If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Finally a place in San Diego with quality chicken wings…read moreand sauces at a good price. $1 wing Thursdays! The wings are big and cooked to perfection. The sauces a drippy, sticky, spicy, and dry if you like a dry rub. The XXX is a proper reaper sauce that packs a punch with flavor to boot. The XX bbq was also fantastic. My wife got the WG wrap and that was also incredibly delicious. I cannot wait to go back. The service is super friendly. It's an order at the counter so a line can form but it moves relatively fast. They have a good selection of beers and canned cocktails/seltzers. The house made ranch and blue cheese were creamy and had great flavor. The house made chips were crispy and delicious. They have a wide variety of mustards and hot sauces for use at the sauce counter. I mean what more could you ask for? This place is everything I dreamed of. I love chicken wings, hot sauce, extra spicy wings, and fresh chips, and blue cheese. I'm so happy I stumbled on this place. It's got a great divey and lively atmosphere. It's loud and chaotic at times but that's to be expected. I loved it. The dry runs were flavorful and I'm not a dry rub guy. I'm a saucy guy. The hotter the better. I asked if I could mix bbq with XXX and she told me absolutely. I will do that next time. This time I wanted XXX on its own to get a feel for the flavor and spice. The regal beagle is the real deal and I love it! I forgot to mention my buddy started crying after he ate one of my XXX wings. They are not for the faint of heart. You have been warned.

It was like a whole head of lettuce chopped in half. Delicious and I brought leftovers home. Would order dressing on side next time for that reason. So good. My husband ordered $11 tenders and fries. Both were really good and looked to be pretty popular there. We drank the bambucha which was really refreshing and light. Would recommend for service, drinks, and food. Lots of fun decor going with the threes company theme. Fun place.

This was my first visit to this business…read more Around 11:30 AM on April 22, 2026, I stopped in while out on a break from work, hoping to support a local business and grab a quick lunch. I planned to order a their soup and half-sandwich combo. After waiting my turn, I asked what the soup of the day was. Instead of a direct response, the employee behind the counter (wearing a black shirt) pointed vaguely toward the counter and said, "It's right there." There were multiple signs and items, and it wasn't clear what he was referring to. I asked again for clarification, and he repeated himself--this time with clear irritation. I said "I don't see it". With some distain he replied "chicken noodle soup". At that point, it was obvious the interaction wasn't going anywhere productive or that this individual did not value his customers. I made a comment about the attitude and left. Here's the reality: in today's economic environment, every customer matters. I came in with the intention of spending money and potentially becoming a repeat customer. Instead, I was met with dismissive and unfriendly service for no reason. What are we doing? I wasn't rude or confrontational - I simply asked a basic question. The employee could have have simply stated what the soup of the day was. Instead, his attitude was unnecessarily hostile and reflects poorly on the business. Interactions like that don't just lose a single sale, they cost long-term customers and referrals. If ownership is paying attention, fire this guy!Staff represent your brand, and this experience fell well below any reasonable standard of hospitality. Unfortunately, I will never be returning, and I will not recommend this place based on this experience. In fact, I will provide this account of my experience with Royal Food Mart to many!

Normally I don't go for hot sandwiches, but I heard about this spot and had to try it! I absolutely…read morewas not disappointed! I ordered the BBQ beef brisket sandwich and can't wait to go back to try the whole menu. The sandwich was made to perfection. The bread was amazing, and I finished it before I knew it! It had cheese, onion, tomato, mayo, and BBQ sauce - this was so good. I'm usually not big on tomato or heavy BBQ sauce, but if it's worth it, I'll eat both... and this was absolutely worth it. The BBQ sauce has officially grown on me. The wait wasn't long at all. I didn't go inside to pick up my order, so I can't speak for customer service yet, but I can 100% vouch for the food. Got lucky with parking right out front. Can't wait to come back!

If you love Italian food, the grocery section at Mona Lisa is like being a kid in a candy…read morestore...except the candy has been replaced with pasta, olive oil, cookies, and enough imported goodies to make you question how much room you have left in your pantry. We wandered through every aisle and had the best time discovering products you just don't see at your average grocery store. From authentic pastas and sauces to chocolates, cookies, and specialty ingredients, there was something new around every corner. The deli case is equally impressive, filled with meats and cheeses that would take any charcuterie board from "nice" to "where did you get all of this?" The store isn't large, but every inch is packed with something worth looking at. It's the kind of place where you go in for one item and somehow leave with a bag full of things you never knew you needed. If you're spending time in Little Italy, don't just visit the deli--take a few extra minutes to explore the market. Just be prepared for the toughest decision of the day: figuring out what not to buy.

The ambiance was also very nice! Reminds me of a vintage Italian shop! But the food was very lackluster. The chicken piccata tasted like lemon soup with noodles! Really sour! It was to the point my teeth were hurting. We ordered the tiramisu and and Alfredo which were okay! We also got the Italian soda which was good! The side salad and soup were just there nothing special! All of that came out to $90 because of the tip! Also the other servers there are very obnoxious! They are literally screaming across the restaurant! It really ruined the mood of the restaurant!
