My friend and I noticed things have changed much with Melo Melo, so we walked acrossed the street and were deciding between HeyTea and Honeymee, but we were SO GLAD we went with Honeymee to sit inside at the cute table. The lady(owner?) was so sweet and of course, my OG Honeymee was sooo GOOD. My friend's yuju drink was so refreshing and yummy, too. Honeymee will be one of my very few best dessert spots and I won't forget to come back often.

They also have some items on the menu that other Honeymee's don't have. The employees here are also usually friendlier than some of the other locations. However, if you don't want to talk to anyone while ordering, a kiosk is available. Personally, my favorite item is the Sweetie, which has true milk ice cream drizzled with honey. The Honeymee -- true milk ice cream with honeycomb -- is also pretty good if you're into honeycombs. My bf's favorite is the Dear Caramel, which has a caramel drizzle topped with what is reminiscent of dalgona coffee bits. The milkshakes here are also a solid choice. While I'm still sad that my favorite and closest Honeymee location in Garden Grove closed a couple of years ago, the Irvine location is pretty reliable in terms of consistency and service.

For almost $17 for two drinks, I expected much better quality. I couldn't even finish the drinks and ended up throwing both of them away. If you're stopping by because of the Snoopy collaboration, the drinks are definitely photogenic. But if you're looking for good matcha, I personally don't think this place is worth it.

Never heard of this place, was introduced by one of our friends. Its easy to find in a shopping plaza. We ordered the fusion shaved ice in the "lovers" size, it easily fed 4 grown people. Now shaved ice doesnt usually have flavoring, just ice and condensed milk, but at Mochilatto, the ice is flavored with green tea or strawberry and it comes with fresh fruit, bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and red bean. But what made this shaved ice different from other places was the surprise in the middle. Two big scoops of Gellato!!! Any flavor you want, we ordered the red bean flavor and it was amazing. We also had assorted Mochi ice cream. Where they were hand made and had flavors that we didnt even think existed. Creme brulee, Peach, Toasted Almond, and Green tea was what we ordered and we were not disappointed, much better than the frozen stuff you buy at 99 ranch. Decor was fresh and simple. Very spacious and accomodating to large parties. very nice and up beat surrounding. and it was great for whether u wanted to hang out or just swing by and grab something to go. Customer Service was lively. Young kids doing most of the serving and pretty fast at it. we got our huge helping of shaved ice within minutes. Overall we think 4 stars is what is deserved! read more

Soooo, this is the first time I've been to this place and I can honestly say I will be coming back here for the mochi... even if its a bit expensive it's made in-house I think! It's a cute little shop with tables to sit and eat your food at in the front part of the store, while in the back section you can shop sweets. I came here with some friends who told me to get the mochi, claiming it was the best they've had. I tried a chocolate, pistachio, and mango. The chocolate and pistachio were great, but the mango was a bit too sweet for my liking...but then again I don't like mangoes unless I'm eating a fresh one. The place was kinda busy when we went, but the line seemed to go quickly enough... I'd really say the only real drawback to this place was that when we went to eat at one of the tables I sat down and put my arm in something sticky that had dried at the table. Maybe this isn't typical of this place but until I go again I'm gonna assume that next time I'd better ask for someone to clean the table first. read more

The dessert selections (Beard Papa's cream filled puffs, shaved ice, number mochis, gelato) are numerous, various, beautiful to look at and delicious to taste. Unfortunately I broke my cardinal rule of sticking to the specialty of a restaurant if they promote one. The shrimp fried rice was gooey and bland. The beef rice noodle dish was pretty good. The house dumplings were weak on taste also. The Miso soup was pretty OK. The shaved Ice bowl was with green tea flavored ice, red bean topping, and even a surprise dip of gelato in the center. The best shaved ice in town. I recommend getting the classic one. Condensed milk, read bean and mochi, just the way I like! Spacious dining to hang around with friends. Service is quite good and they serve food now. The rice pasta with ramen was really good and my friend liked the house special noodles. All in all, a one stop destination for food and dessert. When it comes to mochi... Mochilato.. You ARE the father.. of delicious mochi. Ok so I'll be honest, I'm a newbie when it comes to mochi. I was introduced to this place by a good friend and after trying it here, I'm obsessed with it. They have over a dozen flavors. I got the cookies and cream mochi. was seriously addicted to this place...then i nearly went bankrupt pretty good shaved iced, i always ask for more condensed milk and they give it for for free..but considering the price they should be able to afford it! it is very sugary, i like that, but i didnt appreciate the soggy mango and overly bitter kiwi i was given the last time i visited their mochilatos are alright, not my favorite all in all...decent place to go when ur craving something super sweet read more

I apologized and she kept saying something like "you turn it on, then you turn it off!!"... had 5 different flavors of the mochilatos and some shaved ice. plum wine was good. tiramisu, toasted almond, chocolate peanut butter were bleh. i can't even remember the 5th flavor. the shaved ice was flavorless and the red beans are not sweet. very beany. the gelato is not real heat-pasteurized gelato. it's just ice cream. if this place were half the price it would deserve 3 stars. read more

It may be a little bold to say, as we have eaten so many tasty things thus far, but it's in no small part because I've yet to find a bingsoo spot as good as them in the Bay Area! Not to mention the fact that the warm weather down gives me that much more of a reason (read: excuse) to keep coming back! Compared to the one in Costa Mesa, this Heybings is seems to be a bit smaller and the parking situation here isn't quite as easy (the parking lot has a lower level, but it can still fill up during peak hours). However, for whatever reason, this one feels a bit warmer and brighter (and just as cozy). As for the menu, it has all of the same delicious treats to offer - a terrific collection of their signature bingsoo flavors, including both their classic and seasonal offerings, mochi and liege waffles, coffees, and specialty lattes and drinks. The one thing I don't recall seeing listed that I remember from before is matcha, but I can't say I was looking for it either. -- MELON LIME BREEZE - Honeydew Base, Fresh Melons, Lime Zest, Condensed Milk, and Vanilla Ice Cream This is one of their specialty flavors that they rotate in, but they need to make this one of their regulars because it is SO GOOD! There is parking directly in front of the restaurant shared with the other businesses but it does tend to fill up. Underground parking is also available and is shaded. i really dislike leaving bad reviews.. but unfortunately today REALLY disappointed me…read more i ordered a strawberry matcha latte (something i've gotten here MANY times and enjoyed). it came out looking pale, discolored, tasted like dirty strawberry syrup milk, and nothing i have ever tasted here before. if it were a place i'd never tried before, id move on. i tried asking if they could add a little bit more matcha, but the boy just said no ? so i tried 5 min later with a different employee, and she acknowledged that it "usually doesn't look like that". she went on to say i'd have to pay for the extra matcha shot ON TOP of the $7.50 cost. she even tried saying that after mixing the matcha with milk, that's how the color would turn out ??? (it has NEVER been that light) i'm confused,. because if you yourself know that it doesn't look right, why should one pay an additional cost to have it be made correctly? overall the experience left a sour taste in my mouth and unfortunately i don't know if i'd come back. i'd warn customers before buying this so they know their lattes are not consistently made.

Some quality glaze, but not all flavors were winners.

Kiosks and online orders allow for efficient and fast service without the need for interaction. But there seems to be some issue with either the online system and orders, orders and staff, or a combination of all. Other coffee and drink places are able to efficiently do this, just wondering why there are always difficulties and rude attitudes/behaviors when customers have to ask the staff where their already-made drinks are.
