The staff was very helpful and friendly! Very positive vibes! ... Easy parking! Omg i've had korean corn dogs but I think this is the VERY best so far! Had the crushed hot cheetos and also the potato half n half cheese. Both crispy, fresh, and everything was equally balanced! The can containers are so cute and adorable. My milk tea boba was perfect! Ordered also brown sugar tea w/boba also very good! Chewy boba and fresh! The mochinut is really crunchy/crispy on the outside the inside is super fluffy and soft.. not soggy and melts in your mouth!!! I'm so happy right now! 10 outta 10!

I guess I'm just a sucker for cute pink boxes and feeling like I'm cool. I'd driven by Mochinut many times and seen lines of folks waiting for their mochinuts, so I decided to give it a shot and got in line myself. While waiting to order, I looked up "mochinut" online and found out they're basically donuts made with rice flour. Originating in Hawaii, they're a combo of the "mochi" treats you might have tried at Trader Joe's and doughnuts. The minimum order is three mochinuts, served up in a cute pink box. You select your flavors from the day's list. I went with churro, ube and s'mores. Drinks are also offered, but no hot coffee (knock off one star right there.....donuts/mochinuts without coffee? That's like a hamburger without a bun.) I ordered Thai Milk with boba. The minute I took a sip of the Thai Milk, I knew I was in trouble. The flavor was simply off, like no Thai Milk I'd ever had before. Plus, it seemed like there was about 1/4 cup of sugar in that one drink. I couldn't finish it due to fear of a diabetic coma. Now to the mochinuts. The churro flavor was passable; it's hard to go wrong with cinnamon and sugar. The s'mores was next best, coated with a thick layer of chocolate frosting and a nice soft marshmallow. The ube mochinut was pretty much inedible; the frosting had a weird chemical taste and I felt like I was eating congealed paint. One bite and I was done. Now, to the price. $16 for the above order. That's just mochi-nuts. Stick with the mochis from TJ's and go to Foster's for your donut fix. Two stars because I feel bad for the franchise owners (otherwise it would be one star, tbh.) Ample free street parking.

I had been to the Las Vegas location, so when I was driving around La Crescenta, I decided to turn the car around and come to this place. I liked that they made everything when ordered, so it was fresh. The mochi donuts taste the best when fresh! I tried the half cheese, half hot dog-covered with flaming hot Cheetos. They asked if I wanted sugar on top. At first that sounded odd, but I said, "why not" and I'm glad I did. It was good! Not as hot as eating the Cheetos by itself, but definitely has that kick. The sugar made it taste like a donut! I enjoyed it! Private parking lot in back, but it's tight and not too many spaces available.

Great drinks love their coffee boba here they make it perfect every time. Also their brown sugar drink. Their sausage rice cake skewer (Sotteok) are a tasty snack. Owners are super nice and service with the young boys working there have been friendly and exceptional customer service. This location is one of the better Mochinuts.

I've only been to this location once. I've been to other Mochinuts in the past and have had lovely experiences. The service was great, but I think the donuts here that I got didn't maintain their springy freshness like other locations I've been too. Honestly.... It might have just been a fluke and it won't discourage me from coming back in the future if I want this type of donut. The donuts at Mochinut are pretttttty pricey but they're cute . There's free parking on the street. I believe there's also a lot behind but I haven't had need to use the back lot. I hear good things about be corn dog. I'll def have to come back and re-review in the future after trying their drinks and corn dog!

Solid 3.5 stars. I come from a family of donut lovers. I know places like this could never live up to Mister Donut (original mochi donut from Asia - Taiwan, Japan, etc) - BUT - I was pleasantly surprised. The texture of the donuts themselves were nice and springy and I did enjoy the flavors of some of them. I bought a box of 6: original, mango, black sesame, strawberry funnel, churro and s'mores. My favorites were strawberry funnel and mango. It would have been nice to have more dried strawberry pieces on the funnel donut because it gives it such a fun texture. Mango flavor on the mango donut was on point and I'm so glad I got this one because I was so sure going in that I wouldn't order this one! However, the others were lacking in flavor, texture and/or appearance. When I think of black sesame, I think of already ground up grey paste in the glaze with tiny black specks, which is a pretty standard in Asian desserts. This would have been more premium looking than what they currently offer. Unfortunately their version is with hand frosted white chocolate and sesames sprinkled on top like an everything bagel...it just seems lazy? Or uninventive? Don't get this one. The churro is too simple with just cinnamon sugar on top. There needs to be a crunch element to give it that churro like texture. Could be better. My s'mores donut's marshmallow was not toasted like in the display. The display also looked like it was burned wrong? They could have really amped up the appearance with a nice golden brown edged marshmallow instead of a plain white that I got. Overall, the base donut is wonderful but some of the flavor, texture and topping execution really miss the mark for me. Street parking available, easy to find and looks like they may have their own lot behind the shop.

If you've been to a mochinut location, you know what it is. If not... it's close to the Krispy Kreme texture - warm, fluffy, airy, not too dense. But also rich with flavor and they're all delicious. I can't recommend a flavor because they're all good - it just depends on what you're in the mood for. FYI - their flavors rotate, so they have 6 flavors of donuts each day and it alternates every day. So not everything you see on their website will be available every day. Their savory items are pretty great too (their hot dog / corn dog items). They coat the breading in some crunchy rice and it works. The reason for the 4 start is that it just takes way too long to get your order. If time is an issue and I want to pick up a dozen donuts on my way somewhere, I'd have to go to another donut shop. Also, the hours aren't great (11am-7pm mo-sat). Other than that - food, quality, and staff are great.

I love the fact that you get to drive up to this donut shop grab what you need and take off.... The donuts are super fresh when eaten right away . They have a light fluffy crispy texture. Also it can be broken into pieces easily for sharing in case you don't want to eat the entire donut you can eat a little bit of all the flavors. Yummy !!!! Love the service, super friendly . I once got to try a drink here because they didn't want it to go to waste for free! It was super delicious. I recommend the UBE with boba.

The donuts were okay. I've had so much better in terms of them being bouncy in texture. These donuts at mochinut are not as bouncy as I would prefer. They also are not as flavorful as ones I've had in the past at other mochi doughnuts locations. The flavors are varied and fun though. I also would prefer them to be sweeter. Please note that I have a sweet tooth so for those who prefer less sweet treats this is a good option. For those who prefer super sweet treats you may find the donuts not sweet enough for you.

When I heard Mochinut was going to be built in La Crescenta, I was stoked that we wouldn't have to drive to Arcadia or Glassel Park to get our Mochinut fix. It's in a great location and street parking is pretty easy if you don't want to park in the lot behind them. After visiting a couple times, their hot dogs and donuts are deliciously made like the other locations, so no complaints there. However, the boba can definitely use some work. The brown sugar boba drink that I got looks nothing like the poster with the syrup dripping down the sides of the plastic can. There was basically boba, a teeny tiny bit of syrup and milk - which I could've done at home and saved myself 6 bucks. It basically tasted like.... milk, with a small hint of boba. Look, I really want this location to succeed, but please make the boba drinks properly with the right amount of sweetness and flavor.

I can only speak about the original mochi dog, which was light and crunchy/crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For about a little over $5, it's a nice snack. Since they make it on the spot, you do have to wait 5 minutes but it's worth the freshness. I'll try their mochinuts next time.

I really like these ricedogs with potatoes and try them everywhere I see them. So far the ones from here have been my favorite. They're not so fast but it's because they make everything fresh and it's amazing. They're so clean and make the ricedogs and mochinuts so delicately. They never smell like bad oil or feel too greasy. They also usea better tasting sausage than other places I've tried this at. Love love love it. I will always grab one each time I drive by. read more

YUMMY! I had their original and honeydew mochinut and I was simply blown away. They changed their menu so that you can order single donuts. It also seems like their flavors circulate every week. You can call in ahead of time and place a pick-up order. The phone number on Yelp is incorrect though. read more

A great addition to the neighborhood! Tried their donuts and loved the taste and texture. Very light, not too doughy, and its just sweet enough where you don't feel super sick or fat after eating like two or three (not sure if thats a good thing lol). I'm not sure if they have fixed flavors or if they rotate flavors, but when I went they had six or seven options written out near the order window. But honestly, I think they all taste great so I wouldn't get fixated over what flavors to get. Try them all! read more

They finally opened!! I waited for a year for this place to open. Lacrescenta needed good franchise chain like this to open . I tried all the flavor and every single one was delicious and looked perfect. Im surprised since they just recently opened I wasn't expecting the quality would be this good. Also TRY the milk tea boba its better than anywhere around this neighborhood. Doesn't taste home made like most boba stores out here. I wasn't expecting the drinks to be this good too. Just came here with my girl friend for some coffee and a snack. I got the ORIGINAL mochi dog and donut and a chocolate funnel Thai tea and matcha everything was so delicious I couldn't even take a pic I ate it so quick. I happened to drive by and saw they had reopened. (Actually I don't know the history, but I know they've been closed for a couple years.) A couple days later, I got in a short queue just before opening time. Takes a while to fill your order. Especially the corn dogs. But the consensus at home was clear. Those are tasty donuts! So far, I've been back three times. And the wait time has gotten a little faster each time. I'll give 5 stars when things are really efficient. read more

Andrus the cashier was super nice about me being a newbie. I tried buying one but he said they only sell them in 3's or 6's so I bought 3 different flavors (strawberry funnel, original, and churro) and they all tasted delicious! My husband fell in love with all of them. The texture is spongy and it was warm. Not too sweet like other donuts. Great place. Will come again. read more

It's my second time coming to this location and their food quality is consistent, it's fresh, drinks are great and food is light it's not something that'll make you feel gross after eating. I must say it's addicting but their prices are a little up there if you are trying to get a donut, a drink,and a Korean corn dog. I would say though it's worth the money and there is a small wait Every time I've gone so you know that the food is definitely fresh! One last thing is I love that they offer half and half for the Korean corn dog so you get a little bit of both and it's perfect for first timers! read more

Phenomenal customer service. There isn't any other way to put it. Very kind and sweet employees. They always cheer up my day. The food is also fantastic always made fresh right before your eyes. My order is milk tea with boba and a churro donut, extremely tasty I'd highly recommend it. But even for the slightest chance that you don't like it there are many other drinks and donuts to choose from so don't sweat it. Great all around however parking might be an issue as they only have a limited amount. Besides for that I'd highly recommend you give Mochinut a try. read more

So fun. I've been three times now. I've had the hot Cheeto dog the ramen and the standard dog. I like them better than traditional corn dogs. The have a solid crunch and all around better flavor. The tiger mild boba and ube are perfect and refreshing. The "soda can" packaging is cool. The mochinuts are heaven the flavors light and delicious. I'm a fan. I've also had great interaction with the people who work there. Sometimes it takes a few minutes but the dogs are made fresh. read more

Worst service ever. Ordered at 12pm a dozen donuts and 3 drinks got the drinks within 10 mins and tasted like thick pure syrup disgusting. Come back 30 mins later and my order isn't finished came back an HOUR LATER still not finished they never even started my order it is now 115 and I have to wait all over again . Shut this place down already . So many ppl post their raw corn dogs you're going to get someone sick . 57 dollars for nothing. You can't even contact the manager read more

This place! First of all it's super expensive $10 ($9 plus tax) for 3 tiny rice flour donuts, really?!? Also, any time you go there, and I mean ANY, you end up waiting and waiting, and waiting! I was expecting a long line and wait time but was pleasantly surprised. I came on Friday at 5pm. Two other people before me. I just ordered six Mochinuts.. one of each flavor. And I only waited less than 5 minutes. It's a lil on the pricey side.. 6 donuts was $18.07. I'm hoping that different days have different flavors bc the website shows so many different types. They also sell rice hotdogs and milk tea. My kids loved it! I think they were pretty delicious too! read more

I brought my boba loving daughter out for a treat yesterday and I just wish we had tried mochinut out sooner! We got a 1/2 dozen assorted, brown sugar boba and Ube boba, and 1/2 & 1/2 potato. The matcha mochinut was my favorite it even had a piece of pocky on top. My daughter loved the clear can the boba tea came in she wanted to keep it the 1/2 & 1/2 was even better than the one I had gotten in Little Tokyo last month, tho this was the first I had sugar sprinkled on top. It definitely took it up a notch! read more

Yes, there is a wait at times, but remember they are freshly made donuts, Korean hot dogs and specialty drinks, so keep that in mind, it is worth the wait. Wow. I don't say this easily, but the food here was terrible. First of all, they advertise that they have all flavors available, but only have five flavors available in reality. Also, they sell three doughnuts for the price of a dozen and it's not even good like that. As for their Korean Corndog, there was hardly any cheese in it and it was like eating fried cardboard on a stick. I had high expectations considering that every influencer posts and raves about this place. Expectations were not even met by .001%. read more

Hit and miss. Their mochinuts are sometimes good sometimes just blah! Today it was the latter, unfortunately. Not good at all!!! But for the fist time today, we tried the corn dogs and let me tell you it's a absolute NOOOO for me! First off, way too much dough, secondly too much cheese, and lastly there's like almost no sausage in that whole entire thing. You eat and eat, (in my case, I picked it apart because the dough and cheese was just too much and nasty) you finally get almost to the bottom of the stick and wam! You got a tiny, tiny piece of a sausage. lol ridiculous. So yeah, never again. Eww. read more

YUM - loved their donuts but wow their hot dog with mozzarella cheese was sooo good! I definitely went into a food coma after but it was worth it. Love having Mochinut here! Service is also very friendly - our cashier was very helpful when we were indecisive our first time coming here. Will be back! read more

I'm not a huge fan of donuts at all, but I love Mochinut. Been to multiple Mochinut locations in OC & this was the first LA location I went to - all locations were really good, but this one by far was amazinggg. The staff are really friendly & I was able to get my orders quickly even though there was a good amount of people ahead of me. I love, love all their flavors but my favs are the strawberry, churro, & original. I'd also recommend trying any of their corn dogs & make sure to get it sugar coated! So good. Idk his name but the guy in the back who made my orders was super good looking LOL. But overall, I love their customer service, cleanliness, & quickness. read more

How are you gonna charge high schoolers for a 7 dollar boba filled with ice. You would expect that a place that mainly sells boba you wouldn't have to pay 50 cents extra for the said boba. Don't get me started with their donut policy. They require you to by 3 donuts for 9 dollars. Add an extra three and you could get 1 dozen from Krispy Kreme. Please save your money from these penny pinchers and go to fosters donuts just don't the street. read more

A friend told me about this place so I went to check it out. Got a few donuts just to give it a try and I had to go back the very next day to get a dozen for my office. Everyone loved them. These donuts are a nice treat, they're fluffy and not too sweet. The staff is nice and you can tell they're working hard , especially considering that this is a relatively new business that is still being established. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out. read more

For the first time, I tried their donuts, and I must say, their mochi donuts are a refreshing alternative to regular ones. I sampled their green tea, ube, and churro flavors. While all were great, I didn't detect any ube flavor in the ube donut. Nonetheless, they have a wide variety of other flavors, so I'll definitely be back to try more. read more
