After a very long cold spell here in Fairbanks ,Alaska I took my ford in for an oil change even though it was not due. Because during the cold spell I was starting my truck every two hours. Had them check my antifreeze rating which was only good to -34. We had experience-50 here in Fairbanks. They top off my reservoir with there -60 antifreeze. Always fast and very professional. Was told i needed a radiator flush but will do it another time. Even though I had to wait they moved the line fairly quickly. Again great service. read more

I was a little iffy to come to this location due to the 3.5 stars on yelp, but I am more than happy with the service I received today! Despite having a very long line, the staff were helpful and had a good attitude. I dropped off my car ran inside the Costco, they called me when my Subaru was ready, and even offered me a $10 off coupon. 10/10 read more

They siliconed closed my oil drain plug. Also didn't tell me. I discovered it the next time I went in for an oil change, in a different city. Because they did this, I had to have my oil pan replaced. read more

I brought my car in, and while inspecting it, they found I was missing a lug nut. I went next door to O'Rileys and bought lug n because they said they'd put it on for me. When I got home, I found the rear tire was still missing a lug nut, and a new one had been put on the front. In a nutshell, they removed and replaced the wrong lug nut. Fast forward to tire change out time... the people I had change my tires tell me I've got one wrong lug nut. Fortunately, I had not driven many miles with it on. Had I driven many miles, it would have reamed out the lug nut hole on my wheel, and I would have had to buy a new wheel. it's my fault I bought the wrong lug nuts, but if Jiffy Lube will put on a lug nut, they should be able to recognize one that will damage a tire. I'm looking far a new oil change shop. read more

Very professional helpful team that checked my rig top to bottom lights blinkers oil tire pressure etc. I got so much service and friendliness, I was sure how to react. Really was so happy when I first walked in. Great customer service, Availability, clean waiting room, coffee was good.......... But then...... My quick oil change turned into a whirlwind of them trying to squeeze me dry!! My hubby was so mad when I got home. Their "80" dollar oil change turned into almost 250 after they convinced me I needed a new air filter and they did this and that. Husband changed it 8 months ago, for 30 dollars with parts from auto zone. They made it seem like it was so bad and I needed one before it went out. Charged 140 dollars for it?! They knew I was uneducated and my husband didn't answer the phone when I called him when they showed me it. So I just went ahead and took their advice and they took that as a free forall. I was shocked when they told me the total. It sucks cuz they were so nice? I wanted to love the place but I feel like they took advantage of me. read more

Got my oil changed here a few weeks ago and just now noticed my car has been leaking oil from them not putting on my stuff on correctly and had to pay even more just to get it fixed. My wife brought one of our vehicles in to the Fairbanks store for an oil change last week and I feel she was taken advantage of. The last time we brought this same car into this shop, the oil change was $40. The employee convinced her that the only option for a service was the $109 option and did not quote the last service performed which was again only $40. She asked about cheaper options but was told this was the "recommended" service. I take my 2016 6.6 liter Chevy 2500 diesel to jiffy lube and the oil change is only $120 (10 liters synthetic blend) so I do not understand how a 1.5 liter (4 liters of oil) Honda civic can be $100. I am very disappointed in the service team at this location. Again, i feel they took advantage of someone that doesn't understand the finer details of servicing a vehicle and THAT is why i asked her to bring the car to Jiffy Lube...you guys are better than this. read more

I have been to college jiffy lube over the past three years i should have learned my lesson, although the staff conducts business as if it is scripted, the quality of Proficiency in execution is questionable. On one occasion, services were completed on my wifes vehicle, only to arrive home to find that the cover removed to conduct the oil change was not put back on, a return trip revealed the part in the bay, the staff put it back on the engine and was apologetic. I have taken my vehicle in for oil change and tire switch the past two winters, hoping for a change in level of execution, only to be dissapointed and dissatisfied yet again. When removing the air filter cover, there are four manufacturer screws that must be removed, needless to say i now have two screws and some on order from the dealership. Anything that transpires is not conveyed to the customer. After one visit, I found my vehicle leaking oil and had to take it to the dealership to be corrected. Today I had oil and tires done yet again, oil was done fairly quick, i only have to spray my engine to clean the oil residue on the engine, when it came to my tire change, rotate and balance this became an hour and a half plus, of a negative experience. Only one person was working on this task, at the begining i was asked to provide the tools to remove my spare, this service i requested as i have 5 tires on the vehicle, of which i gladly paid for the service. So i removed the tools and provided to complete the task, i watched through the bay window as each tire was painstakingly removed, replaced, and balanced, at one point i observed this individual leave the bay for what i assume was a break, only to return and assume at a nonshallont pace, i also observed this individual go to the toolbox in the bay to retrieved what looked like vice grips and a cresent wrench, this seemed odd for any task on my tire change. By the final completion of this visit i was less than pleased with this location and its services, 2 hours to complete the requested services, then i was told that i had a bad sensor and an error code. I walked my vehicle opened the hood as it had not been secured, i walked around to inspect my tires, aggrevated, i left the location, i noticed the tire display on my dashboard and an immediate right pull of the front end while driving. I was told that i had a bad sensor in my tire. I went to a tire shop in town, the service technician checked all tires, and we discovered that a valve stem was replaced on the tire that supposedly had a bad sensor, and upon checking he discovered all tire sensors where operational, so he had another technician check my tires, all of which where over inflated by at least 5 psi then required, air pressure was adjusted, sensors reset, no error reading on the dash board. Jiffy lube replaced the valve stem, why, i dont know, the employee lacked the intestinal fortitude to inform the customer of this fact as it occured. I believe that i will no longer recommend this location to any potential customer, the best service for this organization can be obtained at the peger location, i have had my family members tires done at this location in under 40 minutes. read more
