Honeydew mochi donut with white chocolate drizzle and a gummy butterfly! 10/10; not too sweet, perfect mochi consistency.

Food ordered: (***corn dogs not pictured***) 1 Cheeto all-mozzarella corn dog 1 Cheeto all-mozzarella corn dog with extra Buldak sauce 1 Cheeto half mozzarella/half beef corn dog with extra Buldak sauce 1 Honeydew mochi donut Service: Mochinut always provides exceptional service to all its customers. We are always greeted immediately, and the employees are ready to take our orders as soon as we walk in. Ambiance: Neutral ambiance. Their decorations are always playful, colorful, and match the upcoming holidays. There are no chairs or tables to sit inside, so waiting customers will have to stand until their orders are ready. During weekends or rush hour, it may become really crowded and packed inside, which some customers may have to wait outside for greater comfort. Definitely a returning customer!

Their Korean corn dogs are soooo good. Small shop with no seating. They serve mochi donuts and some sweet drinks as well. My rating is specifically for the corn dogs, I love them so much

I've had the luxury of stopping by at the end of October. To be honest, my main draw here is always the Korean corn dog. The donuts are secondary (even though they are amazing too). I absolutely love the classic beef dog with potatoes in the batter...the crispiness of the fried potatoes with the greasiness of the hot dog....divine. There are a few different batter options and you can choose from hot dog, cheese, or both for the filling. There are also several different dipping sauces to pick from. The garlic aoli is my favorite. If you haven't had a Korean corn dog before-note that they do sprinkle the corn dogs with sugar. I always have to request light sugar, because otherwise the sweet is too much. But the sugar really does add something, so I can't fully skip it either. The donuts are amazing...light and chewy with delicious glazes and beautiful and clever details that match the season. Since the underlying donuts are all the same (I think?), the real magic comes in the toppings and glazes. These glazes change--I've never seen repeat flavors any of the times I've been here. And I've never tried a new flavor that I didn't like. Please note that they make the corn dogs to order, so there may be a bit of a wait...but it is more than worth it.

Updating my review from over 3 years ago! So they've definitely improved since opening! Lines are shorter and service is much faster. Staff is also friendly. I've been coming here quite often actually. I normally get their 1/2dz so that I can taste each of the different flavors they offer. Flavors are often rotating. I enjoy anything chocolate and their ube has become one of my go-to. For half the dozen it's about $16 and some change. The decoration on them are adorable. The flavors are great the chewy texture has been very consistent. Love gifting them to family/friends on special occasions or just because.

You wouldn't know it from my reviews but I am a sucker for dessert (more to come, promise)! If you've never had donuts, mochi, or mochi donuts... what are you even doing with life? These mochi donuts are phenomenal. There hasn't been a single flavor I've tried that I didn't like. Some may have been lighter on the flavor but I don't mind that. My only issue would be the mess on my finger when there's too much drizzle of flavor, but that's not necessarily a bad issue. I just hate messes. Today I got just a 3 pack, after we had dinner at Hino. I picked the Black Sesame Churro, Chocolate Funnelcake, and the Matcha. All yummy, my fave was the Black Sesame Churro-- then again, I always gravitate to Sesame flavors and especially anything churro flavored. There's just something about the texture... the chewiness of the mochi donuts that I love. Also, that they break into tiny donut holes basically and are so addicting and easy to pop into your mouth! With the right flavor, you've got yourself the perfect snack! Their Korean dogs are also good... it's a little (or a lot, depending how busy) wait for the dogs but it's worth it. At least you know it's fresh! I prefer just cheese but they also have the beef option for you...as well as different flavor/sauce choices. I've only ever ordered the drinks for my niece... the Brown Sugar one. She loved it. It was a little too sweet for me but it wasn't bad. Love the cute can-cups they come in! Maybe on my next visit I'll try the Coffee! Maybe... lol I mainly just go for the mochi nuts! Remember, this isn't your average donut. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Loved this place!! Great service, fast too. The place is small and quiet, it doesn't have any seating though which would be fine if it wasn't raining today and we could sit outside. But hey that didn't stop us from eating in the car. I've had Korean k dogs before but not like this! They were delicious, the drinks were really good as well. I definitely recommend this place if anyone wants to try a K dog and try out their sauces you can pick multiple ones if you'd like. They also sells a select few of drinks and they have mochinut donuts . I got to try some awesome food by donating toys for this event. I will be a frequent customer that's for sure. Thank you for being so nice and also for having a donation box for kids in need of a gift this year

Love this place! Me and my son's favorite place to get a Korean corn dog. They know how to do it right. From the texture to the taste. My son likes the original cheese with sugar no sauce. And I usually do the half dog half cheese wit sugar and buldak sauce with spicy mayo. Best to eat it while hot n fresh cus you get a nice cheese pull. And this is my first place I ever tried mochi donuts. I'm usually not into mochi but the texture mixed in with the donut texture is fun to eat. I like how you can just pull a ball and pop it in your mouth LOL. Chewy and soft at the same time. I think they have different flavors for each month. I just happen to go in April and I wasn't a fan of much of the flavors they had. But I've tried other flavors they had before and they are delicious. Service is always spot on. The place is small where you just order and go. No seating.

Located by Mayas Theater at Campus Pointe. Donuts are ok. Drinks are ok. Corndogs are ok. Nothing special.

Maybe I came on a bad day considering the stellar reviews. I love mochi donuts! I love the chewiness and slightly bouncy texture and their subtly sweet toppings. However, Mochinut was a huge letdown. It was a Sunday morning so I was the only one in the store. Service was quick, not unfriendly but very un personable. I wasn't thrilled with the choices, but I opted for the chocolate cherry. The donut was cold, felt like it had been in a refrigerator. It was hard, and lacked the bouncy chewiness that characterizes mochi donuts. The topping was good, not too sweet, and the chocolate and cherry were nice compliments. I'm going to have to return to try again, and perhaps try some of the Korean dog treats.

Service here is always great. The employees always have a smile on their faces and lots of energy (even close to closing hours). I love the variety of different flavors they offer. For the holidays it's always so cutesy inside.

A solid place to get a snack! The ube mochi boba was delicious. It might be a little too sweet but I expected it to be. The boba was soft and chewy. I also got the potato half beef/half mozzarella k-dog with the garlic mayo. If you're wanting to try the corndog, expect to wait a bit. However, it was freshly made, and I was able to get an amazing cheese pull with the mozzarella half. The hotdog/beef side was just okay. I've also tried their mochi donuts before and liked them--not too sweet but still flavorful. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, and it started getting a little busy. It's a small place with no seating, so people are in and out.

i love going here for their korean style corn dogs! so yummy if you're coming here for a sweet treat or savory treat. for the mochinut flavor, my staples are the cookies and cream, raspberry funnel cake, or matcha oreo. they have a fun, chewy texture but the frosting can be too sweet sometimes for me personally (i have a savory tooth). for corn dogs, i would recommend both i purchased below, and i usually get it with a side of garlic / spicy mayo sauce. plus, they are fresh and have a crispy outside with fluffy inside. also, great cheese pulls have come from these :)

The soup was AMAZING and I was surprised that I liked it so much because I usually don't like tofu. So, when we went this time to dine-in together, I decided to get that soup and my husband got the Oxtail soup (or something like that). As before, the beef tofu soup was DELICIOUS, but I will say that the soups come out piping hot which the server did warn us about. My favorites from the banchan were the kimchi, cucumber and sauce, and the noodles. As for my husband's oxtail soup, we both wished that it had some more salt or umami flavor because it was a little bland. Other than that, the food was still really good and we look forward to coming back, especially during the cold season. The restaurant is smaller than expected but it is very clean and kept up. We had a male server who was very attentive and polite.

Dishes are $15-$20 compared to $20-$30 at most other korean places in town and the banchan is really good. Like really good. The kimchi is saucey, spicy and a little sweet. I can't confirm it's made in house but considering how yummy it is and that they used to sell their own kimchi when they still had the market I will assume it is. They've been around foreverr and I respect the pricing and Im rooting for them But with that said... I ordered the bibimbap and the flavor was good but the rice was soggy, creating a terrible texture that didnt crisp at the bottom of the bowl despite it coming out sizzling. I couldn't finish the rice. I don't believe this is a regular issue so I won't hold it against them. This is where it will turn into a bit of a blog post. If you haven't been here then this part will offer no value. It feels like as time goes on I am more and more disappointed. Like, 15+ years ago they were a market-restaurant hybrid. Eventually they eliminated the market and were just a restaurant. Bummer. Previous to this last visit, they had a self-serve banchan station. So good. So many options. SSS best in town and the reason I came back. They've swapped it out for a self serve malatang. I'm devastated! So, now it's one serving of three banchan and one of them is literally salted peanuts. That and the soggy rice really ruined the experience but I don't want my review to be clouded because I miss the good times. They're doing what they need to do and I highly value the commitment to reasonable pricing without letting the quality of the food completely deteriorate.

The resturant is owned by two of the sweetest couples, and you can genuinely feel the warmth and care the moment you walk in. The pop is the chef and the ma is the waitress. The wait time could be a bit longer than other places. Even though the shop is small and not always crowded, the food speaks for itself! It's absolutely amazing! SIDE DISHES :: They serve a selected menu of authentic Korean dishes, and every single seasoning feels perfectly balanced. You can tell everything is made with care and experience. Even the side dishes stood out to me. The fermentation and seasoning are on point! Fresh, flavorful, and not overly vinegary or sour like store bought one. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and comforting. The side dishes comes with fermented kimchi, fermented bean sprout, fish cakes, and sweet fermented potatoes. All of their side dishes are really good! RATE : 5/5 SHRIMP FRIED RICE ($15.99) :: This plate is so simple yet so comforting too. It's not blasted full of flavors but it's perfectly and lightly seasoned. I can taste the light MSG seasoning on this dish. I love it how this plate is not supper oily like any other chinese fried rice. Besides that, there's nothing something special on this dish. If you have young kids and need a quick fix, this plate is not bad. It's not that fatty or oily. RATE : 5/5 SPICY RICE CAKE ($11.99) :: You have to ge this dish! I love their sauce! It's perfectly seasoned! Sweet, salty and spicy. The sauce is thick like they puree pears in it. I'm not sure what is made out of but the text feels like puree pears/apples/potato. The rice cake are perfect cooked! It's soft amd chewy. Very spongy. It goes so well with the sauce. On a note though, the spice level creeps up and could be a bit too spicy. RATE : 5/5 BLACK BEAN SAUCE NOODLE ($13.99) : I originally was looking for Paiks Black Bean Noodles but they closed it down. Im glad that this location have it. The sauce is amazing but i think the noodles are a bit too wet. They couldn't grip onto the noodle much. The whole experience on this dish is a bit disappointing because there not enough sauce and the noodle couldn't grip the sauce so the noodle taste like wet starchy sweet noodles. Besides that, i love the black bean sauce! RATE : 4/5 INTERIOR :: Is a bit out dated with plenty of seatings. Chairs are clean. Tables are well kept but still sticky and smells musty old towels. The bathroom location is located back in the hallway. It's a bit dark and creepy. They do have a few claw machine for activities. RATE : 2/5 SERVICE :: What a sweet couple but be aware that they might miss you. My group and i walked in and seated our self. There's no greeting. We have to flagged someone out from the kitchen. Samething when paying too. That's the difficult part. Their service is horrible but these two couples are really sweet. RATE : 2/5 OVERALL :: There's something really special about finding a quiet little spot like this. It may not be the busiest restaurant in town, but the quality, authenticity, and heart behind the food make it such a memorable place to visit. Definetly one of those hidden gems worth supporting!

What I mean is that there is something about the Korean food made here that just tastes a bit different than what you'd otherwise get or expect from a more traditional and authentic Korean restaurant. That said, Korea Mart seemed to start off as a Korean mini market, with a small focus on prepared meals. That may have gained some popularity and the owner decided to shift their focus more towards the prepared food and less on the mini mart. The problem is that the prepared food, while focuses on traditional dishes, just doesn't taste traditional. There is something off about the dishes. For example, the Jajamyun's vegetables were very off. It lacked zucchini and the cabbage wasn't enough. The kicker is that the onions weren't even diced. The onions were in big chunks-which actually works sometimes, but made the dish feel lazily and hastily put together. Then, the tubboki was too saucy. Flavor wasn't too bad, but was too saucy. Finally, they refuse to give you an itemized receipt until you finalize payment with a tip? They charge $2 for rice when they don't advertise it anywhere and they ask how many you want without telling you, and rice isn't an extra charge in most Korean restaurants. Just overall pretty disappointed. But then again, Korean restaurant in Fresno was probably a "my bad" decision. Oh well. As for ambiance. It felt like you were eating in the back of a mini mart. Super dark from the outside gave it a weird vibe.

You can pick between 1 and 4 different broths per pot. Each table has one cooking stove top, with the larger tables having two. The broths range from vegetarian to mild, to spicy to meat based. Everything is a la carte with the exception of some premade combinations bundling a variety of like items. There's various meat and veggie combos as well as a seafood combo. I always order the veggie combo which comes with a lot that's easily shareable between 4 people. It comes with various greens, mushrooms, cabbage, corn on the cob, cauliflower, and carrots. I don't eat red meat so I stick to their sliced chicken breast or the shrimp balls. My other favorite is the bean curd sticks which is a good meatless protein option. As for broths my two favorite are the Chinese Healthy Herb and the kimchi. I also like their salted crispy chicken appetizer (popcorn chicken). Steamed rice is also a must for me. They have a dipping sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauce to accompany your hot pot. With the exception of the broth adding flavor, the meats and all the ingredients you add to your hot pot are unseasoned. It includes everything from soy sauce and fish sauce to garlic, fresh chilis, vinegar, and crushed peanuts. Whether you like to keep it simple, mild, or spicy there's a sauce you can create. The ambiance is pretty nice. It used to be a Chinese restaurant years ago and they did keep some of the things the same. They have 3 different TVs inside. The two larger ones on the walls each play a different Kdrama and the one above the register plays Kpop music videos. They do have one larger table that I think accommodates somewhere between 10-12 people (don't quote me on that) and another that can fit 6 or 7 people. Majority of the tables sit 4 and a couple sit 2. Depending what day and time you go, it can get pretty busy and you might have to wait a while. The staff is always friendly and helpful. At the end of the meal they give you orange slices and hard guava candy. Their orange slices are always so good too and a good palette cleanser at the end.
