I was craving boba while I was visiting Tempe, so I dropped by Mochi Fresh. I ordered a regular Signature Milk Tea with two types of boba. I think it was strawberry, and mango, which was pretty good and chewy. The milk tea boba was refreshing although a little watered down. There were a few tables and lots of people inside. Lots of people were picking up boba orders. They also offer fruit teas, smoothies, and bubble tea and mochi ice cream as well as some appetizers like popcorn chicken. They also have two cute boba figurines by the door you can take pictures next to. Stay thirsty my friends!
I used to live close by and this place was always around the corner. They pride themselves for their fresh ingredients and healthier drinks, which is hard to find and definitely a growing trend in the boba world! While they specialize in unique housemade pearls, it can lose the nostalgia associated with tradition tapioca pearls...not a bad thing, just different as long as you know what to expect. There could be more tea variety but the flavors they do have are tasty and pair well with similar flavored pearls - something most tea shops can't do! As for service, I was a regular and picked up several stamp cards and oddly enough the owner was sometimes reluctant to redeem them. Understandable because I would come frequently, but on the other hand, that's the point! Rant aside - still overall recommend trying them for a fresh perspective on a classic tradition.
I absolutely love the boba here! I enjoyed my brown sugar bubble milk boba with almond milk last night, it's usually my go to! Sometimes it comes out sweeter than usual, so this makes it the perfect dessert after dinner. The boba is chewy all around, it's my favorite place in town. The service is friendly and there's plenty of sitting inside.
First time at Mochi fresh, I got the mango fruit tea and the real taro milk tea. They have actual pieces of taro in their real taro milk tea, that threw me for a loop since I'm not used to that. I liked the milk tea without the taro pieces, I didn't care much for the texture. Their mango fruit tea with the mango boba was really good.
This place was fun! I really loved the decor, capybaras everywhere! They had lots of menu items to choose from, a few tables to sit at and the music was fun too! There is also merchandise to purchase. I decided to try their signature milk tea which came with a few different flavored bobas, including mango and strawberry. I think I also did 50% sweet. It was nice, refreshing. The people working were also really friendly too. I definitely want to come back and try the food they had there. It all sounded delicious.
Time to update my review! My boba sistah and I had brought up this spot during our hike and so we decided to visit after. The shop was a little busy with people sitting at the tables inside and some people waiting for their drinks. I got their brown sugar milk tea which comes with boba, 50% sugar and less ice. It's a beautiful drink and it was def on the sweeter side due to the brown sugar, so I would order less sweetness next time. Or try one of their other drinks like their signature or Thai tea. The bobaistas were very friendly and they have a rewards program that uses your phone number. If you bring your recipe next door to BirdTalk, you get 15% off your meal, such a deal! I came back after dinner to buy drinks for my family and they were prepared quickly. Love that they make their own boba, it's delicious and tastes chewy and fresh. Def would come back when I'm in the area!
One of the few places you will find that make their own Boba in house from scratch. The teas are excellent. The fruit tea is perfect. This is one of the cheaper Boba spots in Arizona as well. Pricing is very reasonable. And you can bring your receipt from this place into their neighbors, bird talk chicken shop and get 15% off!
Mochi Fresh is the absolute best! I've been going here since 2019 and their boba is better than any other boba I've tried in Arizona. It's made fresh in-house, perfectly soft and chewy, and comes in different flavors like strawberry and mango. My favorite drink is the strawberry bubble milk but substitute with mango boba!
I came in Sunday evening with a friend and I got a taro milk tea at 50% sweetness. It wasn't the usual purple color, it was more of a while color, and it had brown sugar boba. It was pretty good and the cost wasn't bad at $6. There are a few tables to sit at and some cute decor in the shop. The music was a little loud for trying to have a conversation though. The drinks were ready within a few minutes.
This is me favorite boba place ever! The tea (caffeinated and non caffeine) are delish and the boba is always fresh like their namesake! Yuuuuummmmmm! They've freshened up their menu too and I love the watermelon oat milk bubble milk drink! read more

I absolutely love Mochi Fresh. Their boba had the best QQ texture and all of their drinks are extremely delicious! Their tea is of best quality and you can absolutely tell that all of their flavors are made with real ingredients and not just syrups. It's rare to find a boba spot that makes their own boba but what's even crazier is that they have different boba flavors as well! 100/10 recommend and it's always a go-to spot for me when I'm in the area. Their service is super fast! You get your drinks within just a few minutes and the place always has plenty of parking with a good amount of tables to sit and enjoy your drinks. Their mascot statue in the front is also a cute photo op to support their business and I can't wait to see them expand into more stores! read more
This was my first time in Phoenix and was recommended here for boba by a friend. There was plenty of tables and seats to chill and enjoy your drink. Anyways...this was one of the best recommendations I had so far! The brown sugar boba had great flavor and the perfect chewiness. I had the wintermelon green tea with brown sugar boba which was one of my favorites. Refreshing and delicious which is perfect for a hot day in Phoenix being 95+ all day. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture but the following day, I had a Banana Bubble Milk tea and you can tell for sure that they use real ingredients. This literally tasted like a blended up banana which helped out before my hike up to Devil's Bridge. These drinks are affordable for their quality and I'd come back here in a heartbeat. read more
Stopped by this place on a whim and it didn't disappoint. It's a vibe inside, the menu is expansive, the service is great, and the pricing is fair. We all tried different drinks and all three were great. I personally went for a classic with the brown sugar milk tea. 12/10 would recommend. read more

Wanted to try a little bit of everything. The SIGNATURE MILK TEA is one of their popular drinks with 3 kinds of boba. The boba flavors in the drink were MANGO, STAWBERRY, & I couldn't even tell what the 3rd one was. I felt like it CLASHED with the creamy tea flavor. I thought it was going to be the traditional brown sugar & crystal boba. Not sure if they will allow you to request or swap out the options. Next time I would go for their fruity teas The MONT BLANC CAKE was pulled out of the freezer. It might be meant to thaw a bit before eating because the frozen texture was difficult to enjoy. All the different components of the dessert just blended together. I couldn't taste the matcha from the red bean. My favorite thing I got was the PRICKLY PEAR MOCHI DONUT. The texture was chewy & the perfect amount of sweetness. I thought it was a bit odd that they didn't have a restroom for guests when it's a place people will hang out for a period of time. read more

As someone who hasn't had much of an introduction to Boba tea, this was the perfect spot to try. I was unsure on what to get but I love matcha so I went with the matcha bubble tea. One word to describe it is DELICIOUS. The matcha was a perfect sweetness and the popping boba in the bottom added that special touch. I also ordered the strawberry boba tea which tasted exactly like strawberry milk it was great. The vibe of the store was so cute with light up signs and posters my friend and I decided to enjoy our boba tea in the store just because it was so fun inside. The service was quick considering it was pretty crowded when I decided to go give it a try. I definitely would recommend Mochi Fresh if you are looking for a new boba spot! read more

Mochi Fresh has been on my list for a while of places to check out. It sounded really cool that they make their mochi ice cream and some of their boba too! I ordered a signature fruit tea, a mont blanc cake, and some mochi (black sesame and matcha). Everything was very good, but considering there are so many other good boba places in the area, I can't say that the boba tea at this place was as memorable as some of the others. Also, the mochi ice cream were good, but the ones I bought at the grocery store were just as good and had similar flavors. I had never tried a mont blanc cake before (it is like frozen whipped cream with frozen matcha frosting mixed with red bean on top) but it was very good. read more

Best boba in town!!!! I have posted about Mochi Fresh previously, and I gave it a five star review then after only going once. Now I've been going multiple times a week at times and it is my new favorite Boba spot. The real fruit in their tea makes the drinks and their homemade mango Boba is to die for. I am also in love with the watermelon oat milk drink when you want a more milky drink that is refreshing and won't hurt your stomach. The staff are all extremely sweet and welcoming, I've never had a negative experience and I'm always excited to go. I am looking forward to going there for study time as the school year had started. I randomly stumbled across this Boba Tea shop this week because I was craving something chilled to combat the heat. Mochi Fresh has a HUGE menu so there is a lot of variety in their drinks. I tried their peach fruit tea with regular honey boba and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. The space itself is quite large and very clean. I would definitely come back especially if I needed a quiet space to study. read more

my favorite place for boba!!! it's called mochi fresh for a reason- they only use homemade boba, fresh milk, real fruit, and organic juice in their drinks. my personal favorites on their menu are the banana bubble milk, strawberry bubble milk, and watermelon slush. the service is always great, they are very friendly and quick to make drinks. if you choose to enjoy your boba inside, you can watch tv or browse their cute selection of merchandise. overall 10/10! read more

Did I drive 30 min for Boba YES I DID Please note, I would do it again because this place was delightful When we first arrived you're properly greeted by these 2 life sized super cute Mochi Statues I mean obviously this is a photo opp and everyone needs to play their part We ordered some Mochi balls I'm usually not a fan of these as they typically taste like sweet flavored playdoh but these were actually pretty good and we got an assorted flavor of them so it was nice to try some different ones In addition, we grabbed several drinks If you follow me at all you know I'm all about sampling and want a sip and taste of everything Honestly there wasn't a beverage I preferred over the others they all have a strong baseline taste which leaves me to believe overall all drink choices here would be good We also grabbed an appetizer which was the calamari or squid. I really can't describe the flavor and concept behind it all It was just really really good It was a fusion of calamari, with the illusion of Mac and cheese with what looked like shredded bacon on top Check out the pic but you should definitely give it a try We also snagged some matcha cheesecake I'm not a fan of matcha but the cheesecake was quite yummy and didn't have any grainy texture Or flavoring I love the little mochi faces that they put on your cups it's super cute read more
Love their homemade boba with the right amount of chewiness and sweetness. Got their signature milk tea with 50% sugar and I enjoy drinking it and eating the boba. I also order their signature mixed fruit tea which has two large chunks of the fresh fruit and well made. Love both of my drinks and recommend for really good bobas here. read more

My favorite boba shop in AZ! I appreciate and value how everything is made fresh, in-house. This is the only boba that I don't feel any guilt for drinking multiple times a week. If you're looking for genuine flavors made from the actual fruit and real taro itself then you're really going to enjoy the drinks here. ++All the employees are so nice and the owner, AB, is so hospitable and always willing to strike up a conversation. Stopped by on Christmas day for a quick lunch and boba fixed. My husband was kind of skeptical because of the cheesy decor, but we are both impressed with the quality they provided. They use real fresh ingredients and not powders or flavors. Even the dumplings we got were hand made and not frozen. read more

[4.5/5.0] Oooofff, this place is nutty. I don't even get boba like that but dang theirs is good. If I'm getting bob with my tea, it'll be here for sure. However, I did not want my review of the milk tea to be sullied by the wonderful boba, so I still got my regular no sugar milk tea. I was very surprised by the quality of the tea. Reminds me of a less intense HK milk tea which is very nice. Yeah this place is legit. read more

BEST mochi and bubble tea in the valley (in my humble opinion). They make the boba fresh in store - excellent texture and perfectly cooked every time. They also offer popping bubbles, jellies, and my personal favorite, pudding. The tea is very flavorful, and sweetness is adjustable as well. The texture of the mochi is also fantastic, and contain various ice cream flavors. We chose one of each, and really enjoyed the mango mochi (probably because of that alliteration). Incredibly fast service, and extremely nice employees. I can't wait to be back! read more

To be clear, I thought his place was good. I ordered a peach fruit tea. Service was fast, parking is a parking lot which makes it easy and convenient. The inside decor was super cute and clean. I gave it 4-stars because my drink was really sweet, and the boba was a little too sweet. They do make their own boba here, which I thought was extremely cool. read more
Came here wanting to try this place, because they have Mochi. I order brown sugar milk tea and my fiancé has the real real taro milk tea and I order coffee milk tea to go. If you order some drinks make sure they give you the amount of boba would be the same because some drink they cut back on boba ( less boba on some drink) my fiancé taro got only about a couple of boba and when I ask the girl who made it , why is it less then the brown sugar boba, she says all her customers don't complain, I told her I am not complaining..,,I am asking why is it lesser then mine then she say it always been that way , I told her it's my first time here , if you would of told me this drink has less boba then usual then you should let all the customers know so if they like to have more boba then you can put more for them, that's being a good customer service instead of arguing with customer about boba.. The service was ok they have the girl speak threw a mic that sound so loud and she is also trying to sell you other thing as well. Overall this place is nice and friendly and ok customer service. I took away 1 star because they should be nice and explain why and offer the customer if they would like more boba and you can put in the drinks for them . read more

Wow this place was a great find. I got the taro smoothie for $6, and it was a nice and smooth blend of milk and fresh taro. It was so good!! My friend got the signature tea with 3 different types of boba. The boba was chewy and actually tasted like strawberry, mango, and brown sugar. Apparently the boba was handmade, which just made them even more impressive. Highly recommend checking out this place if you're ever in the Tempe area. read more

This place is amazing!! Their lil mochi balls are DIVINE! The perfect texture & certainly as the name implies-- fresh! Everytime I'm even close to the area, I make a point to stop here for their delicious banana bubble tea (50% sugar or less) bc nowhere gets banana tea quite as right. The egg pudding and mochi is the perfect combo. Other flavors I've liked are the mango bubble and the mango green tea. I want to try more but that banana bubble gets me every time! read more
