    Margarita pizza

In an unexpected area of Dallas, is a small but very quaint pizzeria, and it's definitely worth your time to check them out. It's small, only a few tables, so don't come with a party expecting to eat there. Most people order to go, and as I waited for my pizza to cook - I saw A Lot of pizzas going out the door. The staff is pretty amazing. Very personal, engaging, and funny. They work in harmony as a team and you can tell they enjoy what they do - making pizza. This is sourdough thin crust pizza and oh my, so wonderful! You can taste the fresh ingredients. I don't normally eat an entire pizza, but here I devoured my meal. Leaving none behind. I enjoyed every bite!

This place was perfect! If you're looking for a nice thin amazing pizza this is the spot for you! Pizza was cooked perfectly not too crunchy and not too soft! Nice little spot to grab and go there's a few tables inside as well if u wanna sit. Meat balls were some of the best I've ever had! Sauce was amazing and they were cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor! Service was awesome the guy at the front helped me order and recommended some great stuff! I will be back!

From the moment I was greeted walking in I knew this place was going to live up to the hype. Pizza was perfectly cooked. No flop and thin crust. The sourdough crust was a great plus. Tons of flavor. Everyone was very nice and the place was full the whole time I was there. I will for sure go back again.

The Jesse with crumbled meatball. Scarfaliscious!

In TX on biz. Had to drop a rental off at Love and decided to get some grub. Looked at this place and decided to try it out. When traveling, always hit the small ma&pa places. Those are the true drivers of our GDP. The shop is small. The owner was there and made the Jesse with homemade meatballs. The crust was incredible. It was on par with Bianchi in Phoenix, which is tops. The place makes other sandwiches and appetizers, all look great amd will be sampled the next time I am in TX.

What a great spot for a weekday lunch in Preston Center! I loved all of their options for lunch specials, all of which were reasonably priced. I ordered the Monti and got a healthy serving of Mortadella. The pizza crust style bread was so good and I loved the ricotta and pistachio pesto addition. I'm already ready to come back and try their other options (pizza included). The owner is very interested in your opinion of the food which gives me confidence they are just going to continue to get better. I will bring back co-workers the next time I come!

Pizzeria Carina is serving up slices of magic! I'm serious Yelp family, LOL. Okay, maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but when it comes to pizza, I'll proudly wear the crown (Fefe aka drama-less Queen)! Anyone who knows me, also knows my love language is "Pizza". I grew up on New York slices, I have an Italian chef in the family, and a study abroad stint in Italy where I majored in pizza (unofficially, of course :-). So when I say this is some terrific pizza, I mean it! This isn't your run-of-the-mill chain pizza and I drove across town in Dallas traffic just to try Pizzeria Carina. The location is a cozy neighborhood spot with 6 -8 tables. The owner, Eugene, is absolutely fabulous. We got to chatting and his story about how he ended up in the pizza business is so fascinating. I won't spoil it, but trust me, it's worth a visit to meet him and try his amazing pizza, of course. It's Roman style thin crust pizza that reminded me of being right back in Rome. The flavors are bold, the ingredients are top-notch, and everything is clearly made with love. It's so distinct and fresh, so when I had the chance to share it with my family later...I was excited that everyone loved it! I started with Noona's Meatballs (all-beef and served inside a pizza bowl!), then sampled four pizzas: Bella, Tony (beef pepperoni), Walter White, and classic Margherita. Each one was delicious, and it was impossible to pick a favorite. Also, Eugene was gracious enough to send me home with a tiramisu that was so authentically delicious. Bonus love: several of the staff are from Ukraine, and they've brought such warmth and pride into everything they do. The hospitality here is just next level. It was a great way to spend a lazy afternoon. If pizza is also your love language, make your way to Pizzeria Carina. This place is the real deal. Happy Eating!

10/10 pizza. Excellent classic Italian thin crust pizza. They also have a more crispy/chewy deep dish pizza plung the slice. Fantastic fresh ingredients. And tasty tiramisu. My favorite spot by Dallas love field airport. Nice outdoor seating and service.

I was told this place was great,.. so I'll try them out. I ordered a pepperoni and Italian sausage. I got 90% pepperoni and 10% Italian sausage (if even that!) It was so greasy I used four paper towels to sop up the grease before I could eat it. The crust was crunchy and nice, but the overall experience was nothing I want to have again. Too many other places with significantly better pizza. Sorry guys. But good luck

MAN, I wish this were closer to Irving. Good pizza is hard to come by in Dallas. Parking in the afternoon was a bit of a challenge, so don't be discouraged, just be patient. It is a small place with only about 4 or 5 eat-in tables. The owner will walk you through the highlights of the menu. The owner and I were chatting all things Pizza, and I was saying how much I love Tony's in SF, and that i have met him a few times and chatted with him. And of course this guy knows Tony too. "It's a small (pizza) world after all" We decided on the super thin margarita Skinny Marge pizza with sausage (he gets the sausage from some special place and it was delish, not that crappy small crumble crap a lot of places in Texas uses). We also got the Roadrunner sandwich that is the ode to Anthony Bourdain with the fried mortadella, and an order of the chick pea fries. My favorite thing was the pizza, it was indeed the thinest pizza crust I ever had, not too much sauce and little pieces of high quality sausage. The sandwich was also good, though I couldn't really detect that the mortadella was fried, the bread was perfect though. The chick pea fries were fine, I wouldn't order them again though.

    Sophia M.

WOW! the food was DELICIOUS. my friend and i shared the meatza and DEMOLISHED it. the service was speedy and personal. the owner and many employees made an effort to chat with us and check in. the music was also a vibe. the ambience is a little cramped but i would say in a cozy way. i HAVE to come back soon!

I was looking for a new pizza place around my work and came across Pizzeria Carina. They had a 4.9 star review on Google, so I decided to give them a shot... and they did not disappoint. I got their Tony Pepperoni pizza with spinach, and it was delicious. The pizza crust was nice and thin, the sauce was not too sweet nor bitter, and the ratio of pepperoni was perfect. My only gripe would be that they accidentally gave my initial pizza away to another customer so I had to wait about 10 minutes for mine to be remade.

    The Monti
    Katie A.

The service is impeccable. The food is delicious. The ingredients are all top notch. My favorite sandwich is the Monti. Please don't come here and order a pepperoni pizza! If you haven't been here you must try.

It was a little later in the evening so the patio service was a bit slow. But, our server was very friendly. We split their caesar salad as an appetizer. Both were pretty solid. There are several more that I would be interested in trying in the future, as well. They also offer a "pup pizza" if you bring your furry friend. We recently moved here from California, so every restaurant we try is a first-time experience for us -- and Sean set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we sat down, he ensured that we were taken care of with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that is genuinely rare to find. Sean knows the menu inside and out -- from cocktails to entrées -- and every recommendation he made was spot on. We trusted his guidance completely, and he did not let us down. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, he never missed a beat. He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and made our date night feel truly special. We usually aren't the type to leave reviews, but this one felt absolutely well-deserved. While the entire staff was kind, Sean is absolutely an asset to Pizzana. His knowledge, energy, and impeccable service transformed our first visit into one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets.
