    Combination Pizza

I pass by this place all the time and from the look of it outside i already knew the pizza was gonna be delicious, The store owner Al was really chill and a cool guy. The pizza is soo soo freaking good and like in the name, it feels like something you'd order right from an inner city but waaaayyy better. seriously if you pass by this place dont be afraid to check it out they got options for everyone including vegetarian and halal, 10/10 definitely found my new fav pizza spot!

Solid combination pizza. Flavors are pretty interesting. Pickled flavor came through strongly, but I'm not mad at it. Would love to try their cheese out pepperoni. Definitely checking out this corner shop again.

Came here around 7pm on a Monday night. The location gives me the creeps since it's in an area that's not well lit and on a lonely street corner. Upon first glance it's not the cleanest and it's SO HOT inside. There's so much stuff everywhere. It feels like I'm in someone's house or garage. I was greeted right away and ordered a slice of cheese pizza. He said my order would be done in 7 minutes which was nice. I stood outside and waited for my order. I don't know how they can operate in a place that's literally 110 degrees with no fans or AC. My order was done and piping hot when he handed it to me. My total was $4. Not bad, since it was a decent size slice and had some weight to it. I didn't want to eat inside or outside so I went back to my car to have a look at my order. There was so much cheese and it was messily thrown on. I was a bit hesitant to taste it. I noticed that it was cut into 4 narrow slices instead of 2 like most New York pizza locations. I took my first bite and I was pleasantly surprised. It was baked all the way through, the sauce was not too acidic, and the cheese was fine. The crust is slightly thicker than other New York pizza locations. I didn't like it at first, but I eventually got used to it. I ended up eating the whole thing in a matter of minutes so that's all that matters. Giving this location a 4/5 because it is a small business and I had a decent first time experience. My only complaints would be: -it's way too hot to eat inside -the bathroom could use some organization and a good scrubbing (put the toilet paper and paper towels on a holder!) -clean up the front of the house so it doesn't feel like someone's house/garage -clean up the front so it looks more welcoming (ditch the fake flowers!) add a fan or two inside I can see myself coming back here since I hate Jack in the Box and Burger King. It's also open until 10PM!

So good just got back if I could eat this large pizza to my self I would. I ordered my pizza and got it fresh out the oven!

Old school, family owned NY style pizza restaurant. Friendly helpful staff that serve you quickly! We bought the "Giant" and the pie was literally Giant! The pizza was very good! I had the thick crust style that was cooked to perfection! Great crust, high quality cheese and plentiful toppings. The prices were about average but the quality made the meal a bargain for what you got. I'll be a repeat customer!

I wasn't a pizza fan growing up, but that all changed when I started eating New York style pizza. A thin, chewy crust- the crust is what good pizza is all about! I ordered the King Kong sized combo...so big I could only fit it in the back seat of my car. There's a deal running where you get 2 meatball subs with a King Kong pizza. Take advantage! The owner is very welcoming and accommodating- please order for pickup to support small businesses during these "stay at home" months. The storefront faces Fremont blvd so park close by and find Al's on the corner. I'll be back to try more of his pizzas.

I ordered the king Kong pizza last night and it's huge and loaded. This pizza only cost me $44 out the door too. Amazing value. The pizza was very yummy and had super fresh ingredients. The owner was super nice too and takes pride in his pizzas. Will be back for sure!

Short Story: A shout out to Al (Ali)! Long Story: I came here on a Friday and I believe they are in the soft opening phase. They have quite an extensive menu and have all the toppings you can imagine. They have several different types of pizza and vegetarian options. Each pizza is made upon ordering. The prices are really good and the customer service is excellent. The restaurant might not seem appealing on the outside. On the inside they are still finishing the remodel. If you don't mind that then then you will be rewarded with one of the best pizzas in Fremont! I got the medium combination and it tasted fantastic! Verdict: I'm going back tonight!

Had some delicious pizza from this place. I was currently running an errand when I passed by this place on Fremont Blvd. I noticed the front decor was stepped up to make it more recognizable and it worked because it made me want to check this place out again from the last time I visited which was a few or some years ago. Glad I did. Ordered a slice of Hawaiian special and a slice of combination to go, the lady taking my order seemed nice and patient as I was glad to be there. After I placed my order I needed to use the restroom and they didn't seem to have public restrooms available. I didn't ask, but I remembered there was a Starbucks nearby that I could use to do my duty. Of course, I ordered a small mocha Frappuccino to go so I could use their facilities. There and back at Al!s for some good eats on some good pizza. Their crust is kind of thin and their ingredients are fresh. Decided to eat the Hawaiian there and the combo to go. Surprisingly they're big slices and the ingredients aren't as heavy as some places (Bronco Billy's Niles). Tasted really good and I was satisfied, thank you. I'll return soon. Brought the combo slice home and ate that one the following morning. Excellent as well! Thanks Al's! Great Pizza!

It's a great discovery...I'm glad I found this Pizza place. I start not really liking eating pizza anymore for years but when I came and eat here one night with the group of night cycling for a snack break, I keep coming back for more...you get more than what you've paid for. It's loaded of meat and Sooooo Gooood! Crust, crunchy, meaty and all what I like on Pizza! This is now one of my favorite place!

Bland, Boring... Bitter?? BTW, I didn't order a cheese pizza
    Chris B.

I really think this place deserves a single star, but I'm being considerate of it being a family business. First, when ordering on Yelp, there is no option for Pepperoni. You are presented with two options under "what's good" , one for cheese, the other for combination. You can add pepperoni to the cheese after selecting it, but after doing this, we were still given a CHEESE pizza! Thanks for screwing that up guys. I have to write this review for two reasons.. 1)this place is a disgrace to a NY pizza. And 2)how do you mess up a plain cheese pizza??! I've been to New York multiple times and each time, we literally spent every day going from spot to spot trying out one slice at a time. I've also visited many NY pizza joints around the Bay Area in an attempt to enjoy that NY Slice again. Some get close, but many are just regular Pizza with large slices carrying the "NY pizza" name. NY Pizza is a classic thin crust with a nice crisp bottom. The bread is also VERY specific and really, can only be experienced in NY for some reason (they say it's the water). Pepperoni is also a staple of a classic NY pizza.. or any pizza for that matter. So why is it not your "what's good" list and why did I not get it when I clicked on the option to "add pep". That's alright.. I like things that are good, so your claim that Cheese is "what's good".. Maybe I lucked out.. and just paid more for the experience. I have NEVER... had to add salt to my finished pizza. Either the pepperoni adds in the saltiness or the cheese has the salt. At the least.. your sauce is salted... and delicious. I had to add salt to my pizza today.. it was a very unusual feeling. Even with the salt, it was barely palatable. The dough here, is thick and dense... it also has a very unusual bitterness to it with every bite. It does have an almost perfect crust on the bottom, but it almost doesn't matter if your dough tastes like dense bitter cardboard. I don't know the last time ordered a bad pizza.. other than Dominos (tried it a few months ago with high hopes of the "rebrand".. it's still junk). Little Caesar's even manages to make a flavorful pizza. Has anyone tried 7/11 pizza yet? It's actually pretty good if you can get it when it's not dried up into a brick... even then, it still has more flavor in its sauces and cheese than what I experienced here. The cheese pizza (remember, I ordered pepperoni) from Al's "New York" pizza is bland AF and with the bitter bread, all you get is a highly dissatisfying pizza experience. So much so.. that between two hungry people and a large pizza, we only ate 1 slice each.. and actually, one slice wasn't even fully finished. I'll typically have 3-4 slices anytime there is pizza. We also ordered some garlic bread.. which typically is going to be very flavorful. Sadly, these guys can't do this right either, and it was just as bland as their pizza. Overall... a hard 1 star pizza. Probably the worst pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot of bad pizza, not one as bland as this one, with the exception of the bitter bite of your bread. I'm sorry Al, but your cheese Pizza is a massive fail and undeserving of the NY name, let alone "pizza". A comment was made by my pizza eating partner that "this looks like school pizza"... and you know what... the pizza at school was better than our pizza today.

Always pass by this place and have never got around to trying it out. Enter shelter-in-place...great opportunity. Ordered an All Meat pizza and the Mexican pizza. Both came loaded with toppings. Great tasting pizza, super crispy bread, earlier than expected delivery. Nothing bad to say at all.

Pizza 1. I ordered extra cheese. Notice how some slices have no cheese. Missing artichoke and mushrooms.

The live music and improvisation definitely made for a great vibe, and the restaurant itself has ample seating. However, while the atmosphere was a hit, the food left a bit to be desired for the price. The ordering process is straightforward. You order at the counter, pay, and take a buzzer to your table until your food is ready for pickup. Here is what we ordered: Chicken Fajitas Pizza (14 inch Sourdough Crust) This is a thin crust pizza featuring chicken, baby heirloom tomatoes, chile pasilla, red onions, and mozzarella, topped with cilantro. The housemade sourdough crust was nice, and the heirloom tomatoes tasted very fresh. Unfortunately, the chicken and toppings felt very sparse. It ended up feeling mostly like a cheese pizza. Given that this is priced as a premium pizza rather than standard fast food, I expected a lot more toppings. Sweet and Fire Wings (Flavor Number 2) The portion size was good, and the sauce definitely brought a nice kick of heat. This comes with ranch sauce. However, most of the chicken pieces were on the dry side. They were just alright, and I probably would not order them again. The Highlights and Extra Details Self-Serve Sauces: They have housemade sauces available for self-service. We tried the cilantro sauce and the orange sauce. The cilantro sauce was excellent and paired really well with both the pizza and the wings. Drinks: They have a selection of draft beers available if you want a drink with your meal. Parking: Finding a spot is very easy since there are plenty of parking spaces around the building. Bottom Line: A big shoutout to the musician who brought us through the door. While the music and atmosphere were wonderful, the food itself did not quite feel worth the money due to the dry wings and sparse toppings on the pizza.

There aren't many businesses in this complex so there's always plenty of parking. I inside of the restaurant was small but had plenty of tables. It was a slow day on that weekday early dinner time. Fried Calamari- for only being a couple minutes away I wonder why the calamari was already almost cold when we ate it. It was pretty disappointing. Maybe they just had it in the box while they waited for the rest of our order. I don't know. Flavor was good. Pizza Primavera - It was good, I was okay with it. The pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was fine. White Pasta - I honestly don't remember what the name was but it was an item my bf ordered. This was terrible. Like there was too much roux to make the bechamel. It tasted of flour. Not much salt, not much of other flavors. Not enough milk and cheese and butter. He took a bite and put it down. Came here on a weekday for dinner and it was mostly empty. We got the chicken parm and the margherita pizza. With the margherita pizza, the dough was obviously bought premade and frozen. It was dry and hard as expected from a premade frozen pizza dough. Not sure if the whole thing was bought frozen. There was generous amounts of cheese with one sad basil leaf of each quarter. One positive thing I can add about the pizza is that the cheese does have a satisfying flavor, giving me a nostalgic flashback to school lunch pizza. As for the pasta, the chicken has a strange taste (maybe too strong on a vodka marinade?). There was way too much sauce for the amount of pasta, and it had a very light and bright flavor, not terrible but definitely lacking depth and any nuances of aromatics or herbs. The chicken was not breaded and instead grilled. Servers were attentive, but seemed to have a lot of staff mostly standing around.

Second visit happened to be later in the afternoon, about 2pm. I got two slices of pizza, pepperoni and mushroom. Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Spoke to Ai instead of a real person. Asked about their special and was told a managers special, 2 pizza, breadsticks, 2 cans of soda for $37. I asked what size pizza and they said large. I ordered the special and upgraded to cheesy garlic bread. Came in to pickup and they gave me 2 medium pizza instead of 2 large, total was $58. I told them my order was a large and showed them the text that confirms it was 2 large. They said it was a mistake on the Ai part. I told them that's not my fault. Pizza Hub decided to use a service that was incorrect. They should take responsibility if that service makes a mistake. If anything, call or text me that the order had an incorrect item. We did an upgrade to cheesy garlic bread, they decided to charge use separately for it but didn't include the breadsticks that came with the original manger's special. At that point I was ok to pay the $58 because we're from out of town and the pizza was already ordered and made. At least give us 2 large pizza and not 2 medium or a discount. I asked them if they could give me a discount for the mistake and they made it seem like I was the hassle for their mistake with the bait and switch. In the end they gave me $5 off. If I didn't speak up they would have sold me 2 medium 1 topping basic pizza and cheesy garlic bread with 2 personal can of soda for $58. Basic to the point you could go to Litttle Caesar and get the same combo for much cheaper. They also said they have a recording. I said ok. I asked for 2 mediums at first but when I ask about their other special I was given the managers special with the 2 large. I even asked in the recording what size pizza in the manager's special and was told a large. That's why I ordered the manager's special because it was going to be cheaper and with a bigger size pizza. Pizza (bread) has a good margin and you could easily give a discount especially for your mistake and lack of communication. All I wanted was it to be closer to $40.

My wife and I retuned to Blaze Pizza the other day for lunch. We both selected a " Build Your Own"…read morepizza, so we could select the toppings we each prefer. It's such a joy to be able to pick exactly what you want on your pizza. We both also opted for the original crust with red sauce. Their service is always quick and the staff are helpful. We found a table and helped ourselves to soft drinks. Neither of us were able to finish the whole pizza, so we grabbed a box and brought them home to enjoy later. The restaurant was clean and pretty quiet, considering they were fairly busy. We always enjoy a solid meal at Blaze.

I can see that there's a bunch of people waiting not just from getting their pizzas but even ordering them, which is probably why it took about 30 minutes to get mines. Regards to one of the staff members, they seem to have an overwhelming moment that they kinda carelessly throw toppings on some of the pizzas. I get that working there can be exhausting especially when there's like only 3 workers, but there's no need to throw toppings on the pizza like that. Also, the glass that borders the pizza ingredients is bent. I have no idea how that happened, but they should either fix it or replace it. Anyways, because of all this, I kinda felt hesitant to add a little more toppings and even get a drink. Other than that, nothing much has changed overall.
