I ordered a large pizza, and then asked if they didn't have any special? the cashier Zain, after I tap my card says " there is but you have to mention it before" I said I don't know you have a special I'm asking, and he says with a smile "we do 30% off large pizza, you just have to ask before hand..." Like if Im ordering a large pizza, and you as a cashier know you have an ospecial on large pizza why wouldn't you willingly help the customer by giving them the special and perhaps get it back in a larger tip? Pizza was made quick and the chopped mushrooms were bountiful! We don't get Mountain Mikes often but the coupons are really great to help with a lower price. The person I spoke to on the phone was polite and courteous, not all people on the phone are like that, which makes me appreciative. The new At the Ranch pizza is a amazing and loaded with flavor. I ordered 3 pizzas Sunday night the girl told me 20 minutes. When I arrived she said they were gonna be 15 more minutes so I just sat there and waited. The place was empty and they only had 2 people working. The guy in the back never acknowledged anyone he would just walk in and out taking food to someone in a car. At one point there were 4 people in there waiting on pizzas. The pizzas are good but they need more people working especially around dinner time. We all just waited in silence while we waited. Pizza was raw! literally it was cooked about 50-60%. little crust on the outside but complete mess in the middle. If it is kitchen staff then this place is a joke, if it's a nice lady from front (who appeared high btw, with red eyes and very messy hair) decided to be very smart, then this place need to screen their employees better. We typically order a medium half and half (half Hawaiian and half whatever the bf wants - usually combination/Everest). Lately, we order chicken wings as well. The pizza is a bit pricey compared to other places but it's good. I pay for extra pineapples but they always forget them... The chicken wings are good but really small in size. I had a negative experience with Mountain Mike's at 34533 Alvarado-Niles location recently and wrote a review about it. When I ordered for delivery, the app said I was ordering from the Decoto location so that's the one I thought I was reviewing. I was wrong! Today I received a phone call from the owner, Jay, of the Decoto location and we figured out that I had ordered from the Alvarado-Niles location, not Decoto. Jay was incredibly kind and professional and assured me they would never handle an order problem the way the Alvarado-Niles location had. This made sense since I've always had a good experience with Mountain Mike's before (my negative experience was a real shock). Bottom line: if you're ordering Mountain Mike's use the one at 3900 Decoto (five stars), but avoid the one at 34533 Alvarado-Niles location (zero stars). I will most definitely support the Decoto location in the future. Another bad sign: Yelp doesn't even have the Alvarado-Niles location as an option to review. Sketchy! read more
