I know my family and I will be going to Aldo for years to come. Before finding Aldo, I was going to a well-known, high-end salon on PCH in Newport Beach. Somewhere along the way, they stopped listening to what I wanted. My hair always looked great when I walked out of the salon, but the moment I washed it myself, I realized the cut just wasn't right. Either it wasn't a good cut, or it simply didn't suit my face. I'm a busy person--I don't have time to spend every morning styling my hair just to make a haircut work. He's genuine, straightforward, and refreshingly honest--no fluff, no sales pitch, just someone who truly cares about doing great work. It was great. For the color, she said that a lighter color might not actually look the best on me and a subtle brown might be better! I was pretty down for whatever she thought looked good so I trusted the process again. Let me tell you... this subtle brown looked so good with the cut. Also, my hair? Soft as HECK. It was kinda gritty before so I was shook when I touched my hair after the appt. She chatted with me lots and also gave me space too. It was a great balance and also she answered my questions!! I always have so many questions and she answered them all for me!! Including... how to style my hair because I suck at those things. I'll take any advice and tips I can get.
