Great spot to grab some bbq! After spending a long morning in canyonlands, we were starving and this place hit the spot. They have a decent variety on the menu, if you don't want a bbq platter or sandwich they also have salads, bowls, tacos and a few side/snack options. We both went with two meat platters. I tried the pulled pork and the tri tip, with coleslaw and potato salad for my sides. My partner tried the pulled chicken and brisket with double Mac n cheese. Platters also come with hush puppies. I really enjoyed the tri tip, and the pulled pork was nice as well. My partner favored the brisket. All of our sides were good and hit the spot. Portion sizes were large, so I definitely could have just done a one meat platter and still probably wouldn't have been able to finish it. For sauces, they brought some to our table and I tried the house bbq, mustard bbq, North Carolina vinegar, and Alabama white. I mostly used the house bbq but enjoyed trying them all. Something for everyone. There is indoor and outdoor seating, we enjoyed the patio area. They also have a bar section if that is more your speed. Being from Texas and a BBQ connoisseur from birth, this place is very good. Is it Texas, no, but a very tasty meal especially if you like burnt ends. Cornbread is sweet, homemade and delicious. The staff were helpful but not the friendliest people we've come across in Moab. We ordered the pimento cheese appetizer which came with tomato jam, crisps and carrots and celery. I had the half slab of ribs platter and my husband had the platter with two meats - sausage and brisket. My sides were the mac n cheese and cole slaw. Platters also come with hush puppies, pickles and pickled onion. I found the menu to sound better than the food was. The hush puppies were dry inside and the ribs were very fatty. The brisket was very moist, which means it was not sitting out for too long. The original BBQ sauce went well with the brisket and the Alabama white sauce went well with the sausage. I would also reccomend the baked beans and the southern grits. The grits are a bit cheesy and have green onion as a touch. Luis was our server and did a great job with our large party of 10. I was surprised to see her badge said she was the manager. I went to order and Isabele stared at me like I had two heads and didn't say a word. I finally just started my order. It totally is and they even have doggy bowls for our furry family members. *Roberto* was amazing and we hope he gets a raise. The pulled chicken sandwich was good with the slaw added on it (I got the slaw on the side). The pulled pork was also good and there are several different sauces on the table so you can add as little or as much as you want! The staff was super friendly and answered all my picky questions about the food. We could watch them cook the chickens in a huge rotisserie in the side of the restaurant. I really wish the noise from the bar wasn't so loud. There was music from the bar and music from the restaurant that clashed and were noisy! The outdoor seating area is well maintained and there is a nice bar area for adults that we didn't go in to, but looked nice from outside. The pulled pork was excellent too, I think my favorite. So moist and delicious. I'm not a fan of beans but I decided to get them and they did not disappoint. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. Salad was a good size. Hush puppies were dry and burnt, that was the only negative. For a platter with 2 meats it's only $22 and you get so much stuff. I was so full. I was a bit apprehensive about going to this restaurant based on the reviews. You order your own food and drinks inside the restaurant. Make sure you don't take too long to get your drinks because the food comes out lightning quick. The ribs and burgers were decent. The outside dining was cooled off by a cooling mist.
