This was my absolute favorite car wash when it was Firehouse! I'm not sure what happened after the name change/new management, but I'm really disappointed with the service that I received. The prices were a lot higher but unfortunately, the quality has dropped drastically! For example, I had to point out certain services that were listed as included in the package that I paid for, but clearly not done. The kids were really friendly, but the quality of work needs to improve consistent with the price increase. Oh and my iPhone 5 extension went missing as well. read more

Just picked up my car from a full detail and they did a great job. Looks like they got every crevice and shampooed the carpet really well. I have had a lot of detail and this one was right up at the top. I plan on going back. read more

I bought the 36 dollar Platinum Package and was as not impressed. The door jams were not wiped down so I asked them to touch it up. Then I opened the other doors and none of door jams were cleaned. They also did not clean out my cup holders. The only positive thing is that whoever vacuumed did a good job. I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

With an average service time of 15 min, Hot Shine is the most efficient car wash. It is also a good price if you get a monthly pass, especially in winter months or if you need your car washed regularly. Free popcorn is a plus. My only criticism is that fast paced efficient service can sometimes come at cost in quality. For example, after my car was towel dried, and I had finished using the free vacuums, i noticed water marks below the door handles and side mirrors. However, such mistakes can be solved simply by sharing any quality concerns with one of the many fast and friendly employees. Overall, its a great place if you need to be quick, and a very good price if you wash your vehicles often. read more

I've always loved how easy and convenient this car wash is! Especially since I've been a unlimited member for years! I'm giving this rating because I've finally realized how unhappy I've been every single time I get the interior of my car done. They have a lazy staff, and the managers have never been a huge help either. I have been a pass holder for years and pay monthly. It seems like every single time I've been there and added on a mini detail service, "The final touch" (which by the way is $40 extra) I always have to ask them to go through and vacuum again or wipe down things inside the car again. It's super frustrating to me. I've had to get in and wipe it down myself, because the guys just stand there as if they can't see that there's still things needing to be done. I shouldn't have to ask. I came in today and there was only one car in the bay and 10 dudes standing around. It doesn't matter the time of day or time of the year, I've always had to ask them to redo everything in my car. Anyway, I hope they can talk to their staff and just try a little harder when they get those cars in there that want the full detail, especially when they have a girl come in that is 40 weeks pregnant and the last place I want to be is sitting in their waiting room for 30 minutes only to go out to a half ass job and wait longer! read more

We usually get our car washed at their downtown location but decided to stop off here for a quick wash since we were in the area. While paying for our wash, the employee took our debit card and walked towards the back of our vehicle. We then noticed him taking a photo of our license plate. When he came back up to our car window we asked if he had just taken a picture of our license plate. He said yes and we immediately asked why. He said that it was for "the books". That didn't sit well with us and demanded that he delete the photo. He just kept telling us that it was legal and it was for their "books". Whatever that means. He then attempted to delete it via his handheld device but was unsuccessful. He then walked into his booth to delete it from there. He came back out and assured us that it was deleted. We didn't believe him. NEVER have we encountered such a strange situation while getting a simple car wash. Why on earth does a car wash need our license plate info? No other location that we've been to has done this. We will NEVER go back to this location. EVER! read more

I think these guys do a fantastic job. This is my first car wash membership and I really like it! I've noticed, by reading some comments, that Mister car wash has snobs for clients. They expect a full detailing for the price of an unlimited monthly pass; really! I expect a good clean car, vacuumed floors and clean windows! I get that along with a nice smile each time I go! It is not first come, first served at Mr Carwash. I was second in line. I was waived into their second lane, while the attendant finished with the car ahead of me. Then I was shocked to see the attendant take the order of the car that pulled up AFTER me, and waive them ahead of me. The attendant then comes over to me and brushes me off with "they were really impatient. " in what world do you reward, impatient, rude, people by letting them cut in line? My time is valuable too. I will NEVER go to Mr Carwash again. I never have any trouble at Freddy's or Supersonic. read more

used to love this place when it was firehouse, but when they changed to mister hot shine it just went downhill. I even had some friends that worked at firehouse that quit when it changed because they couldn't stand the new management. horrible customer service. I've only been greeted nicely every once in awhile and I have an unlimited pass so I go pretty often. also without telling me or notifying me, they jacked up the price for the pass. that was super awesome of them to tell me about it. the least they could do was send me an email cause my email is on file! they email when my credit card number changed but forgot to email me when the price changed. Worst service ever. This place used to be great. I've been coming here on and off for years. Don't know what happened, but today I came in to get my car wash, and have the salt & snow removed. The wash itself was poor - didn't get off the dirt, not did it remove the snow from the bumper. In fact, the machine popped my right, front bumper loose from my SUV. That's just something I'll have to deal with - however, the dry off, is a joke. A couple of kids slapped the front of my car with a towel, and motioned for me to move on...didn't even bother wiping off the back - that I had to do myself - I basically had to rewash it because they did such a poor job. I've also contacted a body shop to repair the damage to my car. So, please, enter there at your own risk. I won't ever go there again. Thank god I didn't by the monthly pass, which I almost did. read more

The service has always been sub car. Each and every time I step out the car, the staff is friendly and says "is there anything we should pay attention to?" Each and everytime I say the back of the seats (feet from kids on the plastic) and the cup holders. Each and every time they never clean the back of the seats or cup holders. This is car cleaning 101. The blame is not those who are cleaning but the blame is the owners/supervisors not training properly or spot checking. Since this place chanced from Firehouse to Mister Hotshine, service continues to be sub par and the rates went up. I'll spend more for better service---like Polished Image. read more

For $42 I have an unlimited pass. This pass includes the inside and the outside. So I go about every 3-4 days. I'm always able to go during my lunch break because I'm in and out in about 15 minutes. My car has never been this consistently clean and tidy. The staff is always very friendly, they hold the door for me and smile every time I get my car washed. Occasionally I'll have a special request like a spot on my mat and they take care of it no problem. They've got free coffee and popcorn in the lobby while I wait. Another great thing is I can use my pass at any of the locations. read more

I liked the old Firehouse car wash that this replaced and right after I got my car washed I liked this too. Unfortunately, after a week or two it became obvious that there was a greasy film on EVERYTHING - most noticeably, the windows. It's been a year now and I'm still not sure I've gotten it all off. Horrible stuff. I would advise everyone to stay away from this place unless you want to take it there every week for as long as you own your car. read more

I had great service from Platinum but now it is Mister and they do a terrible job. The day I was there several women were outside asking for rags and completing the job on their cars as the Mister supervisor watched them! This place is the worst. My mom was driving through the car wash and at the end, it lurched her car forward and right in to a very inconveniently placed metal pole. The assistant manager on duty said that this had happened before and that they would cover it. When my mom called back to speak to the manager (Josh), he denied all liability. You better believe we're gonna fight it, but the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Not only that, but the car wash was horrible. I've been to other Mister car washes in the valley and this one is not even close to the quality I've received at the others. Stay away. read more

I'm fairly disappointed with my experience today. I normally have washed my cars on my own but I finally bought a brand new car for the first time in my life, meaning not a "new car" from the used lot, and I figured I would take it to some professionals to make it look better again. Inside and out. The outside looked decent. A couple little spots needed a little more attention but no biggie. The inside was my biggest concern though. It was a bit dusty and needed some attention. As I was driving away, I noticed several areas on my dash, the middle console area and the paneling on the doors that had not even been touched. WTF did I just pay for? I payed $36 for the "Premium" blah blah and this is what I got. I drove away and shrugged it off. I got more and more pissed when I got home and was using armour all myself and noticing how little these folks did. I'm back to taking care of cleaning my car myself. My experience with Mister Hotshine has been great. I get my car washed and detailed on a regular basis and find the staff courteous and very competent. Importantly, the wait is brief versus my former experience with Fire House. I also enjoy the monthly subscription approach. I get my car washed a couple of times a week and it pays for itself after just two washes. I'd recommend Mister Hotshine. read more

If you have anything happen at this car wash that is their fault they will automatically call you a liar and walk away saying that it is your fault. I was very shocked that they would think we would lie about damage to our car by their car wash. They basically ignored my husband and walked away telling him that they THINK we damaged it before we got there. The management should be replaced with someone who actually gives a care about customer service and basic respect for others. VERY APPALLING! read more

This place continues to get worse. The only reason I'm still going is location and now I'm questioning if the convenience is even worth it to the the crappy wash. Most of the time, not all the the brushes/cleaning wheels in the car wash are working. The right side cleaning brush hasn't been working for over a week. My car rarely comes out really clean. They jam the cars in the wash so close to each other that many times the very first brush in the wash misses cleaning the front of your car, due to not having enough time to return to its starting position. Its un-nerving how close they load the cars into the wash. I understand the more car's serviced the more $$..but really....give a 10-15ft buffer. Where they use to dry your car outside of the wash, they now do it right at the end and barely have time to do a decent job, since the next car is right on your back bumper and you have to pull out or get run into. I feel bad for the "dryers" as I'm sure this setup reduces their tips a fair amount. This place is always busy, not sure why they can't fix the wash and put a little more effort in thinking about customer care and how the customer views the service. The actual wash itself was great when they first opened, but the changes in the washing system are terrible. read more
