I'd like to give them a higher star rating because they have good customer service, affordable prices, and get the job done pretty quick. However I couldn't give them more stars because I bought 2 tires and had a rotation done and they told me I had 30 day warranty. The next day I had low tire pressure and returned my car a week later to have it corrected. They informed me I had a nail in my tire and they're fixing it but at the end of the service the gentleman still charged me. I informed him I had warranty and he said "this is a fresh screw". I don't understand the point of offering warranty if it will not be honored so I think the integrity of the shop is missing. Other than that, everything else was good and I would still work with them but I guess I'll have to remember the warranty isn't real. read more

I discovered this family run establishment through a recommendation by someone I worked with. I drive a BMW M3 and I'm sorta particular about who works on my vehicle. I required two rear tires for my vehicle, and I had shopped around. My partner recommended Mission Tire. Believing that personal recommendations are the best form of advertising, I telephoned and explained the tire size and tread I required. They said they could have the tires I needed that afternoon or I could come into the shop the next day. I chose the next day. As I arrived I was somewhat "put into a cautious state of mind" when the address and signage ended up being a very BLUE colored building. I pulled in, walked into the office and was greeted by two gentlemen who immediately set my mind to ease by demonstrating their knowledge of my vehicle, and the tires it required. I have been doing business with Mission Tire for the past ten years plus. My wife drives a MZB and she just loves these guys... she has so much confidence in the abilities of the staff and technicians, she has no qualms of going there by herself. Either do I. Try them... Went in and was offered a wide variety of options. Overall pricing was varied. Pricing started at $550 for a used set of tires and rims. That was pretty good but I opted for new tires and wheels. We have come here multiple times and the owner had always been friendly, reasonable, great to work with and did the work requested. No issues. This last visit, we had caught a nail and needed a repair. Not a big deal, any shop can do it. Stepped in, said hello to the guy who seemed to be in charge for the day. He was clearly miffed and upset because I said hello as he and his wife/girlfriend were playing with their dog. Extremely rude and full of attitude, he said "you the guy that blocked the driveway". I wasn't blocking the driveway, but anyway. He said, we charge $30 for run flats and starting telling me about the rotation and alignment I didn't need. Weirdly, all with this "f'u" attitude. Located facing one of the busier roads of Hayward. Parking is somewhat limited, but it is kind of a pain in the butt if it is more busy. I came because I needed a tire patch, and it was the closest location nearby. So, I brought my car over and they took care of it for me. As far as waiting room goes, they do have enough space for you to sit, inside has a good lounge area, outside, you have two random seats. The price for the patch is reasonable, I guess. It's been a long time since I've gotten a patch. The only thing I have a problem is, is they over tighten my bolt locks, and it stripped my bolt. Other than that, they're fine. Called on a Saturday morning got instantly rushed off the phone. Not sure who answers there line or what the problem is but if there rude over the phone before I even get to take the car in, they must be jerks... I was ready to spend big cheese to get my car up to par but damn I asked a question and barely got an answer. So service wise I'm not sure how good they are but if you can get pass the attitude or whatever they prob is then idk from that point. Tip: they need a dedicated person with some communication skills answering the phones. I know we're all adults here and don't need to be cradled or babied but damn a little respect and transparency goes a long way. Unfortunately when businesses have a lot of existing customes they treat new customers in a terrible way. I came here 3 times to get a service done for replacing plastic under my wheel well and 2 out of 3 times the front desk person was rude and dismissive. One person said they did the service, the other person said they don't, this person said they do but you have to bring equipment. Besides the service not being done the guy acted like he was so busy and couldn't let me know if they had the equipment. There was literally one person being serviced and another lady at the front desk who could've checked. Keep your money from dismissive rude businesses because they only act this way because they think you need to patronize them. I never write reviews but this experience was terrible enough to take the time. Your hard earned money is important, please don't share it with these kind of busineses. Took my car in for a wheel alignment. They did an inspection of the car found some issues. They showed me what they found and left me options on how I wanted to handle the situation. Decided to take care of the issue now instead of later. They gave me a reasonable quote and offered me a ride home. My tire blew out on the freeway visiting my family in the Bay Area and unfortunately, I didn't have a spare tire with me since my car is a Prius prime and doesn't come with one (lesson learned). Had the car towed to my moms house and was trying to figure out how to fix this. Bought 4 new tires at Walmart the next morning and my stepdad recommended this place. So he brought me to have the tire mounted on the rim first. They took me in within 5 min!! I couldn't believe it. Amazing. Brought the tire back to my car so my stepdad could put it on. I then drove my car back here to change the rest of the 3 tires cause I didn't want to risk another blow out. Again, they fit me in right before they were closing. They even balanced my tires and made sure all of them were good! Saved the day and my money. I also learned that if you buy tires from here they will rotate for the life of the tires. I had the funds to buy from Goodyear tire center or Costco however I chose Mission Tire because of my last GREAT EXPERIENCE. The only tire shop you need to call to get any size used or new. Jj, took great care of me during all my visits and did it with exemplary customer service. Their prices are so good and they have a selection of different variants. I bought a truck that had a pretty rare tire size and called them in the morning to see if they have a whole set. To my surprise, they did and the price was affordable too. If they didn't have the tires, I would not have bought my truck. I towed my truck to their location in mission Blvd and the rest is history.
