Great decor (Crystal Dragon) and vibe, delicious sushi and Asian dishes, fast and friendly service by staff. Come early if you're super hungry and put your name on the waitlist as this place does not take reservations.

Great food and ambience. Nicely designed/themed restaurant overlooking the casino, there is always a line but hardly a wait. We arrived without an appointment and looking for some small bites, we were seated within a few minutes. The service and good were excellent. We ordered some sashimi, a spicy tuna roll, and the giant prawns. All of the dishes were 5/5.

Friendly service! The Miso soup had a heavy portion of mushrooms but otherwise had great flavor. The dumplings were soft/crispy on the right places, very enjoyable. The lo mein was my favorite dish. Our entrees ended up coming before the sushi rolls, so we cancelled them but it worked out! It was two of us & the portions were large we didn't finish either entree. Overall good experience & would return. Obviously really convenient & easy if you're staying at one of the connected properties.

Wish we had something like Wazuzu in Los Angeles. The Kalbi roll is my favorite - light, crunchy, fresh, and meaty. The shrimp tempura was light and crispy. We also enjoyed the drunken noodles and fried rice. Chocolate bao was also tasty. I went to La thinking about Wazuzu everyday until I came back a month later lol.

Dined with the wife on a Saturday night; they (somewhat famously) don't take reservations so we checked in at the hostess stand at about 6:30 and were told the wait was 30-45 minutes. Pretty standard on the weekend. They text you when your table is ready so you don't have to hang around the restaurant. The most important thing to keep in mind about Wazuzu is that it's listed on the Wynn website under their "Casual Dining" designation. If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine there I recommend Wing Lei or Mizumi (both are outstanding). Some of the lower reviews on Yelp seem to be missing that aspect. Once we received the text for our table we were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us at a table right under the beautiful crystal dragon art piece. The tables are well-spaced for a relatively small restaurant and it's definitely a boisterous and bright environment. Our server Marvin was very attentive - water glasses were refilled constantly and place settings were replaced after each course. We started with the chicken spring rolls and the crispy Brussels sprouts. We really loved the sprouts - they were crispy as advertised and well seasoned. The spring rolls were good - they're served in a lettuce cup which makes for a refreshing contrast between the fried wrapper and the fresh veggies. I also ordered the uni sushi (I'm an uni fanatic) and it was super fresh and tasty. For entrees we shared the drunken noodles, the bibimbap and the sea bass. My wife always loves the drunken noodles here and these were very flavorful. Again this is an Asian- fusion restaurant (Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese etc. are all represented on the menu) so we know going in not to compare the noodles to Lotus of Siam's version. We also really enjoyed the bibimbap - the crispy rice layer on the bottom adds great texture to the spicy flavors. The sea bass was good except about 75% of it was slightly overcooked. This is such a delicate fish that it's easy to go from perfect texture to dry in a matter of seconds and unfortunately that happened here. Really my only complaint about the meal. Dinner for two came to $232 before tax and tip which included a carafe of sake and a to-go order of Pad Thai for our kid at home. For the quality of service and ingredients we were more than satisfied when we left and even had some yummy leftovers to bring home.

Came here with some coworkers during a work trip and food was awesome. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and felt intimate and quiet for a casino restaurant. No wait at the time we went. The drinks were awesome and they had very good tequila and mezcal options. The chips and guacamole were tasty and not oily and felt fresh made. Salsa was r too spicy. I ordered the shirt rib which was perfect cooked and so tender I didn't even need a knife to cut it. All in all great option for dinner if staying at Wynn.

I really enjoyed my experience at Wazuzu. Their Drunken Noodles with beef were a standout-- the noodles tasted freshly made, with a perfect chew, and the beef was exceptionally tender. You can truly taste the quality of the beef, which adds depth and richness to the dish's overall flavor. The appetizers were just as impressive. The Peking Duck Bao Bun was flavorful and well-balanced, making it a must-try. I also highly recommend the Panang Curry served with rice--it's rich, aromatic, and an excellent choice if you enjoy bold, comforting flavors. Overall, Wazuzu delivers high-quality food with great execution. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a satisfying and flavorful meal. Other recommendations do not go on holiday, the waitlist can be really long since the restaurant does not take reservations.

On a recent visit to Vegas we stayed at Encore and needed a good lunch option on our last day before a late check-out and heading to the airport. We had already had our fill of steak and Italian on the trip, so Cantonese sounded perfect, and Wazuzu delivered. One big plus: Wazuzu is walk-up only, so you do not need reservations. We arrived a few minutes before the 11:30 a.m. opening and got the first table. Within 30 minutes the place was completely full, which tells you a lot. Our waiter was awesome, super friendly, and happy to walk us through the menu. We followed his recommendations and ordered the pork and shrimp pot stickers and the drunken noodles with shrimp. Both were outstanding and easily our favorites of the meal. We also tried the sea bass, which was a very close second and definitely worth ordering. The setting is great, right off the Encore casino, and all of the food tasted fresh and was very well prepared. I highly recommend Wazuzu if you are looking for a casual lunch or easy dining option at Encore or Wynn.

Easy one of THE BEST restaurants in the entire Las Vegas strip! It's no wonder this spot has been open and still exists despite its long tenure at the Encore hotel! The drunken noodles are a delicious favorite you have to order as well as the toro hand rolls! Service is fantastic and responsive and the ambiance is always happening! You can thank me later...

Amazing ambiance in the heart of Encore. Beautiful decor, good service. We did t have reservations but were seated within 30 mins on a busy Sunday, so no complaints. The Mongolian Beef was DIVINE! Pair it was a side or two of jasmine rice and boom a meal for two or three is set. We also had the Drunken Noodles and they were anything but that. Dry and burnt tasting. We still ate it because we were hungry but not good at all. Also, the noodles are not traditional Ke Mao Noodles. These were something else. A hard pass for next time.. However, we will definitely be back for that Mongolian Beef! You should too! Cheers to good times Yelpers xx

Wazuzu has beautiful decor. The glass dragon alone is worth seeing! They don't take reservations, so you have to put your name down and wait. No strollers, no luggage, no pool attire. The rock shrimp and black cod are standouts, though the menu leans more Western-style than traditional Asian and is over priced. Overall, great flavors in a gorgeous setting. Staff are friendly and great service. I found the lady hostess at check in to be rude and not welcoming and was an absolute turn off for our experience. Considering we came here 3 days in a row, we were disappointed by her attitude.

    Jackie T.

Our server, Tara was amazing! The food here is always phenomenal, but the service is over the top! Even the manager, John comes by and checks on everything... he doesn't just talk about the food, he actually engages you as a human being. You're not just another number. They definitely go out of their way to make every experience memorable, even if you're just coming for a quick lunch. No reservations in this place! It gets busy early and for good reason. Outstanding service and incredibly delicious food. There is really no presence of a casino directly outside of the restaurant. It's almost as if you're being transported somewhere private. Definitely will recommend the Toro tacos!

Can I make a reservation for 6 person lunch on 11 Jane at 1:00pm? Thanks?

Think they open at 11:30am. We went for midweek lunch for 2 without any reservations, got seated quickly and saw plenty of tables available.

Is this more of a lunch establishment or a dinner establishment?

I would say either. Food is awesome as well as the service. I think they can make a reservation?…

Even more impressive was that hot items came out very, very quickly. Matthew, my server was a cool laid-back guy who was super attentive. Everything he recommended was great! And he checked on almost everything I ordered! Something else impressive was how quickly they clean cleared and reset the tables. It was a team effort. Everyone who was in the restaurant serving or busing helped replace the items on the table. It was very cool to see. I have to mention Cassie, the first and last person I talked to. She greeted me at the door with a happy smile, asked if this was my first time and kindly recommended a lot of wonderful items when explaining the menu. On the way out she thanked me for coming. You may not see your server for a long period of time and now the restaurant has decided there are no longer interested in carryout business as they will no longer take phone orders and they direct you to their website which is great. I find those convenient but then when you go to the website now you have to pay $1.50 just to use the website every time you place an order. I'm just wondering when restaurants are going to realize services predominantly what makes them a business. I can cook food for myself at home. I can even roll sushi for myself at home, but if I'm gonna keep getting nickel and dine just to have service, I'm going to quit eating out altogether, but in the case of this restaurant, I will now drastically reduce the amount of money. I spend there due to these greedy habits There is better ways to find an efficiency solution rather than charging your clients. This is a cost that could've been absorbed by the business and they chose not to. They will make more money by being able to service more people in a shorter period of time, but don't wanna part with the money it would cost for them to make that extra money and pass it on to their consumer.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch.
