I came twice while I was in town. The place is clean. The staff is friendly. The food is good. I'll eat here again for sure

The original restaurant location is a historical landmark on Route 66. It serves traditional café food with a Mexican spin on several dishes. Located on the corner of Route 66 or what remains of Route 66, the restaurant provides an excellent overview of the route's history. This is a definite must-try just for the historical essence of the Mother Road trip. The service was excellent. We were offered refills multiple times, and the waitress came back to check on us and see if anything else was needed. The only downside was that the menu was not up-to-date, as items were ordered that were no longer offered.

This establishment is amazing! We ordered a Turkey deli sandwich, with bacon, cheese o. Toasted sourdough. It melted in my mouth. My husband ordered the original cheeseburger, with grilled onions and we both had French fries. The fries are so fresh and delicious. We will be back! One bite and I knew we were in the right place for lunch! Yummy!!!!!

Lovely little bricks of corned beef!

I love this place but I've never left a review. I often get the French dip with green chiles which is awesome, but today I was in here with breakfast in my mind. Homemade corned beef hash, eggs over easy, green sauce. And maybe the best horchata I've ever had in my life and I've had a lot on both sides of the border. Holy moly! A Flagstaff classic.

Small old time diner on route 66 in town of flagstaff. Just off the I40 its a few miles up the road. A cool little hole in the wall diner. Interior looks like it was stuck in 70s or 80's ..which is cool...Its airconditioned and has clean individual bathrooms (male or female no other ficticious options) The menu was basic diner food (burgers entries etc) not a bad option..... decent portions and fair pricing...

The floor was filthy. Don't they own a mop?

The food was good, although it was not presented well on the plates. The service was cheery and speedy. But what really gave us pause on the way in was the appearance of the place. It's shabby and run down. The floor is filthy. It's not a welcoming looking place. The 'blah' appearance of the food didn't help.

Came here just coming into Flagstaff for the weekend. Little quaint diner off Rte 66. Came in and half the restaurant (upper half) was closed so we were told to take a booth right inside the door or go downstairs. Downstairs was packed so we chose the booth by the door. We ordered our drinks and when the waitress brought our drinks she asked if we were ready to order- I like to ask what the waitress recommends and she had not one recommendation to give me- not a good sign ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We went with the Carne Asada Fries- they were just ok And the Buffalo Chicken Fries- those were delicious! Service was ok Half the meal was so so Price wasn't bad

This is a local restaurant in Flagstaff, AZ. It's one of my son's favorites. Today's experience, according to my son, was sub par because of the service. Miz Zip's is primarily a breakfast place. It's on Route 66 and occupies a pretty nondescript building both inside and outside. It was open seating when we arrived so we took a booth. We received our menus and ordered drinks. I asked if they had Splenda and our server didn't know so I didn't order coffee right away. I took our coats to the car and we had some there, so I did order coffee. Our drinks and coffee came but there was no creamer (I wasn't asked if I wanted some so I assumed our server would bring it). She didn't. I asked for creamer. The donut holes came and the creamer. The donut holes were fantastic!! Our food came. We were asked if we wanted anything. Our daughter-in-law asked for chalula. Our server brought more coffee and the chalula. The food was very good. I had the huevos rancheros. My son had the chicken and waffles, which he enjoyed. Our daughter-in-law had the Gringo French toast. She loved it. Great food! We didn't see our server again until she brought the check. I asked her to freshen up my coffee.

The menu items at Miz Zip's are simple, but don't let that fool you - everything we tried when we visited was really good :-) Tip: The venue is situated just off the infamous Route 66 My friend tried some of their breakfast items, but I went with the lunch menu; my burger was outstanding! The staff is friendly and welcoming; they bake their cakes and pies fresh daily :-)

The bacon was delicious, perfectly cooked.

I wanted to stop here often as I had a hunch that it would be quite charming. I was right. In addition, the service was really a plus, very attentive and clearly they enjoy their work here. I asked for extra crispy, hashbrowns and they delivered. Nice and crunchy. The coffee was good and they offer rye toast. My favorite. Be sure to look at my posted photos to appreciate how pleasant Ms. Zips is. An old diner feel. I'm coming back soon to sit at the counter.

Good service. But the food was insanely bland. Their "special" burger had no taste whatsoever. Nice waiter, but won't be going back.

So much so, they have been craving it and cannot find another place that tastes the same. I ordered their two fish taco special which was different than any other fish taco I've had, but very good! We also tried their corn and shrimp chowder which was amaaaaaazing! My son ordered the hurricane drink and said it was strong but very tasty. This place seemed like a little gem to the locals. Their customers seem very happy to be there and the guys running it are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming in if you're in the area. They have something for everyone. It's basically a sandwich that looked at a side order and said, "Hop on, we're going together." Then Scott, the owner, came by. Turns out he's a former white-tablecloth restaurant guy who decided to bring his culinary wizardry to a laid-back grill. And you can feel it immediately. The guy doesn't just run the place, he hosts it. Now let's talk surprises. The hidden gem of the night was the ratatouille. Yes... ratatouille. At a grill known for burgers. And it was the best ratatouille I've had in 25 years. Somewhere in Provence a French grandmother just nodded approvingly. The onion rings? Fried perfection. Crispy, golden, and exactly what onion rings aspire to be when they grow up. The burgers themselves were a bit overcooked for my taste, which is the only reason this lands at four stars instead of five. But Scott's presence at the restaurant more than made up for it. The guy genuinely cares about his guests, checks in, chats, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. So here's the official scorecard: Food: Four Stars Onion rings: 5 Stars Ratatouille: 5 Stars Scott just being Scott: 6 stars (if Yelp allowed) Bottom line: go for the onion rings, stay for the ratatouille, and enjoy meeting Scott. Some restaurants have good food. This one has good people, and that's a recipe worth returning for.

The restaurant itself was clean and had a stylish modern-meets-vintage vibe that made the atmosphere feel both cozy and upscale. Their cocktail menu was especially unique. I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this spot if you're in Flagstaff!

I don't know if chef changes the menus often BUT we had the fattoush salad, the bread board, cabbage, fideo with the venison sausage, and the chicken thighs and for dessert, we had the parsley and the apricot gelato. Yes, it sounds strange, parsley gelato but holy moly, it is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. It is savory and sweet, so if you like really sweet desserts, it might not be your favorite but it is definitely unique and delicious. Everything was incredible. My only critique is that everything is a shareable and there's no way to serve each item, which is easily fixed with a serving spoon so, not really a critique. 11/10 food Service was great.
