First if you have never eaten a Mod Pizza they are great and you can get unlimited toppings that are so good. For us they always have great service no matter the time or day. I have never had delivery, so I can't address that, but I do pick-up and it is always ready. I ordered 11 pizzas for a special occasion all with different toppings and wanted them at 12:45 (lunch time). I got there about 10 minutes early and they were doing the last of our pizzas. The pizzas were all done at exactly 12:45 and everybody had the toppings they asked for. I thought that was amazing. All the pizzas were hot. Great service and food! read more

Oh no worries on the pepperoni, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything there. I go through all our complaints and take them pretty seriously, and do my best to make sure that things are addressed and corrected for the future. As for the mini, they tend to press a little more difficult than the mods so tend to come out slightly wonky, and with bumpy edges like that. I will say the sauce should have been brought out closer to the edge in a few places there. We aim for a thumbnail worth of crust all the way around, and it is evident from the photo that that is larger than it should be in some places. As for the cut, though I wasn't at the store last night I do know we were training on expo, and that is the reason the cut is not the best. It's a tough position to train as we need the person there to be nailing things to provide you guys with a satisfactory product, and when training that is not always the case. Also, our mini doughs are less than half the amount of dough as a mod, but pressed to just over half the size. This results in the mini crust being a bit thinner than a mod, and it crisps up much more and is more cracker like than our normal pizzas. Personally I never get a mini as I feel the crust and dough tastes severally different than the mod size pizza. For the mega, it is two of our mods pressed together to give it that thick crust. Because of this, our megas bubble much much more than our standard mod does. Bubbles are not a bad thing, the steam that is created within the bubbles helps the pizzas cook, but it can also create problems where it moves toppings and cheese if not popped quickly enough. We were also training an oven cook last night as it was a slower night and after talking to one of my managers who was on shift they did express that the trainee was struggling a bit to get bubbles popped before they got too big, which is likely what happened there judging by the photo. As for the toppings, that's kind of a subjective area, as the more toppings that are on a pizza the less we put on of each so that we can create a standardized product, and not be serving these four inch thick pizzas that are more like a casserole. We have a company meeting next to discuss changes to portion sizes, and that will likely alleviate the issue you had there. But you can always request extra of a topping in the future if you feel you aren't getting an enough. We have just cracked down as a store on over portioning so that our food costs can fall more in line with where they should be. Speaking of extra toppings, I had saw on the mega you ordered extra sauce as well as had a comment about the sauce. I can't tell from the photo whether or not you received the extra sauce on the pizza, but I can tell you some things about it that the owners don't want me to. Our pizzas do not sit or travel well, you have about a 15min window to eat the pizza before it kinda becomes a completely different product. It is one of the reasons we fought against delivery for so long, and it wasn't until COVID that we started doing it just to keep the business afloat. If I remember correctly you had ordered delivery? If wrong I apologize. But I have no idea how long that driver took to show up and grab your order, and then drive it to you. The megas when sitting will really absorb the sauce because of the extra dough, and that may explain what happened with yours, though I'm just taking a guess under the assumption that we did make it with extra sauce. I believe the last point you made was that it tasted awful. I can't speak to this, as it's purely your opinion. We try our best to create a standardized product that looks and tastes good, but we have very little control over the taste aspect so my focus is almost purely on making sure we create a presentable product. The staff did seem more interested in talking to each other about video games instead of acknowledging us for at least our orders. Would been nice if Manbun Man at LEAST included us in that topic if he was going continue that conversation as he served us. Took a team of teenage girls to dinner after basketball season ended yesterday. As typical teenage girls are they ate, laughed and giggled. The workers decided that they were too loud and asked them to tone it down or leave. Now this is Mod pizza folks. So so food, atmosphere and expensive just like all places nowadays. After less than an hour being there they asked us to leave due to being noisy. These were teenagers having a good time together after a challenging season. 1.) We were served severely black moldy produce within our salads (see photo). The food that was moldy was a new item offering (Kale & Broccoli Power Blend) on their menu. 2.) This is the second time the Mod Pizza kitchen has served us rotten food. The previous time we received salads with brown rancid cucumbers. So tonight was their second chance blown. I can no longer trust this kitchen to inspect and rotate their food properly. 3.) The manager that I spoke to in order to report this issue mishandled the entire situation, on so many levels, mainly noteable that there was no utterance of anything remotely resembling and apology. In fact, he acted like I was an annoyance entirely. *It's notable here that the other manager I spoke to regarding the prior rotten cucumber issue was extremely nice and very apologetic. Me and my friends got kicked out of this establishment at 8:15 pm, a while before their closing time. Apparently we were too loud (we were with at least 7 other adults in our party, and none of them think that we made too much noise.) and made other customers leave, however I watched and the only people who left were some of my friend's parents. The only other people in the store at the time left shortly AFTER we were removed, so it's fairly obvious to see we were kicked out so the workers could close early. This is overall horrible service, not to mention we (all together) spent hundreds of dollars and tipped very well, only to be asked to leave by some underpaid collage student. Highly disrespectful, as I would like to add some of my friends clearly did not have rides, and at the time it was below 5 degrees, and snowing. I would not recommend this "restaurant" to anyone, let alone anyone looking to have fun with their friends. read more

Not gonna lie, I avoided this place just because it looked like fast food pizza and yes, it's FAST, and it's also freakin tasty! Plus, they have CANNED WINE and a selection of BEER! You would not know this from their website (owner, please fix). I went because Blake's Taphouse closed early without putting that anywhere on Google, Facebook, Yelp, their website, or basically anywhere that a human would know until they walk up and see that the place is dark so I gave them the finger and ended up at MOD. My point is, I was not disappointed (and I was looking forward to an overpriced artisan pizza at Blake's hhahahahaha). Avoid at all costs. Pizza maker was rude, squeezed liquid out of artichokes onto the pizza he was making for us. His ingredients were spilled all over cross contaminating other ingredients. Pizza obviously turned out soggy and gross. Just save your money and don't bother. There is a good chance you could get food poisening from the ingredients spilled on the counter and mixed into other ingredients. Several bins were almost empty of ingredients, too. Nobody was ahead of us, not like he didn't have time to clean hos workspace or refill bins of toppings. read more

More than just a little disappointed recently. Things were going so well for so long!! Hot, well made pizzas! Never cheap but what a steal when you can pile on as many toppings as you like! And they were adding those toppings generously, I tell you. Things were good. The last two visits though? Two thumbs down. I was hoping the last visit was an anomaly, an exception. Unevenly cooked. Very little cheese, topping distribution was wonky. Some slices had an okay amount of toppings, others had almost none. Honestly tonight was the same but with the added frustration of online ordering that wouldn't work. The time I chose is no longer valid? Great! Let me pick another! Nope. Error message after error message. Start over? Nope. So I called the number. They actually had this cool "Start with your last order?" process. Well sure. But that's hard because it lists all 14 toppings pretty quickly and it's hard to know exactly what they got vs not. (Turns out it was a lot of not - I've never, not once ordered a pizza without mozzarella and yet, here we are). The sausage was in a pile in the middle of the pizza. There were a total of 5 pepperonis. Did I already say it was missing cheese? I did, didn't I. I don't mind a streamlined AI process but this was lots of A, lacking I. Anyway, I'm feeling $47 worth of disappointed. This wasn't the cheesy, pepperoni-rich experience I was hoping for. The pizza was hot. Their curbside delivery is always top notch. Otherwise? This place is an absolute joke we literally live down the street have tried to order it online from this place they tell us that our address is not within range then we called to place a delivery order and they tell us that our area is a high demand area which is literally 150 yards from our house. They were undercooked and the cheese fell off when we tried to take a bite!!!!! And they pronounced my name wrong and laughed at my friends name it was unbearable to watch my friend eat his pizza with all the cheese fell off the crust. Stumbled across this place by accident and decided to give it a try. I was absolutely shocked how fresh and tasty their salads were since it was technically listed as a pizza joint. You can modify the salads but I had an unaltered Greek Salad and my son had an unaltered Caesar Salad and both were amazing in taste and ingredients and size! We complimented that with their (slightly modified) Margherita pizza (thin crust) while hubby and son #2 chose a heavier crust and a meaty, more traditional, Hawaiian type Pizza. (You can throw whatever you want on the pizzas - no extra charge - and they have tons of fresh ingredients). The pizzas were excellent. We ate indoors and the wait time was VERY minimal with VERY adequate spacing in the seating. (Have spent more time in drive throughs!) Only negatives were: hubby & son thought the water tasted yucky/off(?), the table we ate at could have been wiped/cleaned better, and we discovered a place to put your dishes (presumably to be washed) but the bin provided was small and very full and there wasn't clear instruction about what to do with those plates/bowls as they were not disposable. (Hopefully someone will note these comments and work to improve that). - Five stars though because we are totally craving more salad and pizza from this place. read more

New management ruined our go to pizza place. My wife has celiac disease so has to eat gluten-free to avoid food poisoning like systems. Despite having gluten-free crust they cook it on the same oven space as the other pizza causing cross contamination. Solution? They cook it on the metal trays they make it on. They used to do this for us and we ate here weekly. New management won't let them cook it this way so they are no longer gluten-free friendly... went tonight I even waited to make sure there was no one else in line and they had already started on all of their online orders to make sure I wasn't holding them up with it but I guess even that isn't enough for the new management. read more

We had some friends and family celebrate a birthday for my husband this week. Peter, the General manager did a wonderful job taking care of us. We had a private table in the back area for eight people. They have a counter buffet line where you select specific pizza crust in any of the large variety of toppings as you want. They have gluten-free and dairy free options as well. They also have a great salad bar option if your guests don't eat pizza. My friends thought the salad there was fantastic too. Each one of our guests ordered his own personal pizza and drinks and Peter even provided each of us with a complementary small chocolate cake for dessert. The pizzas were terrific, our friends were impressed at the variety of fresh toppings , friendly service, speedy delivery and clean Covid distancing. I have ordered pizzas from this MOD location at least a dozen times, if not more. I have always been happy with my pizza and I always get pretty much the same thing. I was there yesterday, 2/23/23 at about 4:30pm. It was about 4 degrees outside so there weren't many people inside and the only one in line was me. Employee #1 wrote the tag and I told her what I wanted her to make. She then handed the dough to employee #2 who just walked up and didn't hear me so he didn't really know what to do. I think she briefly told him something. He put the sauce & cheese on the dough and handed it to employee #3, who seemed to be in a big hurry to get my pizza done so she could visit with other employees. I wanted mushrooms so she grabbed some at the front of the small bin without looking. I asked for a few more and again she grabbed a handful and threw them on the pizza. The #2 guy missed the basil, so she had to take it back to him, who didn't hear me say "double the amount" so I got i few small bits. The pizza came out fast but when I got home and saw it, it wasn't very appetizing. No one took care to evenly space things out so each slice had some of the toppings. When I left, all the employees were hanging out in a little pack in the back. I felt like I was an entrusion into their "work enjoyment". It was completely unnecessary for 3 different people to make one small 11" pizza and a lot got lost in passing it down. The pizza crust had big air bubbles in it and it fell apart as I tried to eat it. There were lots of empty areas and others had toppings piled on. This isn't normal for this store but I am hesitant to go back again and I'm afraid I won't be very pleasant if/when I order again. Lastly, I wanted a salad but what they charge for salads is ridiculous. $7.95 for a tiny side salad that's mostly lettuce. I mentioned to them that their salad prices are outrageous. I'm giving 2 stars because up until yesterday they were fine. I'm wondering if there is a new manager who doesn't care based upon reading some other reviews along with my review. read more

First off, I would like to say the food here is great. They have any and all toppings you could want. But... the staff causes a bit of a concern. At our arrival, the staff was very accommodating, although they seemed to be a bit in organized and from my younger cousins perspective their was not enough sauce on their pizza. As we got a chance to sit down and start to eat their was a staff member starting to clean the counters. He was staying in a general place at the counter very close to our table. It was not worrisome at first. After a bit his pants started to droop. My cousins started to laugh a bit because we could see his undergarments. After a bit it started to seem a bit inappropriate. I kindly asked him to pull up his pant. He did but they quickly fell down and he seemed bitter about it. This man clearly need a belt. My cousins can not stop talking about how his boxers had Chihuahua's on them every time I see them. Overall, I won't go back in but I would order delivery from here anytime. read more
