Everything is so expensive especially the popcorn,drinks and food/snacks We don't go as often but it's always a nice treat. Just LOVE the new seats there Very comfortable! What a nice surprise. We drove from Toledo just to see Elvis. We payed the extra and found we had booked a loveseat area with two side tables with storage as well as two side partitions! Amazingly comfortable. Heated heats also reclined. I will definitely be back to enjoy this experience. read more

The atmosphere is great. We've driven further than our local theater to get to this one. I can't give 5 stars because we've had more than one time where their points were taken without resulting in the movie ticket they were traded for. The workers were less than helpful and showed no concern for why that might have happened, although no surprise there. Bought matinee tickets for 'Bring Her Back' 4@7$. Movie was decent, spent stupid amount at snack bar. Grandbaby Girl left her bracelet in the cup of theater 9, between herself and I: between seats 4&5 in the cupholder. We had seats 4,5,6,&7 E. I know....it was bugging her. She took it off and placed it between her and I. I told her not to forget it, but she did!! We were back within a half hour!!! Only 3 couples attending the movie when we did The ushers claimed to be simply, ' unable to assist. Shaking his head NO* prior to even hearing us. ??? It's okay if you threw it out, I'll dig through the garbage for it!!!! Otherwise, they simply lied. She was so broken . It was her and her best friend's connection/support bracelets. Well it's definitely been a while since I've been at this theater myself. To be honest, I can't even remember the last time I came here. It's probably been easily over 10 years. I was truly shocked how nice it still was inside and the new addition of the bar and the new seats that are in the theaters. I caught a showing of Willy Wonka way past after it's been out in theaters. So the theater was completely empty for just me and my date with my Gf which was really nice. We didn't have to worry about being loud for other customers and we got to just be comfortable and recline in the new seats. Which boy do those things really recline... I had a great experience and it was a great movie to watch on a date with. I will definitely be back Also I ended up losing my wallet in the seats and I'd like to personally say thank you to Michael for helping me look and rushing right to where it was. Sadly I had to wait for a whole other movie to end but I at least got my wallet. read more

Our theater literally flooded. There was water up to the second row. We told the workers multiple times, only after it reached the seats they did anything. Not the workers' fault, they were kind about it, but somebody higher up has got to do something about it. Not cool, plus had to go home early from movie :( read more

It's the only movie theater in the local small town area. But it's surprisingly a really nice place to see a movie. Popcorn is fresh, and you can butter it yourself. Seats are large recliners, with drink holders. Personnel are friendly, and everything is clean. Those who have been going to MJR theaters all know the triple "clap" part of the opening ads. All makes for a fun, enjoyable experience. read more

Nice local place... This movie house is run by MJR cinemas -- never heard of them before. Regardless, it is a great place to see a movie in Adrian. The lines today were out the door and half way through the parking lot. Not to worry because the line moved very quickly at the ticket counter. Unfortunately, the lines at the concessions stand took significantly longer. Out of 6 registers, only two were in use. Fortunately for us, what would normally be an annoyance worked out in our favor. Due to all of the previews and silly skits, the 4:20 show -- The Muppets -- didn't actually get started until 4:42. Seating was comfortable and the sound system was rich and powerful. The sound systems are so powerful the I could hear the bass from the adjacent theater. No worries, we really enjoyed the experience and will definitely return in the future. read more

This is a local movie theater. They are the only movie theater in the area without having travel at least 30 miles. They have numerous theaters and usually have all the big hits. They have numerous show time options, but usually only one theater with one movie. No duplicates Prices are decent. Can't complain when three people can see a movie under $20, ok it was a matinee. ;) They have a wide range of snacks available at the usual scare my wallet prices. It IS a movie theater after all. They have a very large parking lot with lots of parking. The people working are the usual teenagers trying to make an extra buck or two. Not necessarily there to make your day. Also, it's not necessarily a theater I want to see with the lights on. It is kind of dingy in paint, carpet, etc. Bathrooms are ok. Chairs are ok. Not the comfy kind. So all in all a good deal for the price. But if you want the luxurious theater, go somewhere else, but you'll pay for it. read more

Super disappointed with this theater. I had stopped coming here, and started going to Emagine in Saline because it was so run down and dirty. Today was my first visit back since the remodeled. Although the interior is much more pleasant there are some things that really were disappointing. The staff were extremely rude, especially at the concession stand. She ignored me when I spoke to her, their large popcorn is the size of other theaters smalls, and they make you buy the seasoning, which others set out for free. I wasn't told I had to buy it until I discovered it wasn't by the butter that you also have to put on by yourself. Then I had to wait for her to stop ignoring me to be given straws. She was a real peach. Needless to say this will be my last trip, I will continue going to saline Emagine that is cleaner, friendlier, and has a much better and more fairly priced concession area. read more

Very disappointed with our first trip to the newly remodeled theatre. Came to watch "Last Christmas" at the posted 7:20 pm time and turns out they canceled that showtime to accommodate the "Frozen 2" craze, but left the posting up on their overhead displays, the showtimes online, and their telephone listings. The lady at the counter had no idea that the show had been cancelled, and had to ask another employee for help because she couldn't find it in her system. It's now 7:47 and the showtime is still posted online. Toledo is just as close to a Blissfield, I should have went that way! read more

Really not a whole lot of choice between Adrian and Wauseon, Ohio. No military discounted tickets here. Seats Are not comfortable at all. Staff.....average at best..... Trying to figure out why no one has built a super theater in the middle of all these dead towns? I've been coming here for many years now. I definitely love their outside renovations - it makes the theater look much cleaner. I think considering that movies here are much cheaper than bigger theaters, it's worth it. Most of the staff is pretty friendly, however, I have met one of the managers once when I came in and wasn't impressed. I asked the cashier a question that obviously, she had to ask the manager about and the manager wouldn't address me - she just kept telling the cashier things to tell me, not even making eye contact with me. It was really strange and rude. However, that is the only negative experience I've had. The bathrooms are mediocre - I don't usually expect theater bathrooms to be super clean because the people that come in to use them are sometimes animals but I've noticed there's quite a bit of dirt around the door handles that doesn't ever get cleaned and it just looks a little dingy. Other than that, I do like how they have so many games for you to play while waiting in the lobby. I like that there's a vending machine down the hall so if you decide midway through a movie that you want something, you won't have to run all the way back and wait in line. The seats are also pretty comfy. I haven't had any problems with cleanliness being in the theaters. The floors are not all sticky usually like some movie theater floors get after a lot of shows. The staff are really quick to jump on any problems as well - there was once where the sound was a little crackly so we went to inform an employee and they had it fixed within five minutes. Overall, I really like this theater. They're pretty cheap, mostly clean, and pretty friendly. I continue to choose here over fancy, more expensive theaters in Ann Arbor or Toledo. read more

this movie theater is atrocious!!!!! my friends and i were not able to attend the movie Annabelle Comes Home by ourselves. my mother came into the theater and asked if we could go in and watch it ourselves and they said no because we weren't old enough even though we had parent permission. my mother had to come in and watch the movie with us even though she didn't want to and they said if she snuck out they would kick us out of the movie. my older brother and his friend was able to do this before but this "new manager" said it's against policy........bite me read more
