Prior to using them, I received several quotes from my repair through Yelp, as well as the Nissan dealership. The quote from 1st Choice was by far the best, and half the amount quoted by the dealership. I selected 1st Choice and scheduled the repair date. The work was completed to my satisfaction. I want to mention that the mechanics are very knowledgeable and extremely professional. I would highly recommend 1st Choice for your automotive needs.

I became a customer / client of 1st Choice Autoworks through Chris Tusow at SubiWorks, next door…read more Chris has been the only mechanic to mod, work on, or do anything with my heavily modified, camping, overlanding, off-roading builds...I'm really particular and developed a really close working relationship and friendship with Chris. Last year, he decided to branch off and focus primarily on mods, custom builds, and speciality work on Subarus whiling changing the name of the business to RFC Industries. In doing this, he sold the service side (oil changes, tire rotations, basic repairs, etc.) of his business to 1st Choice Autoworks. So I've been coming to them for the non-off roading specific stuff that Chris still does for me. Luke and everyone else here is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and professional. This past weekend, I panicked since I'm leaving for an extended work trip (1.5 months) which involves my heavily modded Subaru Forester and I had an axle issue days before I was supposed to leave. I texted Chris over the weekend and he said come to 1st Choice by 8:00am on Monday. I didn't have an appointment, and just showed up. And this isn't my style. I'm usually so highly organized and do my best to be respectful, schedule appointments, and go through the proper channels. But I woke up at 6:00am and was in Murrieta by 8:00am. I explained my situation and they were so accommodating and understanding and kind. It took all day but they helped me out and got my car back in good health and I'm so thankful they were cool with me just showing up. This shop is trustworthy, professional, and now is really familiar with off-roading and modded, lifted Subarus due to SubiWorks' and Chris' involvement. Please give these guys your business if you're in the area. They also work on non-Subarus. Thank you, 1st Choice dudes. I appreciate you!

I love the friendly service here over all others & the early bird drop off has helped so much when my work schedule keeps me from a weekend service. They are a very understanding establishment that calls you directly if they become aware of any concerns with your vehicle. The location is between car dealerships on ynez & you could stay in the lobby while you wait on vehicle to be serviced or walk/uber to the mall to wait. They are efficient & quick with services like oil changes/smog checks. I used to purchase tires here, but I am not sure if this is something they still provide since I haven't needed tires recently. I only found out how bad of a job they did once I took the van to a mobility dealer for routine maintenance. They had to drop the subframe to install the transmission, and when they put the subframe back on they overtorqued the bolts and incorrectly installed the spacers. So now I have to have a body shop re-weld new nuts onto the subframe, costing me thousands of dollars. So, if they are magically still around, I would love to know!

The kind receptionist at Carmax Service referred me to this shop that is an authorized mechanic who works under Carmax's extended warranty program. Anthony efficiently ran the codes as my dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree. The lights eventually went way, but after he ran them again, he recommended I get the battery replaced. He found out how much the battery was by calling the dealer, and some after market spots. He recommended that I DIY which I normally do with battery replacements. He even topped off my oil as it was a quart low. After I got the battery replaced at O'Reilly, I came back, Anthony ran the codes, and it was all clear and not indicating anything of concern. I will only go to this shop from now on, as Anthony seemed to really care, and go out of his way to assist me even though his shop got no monetary benefits this time around. But, he treated and handled my siutation in a manner that I was very pleased, so I will definitely go back.

The workmanship was excellent, and the car came out clean. Unfortunately, I later got a rock crack in my windshield. Frank was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He responded quickly to messages, answered all of questions, and worked with me to keep the cost down. He gave a very fair price on a new windshield, recalibration, and reapplying the XPEL XR Plus windshield tint. What stood out most was the staffs professionalism, transparency, and customer service. Frank was upfront about all options, explained the difference between OEM and aftermarket glass without any pressure, and it was very easy to make the decision that made the most sense. It's hard to find a shop that genuinely cares about taking care of its customers, and Faith Auto Glass has earned my business. If you're looking for quality tint or auto glass work, I highly recommend them. I'll definitely be coming back for future projects.

He gave me JR's phone number, so I gave him and call and booked an appointment to bring my car in the following week. I live about 50 miles away, but I'm not afraid of driving long distances for solid work. I also own a business so I love connecting with other business owners who are really good at their trade / industry and learning about how they handle their workflow. JR was super kind and kept me informed the entire time. Carlos, one of the employees is awesome too. They helped me with everything I needed to get done in terms of electrical on my Datsun...from backlights, censors, gauges, reviving a working OEM vintage tape deck, and much more. The whole process took about a week. JR and Carlos also installed a new dash cam on my Subaru Forester. I was able to hang out at the shop, get to know them, meet Coco, and chop it up with them. I just have to say WOW!! Wait until you see and feel the difference!…read more I bought my place a few years back and every year when it starts getting hot I dread it. My kids and I will run the air rarely, only on the hottest of days/nights or mostly sleep downstairs half naked when we want to have a lower utility bill or save the planet. I was talking to my friend who owns a large commercial building about saving money, going solar, etc. He told me he was tinting thousands of square feet of his windows because of the energy savings and short time frame for a significant return on his investment. He referred me to R|C who is now helping homeowners and residential customers achieve similar savings! R|C returned my call promptly and basically answered all of my questions as well as gave me an easy to understand tutorial about window films. I didn't know the type of film and the type of glass need to be considered for not only the highest energy savings but also for safety reasons. Too many people consider the darkness of the tint but not the properties of the tint. If you put the wrong type of tint on the windows the heat can't dissipate properly and the window can crack. Some tints are more reflective than others and some tints are clear but reject more heat so it won't alter one's beautiful view! The installer came out to my house and was very punctual. He had all of the tools and didn't require anything of me to get started. Sometimes people want to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, plug in their equipment using your extension cords, etc. R|C was self contained, locked, cocked and ready to rock! This dude looked like Picasso/Bruce Lee/80's break dancer as he bobbed and weaved, washing and scrubbing the glass! After getting it ready he applied the tint with painstaking detail given the large arch window he was working on. All in all I probably had 11 windows tinted that face the sun. It probably took him @ 3 hours to do them all. My french doors were a bit of a bear but he was good natured through it all. I'm. A big fan of being meticulous and so is R|C. As he said, "you look out of your windows everyday. If I use the wrong film or apply it incorrectly you'll see it and then your talk about it so it behooves me to do it right the first time." Wise words my friend. At the end of the day my house feels 10-15 degrees cooler! My electricity bill is lower and I have a little more privacy given the level of exterior reflectivity. Look at me sounding like a pro! Thanks R|C for a job well done. I'll show and tell everyone! If you are considering ways to cool down your house call R|C Window Films and have them tint your windows. Start with all of the windows facing the sun first if you need to break it up in to phases. It is relatively inexpensive and when it is done right the first time you'll thank me!

I 've brought my 2003 Toyota Sequoia here a couple of times, and the service has been nothing short of amazing. Since it's an older vehicle, I once had my sunroof get stuck open right when heavy rain was coming. He was literally about to close up shop but stayed an extra hour just to help me out. He made sure to get the sunroof closed just in time before the rain came in. That level of dedication and willingness to go above and beyond really says everything about the kind of service you'll get here. More recently, I took it in to get help with my trunk and lock actuator, and once again I couldn't be happier with the experience. The customer service was excellent from start to finish--very professional and detail-oriented. They took their time to properly diagnose and fix the issue instead of rushing through it, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the pricing was very fair. I had a great experience with this shop. I usually don't take the time to post reviews but they deserve it. I must start by saying that I got quote from different shops in the area and even though they were not the cheapest, their price was more than fair. The reason I chose this place was because their professionalism. They were very respectful and answered all my questions over the phone before even discussing a possible appointment. After bringing my vehicle over and getting a radio and back up camera installed on my Mercedes ml350, they took the time to go over the features of the radio, helped me pair up my phone and once again answered all my questions about this new radio. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!! The owner is an absolute joke of a man, let alone businessman which becomes painfully obvious within minutes of dealing with him. His son will authorize quotes that sound great right up until the work is done and its time to pay. At this point all of a sudden the son or "employee that offered this price" no longer works for the establishment and he is in no way liable to honor said price. Dare you even ask, the cops will be called on you immediately which is honestly pretty comical considering hes the size of a small bus. This man is a complete punk turd and I'm genuinely surprised he has any positive reviews at all. This is a great business that is well maintained and the professionalism demonstrated by the staff was above reproach. I took my 2002 Explorer in for an upgrade and MSC did a fantastic job of helping me outfit the best system for my vehicle that was within my personal budget limitations. I delivered my vehicle to them on Saturday at 1000 and they were done by 1:00. The system sounds really nice and the woofer added a little swag to the entire setup. Went to this place last month as a walk-in customer. I was greeted by Bill who was very knowledgable and professional. I told him that I was looking for a setup for my teenager daughter. Bill came up with an affordable system for my budget. No pressure to buy stuff and he gave me a few options. Bill scheduled a convenient install time for me, as I have a busy schedule. My experience with this shop was more the 5 Stars. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcome. It almost felt like I was dealing with family. They listened to what I needed done in my car, went outside took a look at my car and explained to me a lot of things I didn't even know about my own car. After all that we started to talk about money, and come to find out it was the less expensive quote I got out of 4 shops I visited. Nabeel was really honest and helpful. I had to have a interlock device installed in june. The first shop I took it to screwed up my air conditioning, but these guys are great. They were quick and professional, and even took time (for free) to give me some piece of mind and check my iid before I took a long road trip. They are nice, friendly and good at what they do. I am glad I have someone in my corner to help me each month to re-calibrate the stupid interlock device. Do not use anything but a SmartStart device, and if you are anywhere near escondido, go to these guys for the install/calibration! Thanks guys! read more

I brought my BMW X3 in for an aftermarket radio so I could listen to Sirius XM, The price was right and was installed quickly. I returned to their shop due to some problems of it not being a BMW radio which they quickly resolved, and most recently a reception problem which as their tech. found out was a up-date problem with Sirius ZM. Was introduced to Bob through Nick from dead eye tint in Temecula who recommended Bob's services. My cars touch screen, which controls the radio, rear view camera, GPS etc, shut off while driving and would not turn back on. I took it to Bob's shop and he reassured that we would figure out what was wrong. Less than an hour later I get a call that he not only figured out what was wrong but that it was fixed and ready to go! He was extremely professional and efficient and had me on my way in no time. I shopped online and a went to couple other shops and decided to have MSC do the work for me as the price was very fair and the service Bill and his son give is outstanding. I purchased a dvd and an amp and sub package it looks and sounds good. The only knock I will say is I wish they would have a better waiting area as I got a little bored but talking to Bill was entertaining when he wasn't busy. Got a backup camera installed in my 2012 Civic. I already had a compatible head unit, so the install was fast and easy! The guys were honest, reasonable (price-wise), super nice, and the install was very clean. Overall, I'm really happy with the work they did and would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a backup camera installed! Probably stereo too, but didn't get one installed, so I can't really speak to that. Great job, guys! read more

I came in on Saturday and had them install a JL audio Sub and amp as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday. They were so helpful and they even managed to give me free installation. Bill and the crew are great. We purchased a stereo with back up camera in Jan. 2018. Things happened and decided to remove the radio. Bill was very patient with us and removed it at no cost. I had them install a front camera addition to my 2019 Tundra and it came out fantastic. Very Professional and looks like it came from the factory. This shop is the most incredible shop with the best customer service I have ever encountered hands…read moredown the best. They installed my L7 kicker 2400 watt subwoofer and amplifier. I brought them the equipment and found out my amplifier which is brand new in the box wasn't any good. That was not a problem at all they had the exact one I needed in stock. I simply returned the other amplifier to where I bought it from which happened to be an online store. I was blown away when they fired that bad baby up and we tested it with TOOLS 46 and 2. It definitely passed the test they did such a clean job didn't charge me an arm and a leg and they had a completely done within an hour and a half. I highly recommend and I would not hesitate to be a return customer.
