One of my favorite pizza places. I've been coming here for years. Pizzas are hearty. A couple slices (or 3) and you'll be full. They use plenty of toppings and sauce. I love their varieties of pizzas. They also have calzones, sandwiches, salad bar, and don't forget about their pizza by the slice & lunch specials until 3 PM. (I posted a photo of their menu) The place is small, there's a stage that's used on Fridays and Saturdays for live entertainment, usually a band. Really solid local pizza joint tucked away in a small plaza along Washington blvd. It's been around for a long time and for good reason, they serve really hearty pizzas with thick, dense crusts. On certain days of the week they usually have a live band performing for an hour so, which makes it a fun evening hangout spot. They also do takeout but no deliveries. I've tried their specialty andromeda and Tony's combo pizzas. The crusts are definitely more on the dense side and stay crispy - the bottom can get a little moist if you let it sit too long so eat it while it's fresh! They are not skimpy at all with toppings - pretty good value and will fill you up! read more

The cheeseburger pizza really tastes like cheeseburger. My family is a particular fan of the cashew chicken pizza, just use ranch sauce instead of red. Such a fun place! The ambiance is awesome - sometimes there's live music, there are cool retro arcade games to play, and really fun decor. I like that this is such an established family-run joint in the Fremont area. There are so many loyal customers who have been going for YEARS and you can tell by the way they are greeted when they walk in. Although, whether you're new or a regular, they still greet you with a joyful welcome :) The menu is named after all the folks in the family which I think is so sweet. My husband and his family have been going to Mission Pizza and Pub for over a decade, and I've now been twice, and ordered to-go several times. My preference is to eat there, as the pizza comes out so hot and crisp and cheesy ooey gooey! Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for pizza and want to support locally. Hidden gem if you are looking for a field trip through Fremont. Place is located in a small strip mall thus parking is tough to find during peak meal times. Got here close to 7pm and got lucky someone just left. The place was packed for a weekday night. You order at the single register and it seemed like the person in front of me couldn't decide what to order and took awhile. You can either order/pay for a beer at the bar or at the register and take a token to the bar and order. Ordering was easy. Prices are reasonable considering inflation continues. The decor was eclectic. There was a stage and my friend wished there was live music when we were there. Had a small Phil's Combo and a beer. The number of beers on tap is huge. We were told leadtime was 55 minutes. Our pizza came a little less than that. We were starving so no time for a photo. The small size is just enough for 2 people. The standard pizza crust is kinda thick which I like. It needs to be to be able to carry the loads of toppings. They can do a thinner crust, but I'm good. Pizza was tasty. Mission Pizza is phenomenal. Easily one of the best pizza spots I've been to in a long time. The crust has that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, the toppings taste super fresh, and every slice has legit flavor--not just grease and cheese. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. The beer selection was also on point. Cold, great variety, and matched perfectly with the pizza. We've been here twice and both times the pizza was good. We placed the order over the phone and picked up to take home. Both times the pizza time was longer than they told us so we waited in the parking lot for 15-20 mins. Both times we got a large pizza with half combo and half Tristin's bbq chicken. The first time the pizza was loaded with toppings but the pizza this week didn't have as much on the bbq chicken half. The first time they gave us anchovies, red pepper flakes, and paper plates. The anchovies container had oil all over it and when we got they smelled rotten so we dumped them. This time they didn't offer anything. The pizza is overall really good in taste. The large doesn't seem that big but it costs almost $50! It was $48 and some change this last time. That's expensive for a pizza. I do appreciate quality and that they're a small local business but it seems a bit expensive, especially since the pizza isn't huge. read more

I've been to Mission Pizza many times over the years, but am just getting around to finally writing a review for the place. The people here are the nicest, most patient, and accommodating people on the planet. It's a wonderful family business that bangs out quality pies that I have always and will always continue to enjoy. There's plenty of space here, both inside and outside. The soda foundation yields perfectly bubbly sodas that pair perfectly with any and every pizza slice you will ever have here. They make a great classic pizza with fluffy-on-the-inside-crispy-on-the-outside crust with incredibly fresh toppings and deliciously balanced cheese and sauce. I typically don't eat veggie pizza, but even their veggie pizza rocked my world with their fresh bell peppers, nice, thick chunks of artichoke, all of it. The classic pepperoni hits exactly how it should with piping hot slices of meat and stringy, melty cheese. I love it all. read more

If I live nearby, I think I'll come here a lot! I tried their lunch special today which includes a mini pizza, soda and salad. I can choose 3 toppings and cheese is already included. It's made to order so it would take awhile. But the time waiting is totally worth it. My pizza is fresh and mini pizza is definitely more than enough for me. Lunch special is good till 3 pm. My friend ordered wings and ribs and they all look good. Look forward to try their other items next time. read more

The pizza was delicious but the woman with the gray curly hair was horrible. She lied when she forgot to put my pizza order in and waited almost 2 hours. She never apologized but instead gaslit me saying it was my fault for calling my preorder in later when it was busy. It's sad because the pizza is so good and the man behind the bar was so nice but I can't recommend a place that has such a terrible employee as the first person you interact with. Coincidentally we were the only people left after 3 hours and still didn't get our pizza. The place was empty and she boxed it up even after we ordered with a large group of 30+. Solid pizza. Pretty thick with crust and toppings so very filling. Everything tasted like good quality. Went on a Monday night so very quiet and one employee was taking up a couple of tables making pizza boxes. I think they get a lot of togo orders. They do have TVs inside but also fluorescent lights. Left totally dissatisfied with the pizza. I've never had an overloaded pizza like this. So overloaded with toppings that it killed the taste. We ordered a Marguerite pizza. It had no resemblence of in look or taste of how it should be. Tasted more like a cheese pizza. But it was more edible than our second pizza. The second pizza was half Indian and half Deborah. Both were not edible. The curry was too strong. Overload dump of onions and cilantro. All I could eat was one bite. The Deborah was overloaded with artichokes, olives bell peppers. I've also never had his crunchy a crust, like a cracker below the bread. I really appriecate a crisp crust on a pizza, but this was too much, too thick, too bready. First and last trip, it was too pretentious of a pizza, overkill in so many ways. This place has been around for a long time I hear. So maybe we got the wrong items. We did all vegetarian options. Six of us went only one person enjoyed the meal. He liked the Marguerite because it tasted like a cheese pizza. No photos were taken. read more

Dropped in after a long hike. Order a small pizza (Little Piggy) to share with my hiking partner, then two Pliny the Elder. What a treat! Of course, the treat is finding a pizza parlor that has Pliny. For this, they have already earned the 4-star. I then got another Russian Imperial Stout, equally enjoyable. The pizza, of course, was long gone by then. It's basically "counter service." You place your order at the counter, find yourself a seat, and wait for someone to holler your order. I really like Mission pizza, I will say that if I had stopped going here after my first visit this review would've had a much different score. The first time I came here it took an hour to get 2 pizzas to go and there was no communication that it was going to take that long. I ordered pizza with 20-25 minutes to go on my kids class nearby and and when we returned it still took another 35 to get my pizza. When we took a seat to wait for our pizza there was a lady standing by the door and looked very unhappy. I suppose she wasn't informed her order would be an hour either, also while I wait one of their regulars walks in orders a pizza and gets it before me somehow?? Hand delivered by the man making the pizzas even? But I've since returned twice and the service was much better. I also didn't order to go I had the time to sit and have a couple beers and eat and that's when I started to like Mission pizza. Small family owned place with a great beer selection and live music on Friday/Saturday. Restrooms are clean and the bartender is awesome be sure to tip her but sit down take your time and have a good meal. That's the best way to enjoy Mission pizza. read more

Super crunch to the crust. Unbelievably good. Had to wait an over hour though. Told by other neighbors its best to call ahead to order on weekends. Definitely worth the wait. I removed one star for having to wait 85 minutes for our pizza, which is three times the normal wait. If I didnt love this place so much, that would definitely be a deal breaker for me.
