Left: 007 Roll Center: Sunset Roll Right: Salmon Roe A la Carte x 4
    Whitney L.

Decided to walk over after work to grab dinner since I needed something quick before going to my second job. Ordered 2 orders of salmon roe (each order comes with 2 pieces), the sunset roll and the 007 roll. I personally liked the 007 roll compared to sunset as it was more flavorful. Service is quick. A walk in order literally took 10 minutes. It's a small but casual restaurant. Pretty pricey for dinner (I spent close to $50 on 16 pieces total for take out).

It's really a 3.5 rating. Selection 4. Service 4. Clean 4. Price 4. Food 3. Let me explain 3 meals all good but with fault. Soup salty. Fried greasy. Bento just ok but the shrimp thing was yummy. Sashimi a little small and boring. Would I go back absolutely to explore the menu.

Shrimp and steak hibachi, but super dry and overcooked.
    L D.

I had high hopes, but ended up very disappointed. I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi and fried shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were very disappointing, and did not at all appear like what was in the photo online. Not only were they super tiny, they also did not have a lot of flavor. The steak that came with the hibachi was super dry, and lacked flavor, along with the rice. I at least hoped for tender steak and lots of veggies, but unfortunately I didn't get either. The staff however were super friendly.

We only had tempura udon and dongatsu and somehow the food didn't taste like real Japanese food.

Chiko is no exception. A Korean-Chinese fusion concept with bright yellow and black decor, a friendly and responsive wait staff and a unique menu that won't be found elsewhere, we're working our way through the variety of bowls, dumplings and entrees that all combine multiple sweet, sour, and spicy elements as a foundation for the dishes. We knew nothing about Korean food, moving here from Colorado where everything was with steak or burgers. (I'm exaggerating a bit). The diverse population of the area is clearly reflected in the number and variety of restaurants. If you're not familiar with Korean food this is a good place to start at reasonable prices. They have a liquor license we. Parking is ample.

It had been almost a year since we went to Chiko. We decided to return and try different entrees…read more Upon entering, the general manager greeted us and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. The dining room isn't very big, and since we came for an early dinner, we had our pick and chose a four-top with a view. Well... the view was basically the Paris Baguette that's across the street. The general manager came by to take our order. To drink, I had a mocktail, "house-made lime cooler," which consists of "pureed Asian pear, lime juice, and Sichuan tea." I found it to be very refreshing. My husband had a Coors Light. For my entree, I chose "Soy glazed brisket" which consists of "2Fifty Texas BBQ brisket, soy brined soft egg, furitake butter, pickled peppers, steamed rice". I liked this entree. It was mildly spiced; the pieces of brisket were properly prepared; the pickled peppers added some heat; and the soy-brined soft egg was a nice touch. The egg was soft-boiled, and the egg yolk provided a nice flavor. My husband chose "JJayJangmeon" which consists of "shrimp, scallops, roasted black bean sauce, noodles". The dish is made with wheat noodles. It arrived hot and with a nice vegetable garnish on top. The greenness of the vegetables made a nice contrast to the dark brown sauce. That brown sauce was hot, mild, and thoroughly coated the dish's ingredients. It seemed a bit unusual to see a dish with shrimp and scallops coated in a mild black bean sauce, but it worked nicely. The shrimp arrived tail-less, and the scallops were soft and not rubbery, both properly prepared. I was glad not to have to fight with the shrimp tails. All in all, we were glad we made a return visit.

It was super busy and quite bit noisy went I visited during lunch time but I guess that a good thing that mean the food is decent or good Server Yisa C was good and patience , The Tonkotus Ramen Lunch 4/5- $16- Surprisingly it was good the ramen broth was not as rich as I am use too but the savory umami broth was on point . Most the time Ramen are not that great at sushi place are not that good but here was delicious. A tab bit too much noodle and can use more topping but I would definitely come back for it went it colder weather. Sushi Pick 2 Lunch Special $14- Such an amazing price for lunch special in Reston at a nice restaurant setting. Philadelphia Roll was pack and Salmon & Avocado was nice and fresh. Over all I would defnilty come back because the food is good and my possibly would love to visit for HH afterwork

If I come again, I might just spam those and not order anything else. We ordered a lot of rolls and nothing really stood out. A few tables for you to sit outside. The manager or owner was filling in for a waitress who was having an emergency so I wouldn't comment further on the service. Parking is free the first hour at RTC. Parking attendants are actually active so be sure to pay your bills. Bottom line: too expensive for what I got. I know better sushi spots. However, that fatty salmon special alone is worth coming back for.
