Allan did my balayage back in January, and I came back 8 months later for a color touch-up and haircut. I really loved how my hair turned out both times! The touch-up refreshed my color beautifully and everything looks so natural and fresh. Definitely recommend Allan!

I've been a loyal customer for 5 years, and I can confidently say this is one of the best barbers around. His technique is sharp and efficient, his knowledge is solid, and he has a great eye for style and aesthetics. I always walk out feeling fresh and clean. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and he's also straightforward, friendly, and easy to talk to. I have been to other places (even Korean places) for perms and they was never suited to my input / preference. Moc is seriously skilled and very knowledgeable about what kind of cuts / perms fit to your own hair type and head shape and it shows. The picture below shows the second cut after a perm and you can see how nicely the wavy hair starts to take shape even after a haircut. Please if you're ever considering switching to a more personalized haircut or perm, don't hesitate to try him out.

I loved this tiny studio! Immediately after showing my inspiration pictures, Allen knew exactly what I wanted and got to work. I was very satisfied with the sheer precision and speed of which he did my hair. My hair was long, and notoriously thick and plentiful, but his haircut makes it feel 10x lighter than it did previously. This was my third time trying a new colorist, and I'm so happy I finally found the right one! My first experience was with a non-Asian stylist. She did very fine highlights, but because my hair is naturally frizzy, the highlights were almost invisible. It just looked like my hair had naturally become dry and brassy. The second time, I thought a Chinese stylist would understand Asian hair better. Unfortunately, the bleach wasn't lifted enough, and once the color faded, my hair turned green. It looked terrible. This time, I actually asked Allen why that happened before, and he immediately explained that it was because the hair hadn't been lightened enough before toning. That gave me a lot of confidence because he clearly understood the issue instead of just guessing. One of my friends has been getting highlights from Allen for a long time, and her color always lasts for months. Even after the toner fades, the underlying blonde still looks beautiful instead of turning weird colors. Before we started, I also asked Allen how long this color would last. He confidently told me I wouldn't need to color my hair again for at least a year. I loved that confidence--and after spending six hours carefully working on my hair, he absolutely delivered. The color is exactly what I wanted, but what impressed me the most was the placement and thickness of the highlights. Nothing looks too chunky or too fine. Allen is an amazing at cutting and coloring hair. He always does such an excellent job getting the right hair cut for your face shape and the right color for your skin tone. I can always count on him to make me look better and follow through with any requests that I ask him to. However, if you ask him to do what he thinks looks good, you can count on him. Yet, I still had to pay a whooping $90 for it. The owner of the business also seems to be gaslighting and bullying anyone who gives them a negative review on here. I will not be recommending anyone nor will I be returning.

When I asked why the price was so high, they pointed to the menu and said a men's haircut costs $60. But my son is 10 years old, not an adult. There was no consideration for children or for a regular customer. It also felt like they suddenly did not understand English when I questioned the price, even though they had no problem communicating when it was time to charge me. Leon, who cut my son's hair, is amazing--kind, professional, and very talented. My issue is with the manager, front desk, and owners. Their pricing and customer service felt unfair, unreasonable, and very stingy.

My daughter and I had another wonderful experience here! so friendly, the atmosphere is amazing, and you can immediately tell that the barber is a true expert with years of experience.
