If you enjoy showing up to businesses to find that they're either closed against posted hours or "sold out of everything", then this is the place for you. Edit: Just want to add that Tampa is pretty spread out and it isn't out of the ordinary for people to drive 20+ minutes to get places. Now imagine doing that to find paper signs taped to doors of businesses telling you that you wasted gas for nothing. read more

We did get to try the hot dogs we all got half and half great size but the size of the hot dog did was not portioned to all the breading making the breading and cheese too much. It would be great if they upped the size of the hot dog to a bigger size or a sausage dog. Over all really great though! read more

I was so excited to see Tampa finally get a place with Korean corndogs and mochi donuts. But I unfortunately was let down. The donuts, which I ate one immediately tasted stale and no flavor and not the usual "gooey" like texture I like. I got 4 different flavors and after trying 2 1/2 of them i through the rest away. The corndog was not good and had a weird after taste. I was hoping they had the cheese mustard sauce or even sugar I've had before at several other places in Atlanta, but no just ketchup, honey mustard and sweet chilli sauce. The workers behind the counter was not wearing hair nets and one was even visibly sweeting and wiping her forehead with same hand she was serving. It was pretty packed in there probably because of it being new, but I really hope people don't think this is actually how these things should taste. I wanted so bad to like it, but after also sharing a piece with a friend they said the same things, I knew it wasn't just me. The set up is cute, hence the two stars, but there is very minimal seating. Unfortunately, I will not be back. Went to their soft opening super early to have a good spot in line and to ensure we got what we wanted. Everything was going super well ! Customer service was spectacular. The donuts were amazing the texture was delicious! The problem the occurred was.. we were order number 9 we went through the line by 12:45. Everyone else who ordered corn dogs before us had already received their corn dogs and were gone. After a good 30-40 minutes pass I hear my order number called just to ask me if I received it yet and of course I haven't. So I had to wait another 30 minutes and I went to go check myself since the girls who were just sitting with us said they were order number 28 and they received all their stuff. So when going to check they said they were packaging my order but I saw 2 plain corn dogs and 3 potato's when she handed it to me I told her it wasn't the right order since we had the Cheeto dogs and i didn't see them in the box. I showed her my receipt and she fixed it no problem . But then we went home excited to finally eat our food after waiting there for a whole hour and 30 minutes...and the potato corn dogs were the wrong ones we ordered all cheese and received just the hot dog. Very disappointed having my order be forgotten then be completely wrong even with showing up extra early. The taste was amazing though and I know they're trying and have potential! So I went on their opening date and I got myself some donuts and hotdog. I'm not a fan of the donut and I'm not sure if it's because they were overwhelmed and it was over cooked or if I waited to long to eat them. I would like to say I am a fan of the hot dog. Donuts were fresh, all 4 that we've tried were great flavors. The corn dog was so so good! And so was bubble tea.

The donuts are consistent with what you should expect from this franchise. My wife's brown sugar tea was full sugar -1 star. My Tai milk tea was spot on after one of the girls corrected them as to what light ice meant. The 4 hot dogs we waited 25 minutes for all had an incomplete cook in the breading, -1 star Over all a hit or miss experience. We live in Lakeland and as much as I hate Orlando traffic I would make the drive before playing the odds here. read more

My favorite was the Korean hotdogs. They were very crispy and still warm after a thirty minute drive home. The mochi donuts are much chewier than regular donuts. You get the donuts immediately but the hotdogs are made to order. Although some people complained about the time, it is very quick when there is a normal amount of people (aka not a line around the block). The inside is a little small but there is a nice amount of seating. The vibe inside is very nice as well. read more

I was really looking forward to this place, let me start with saying service is great and super fast. You have to wait a little for the food to be prepared but time was good. Now onto the food, it was nothing like I expected, even though they say it's made to order it tasted oily and not fresh. It is a really nice place very well decorated small tables that are not always clean, but the worst is the smell they definitely need better hoods, the frying smell sticks to your clothing and it's just nauseating. Food was good all items were a delicious experience. The donuts aren't warm which was fine by me. Customer service was nice friendly fast and clean. Minimalist concept with seating and decor. I'm personally not a fan of cheese but wanted to experience the food. If you love mozz sticks you will love this place ! The breading is good also. If you're not a big fan of cheese just enjoy the experience and pull out the cheese as you eat it. read more

I've been here 3 times since they opened. The donuts are great, and I loved my rice dog with potato. I would give 5 stars, but the waiting is a bit insane. after waiting in line for 25 minutes right when the store opened for the day, I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my rice dog once I was able to order. I think management has some work to do with planning out when to order supplies and how much to order, but the staff is so friendly and always upbeat. read more

this was my first time trying this place and type of food in general and i have to say it was pretty good considering i have nothing to compare it to! i was scared about the dogs but they were super filling and the half/half was a great choice. the mochi donuts weren't my fav i think i could've just went with one tbh. if you're looking to get full i would go with one dog, one donut and a water and you're set for hours! loved it and def will be back!! read more

Really wanted to love this place! It's just not worth the $$$, and it's a hefty price tag for what you get. The Mochinuts are very thin, round donuts. It's almost $3 a Mochinut. There is a lack of toppings and drizzle amount for that price. Flavor is good- but so is a donut. The Boba tea is where I feel is completely not worth the price. I watched them make my tea- first they filled my cup with 3 scoops of ice, completely to the top! Huge pet peeve! I just paid $6 for a cup of ice! Then she used a 1/4 cup measuring cup and filled the tea with it twice- so that's only 1/2 cup of tea in my drink. There was no boba. Then topped it off with milk. There was no more space for the cheese foam (which was $1 extra) so she just squirted a nickel size amount on top. Insert OMG, WTF emoji!!! That was $7 total for a very small amount tea with basically all ice and milk!!!! Oh but the cup looks like that's where my money went. There are Soooo many boba places around there that are worth it. I did not try the hot dog things yet, I felt I spent way too much already on the Mochinut and tea. Maybe that will keep them in business. Overall disappointment and sadness- really wanted to love this place. read more

Mochinut is great! There's nowhere around here with anything like it. Everytime I get a K-dog and mochi donuts in store they're great! I've come twice though when they didn't have any K-dogs :( Today I ordered on Uber Eats and it didn't taste as good as usual/ when I get it in store. My partner and I arrived here around 2pm and they were already sold out, which is very disappointing and inconvenient given that we drove 30 mins to get there and wasting gas. All I can advise everyone is try to call them before making the drive. Also want to add that if they're running out of products, they should send someone out to buy more products. The employees were a bit rude and the whole place smelled like old grease (think Winn Dixie). We got 6 of the Korean hot dogs and 6 of the Mochi Donuts. The Hot dogs were ok, the cheese inside wasn't super melty and they were very greasy. The donuts were disgusting. They were soggy and tasted of old oil. This place could be really amazing if the cleaning practices were changed up! The lobby was dirty and the trash can inside was overflowing. There were crumbs on every table and trash all over the floor. I was very disappointed during my visit but I do plan to go back sometime in the future. Plan ahead! If you get there early you shouldn't have a problem. It gets super busy and it's very common for the corn dogs to be sold out. I thought the service was amazing - friendly, helpful, and provided information about the tea options. The corn dogs were great and lots of choices. Enjoy ! read more

I have no idea why this place gets anything above one star. The mochi donuts are barely chewy and lack flavor and terribly overpriced. One is $3.50 and we were talked into buying 3 as the price then "drops" to $3. The donuts have no flavor even though we got ube oreo, caramel churro and can't even remember the flavor of the last one as it was absolutely tasteless. The donuts are pretty to look at but that's about it. The milk tea we got was also overpriced at $6.50 each without any boba. I'm from California where boba places and mochi donuts are plentiful so I know how they should taste and the prices for both the donuts and milk tea are more than what I would pay in San Francisco. I get that they charge these prices as there are far and few places like these in Tampa but you'll feel the sticker shock when you taste subpar donuts and drinks. Can't imagine this place lasting much longer as their interior also lacks any decoration or care in providing a nice atmosphere for customers to eat in. read more

Went to the grand opening around noon and waited in the line for around an hour. Unfortunately, they only had two flavors available by the time in the store. But all of the staff were very friendly and they communicated all of the issues they were having. People were definitely food-greedy by buying multiple dozen boxes ahead of us. The two mochinut I got to eat were AMAZING. I'm super excited to go back when the crowd/ craze dies down a little to taste the other flavors and grab a Korean corn dog. read more

Their Korean hot dogs and their donuts are delicious, but their boba and their attitudes are gross. We got their coffee boba and all we received was milk. The coffee was nonexistent. When we tried to get a refund for getting a drink that was not what we asked for, because we asked for their coffee not plain milk, they said they couldn't offer refunds on a drink "we didn't like", as if the problem was that I didn't like it instead of it literally just being a cup of milk. They offered to get me a separate cup with more coffee. However, even then they just took my cup instead and put in a drizzle more coffee instead of giving me the extra cup as they said they would. Still tasted like milk. Told them again and asked specifically for that extra cup of coffee they had originally promised because it tasted like milk. Employee then proceeded to shift the blame on me saying I should have asked for extra coffee at the register. Absolutely not going to take the blame for wanting my coffee boba to taste like coffee. For that price, I can go to Publix and get two gallons of plain milk and it would have tasted the same. I get boba literally all the time and this is the first time I've received a cup of milk instead of boba. I'm thankful that more places are opening up in Tampa to compete and offer similar donuts and Korean hot dogs with better quality and service and employees that aren't going around blaming customers for their terrible boba drinks. read more

I was excited to try this new spot however my excitement was short lived. I ordered around 11:30a , received my donuts and 2 boba drinks was just awaiting 2 Cheeto corn dogs and 1 potato ... I accidentally threw out my receipt so I immediately approached the counter and told 2 employees . Both said it was ok. Well my order for my corn dogs was never called, no big deal, right? Wrong...... I was questioned and asked by 2 separate staff members why I didn't have my receipt. I explained again I threw it out by mistake while waiting however I had notified 2 employees the second it happened .... I pointed at the 2 employees that I had told. Now again a girl comes from the back asking for my receipt . Long story short I was basically treated as if I was trying to steal or get something for free when I had been sitting there for over 40 min no food. I hope you all have cameras so you can review and see that I never received my food and that I truthfully did throw my receipt away. It was insulting . When I finally received my food the girl had an attitude and said next time they won't give me my food. Listen I understand it was my fault for trashing the receipt however It had gotten all wet from my boba tea & I was right in sight they all observed I didn't get my food .I have never been treated so poorly. Despite the food being good I won't be back to give them business . Not worth it with the poor treatment. Once more please review your cameras and you'll see.
