My half eaten Tandoori Chicken pizza
Joe R.

I tried this place for the first time tonight. I ordered ahead over the phone and told the guy I had a 15-20 minute drive. He told me he would put the pizza in the oven in 5 minutes and it was timed perfectly. It was a 15 mil drive to get there, but well worth it and I am so glad I came here. I tried the tandoori chicken pizza and loved every bite. So delicious! I could have finished the whole thing but saved some for tomorrow's lunch. For the quality of the food, courteous and accommodating service and everything, an easy decision to give 5 stars. The price is right too! Definitely coming back, a great find!

Was a bit skeptical to try this place as it's pretty new and I haven't seen any reviews about it. I believe all the reviews on this page are from the previous restaurant. I also thought the $15 deal for their large pizzas was too good to be true. I turned out wrong because the pizza was absolutely delicious! They have a lot of options to choose from so it was a little hard to decide. We got two flavors in one: tandoori chicken pizza and paneer tikka masala pizza. The pizza exceeded my expectations. I'm a huge fan of tandoori chicken so that flavor was my favorite. The pizza was flavorful and tasted exactly like tandoori chicken. The paneer pizza was also great and the spices were perfect. The pizza was so chewy and soft. They also have a biryani lovers pizza and I've never seen any restaurant have that so I will try it out next time. You can't beat a large $15 Indian-style pizza!

Samosa Poutine, Tandoori, Tikka Masala
Jenny N.

My husband and I tried this spot on a whim when I had a work orientation nearby and we were pleasantly surprised! We both loved Indian food and pizza so we were excited to try the fusion of them both! We ordered the samosa poutine, tikka masala w/chicken naan pizza, as well as the tandoori w/chicken naan pizza. The food took a really long time to get out (25-30min) even though we were the only customers there. I think they only had one person working manning the counter and also making the food. When the food came out, it was warm, flavorful, and delicious! We really liked it!! Flash forward to almost a year later where we finally wandered around the area again and wanted to go back to Naan Pizza!! We were in a bit of a time crunch so tried to call in our togo order ahead of time! Unfortunately, no one answered the phone and it was an infinite loop with the answering machine service. We also tried to order online on their website but it froze and didn't work when we tried to checkout. We finally arrived so decided to just order inside and again, we were the only customers. The lone worker behind the counter didn't seem to speak English when we asked if we can just order with him or if we had to use their kiosk for self order & pay. He pointed at the kiosk so we placed our order & paid through there. Afterwards, he came out and asked us what we needed to order and tried to ring us up even though I already ordered and paid! I ended up showing him my credit card pending payment for him to understand. He then said it would take around 20 minutes. During the wait, we heard the phone ring multiple times and saw the worker go out and forward the line each time instead of answering it. I totally get that he was the only person working and he didn't speak English but why even have a phone line then?? And can the online order on the website work if orders can't be called in? We finally get our order around 30min later and it wasn't until we got home that we realized they got our order wrong! :(. We got 2 of the Tandoori pizzas with chicken instead of 1 tandoori and 1 tikka Marsala :(. It was actually salty this time around as well. Not sure if I'll come back after this experience...meh

Spice of Punjab Pizza with lamb
Nitesh D.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan...I love Indian pizza! The pizza from here was beyond anything I've ever tried before. Most Indian pizza places just put a twist on the circular pizzas we're used to. Naan pizza is a completely different take on pizza. Firstly, instead of the traditional crust they use naan. And, instead of a circle they're made on actual pieces of naan. We had seen this place a few times and finally gave it a shot. We were not disappointed as the pizzas were full of traditional Indian flavors and spices. Having lamb as an option to put on pizza was music to my ears and made my stomach incredibly happy. We'll definitely be making this our Indian pizza spot.

Tikka Masala Pizza

Lots of parking space. Still relatively new so food takes a while. Very quiet. There's no music or loud machines running. I ordered the Tikka masala pizza with sausage (5/5): the crust was really crispy and the toppings were seasoned well. Not overwhelming salty or spicy. Google/apple pay is accepted. Overall Naan pizza is a great quiet place to get a quick meal excluding the lengthy wait time.

Spice of Punjab with lamb. Anchari wing in the back

I've had this spot on my list for awhile. 1 naan pizza is the perfect size for a snack, but definitely buy two if you are starving. (That was our mistake.) I felt like the naan could've been cooked more to be a tad more crispier. The middle felt really doughy and soft. There was really good flavor, but the lamb was too chewy in my opinion. The Achari wings barely had an flavor and you can tell that the powder or seasoning was added as an after thought. The chicken was super juicy though!

Naan Pizza is a total redo of Pizza Hut's space, menu , and concept. Pizza isn't actually sold here. Naan is the designated carb. toppings are desi crafted (think Indian sauces) with chicken, paneer (tofu), or lamb. traditional toppings (cheese, pepperoni, or jalepeno & pineapple) on naan. offerigs: desi appetizers, desi crafted pizza on naan, traditional pizza on naan, milk shakes, desserts, beverages. entire menu is desi oriented. eats: achari pizza on naan (7) -"tikka sauce, cheese, onions, tomato, choice of meat, cilantro" came with white dipping sauce. -sauce wasn't what i expected. white dipping sauce a plus, slightly salty -it's tasty. probably should have went with desi gourmet veggie one. -naan was ok but it isn't a carb i eat often though i do eat indian food. crumbs: -naan pizza is different from desi pizzas elsewhere. traditional pizza dough isn't used. limited traditional toppings here. -the order taker doesn't know anything about the 15% off during soft opening shown on Y... owner later gave me a drink to cover the difference.

The live music and improvisation definitely made for a great vibe, and the restaurant itself has ample seating. However, while the atmosphere was a hit, the food left a bit to be desired for the price. The ordering process is straightforward. You order at the counter, pay, and take a buzzer to your table until your food is ready for pickup. Here is what we ordered: Chicken Fajitas Pizza (14 inch Sourdough Crust) This is a thin crust pizza featuring chicken, baby heirloom tomatoes, chile pasilla, red onions, and mozzarella, topped with cilantro. The housemade sourdough crust was nice, and the heirloom tomatoes tasted very fresh. Unfortunately, the chicken and toppings felt very sparse. It ended up feeling mostly like a cheese pizza. Given that this is priced as a premium pizza rather than standard fast food, I expected a lot more toppings. Sweet and Fire Wings (Flavor Number 2) The portion size was good, and the sauce definitely brought a nice kick of heat. This comes with ranch sauce. However, most of the chicken pieces were on the dry side. They were just alright, and I probably would not order them again. The Highlights and Extra Details Self-Serve Sauces: They have housemade sauces available for self-service. We tried the cilantro sauce and the orange sauce. The cilantro sauce was excellent and paired really well with both the pizza and the wings. Drinks: They have a selection of draft beers available if you want a drink with your meal. Parking: Finding a spot is very easy since there are plenty of parking spaces around the building. Bottom Line: A big shoutout to the musician who brought us through the door. While the music and atmosphere were wonderful, the food itself did not quite feel worth the money due to the dry wings and sparse toppings on the pizza.

How was the food? Fried Calamari- for only being a couple minutes away I wonder why the calamari was already almost cold when we ate it. It was pretty disappointing. Maybe they just had it in the box while they waited for the rest of our order. I don't know. Flavor was good. Pizza Primavera - It was good, I was okay with it. The pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was fine. White Pasta - I honestly don't remember what the name was but it was an item my bf ordered. This was terrible. Like there was too much roux to make the bechamel. It tasted of flour. Not much salt, not much of other flavors. Not enough milk and cheese and butter. He took a bite and put it down. Overall, glad we tried it but we might not be coming back. With the economy now, it's disappointing when the food is terrible for how much we pay for.

Figured it was worth a try. On my first visit, the posted opening hours were from 12:00-10:00, but nobody was at the restaurant manning the window or the counter when I arrived. Second visit happened to be later in the afternoon, about 2pm. I got two slices of pizza, pepperoni and mushroom. Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Luckily someone must have seen me standing outside and told the person inside. The smashburger was decent, and the fries that came as a side were perfectly cooked - they are the battered homestyle fry variety, but not too greasy or oily. I think the food here is good, I just think the posted hours could use some clarity. The website says they are open at 12:00, but it's very rare to actually have them be fully open and ready to serve food at that time.

I get that working there can be exhausting especially when there's like only 3 workers, but there's no need to throw toppings on the pizza like that. Also, the glass that borders the pizza ingredients is bent. I have no idea how that happened, but they should either fix it or replace it. We drive past this place all the time and I somehow only registered it as a pizza shop, I didn't realize they had a whole Afghan menu. Overall, a worthy substitute, especially for the added convenience. Rating Breakdown: 1.5/2 Stars for Taste -- We ordered the potato and squash bolani. You can choose spicy or mild. Word of warning, even the mild has a slight kick and the peppers are distributed haphazardly throughout. I gave my kid a bite after taste-testing for spice and she started shrieking. My bite was non-spicy...hers was not. We ended up doing visual inspections inside each piece just in case to look for the telltale red flakes. My favorite was the squash because of the hint of sweetness, my sister still loves the classic potato. I wish the outside was crispier, but my order was takeout and I'm not sure how long it sat in the pizza box for. I also read in other reviews you can order extra crispy so I might try that next time. The green sauce the bolani came with is spicier and more watery than De Afghanan. We also ordered the chapli and beef tikka kabob. The chapli was our favorite --the patties were huge! The beef tikka kabob had a slightly offputting mushy texture in the middle, but the flavor and char were overall good. You can choose between brown and white rice and I opted for brown because the server told me it was more popular. The rice is perfectly seasoned, much more evenly spiced than what they serve at De Afghanan. My favorite order of the night though was the eggplant borani. SO good. I could eat a bucket of it. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It was $13 and $14 for normal and squash bolani, respectively. The kebab platters were a little shy of $20 and the boxes were generously packed. It was $10 for the eggplant appetizer, although next time I might splurge $3 more to get it as a platter with rice. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service - I called the order in instead of ordering online and they charged us the in-store price, which is nice. The website prices were on average $3-4 higher. Bonus star because I'll definitely be back for that eggplant. I'm also interested in trying their Afghan breakfast.
