I asked for an alignment and set up an appointment, I explained to them my sway bar links were giving me trouble and asked them to put them in Bcs they have all the tools to do so and align my truck they had my truck sit outside for 3 hours and didn't even pull it into the shop, they just called me and said they won't do it Bcs of the aftermarket parts on my truck. then they had the audacity to write In the report on my truck "alignment recommended" and "sway bar links missing-recommend installing" and they told me they were going to charge me for an alignment inspection. wtf? I already told you what was wrong and what I needed but thanks anyway dude. one of the men at the desk has a serious attitude too, lost me as a customer regardless I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere. read more

Pros: they seemed competent, professional, and not pushy. They did my oil change quickly and looked at what I asked them to look at with my car. Cons: Two of the mechanics working there had very visible swastikas tattooed on their forearms. I asked one what that was about and he said "heritage". I asked the manager on duty if they could cover them up and he scoffed at me and walked away. Maybe you're cool with seeing blatantly racist imagery along with your oil change. Clearly this mobile 1 doesn't have a problem with that. I'm not ok with that and I wanted to make sure other people were aware before they supported this business. read more

They got my oil changed and tires rotated in no time. They the told me my tires need to be changed soon. Said not right now, but soon. They looked the tires up and said when I'm ready they can order them. No pressure, no fear mongering! That is big in my book read more

I am on road trip up from Alberta and my engine was starting to overheat so we stopped in hoping an oil change would help. It was 10min to closing but the manager still looked at my jeep and confirmed the oil change wouldn't help, he saved me time and money on service I was looking to get done. Great customer service. They put on all winter tires and there was a leak in one, then they filled them up (got me in right away) and when the psi dropped again they put on a whole new tire free of charge and again got me right in. They made it right. They were very quick and nice and I'll be back for sure! read more

Mobiloil Fairbanks, Alaska This place is large in size, the garage looks clean and organized. You don't have to walk through the garage to get to the waiting area. The waiting area is huge, has a TV, magazines, beverages, popcorn and additional vending machines to help the wait be more comfortable. If you check their website you may find coupons to use. They are open six days a week closed on Sunday's. They are professional and did the oil change properly. read more

This time of year is understandable that tire service companies are extremely busy. When they limit the amount of customers they can service they need to treat all customers fairly. After following the instructions they give I waited out side the store the next morning for an hour in 30 degree weather before they opened for business. After checking in they said I could wait. Granted service is first come first served they checked several of us in and we started our waiting period. The store started tell people who came after that they were booked for the day and could not accept anymore. After I waited 4-5 hours I saw they tell another customer who just walked in and wanted 1 tire swapped out they put in before all the other customers who were there before him. When I questioned about why they weren't treated everyone fairly and having the new customer wait like everyone else the manager said they couldn't do that because it would throw off their schedule. Manager stated they were short staffed and it's understandable that their work day is hectic. People just want to be treated fairly. Still waiting counting the time waiting outside before they opened it has been over 6 hrs and still counting. will I refer this business to others Highly doubtful. read more

I would NOT recommend Mobile 1 at 903 Old Steese Hwy, Fairbanks, AK 99701. The manager Harry became very hostile towards me because he felt it wasn't his job to call me when they finished working on my car. When I heard him agree to call another customer when her car was done. Well they ended up closing and kept my car overnight even though it was done. Leaving me without my house keys and my other personal belongings. Then when I confronted him on his behavior over the phone he stated he wasn't going to argue with me told me to pick up my car and never go back there again and hung up on me. Simply because I asked how is a person supposed to know if their car is done. Well I showed up and I tried to get a discount for all the trouble they caused me including not being able to go to work and he told me he gives discounts but to be petty he wouldn't give one to me. I had gone to them on and off for three years and I never had this problem when Eric from Anchorage worked the front desk. read more

Yikes!! Pricey oil change despite having brought my own oil. I double checked to make sure this is the going rate in town, and unfortunately it is. Missing the days of my $25 oil change back in Arizona! I wish I had the mileage to spare to make it to Anchorage, but I was already nearly 1000 miles over when I should have changed it. I guess it's not THAT much more than a standard oil change, but I'm bummed having my own oil didn't make more of a dent on the price (though I think without it it would have been over $100!) I was the first person of the day at 8:30, and the guys were average on the welcoming front. Massive waiting area with a big TV and comfy couch. 2 restrooms and a water fountain, all which was clean. Was in and out in 30 minutes. One of the longest times I've waited for an oil change in memory. Especially considering I was the only person there. Maybe these guys hadn't had their coffee yet? He didn't even pull the ebrake up (my car is manual) when he parked it. I think maybe I've been supremely spoiled by the overwhelmingly friendly service I received at my last 2 oil changes I've had. read more

Great experience today! I got there around 10 to get my tires changed out. These guys had no idea how low my standards are at this point. I've taken my car to Walmart and even with an appointment waited HOURS for my car to get done and last time they lost my key. I've taken my car to the dealership and paid 180 for a tire changeover and had to leave my car there for the day to get it done. They had me in and out in under an hour and actually apologized for the wait (what wait?). They were friendly and efficient and the price was 1/2 of what the dealership charges. Hell yeah im taking my car there again. They even suggested I buy my own brake pads to bring with me to save some money when I come back next month. I love this place and I'm super happy with the awesome service. read more

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and paid twice what the service would have cost elsewhere because I was in a hurry. I asked if they could install a headlight I was struggling with and they refused, saying "we'd have to take the front of your car off to do it". I found out from autozone that this was not true when they helped me to change the light in about 5 minutes. It makes me a little concerned about what else they weren't being truthful about. Had my oil changed there yesterday In my 2015 duramax came home and light came on to add oil. Checked dipstick was dry had to add 4 quarts. Plus they didn't add windshield washers fluid. They did charge 170 bucks tho. Bunch of meth heads working there never take your vehicle there read more

I have been taking my vehicles to Mobile 1 since they opened. They are very professional and have always done great work. I also like that the customer waiting area is very clean. They have computers you can use while you are waiting and free coffee and popcorn. read more
