Had a great experience at Mochi. The food was delectable! We ended up going with the chicken hibachi, California roll with spicy mayo, and then it came with miso soup and a ginger salad. All in all the food is really good.! Wasn't able to finish it all so we did end up taking some home. Our server, Julie was amazing. She was really personable and was able to answer all my questions. Food and service is great if you come in and eat. But if you're ordering out they take 20 extra minutes from what they tell you when to come in and pick it up. So 40 min at least from the time of the call. It's happened more than 5 times. Every time I think it'll be different and I give them a chance. Called at 5:07 and I'm told 15/20 min. Well it's 5:39 and I'm still sitting in the lobby. Be prepared to wait a WHILE for a carry out. Only issue with this place. Other than that 10/10 read more

I really had high hopes for Mochi Sushi, based on the reviews. We came here for dinner. It's in a fairly run down strip mall. Inside the decor was simple but clean. The service was good and friendly. The food was average at best. We decided to get the hibachi. The salad was bland. The miso fairly typical (I mean most miso is), but the main course is what I'm basing the review on. I had the steak hibachi. It was overcooked and fairly tough. The noodles and fried rice lacked much flavor. The best part was the hibachi veggies. This, I actually liked. They were fresh and tasty. My husband felt similarly about the chicken and shrimp hibachi. Just average at best, lacking a lot of flavor and not great cuts of meat, chicken, etc. Sad because I wanted to love it. read more

I stopped by for lunch after seeing the high reviews on Google and was immediately seated in the almost empty restaurant. I tried the limited weekday lunch special of spicy salmon, spicy tuna rolls, miso soup, and a salad. The soup and salad were excellent. The spicy tuna roll was flat, and I would have liked the tuna to be a bit cooler. The spicy salmon was average. They have American wasabi, so no heat, no matter how much you pile on. No sushi bar seating but booth and flat tops available. Good service. It appeared clean. Maybe I should have gotten a higher-end roll. I probably would not return because I've had better sushi elsewhere. read more

We passed this place the other day and I was so excited to see a new place open I rushed over there a few days later. I noticed the prices were pretty fair, pretty reasonable for this type of food and I wanted to try their sushi as a carry-out before eating here since we did not have time for a dine-in experiences but I was anxious to find a new sushi spot. And...I have found one! This is a really cute place with quite a few tables in the dining room. It is very simple, and decorated with a lot of adorable cats, which they must like. They even seem to sell some cute cat cups, some children's forks and chop sticks. It is located right across from MJR movie theater. At first I wanted to just get a couple sushi rolls, but the rest of the food sounded so good per usual I over ordered to try a nice variety. We had the avocado roll, California special, and tempura California rolls. We also tried their spring rolls, chicken fried rice, and yakisoba noodles. Everything was so fresh and so good and the order came out pretty quickly since we were a walk-in and did not pre-order the food. This is hands down the best sushi restaurant in the area. We would love to try their udon, ramen, bibimbap, and more next. We also do hope to do a dine-in here soon as well. read more

After ordering Uber Eats from Mochi Sushi the previous night, I just had to take my family here so we could experience the best sushi in person. Mochi Sushi did not disappoint! We tried the Volcano Roll, Salmon Lovers, Tuna Lovers, Spicy Salmon, Yellowtail and the Trio. Each roll was as good as the next! The complimentary miso soup and salad was yummy and a very nice touch. Mochi Sushi is definitely my go to sushi spot. AMAZING FOOD! LOVE IT! Service is not so great though. The waiters and waitresses don't even speak to you except for nodding and staring at you. One waiter we had was great and very friendly. The atmosphere is dirty and not very welcoming. One booth had a teared up seat. Went with my husband for dinner a few nights ago. They seemed very busy, but we only had to wait a short while before being seated. We started off with complimentary miso soup and house salad. I think they have the best ginger dressing around, so good!! I would've liked extra, which I will order next time. Then we got our entrees. This is a new restaurant to our area, and I wasn't sure what to expect from a strip mall sushi place. I've tried different sushi each time I have been and so far I have enjoyed all of them. Nothing incredibly unique, but delicious none the less. I have not tried their hibachi yet but plan to soon. Our last visit was memorable due to our waitress being extremely stoic.
