a more affordable lower quality product or not properly inspecting the meats they cook presented to the customers. I did have the boba Thai tea which was very delicious and did not make the posted photos. Next time I'll order it half sweet but man was it good. Overall this is not a bad spot to have bbq. Note I did not try the pork ribs today so I do not have a fair review to give them. The looked and smelled amazing. Overall 3.2 of 5 from today's experience. My considerations: inspection of the meat qualities especially for the poultry products. For the brisket at some point later during the cook bumping the temps up a bit higher to help render the fat more or simply trim out the untended fat at the end of your cook. Also though the bark looked good and you had a good salt content just monitor the seasoning stage to avoid some of the grittiness developed on the bark. Could be fixed with a larger course grind without sacrificing flavor. I can't wait to return and try it out again. Thank you for serving me

They also have a full menu including kabobs, biryani, chicken, shrimp, goat and bean entrees. Al-Madina serves huge naan, it's true. I've only had the plain naan basket. I would like to try the garlic and kabuli naan with sesame seeds. Love the Yogurt Salad here. It's a gigantic bowl of yogurt, cucumbers, onion, tomato, mint, cilantro, and lemon. It's bountiful and delicious. We tried the samosas with potato, coriander, mint, cumin seed and red chili's. Very good. We enjoyed the Butter Chicken but it was not like any butter chicken I've had before. There was very little butter and cream present. The sauce was red and spicy. I ordered it as a mild version for the person eating with us. Maybe one could request extra cream if they are looking for a traditional, Amercan-ized, Indian Butter Chicken dish? It was flavorful, for me, though. We also enjoyed the Chicken Tandoori. It is moist, very well-seasoned and delicious. Zero complaints! We really liked the Chana Masala which is great for vegetarians. This is a chickpea dish with spices, and you can tell they have been marinated for a very long time. We tried this on the buffet. The Kabuli Palaw is a very mild and lovely rice dish. It comez with bone-in beef (so if you are serving children or seniors, pull this meat out for them), basmati rice, raisins and carrots. The raisins make it sweet and great. The Chicken Biryani is good and spicy but I enjoyed that it wasn't a fire-spice level. We ate this at the buffet so it was on the medium-spicy side vs. other wildly, spicy biryani's. The Kheer is super-delicious! It's a rice pudding with milk, heavy cream, almonds and pistachios. We also had this in the buffet and loved it. Especially the cardamom notes. The Chai is served very quickly here, so I'm wondering if they have a large soup pot of it in the back. It's nice but add sugar if you like it sweet. I liked that I didn't have to wait forever for it. The spices are just right and I ordered a second one! The service here was very friendly. Most of the staff spoke to us when I requested things and it is like an all-hands-on-board approach. This is why they describe themselves as fast-casual: you can just go to the front and ask for what you need when you are eating at the buffet. Things on this menu which pique my interest: White Lassi (dogh). I looked it up and it's plain yogurt and sugar with aromatics such as cardamom or rose water. They have the following fresh fruit juices: banana, mango, apple, orange, lemon, and watermelon. You can also mix two fruits. I wonder if you can add yogurt because I've and never had banana juice. The Afghani Sheryakh with milk, cream, sugar, cardamom, crushed almonds, saffron, and pistachio also looks delicious. The lentil soup looks delicious, as well as the lentil entrees. When they say it's fast-casual Indian and Pakistani, this is helpful because I've seen words, "Afghan," in titles and Kabuli in a dish name mentioned on the menu so it's a bit confusing. But a woman I was speaking with said the cooks are Indian and Pakistani. Madina is the name of 'the' holy city in Dubai. Maybe it's a similar concept to Jerusalem for us Christians. So there is this whole menangerie of countries mentioned in the menu, basically. The cooking here is the least closest to American Indian that I am used to eating. We really liked the flavors here. I saw jalapeños in a few of the buffet dishes and for me, all that was missing was beer to tamp the spice! Ah well, Coke and Pepsi did the trick for now. Would come back to Al Madina again. It's probably the closest I'll get to the real city of Madina in Dubai.

It's a fact: Mid-Atlantic Seafood can be easily overlooked for non-seafood options, ie where else in the area - or anywhere close ie New Carrolton, Landover Hills, Lanham, Seabrook, Glendale and Greenbelt - can you find at least 8 types of cake slices, 6 cheesecake flavors and 6 pies? The answer is nowhere unless you are at a grocery store or a bakery. I'll go over the types of desserts later. Any entree that comes with sides will give you 30 choices. Which of the 30 sides will you choose?! With so many dining options to choose from, do yourself a favor: flip-thru all of the menu options at the tiny menu monitor to the left of the dessert case before deciding what to eat because out of the 9 gigantic, rotating monitor menus, I didn't as easily see half of what they actually offer. Just go to the small monitor and read about all of the appetizers, salads, entrees and deserts efficiently. Alternatively, visit https://mid-atlanticseafood.com/new-carrollton/ on your phone. Seriously: aside from all of the seafood on the large monitors, you can get turkey, homemade meatloaf, barbecue chicken and ribs. As for the 30 sides to choose from, some are macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and French fries. We loved the mac-n-cheese. And the cheesy potatoes look overly rich but they are not. Really enjoyed those, too. These are classic potatoes au gratin with a bit of extra cheese and a lot of flavor. They also serve diverse varieties of other sides, including lo mein, white rice and cornbread. Not to mention the grilled vegetables, green beans, cheesy broccoli, corn and other options on the massive and never-ending steam table. On the 9 main video screens, you can get more than 7 kinds of fish and choose if you want it fried, baked or grilled. We wanted ours' baked. The waiter recommended to have it grilled because it would take less time and be more tender. We didn't listen to his advice, but he was right. Our baked fish was ok but we would love to come back and taste it grilled. The variety of fish offered is impressive, from ocean perch to salmon to tilapia to flounder to grouper to mahi mahi to whiting. You can also order crabs, snow crab legs and shrimp. Also want to try the stuffed shrimp here. When it says, "stuffed," that means with crabmeat. They have a garlic butter seafood boil here with crab legs, spiced shrimp, andouille chicken sausage, corn, etc. Meow. The chicken comes 4 ways: barbecued, fried or baked and as chicken wings. They have 3 types of pork chops: grilled, fried and smothered with gravy. Their entrees come with a choice of white bread, wheat bread, a potato roll or a slice of cornbread for an upcharge of $1.00. I didn't taste the cornbread on this visit but I'd like to, next time. One team member passionately said it was really good. We tried the mango slaw and it was good but not sweet. I heard the regular cole slaw is even better, so I would like to try that because I'm guessing it's as good as all the rest of their food we tried. I would also like to try the crab fried deviled eggs and the Cajun steamed mussels. Not to mention a lot of other dishes there! And now back to the cakes. They have so many desserts to choose from. I mean: multiple flavors of cakes, cheesecakes, pies, etc. They even have Smith Island cakes, which are a thinly-layered and stacked legendary Chesapeake Bay tradition. The current flavors are chocolate, red velvet and coconut at time of writing. We enjoyed our lemon short cake, the lemon berry marscapone cake and the mixed berry shortcake. Six different flavors of cheesecake, anyone? I'll next try the sweet potato and cinnamon cheesecake, please. They also have 6 kinds of pies including pecan, key lime and cookies and cream. The design of Mid-Atlantic Seafood is understated, clean and simple: counter service, a cold case of desserts and salads, a series of long steam table ms and a small eat-in dining area for maybe 20 people. The restrooms: clean and regularly checked. The staff are all helpful and busy. Good people serving good food! Do consider this a cafeteria, specializing in seafood with an out-of-this-world bakery.
