Their response is sad. They quoted me $150 to install radio then charged $225 because they said they needed a different adapter to make steering wheel controls work. They only partly worked because they were not hooked up right. They said I had no camera. Yet later said original had been removed. Said they didn't want to put in new radio but they were the ones who talked me into it after I asked for my original to be replaced. They wanted $550 for a radio that sells for $280. Only reason for multiple messages is because they would never answer. I was unaware they had taken out my original camera until I asked them to reattach it as Honda had said when they installed stereo and camera that they cut a wire. When I took it in they said they would reattach camera and fix cord an hour later they said they couldn't find it would have to get a new one would probably have it next day as he was going to orange. Said it should be installed in a few days. Waited a few days when I didn't hear back then contacted them. It was a week later they decided to not fix their mistakes. The pictures speak for the work they do. All I asked them to do was fix cord they cut and put back in camera they removed without permission. I didn't even ask them to install stereo correctly or fix cords they left hanging and loose. They never once said they didn't want to help me or have my business until they refused to fix their mistakes. read more

I was having issues with finding a place to install my amp and sub for my new gti. These guys gave me an amazing deal on install recommended a LC2 to help with some issues that I had heard about with the gtis and aftermarket systems. Also after we installed we found out there was an issue with my sub and they helped me out with another awesome deal for a new one. They quoted the lowest price which was $100. Another local shop asked for $300 so I went with Mobile Sound Concept. The job ended up being way more difficult than they expected and took twice as long. I respect that they didn't ask for more money and am happy with the quality of their work. Took our truck in for a new audio system and backup camera to be connected through our cars unit. They hooked it up fine, but the microphone for the voice commands didn't stick (because they didn't take the time to clean that small portion of the window (and now it won't stick at all) and the backup camera looks like I did it myself, which isn't cool at all. We went back to have both items fixed and the backup camera changed out which took several hours. Just wasn't that impressed. read more

Update 9/20: You get what you pay for! Extremely cheap products and extremely cheap craftsmanship. I didn't realize the poor quality of products and work I had until I went to a quality shop. The staff is nice as I said, but after all said and done, Walmart carries the same products. So if you are looking for cheap this is the place to go! The final straw was when I finally went to upgrade to a quality system the thing we saw when we pulled the door panel off. A speaker had gone bad with in a month of purchasing, when I went to have it replaced they put in a completely different speaker than what I bought. Probably just an extra one laying around. I may not have spent a lot here, but I expected to at least get what I paid for. Disgraceful! I went back to Mobile Sound Concept after my first experience with them, this time I had a much different one. I was getting lights wired and racket switches installed on my truck. When I went to pick up the truck the rocker switches were not installed in the location that I had asked. When they explained that they had to cut the opening larger and THEY decided that since they had to cut the opening that if later on I needed to replace them, it would be easier to replace the now 2 panels on the side they had to cut. It was nice of them to consider that, but as the paying customer that is my choice, not theirs. I bought these rocker switches specifically to go in the location I choose, the location we agreed upon when I dropped the truck off. They never called to as if I was ok moving them! I am not ok moving them, I am ok with them cutting the other panel. What I am not ok with is now I have to buy and replace the two panels they cut and then still run the wires to the panel I want the switches on. Hopefully they left enough wire (I'm sure they didn't). I am very disappointed. I paid for a project & did. It get what we agreed on or even a phone call to discuss what was taking place on my own vehicle. read more

The service and price is by far the best that's out there! I purchased an 09 Mitsubishi Lancer and the key fob wasn't working and the dealership was looking to charge me about 400 for a new one. All I needed was a remote to lock and unlock my car. Gave mobile sound concert a call and the owner drew up a great option of just getting an alarm system which would be cheaper and have an added feature. I also gave him a call on a Saturday morning and informed him that I have kids so I wouldn't be able to get down there. He offered to pick up my car from so I can have it all done by end of day. This is a great place to get Subwoofers installed. I brought all my equipment to them and they took me in 30 minutes before they closed. I was told it would be an 1 1/2 hour wait which was amazing of them to stay late to help me. The car ended up taking 40 minutes longer then usual, but it was worth it. When I heard the building rumble, I knew the car was finished. I walk into their garage to see how nice and clean the system was installed. They didn't even have to take out the stereo to install the Subs. I was very impressed with their work. I wanted to get a Bluetooth set up for my Accord but didn't want to mess with the stock stereo in any way. At first an FM transmittor was recommended but I'm iffy about using anything with radio frequencies because I don't want to compromise sound quality. The owner recommended the iSimple adapter for my Honda which now allows me to have Bluetooth media and phone calls with my stock set up! The call quality is great and so is the sound quality.
