They installed them, but didn't set the PSI to the standard 32psi they are supposed to be at. I got my vehicle with all tires at different pressures. Got a flat tire, and was well within the warranty of the tires, they could not fix the flat, or "did not have another tire in stock" of the same ones. Come to find out, they had 4 tires in stock, but the only way to get the ONE, I had to buy all 4. I paid for all 4 because I literally had no choice as my car was on a complete flat. They called me and changed TPMS monitors on the wheels, but apparently they didn't do that correctly either because my TPMS light is still flashing AND all 4 tires are at different pressures AGAIN. These guys are a SCAM, do not go here if you value your money and your time. Complete failure both times.

Unfortunately I was charged over $3000 for the studs, and the stud pattern was very sparse, about 1/3 or 1/4 of the studs you see on a tire in a showroom. The manager bragged about how rapidly the tech was able to install the studs on 28 tires. Now that the tires are on the buses, it will be difficult to add enough studs to make a difference on icy roads. Also the manager wanted to pick up the check personally rather than have us send it to the parent company address on the bill.

The helpfulness and wanting to keep customers through superior service no longer exists at the Fairbanks Alyeska, from my experience. **If you want to buy tires from them, don't do it based on their various warranties and free fixes. They have lost the ability/willingness to service problems with their tires, as the problems happen.** If you buy tires from them and expect service, be aware of the following: 1. If you have a problem develop in the middle of the day, they will tell you they can't help you. I was told one time that they couldn't even spare someone to put air in a tire going flat so that I could make it to someone else for a fix. 2. You will need to be willing to get there 1 to 1 1/2 hours before they open to stand in line to possibly get seen that day, no matter what the issue with your tires. 3. If you are able to leave your car there for the day or a couple days, then they can service your tire problem. If you only have one car and can't leave it there, forget it.

Drive 6 hours to Anchorage to the dealership. I called up American Tire & Auto, and they got me in IMMEDIATELY and fixed my problem! At first, they billed me for an hour of labor but it only ended up taking 30 minutes so they discounted that off my bill which I wouldn't have known the wiser!! We were going to go to the Wholesale up the street for my husband's winter tires but will be coming back here even if it's more expensive. On the day of my appointment somehow someway I wasn't on the list to get it done. I went to another mechanic and got an inspection turns out the brake hose was leaking and I told them I had already gotten it done so I went back to American tire and auto and they fixed it but once I got back home I looked at the brake fluid reservoir and it was basically empty. Now forwarding 6 months later from my initial repair I took it to another mechanic and turns out they never changed out the struts because they are failing somehow someway OEM struts are bad.

One thing that really stood out was that Midas actually began working on my vehicle right at my scheduled appointment time. They also performed a thorough test drive to ensure everything was working properly and good to go before returning my vehicle back to me. Dodged the work ALL DAY LONG and then tried to pull my truck in at the end of the day and hold it over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Trust the reviews and just don't do it. Noticed bumper in the rear has a huge gap where it connects and they refused a warranty inspection for this supposedly cracked engine. Do not bring any car here for maintenance

I left that establishment qith low tire pressure trident symbol yet on and drove to tire place where old rotted "new" tires two of them were placed on My car from Stuff Mart. Check tire dates prior to purchase. I do not recommend anything from University Chevron or Stuff Mart.
