Spaceship Earth at Epcot is one of those classic Disney attractions that I somehow enjoy more every time I ride it. It's definitely nostalgic, but that's part of the charm, and there's something comforting about the slow pace and familiar storytelling. The ride itself is entertaining in a very relaxed way as it walks through the history of human communication and progress, complete with some wonderfully classic animatronics and scenes that feel delightfully stuck in time. The air conditioning also deserves honorable mention because on a hot Florida day this attraction can feel borderline life saving. Even if you are not deeply invested in the history lesson, it's still a great excuse to sit down, cool off, and enjoy one of the most iconic rides in the park.

This ride is inside the iconic giant globe at Epcot. The line gets crazy long as soon they open, going over 40 minutes of wait time. We used the fast pass to skip the line and got to the ride within 10 minutes. The ride itself is slow and steady. It goes through the timeline on human civilization, but mostly highlighting the accomplishments of past century that contributed to the development of space exploration. It's about 10 minutes long, fun ride for everyone.

One of my favorite rides at Epcot because of how much there is to look at, learn about and the nice relaxing ride it is. The length of this ride is amazing and takes its time going through the history of the world. It continuously moves so you need to be quick with the help of amazing cast members showing you where to sit. I love that it's two seats so you won't ever be put with a random person. I love how the design of this ride is a giant sphere and you slowly ascended it until you're at the top "looking" over the world after the history you went through! I love being able to see paintings on the wall move during the age of cavemen and learning how and when taxes (which aren't fun) were created! One of my favorite portions of this ride is seeing what the "future" was thought to have looked like during their most recent refurbishment a few years ago. At the end of the ride, when you exit, there are a few little games you can play. My favorite game is the 3D game where you need to put together a skeleton. It is a ton of fun and I've played it many times when I stop by this ride!

"The Edu-Tainment" attraction at EPCOT Center. The huge white globe takes you on a journey of the technological achievements of human kind, specifically in the field of communication. One of the longest rides I've been on at Disney World, this 15 minute slow pace trek takes you on a trip back in time highlighting historic milestones to the near present. At the end, check out the activities and test your skills and knowledge.

Spaceship Earth is located at EPCOT. You will need a park reservation for most tickets as well as a park ticket to ride this attraction. This attraction is a sit down, slow moving, ride that takes you through the history of communication, starting with cave men writing on the walls. This is a classic and such iconic EPCOT attraction. It has been updated over the years, but this will always bring back childhood memories. The vehicle holds 4 total, 2 in the front and 2 in back. They can accommodate wheelchairs, just let the cast member at the front know and they will direct you. The walkway to step onto the vehicle is always moving, but it moves slow. If you need it to be slower, the cast member can always slow it down even more to the point of stopping. Again, just let them know. The start of the ride, they take your photo which is used later in the ride. This is a slow-moving ride, the entire ride lasting almost 20 minutes. In every scene they are using elaborate sets and advanced Audio-Animatronics figures. It takes you through the history of communication and how we as humans communicate differently. Some of the different scenes include landmark moments of innovation, cave men painting on walls, Gutenberg's printing press, the start of the radio and newspaper and even the televised moon landing. The climax of the ride is when you actually reach the top of Spaceship Earth and start your journey back down. This is when your vehicles actually turn around and you head back down, going backwards. You also get the opportunity to design your future by answering a few simple questions using the touch screen on the vehicle. This is where the photo from the beginning comes into play. It is actually really neat, and we always try to change our answers to get a different "future". This is EPCOT's flagship attraction, it has been here since park open. The line is not as busy later in the day, evening. I would recommend visiting later in the day. The morning is always busy. It is narrated by Judi Dench as well. This is one of our favorite attractions and a must visit each time for us. If you haven't been, make sure to check it out next time.

Yes, it seems as if it's been here forever and it has! It's a tried and true ride. It's a ride that refreshes one's memory of the history of the world - without censorship. It's relaxing, refreshing, and worth repeating. On Tuesday (1/9/24) we rode it before leaving the park. The line was nonexistent, and for the first time our pictures looked good superimposed on our future wishes - space travel, for example. The folks who helped us get into and out of the moving cars were as courteous and kind as before.

I'm not a big fan of this one. It's not thrilling at all and just thought it would be better with more lights and less talking. The only thing that is funny is my face.

Spaceship Earth is located in the giant golf ball-looking sphere in the center of Epcot. This ride stepped through the history of communication and how it evolved from scriptures to giant computers the size of rooms to personal handheld computers. It was a slow ride in the dark so I got to see the different characters and the people just seemed so real. At the end of the ride you use the screen in front of you and based on your preferences you can design your personal future on Earth.

Spaceship earth is a motion cart ride located not just at Epcot's Disney theme park but inside the iconic golf ball that is at the forefront on Epcot park. The ride takes you through a classic Disney animatronic and artsy decorated designed stroll through time. You get to see world history unravel on this slow moving and dark lit adventure. Overall not my favorite ride but it is a long term staple of Epcot park and it is cool you are riding inside the giant golf ball.

Spaceship Earth ride inside the Epcot Ball!

Spaceship Earth - best done at night, in my opinion - is the ride within the Epcot Ball! You will notice that the theme of my Epcot day was to find every available ride/surface to sit and relax on and Spaceship Earth was no exception! This ride is leisurely, similar to Living With The Land, but has a bit of elevation, rather than being all on one surface level the way LWTL is. It takes you up into the ball, educates you on the "history" of people and then take you into the future as well. It's a tiny bit interactive, but mostly just hilariously campy and rickety in a way that is truly endearing. This is apparently a core memory of me as a Kid coming to Epcot as this and test track were the only rides I remembered from my time here. I remember going up and down the trippy "starlight" tunnel of Spaceship Earth and the gentle rotation and tilts of the cart, so it was lovely to experience again as an adult, absolutely wrecked from a full week of Disney fun! Judi Dench's voice is now engrained in my new Disney core memories from this trip as she is the one who narrates the Spaceship Earth ride lolol! Also, be forewarned (I mean, they give you plenty of time to "prepare" for this moment) that they'll take a blinding-flash picture of you. I just was past my point of care at this time so I couldn't even muster a smile. Please enjoy my RBF in the attached photos! :')

We did not drink around the world - because it was just too hot and miserable to spend our day drinking. We luckily visited during the Flower & Garden Festival and there were so many Disney characters made out of Flowers or Shrubs. It was really cool to see. We walked through the different towns from around the world. We went into the aquarium portion, watched them feed the manatees and saw the large tank with sharks, large fish, huge manta rays as well as sea turtles. We rode the the Finding Nemo ride that goes through an under portion of that aquarium that you can see from the viewing platform. We were unable to get on Guardians of the Galaxy ride sadly, but the wait time was over 2 hours and for some reason my single ride fast pass did not work when purchasing. We really enjoyed the Ratatouille ride and France town within Epcot. I would love to check out Epcot when it is less hot and humid to full enjoy it. After 3 days of walking and 92+ with 50% humidity we were both dying and wanting to go relax.

When you walk in you're thrust into Hollywood of the past, surrounded by art deco. Hollywood Avenue is an idealized version of Hollywood and they did a great job recreating it. Much like Magic Kingdom, there are different areas throughout the park. The Star Wars area and Toy Story Land are probably especially popular, though there's the Indiana Jones ride and Tower of Terror in other areas of the park too. There's lots of shopping here in HS, and good shopping at that. One thing that was cool was to see the characters bopping around, like Chip and Dale dancing in the square and Stitch doing a meet and greet. My favorite ride--at least of the ones we went on this trip--was Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. We went on it a couple times, once using a lightning lane and the other just before closing when there was only a 20 minute standby wait. I've come to realize that if a ride says it has a standby of 20 minutes or fewer, it's often actually a walk-on or close to it. It's a super cute ride, and the design is wonderful. It was probably one of my favorites out of all the rides in all the parks. I also really enjoyed Toy Story Mania, and was bummed that we weren't able to get to Slinky Dog this time around. We ate at the 50s diner, Hollywood & Vine, and it was ok. I had at least a couple better buffets whilst we were at Disney World. But there are several visitors you get to meet; Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and I think Goofy wander around the various tables. I had better food at the Backlot Express quick service (although the dessert at the buffet was really good). Woody's Lunch Box may have some of the best food in all the parks. I had a brisket grilled cheese for myself and a plain grilled cheese sandwich for daughter, and the food was delicious. Just make sure to use the mobile app to order quick service so you don't have to wait in line especially at Woody's). We only went to Hollywood Studios for one day whilst we were here, but I would rather do two at this one--or at least a full day. We took a break part way through and came back, and I'd have liked more time there. It is definitely worth a visit when you're at Disney World; don't skip it.

I'd either recommend a LL if they have them or riding it during EE or After Hours - otherwise personally I'd skip it. The boat was wet that we sat in, but seated in the second row I didn't see any splashing. I did find it interesting that the boat flipped backwards and the ride ended up being designed a bit more differently than I expected. All in all, it's a cute ride, but I felt like Remy had more bang for your buck - so unless I'm with someone who hasn't ridden it before (and it's EE/AH) I see myself continuing to skip it in the future.

I'm not sure if there's ever a standby…read moreoption because it's short and isn't a ride, just an... experience, I guess, for lack of a better term. Even though this is a walk-through journey, just like the other rides, you cannot take a stroller into this exhibit. There are some really fun elements to this, such as the first water encounter where you can pass hour hand through the strings of water to hear some duvet tones. There's a spot where you can jump and the water will respond, and a section where you can raise your arms for a similar effect. There's a wet and a dry path for folks to choose, though I don't think I got wet almost at all but for the time when I placed my hand in the water, and that was walking the wet path. It can get slick in spots though. And there's a PhotoPass opportunity on the path, so you can get a fun photo with Te Fiti in the background. And interestingly, there's a restroom in the midst of the journey. Across from this exhibit is a spot where Moana does meet-and-greets several times per day. As of May 2026, the last one takes place at 3 p.m. Don't forget your autograph book!

Typhoon Lagoon is Disney's water park in addition to Blizzard Beach. Both are worth experiencing…read moresince they're so unique. Typhoon Lagoon is shipwrecked tropical island themed with the biggest wave pool in the country. The waves reach 6 feet high and are intense enough to slide a bikini down (so I've heard). There are slides for 2+ so you can adventure together. Lazy River is pretty spacious and has floaty chairs -game changer. Not sure how I can go back to a standard tube after that. Loungers, chairs and picnic tables were available first come first serve. The reserved areas were booked up but we found the perfect location for all five of us. Sun and shade with the nearest bartender just a few steps away. The Mai Thai and Rum Runner were absolutely delish. Was happy to see hard cider available. Disney's magic is keeping the park clean and beautifully landscaped all day long. The water was always that perfect cool and refreshing temp, and crystal clear. Cast members always remind me why Disney is the best.

Not as much to do here as I had hoped but a nice mid Disney trip break. I don't think we would do…read moreit again but I'm glad we got to experience it. Food options were limited but the souvenir beer cup came with the cheapest drink refills I saw in any park other than the bottomless resort cups. Lazy river was pretty unspectacular but made for a nice transport method from one attraction to the other. Raft rides were nice but nothing special. I did not try the body slides so maybe there is something there? Again, a great way to recover mid long trip, but not terribly fun. Def go on check-in day for a free park day!
