Maybe all the great reviews are bots? Or people from the area are impressed by the organic flour? First we arrived and went to the counter where we were ignored for a few minutes. My husband and I are big eaters, and absolutely love a buffet/smorgasboard. We arrived at 2 and I asked about the lunch buffet as we had seen it online and in some reviews, but only saw a small nearly empty hot box, and salad bar, and didn't know if that was the whole thing. The man at the counter informed us that there was indeed a buffet until 3pm. As my husband paid I asked about what pizzas we could get. He stated that there was pepperoni in there and that they fill it with cheese pizza as well as Hawaiian. I asked if we could try one of the pizzas with chicken on it. I am used to pizza buffets where you can ask for different pizzas (some places you can tell them exactly what you want...ie. pizza ranch, Cicis...others you can choose from a list... ie. Infinito's) he said as it was nearly 3 (again, it was 2) that they could make half pizza and half garlic bread. I said that was fine, assuming that there was also going to be plain cheese pizza, Hawaiian, and fresh pepperoni. We waited and waited. Finally it came out. But only the half Dragonfire chicken 1/2 garlic bread. I asked about the cheese pizza, at this point it was 2:30 and you would have thought I asked if I could have his left kidney. He said since it was 2:30 they could only do a small, again I said that was fine. At that time I also asked about the cheese sticks or cheese pockets that it mentions on the menu as part of the lunch special. Again, like pulling teeth. Why didn't you just tell us there was no buffet? Why did you let us think this was going to be easy. I get not wanting to waste food. But then say that. I'd have told you that we will eat most of, if not all of it. Which we did. Except the French fries they brought out which no one asked for. A large group came in towards the end of our visit, the man helping us (I assume the owner) seemed in a better mood after that. After reading the reviews I was expecting the flour to be amazing, but it was just regular tasting to me. When the man was passing us after helping the large group, he asked how the pizza tasted, and excitedly told us about the flour. We had a good laugh. This was just a frustrating meal. The food tasted good enough but the attitude left something to be desired. I won't come back if in the area. Which is kind of a shame because the menu looked interesting, combining Indian (my fav) and pizza (my husbands fav). I do wonder how the butter chicken roll is. I guess I'll never know. Stopped by this place with family for a Sunday lunch. The experience was pretty decent. The interior was nicely decorated and had two foosball tables and some board games, which was a fun surprise. The place seemed a bit quiet and empty, but the staff was extremely friendly and patient. The quality of the food was okay but did not meet my expectations much. The garlic sauce wings we ordered were pretty good and well cooked. We also got garlic cheese pockets, which were okay but not as flavorful as I was expecting; the pieces seemed smaller than the picture on their website and seemed like it was missing some garlic flavor. We also got the spicy trail chicken pizza, which was presented well with a stand and serving utensils. It was just a typcial pizza but also seemed a bit lacking in flavor (especially considering it was supposed to be achari chicken). We ended the meal with mini churros, which came with a chocolate syrup. The flavor of the churros were also pretty decent, but had a mildly bitter aftertaste. It also seemed a bit overcooked on the outside. The food overall was decent and comforting especially as it seemed all housemade, but could improve a bit. I think the menu could also be a bit more organized to understand (we didn't know we could split the pizza into two flavors). This place has a lot of potential and would be a great place for gatherings or fun meals! read more

This is a newish pizza place near the Safeway on Mission Blvd. They specialize in pizzas with international flavors, like kimchi, fajita chicken, tandoori chicken, and several vegetarian options as well. They also have Rolls, which look filled dough in the shape of a wreath. Every time I pass this place, the parking lot is empty. So tonight I thought I would give them a try. To my surprise the parking lot was filled, and there was a large party inside. I ended up ordering my pizza to-go. I got the smokehouse supreme, which is packed with grilled chicken, smoked bacon, sausage, ham, onion, green pepper, jalapeños, mushrooms, black olives, and mozzarella on a BBQ sauce. They are very generous with the toppings, and the crust was really good. It was hard underneath, but airy on top. The pizza was quite good, but the chicken wasn't necessary. With so many strong flavors, the chicken seems like filler. I appreciated all the exotic pizza options, but it would be nice to have some simpler options too, or build your own. (Maybe you can, but I didn't ask.) A simple sausage and mushroom would have been nice. The staff was really busy with the party, but were still very friendly. First time coming to Roll N Crust and the owner was so incredibly welcoming and sweet. They usually don't let people do half half on medium sized pizzas but he allowed us to and I thought that was just another benefit you get from coming to a small business, they're not confined to any set rules and are usually really nice about any adjustments. The food was good and the crust was crispy. You can taste the quality of the food and they don't skimp out on any of the ingredients. With the pepperoni side, you literally can't see a single spot that doesn't have pepperoni on it. We dined in and the pizza was pipping hot. The owner came and served us bringing us plates and complimentary condiments and ranch. I was shocked because pizza shops usually charge for ranch so I was super thankful. It was just a tad warm inside the restaurant (probably from all the ovens) but we really enjoyed the food and the friendly owner. Support a new local business and give their food a try. read more

The good: The pizza has nice flavor, good marinara. Less good: I paid extra for stuffed crust and it wasn't "stuffed". It was hollow and doughy with an empty hole in the middle. I ordered wings, extra crispy. They arrived mushy and sloppy. This is because they were packed hot in a plastic box, causing condensation to make the skin soft and fatty with little flavor. I ordered curly fries. They were disintegrated and soggy to the point that if you picked one up, the rest of the fry would fall right off because it was weak, and zero percentage was crisp. This was also due to poor packaging in a paper box with a plastic lining. I requested utensils and anything necessary, and they were not included. I'm disappointed! I read great reviews and saw awesome pictures, so my hopes were high. Maybe the dine-in experience would be completely different. I read wonderful things about the staff and the cleanliness, so if any of the staff reads this, please rethink the to-go packaging. Please understand what "stuffed crust" means. Maybe they forgot to add the cheese to my pizza's crust? If you're going to accept notes and requests on the delivery app, please read them and honor them. They use organic, unbleached flour in their fermented dough, which has health benefits like antioxidants (today I learned!) They also had whole pizzas you can order a la carte, and the paneer pizza is definitely something we will order in the future. It was my first time trying hot honey, as they had a great selection of sauces to choose from. With tax it is less than $15 per person for the buffet.
