There are so many Indian Pizza places in Fremont it takes a lot to standout, we ate here when we first moved to Fremont but it's been years and years since then. Our go to was Bombay Pizza House but its a little further and when my wife was recently craving Indian Pizza we decided to try Curry Pizza House again. I read they are both owned by the same people so you'll find the same great crust and flavors here as you would at Bombay. The nice thing is they have personal size pizzas so we didnt have to order huge portions of the pepperoni or Hawaiian pizza the kids wanted. Both of these were generously topped with ingredients and the kids loved it. Curry Chicken Masala: Curry sauce, cheese, bell peppers, red onion, diced tomatoes, masala chicken, cilantro. My wife got this and loved it, it was totally her taste with mild masala chicken and not too spicy. Curry sauce sounded odd as a sauce but it was delicious. I remember this spot opening when I was working as an EMT here in Fremont many years ago and never got around to trying it. While visiting my in laws, my father in law decided to dine in at Curry Pizza House. I've had Curry Pizza House in the past, however, it was take out and cold when I had it. We walked in and ordered two pizza's and beer on tap. For the first pizza, my father in law said was too salty and the employee kindly took our order back for it to be remade and it was much better. Zero complaints with this establishment, in fact, I'd prefer Curry Pizza House over some of the larger chained pizza parlors. The pizza was HOT and the bread was soft and fresh. I don't get pizza cravings often and when I do, we make sure to not ignore the craving! Since we were going to be doing some shopping nearby, it was our opportunity to satisfy this craving. L O C A T I O N Curry Pizza House is located off of Fremont and Mowry Blvd in the plaza with the Mega Mart. M E N U Curry Pizza House has some appetizers, salads, wings, desserts and of course pizzas of both "normal" and curry inspired ones. We looked at their menu and decided butter chicken was going to be it. Prices seem to be on par with other pizza places which for me is shocking when you see the prices but you know what. Sometimes it's worth it to satisfy a craving you know? How was it? The crust reminds me of a crisp naan. The butter chicken tender and not dry. The pieces felt a bit tinier than I wanted but I guess it's bite sized and probably helps with a more even cook. The sauce was creamy and definitely well spiced. I ate four slices of the large pizza we ate. Yeah I was hungry...voracious really. S E R V I C E We called in our order and unfortunately my hubby's connection was not great, but they did try to call him back a couple times which was wonderful that they even tried. Luckily, my phone was better so he ordered through my phone and they got our order and they started our pizza. We easily paid by card and it was readily available within 20 min and actually it might've been less. I live in South San Jose and have been a regular customer for this location. They were having a great customer service. Whenever I had my family visiting from Canada I will take them at least once. However their service as well customer service has become worst. Last timemy family visited them they said that this place has become very expensive. Buying extra large pizza for around $50 is insane. They can buy 3 pizzas for $50 Canadian. In my latest visit I found that on top of paying $50 for extra large pizza they serve they served a thin crust pizza. That me an my wife can eat almost all. Can you believe 2 people eating extra large pizza? In addition, I had to tell them to make it spicy rather than they asking how spicy do we want? On top of that they delivered a pretty bland pizza. And when I mentioned that they totally ignored my comments. Another thing I noticed was that they were serving very nicely to white customers and totally ignored the customers from their own community. This feels like discrimination. Really enjoyed my experience here! The store was very clean, neat, and welcoming. Their pizzas are so good, and they have lots of great options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. The manager and all the staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. You can really tell they care about their customers and the service they provide. I shared 5 pc achari wings/5 pc curry masala wings and a large half curry masala/half tandoori chicken pizza with a friend & the bill came out to $60, which I'm not sure was completely worth it. I've never had Indian pizza or wings, so don't have any expectations or know what is average and what's good. I liked the wings more than the pizza since you could taste more spices. Both wings and pizza were significantly different than American wings/pizza. But compared to traditional Indian food, both wings and pizza pales in term of flavor and spices. The silver lining (and why I'm giving this place a 4 and not a 3) was that they don't skimp out on protein for the pizzas - each slice was packed with chicken. The service was also okay. The cashier seemed a bit passive aggressive when my friend and I, who've never tried Indian pizza or Indian wings, were asking questions. The person who served my friend and me food seemed nice. We had family visiting and wanted to try something new. A friend recommended Curry Pizza House. We had never had a curry style pizza and we were blown away. Every bite was a flavor explosion. We ordered an XL Tandoori/Curry and a L Butter Chicken/ Tikki pizza. We also had to have a wing sampler with 4 different style wings. I didn't know which one I liked best, all I know all the food we ordered was amazing. The restaurant staff was helpful and friendly. LOCATION, PARKING great location right near target, with ample parking right in front. It's near several other food places that also do various Asian fast foods like boba. SERVICE, FOOD I did takeout and the online ordering process was very straightforward. We ordered three pizzas: two large (tandoori chicken, curry chicken masala) and one medium gluten free (half curry chicken with pineapple, red onion, pepper, and red sauce, half gobhi with olives, red onion, tomato and white sauce). Because the online ordering only lets you choose one sauce for the custom gf pizza, I chose red sauce and made a note asking to make the gobhi half with white sauce if possible. And they did!!! The order totaled about $100 after tax. This was actually more than enough for five fully grown adults-- you get pretty full after 2-3 slices, which are large and loaded with toppings. We have a significant amount of leftovers. The service was amazing. I ordered at about 4:45p and it was ready by 5:10. The place was pretty empty since it was early, but super clean. The guy helped me with the door and offered to help me out the three pizzas in the car as well. So friendly!! The pizzas are GENEROUSLY topped. Like yes they're almost $30 each but for good reason. You can't even see the sauce underneath all that topping. The slices are heavy with toppings. It's amazing. The taste was great. Very rich in flavor, mildly spicy (3/10 spicy), filling. I would DEFINITELY go again. The cherry on top is I was NOT glutened! Keep in mind, if you're celiac, that this place doesn't use a separate oven. I do react to cross contamination if it's enough (like 30ppm) and did not react here, but if you're very sensitive then it may be prudent to take a glutenease with the meal. I also want to add that my parents both reported that the pizzas "didn't agree with them" the next day. They are both lactose intolerant, so that may have played a role. I have a pretty sensitive stomach and didn't get a tummy ache from these, but I think it you're sensitive to dairy or spicy foods or spices, you may benefit from just taking a pepto bismol before the meal. read more

We were here on a Friday to pick up pizza and we were debating whether we should eat at the restaurant or take it home and eat it. The sitting area is big but it seems mostly empty so we decided to take it home. The pizza is in great taste, as we ordered the chicken tikka masala and achari chicken pizza large size. The service is great, good taste good too. There's lots of free parking available and I feel they should have more opportunities for people to sit there and eat... A friend who lives in Fremont ordered from Curry Pizza House again when we came over for another group social gathering. I tried the shahi paneer, chili paneer, and regular veggie pizzas as we had a shahi paneer and butter chicken split pizza, and a chili paneer and regular veggie split pizza (you can have a pizza be split half/half between two types/flavors). I'm still not really impressed with the regular veggie pizza since I find it to be the most plain and least interesting in flavor profile. But I do enjoy the shahi paneer and the chilli paneer, I don't find them too spicy (I can only handle a mild level of spice) and they have a generous amount of paneer that is cut into small cubes. I find the shahi paneer to be a bit juicier but it does come with a lot of olives and cilantro on it compared to the chilli paneer. read more

I came into Curry Pizza and got quick service. The place is spacious and has plenty of tables to sit at. They're also in a shopping center where there is plenty of parking. I ordered the Curry Chicken Tikka Pizza and a Caesar Salad. The food came out quickly and was very fresh and hot. The pizza slices were so flavorful with a light kick of spice.
