So yummy and always packed! I got the margarita pizza just removed the tomatoes and added pepperoni and jalapeños. I know weird but so yummy!!! I also tried the desert but was alittle disappointed I'll definitely be back to try more, service is good and the place was very clean

Mod pizza is quite unique since customers are involved in crafting their own pie from scratch from beginning to end. Crust can be dough or even cauliflower and all toppings can be added for a preset price (not a la carte) which is nice! I came on quite a busy day and had a hick up with my order but this was understandable given that lines wrapped around the place all the way to the restrooms. My order was unfortunately lost so I'm writing this review on behalf of a buddy who graciously shared his pie with me. Pros- you choose all the ingredients and meats or veggies to your heart's content. Sauces and drizzles can be customized as well. Many exotic things to choose from including vegan sausage to anchovies if that's your thing. Cons - don't come on a busy day. If you give your name, give your full name and ask for the pizza number order in case it gets jumbled up. Overall experience of pizza: Crust - overly thin. Could use more dough or even include options like hand tossed or pan. Pizza will end up soggy if you aren't careful with toppings. Cheese - lots of options ranging from mozzarella to Asiago . Can ask maker to add more. Meats and veggies - excellent variety and you decide the portions Drizzles - lots of variety including honey, sriracha, pesto, etc I felt like there was a lot more potential and the workers put in a lot of effort to accommodate the customers, hence the 4 stars. I'll have to try again another time with a few adjustments and hopefully, my order will come out ok.

There were 3 people working, the boy was literally trying to do all the orders. The other two girls were ignoring and talking to each other. Made eye contact with them and after 5 minutes they still didn't do anything. The boy checked out the customer and the girls kept procrastinating with no sense of urgency to take care of the customer.

I love me some MOD pizza. I can't say no to unlimited toppings for a universal price. It's a simple concept. Choose your proteins choose your cheese and choose your veggies. Choose your seasoning and sauces. The pizza is ready in literally three minutes. They have gluten-free and cauliflower crust options, Which cost a fraction of the cost extra. The menu also has customize classics which a lot of customers opt for. But I be stacking up my pizzas as you can tell from the pics MOD also has a reward system where every dollar spent counts for a reward point. Collect 150 points and your next pizza is free. Pretty cool Eh?

Celebrated with a day-date with the hubs! Been two weeks since we tied the knot :) and we were greeted with beautiful sunshine and cauliflower dough pizza with the yummiest toppings. I've only tried MOD once before in my life, and it was this same location, but when they first opened...and I recall a not so great food experience. But, more recently my hubs tried their cauliflower pizza and said it was tasty, so I decided to give them a second chance! To my delight, the cauliflower pizza was really light, crunchy and tasty. Perfectly baked in their oven with the outer layer slightly burnt and crispy, and evenly distributed toppings...I appreciated that they had chorizo as a topping. It made the overall meal a bit on the heavier side, but nonetheless delicious. Today was perfect patio weather day, so we took full advantage. I was semi disappointed with customer service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I saw staff behind the pizza counter making line just standing around. They look relaxed and disorganized. Not at their proper stations, dirty patio tables outside, but restrooms were squeaky clean. It was after the lunch rush, so I don't know why tables weren't cleaned. Also, I ordered a bottled coke that required the cap to be taken off, but I had to get up and go back to the register area to ask for them to pop the cap off...then I also had to get up and ask a staff member to go clean the table for us. IMO, these little things shouldn't have to be asked by the patron. It should just be taken care of...hence the three stars. I will def come back to enjoy the cauliflower pizza again. Hopefully they will be on top of things better next time. Napkins at the tables would be a nice touch too, instead of just next to the drink station.

Had an early dinner at Mod. The place was DIRTY!!! There were literally 5 employees standing around doing NOTHING while I had to wipe my own dirty table down. There were tables with dirty dishes, tables with straw wrappers and tables with pizza crumbles and no one taking the time to wipe them down!! Oh but they are quick to ask for a 20% tip!! NO THANK YOU!!!

The pizza reheats wonderfully in my toaster oven. Oh...the crust....

This pizza and the employees here are the best! I have to thank my daughter for introducing me to MOD. You HAVE to come here if you haven't been already. If you're not familiar with MOD, you pay for the size of your pizza regardless of what or how many toppings you put on it you pay the same price (and they have a LOT to choose from)! I can now get what I really want in my pizza... and best crust ever! Not just that, but they are so fast! Whenever I am on this side of town, this is where I always go. Genuine pizza and genuine people. Try it! You won't regret it! Lots of !!!'s because I have passion for this place. I'm surprised at the negative reviews of the employees. I have never had a problem, on the contrary they have been wonderful.

Came here for their National pineapple day promotion (free pizza if you add pineapple) and they were packed at 6 pm. They were very generous with toppings despite the crowd and the staff were still very nice despite the overwhelming workload that day. Mod pizza is always great :)

So after wanting to come since they opened everything in this shopping center, I finally tried Mod Pizza out, and I'm pleased with the pizza. I love thin and crispy crusts and I love the burnt edges that come from a brick oven pizza. We ordered the Calexico or the number 8 and it was spicy, but enjoyable. My boyfriend wasn't a fan of the Gorgonzola, but it didn't bother me and I hate blue cheeses. We also ordered a deluxe salad which was very fresh and also rather enjoyable. The issues I have revolve around the cleanliness. There was an awful lot of flies inside this place for some reason. I know they can't really help this since flies are everywhere, but it was hard to ignore them buzzing around. The reason why it's not 5 stars is because I didn't really see the staff cleaning tables after someone left. They ask to pick your plates up, but I still think tables need to be cleaned with a damp cloth which I never saw anyone do. Maybe it's because it started to get pretty busy. Who knows? Is this the best pizza and salad combo in Houston? No, Luna Pizzeria is still my #1. But the bottom line is the pizza here is worth the price and I would come again and try a new pizza. read more

I've turned a corner on MOD. Either my taste has changed or they tweaked their dough, etc. This was a place we started going to more often months after my previous post on this place. It grew on me. It's quick (for pizza) and satisfies the pizza craving. read more

This pizza was ok, but the service sucked. The guy that was checking me didn't have great customer service. I asked him if he see to go order his response was I don't know and kept doing other stuff. He didn't try to locate my order. Then I had 2 pizzas he put one in the oven and failed to put my other one in the oven with it. I had wait extra 10 minutes just to get my second pizza. read more

Neat little place with tasty pizza. It looks like freebirds/subway of pizza to me with a modern (mod?) touch. Went with family for a dinner and we ordered veggie pizzas ( in fact we made our own pizzas) for the most part. The vegetables were fresh and the pizza was delicious. The garlic strips were ok. The inside had a strong smell of pizza, veggies and garlic. Hence, we made it to the patio. As it was weeknight during May, it was pleasant outside and the patio was neat. After a moving to North Houston a couple of years ago, I've struggled to find decent pizza of any variety. Mod Pizza, so far has been the only one to deliver consistently good pizza. My only complaint is that one several occasions they have messed up my order, but they quickly remedied the issue with no fuss. -update- Since I wrote this review, out of the past 6 times, they've only gotten one order 100% correct. This includes one time when I went to the restaurant and ordered in -- I'm not sure how you mess up something that told you what I wanted on it, but there you have it. The quality is great, I love the pizza, but something really needs to be done for its quality control. read more

Stopped by tonight. Food was pretty good, service was mediocre and there wasn't nearly enough tables. This place is counter service, think of it as Subway for Pizza. An expensive subway. There's barely any seating. Don't bother going here when it's raining because the only other seating is outside. People were stacked at the pickup counter waiting on tables. Also, if you go to a counter service place during peak hours and camp at a table, screw you. Saw too many people doing this tonight. read more

It's finally good to have another type of pizza on this side of town. Mod pizza is not your standard call for delivery pizza, and no it's not Digiorno. I ordered the Mod Size which was pretty feeling. The toppings were fresh and the pizza is made right in front of you. Normally when you order pizza the cook time is anywhere from 20 minutes or more but this place has it down packed. It took no longer than 15 minutes at the most. I took my mom with me who is not a fan of pizza nor had cared to have a pizza for the last 5-5 years, and even she was impressed. I highly recommend the Marion Blackberry drink, it refreshing and not overly sweet. You can either order a pizza from the wall of selections they have or build your own pizza. I opted to build my own. I will definitely come here again! Good Job Mod! read more

I've gone here many times, and I love it. It reminds me of a lot of pizza joints in California. It's nice to have one local. There are an array of options for creating the perfect pie. The food is very delicious here and most of the staff is smiling but I think that's because they are so busy all the time and they might just be stressed from that. They have a few beer selections, soft drinks and a few different types of teas. There are toppings and sauces galore here. The floor can get a little messy at times but again they are always busy and there are lots of kids and families, so I chalk it up to that. read more

I love this little pizza spot. We got two MOD pies and floats today. The ambience is really family friendly, great for groups. Our order was ready in about 20 minutes. The Pizza was really good. Our first time there, and the staff was awesome. Very helpful in assisting us on what to order. Clean facility and very clean food handling. No complaints. read more

There are a lot of pizza places nearby but this one takes the cake! I love the prices and the crust is delicious(I usually hate thin crust pizza). If you get a chance try their balsamic fig glaze, it's superb. It elevates the pizza to a whole different level. The only caution I can give is to be aware that if you overload your pizza with toppings you may not get a fully cooked pizza. This happened once but the customer service is great, they gave me a new pizza in no time. Their no name cakes are amazing too! read more

This is our family's favorite pizza restaurant, always great service, and great location. You can make your own pizza and you can ask for gluten free pizza dough as well. This location in particular is very popular and can be packed at certain times, but we've always been able to find a table and sit in our favorite area in the "private" section behind the menu. They have different sections with their stickers all over that looks very artistry and modern urban. I really recommend you give them a try. read more

Pizza is probably one of the best things in the world. This place lets you custom make it and it is amazing. There are plenty of options to put on your specially made pizza. They also have an option for a pizza salad and lately there is a thicker crust version for those who prefer more dough. I love corn and corn on pizza seems odd but they have it and I am a fan! The environment is very casual and trendy. It is a nice switch up for lunch. I've definitely been here plenty of times forgetting to check in but I am sure there'll be future visits! read more

Checked this place out last night and it was awesome!! I loved the fact that you are able to create your own pizza and watch them make your pizza in front of you. All the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor!!! I loved the fact that they uses charcoal grill making the pizza full of flavor & light! The staff is great and definitely knows what they are doing as well as what topping combos work and don't!! The service was quick and professional and the food was even better!! Can't wait to go back with the rest of our family!! read more

We absolutely love MOD but this location left much to be desired. Service is lacking.Tables were filthy, on top of there being already being limited indoor seating. Very long wait. They were out of ingredients during dinner of all times. Burnt both the pizzas, looked at us, said sorry and handed them to us without even offering to remake them. Needless to say we won't be coming back to this particular location again. Good thing Torchys is next door lol read more

So, I visit this location often maybe three or four times a month. During my visits I always receive very good customer service from Rachelle. On October 16 I've visited again with my family and during the time of building my pizza found that there was no chicken, or Sereno peppers. Rachelle after hearing that the peppers was out and the person making the pizza said we don't have anymore, she took it upon herself to go and find more. Now with this being said, she could have easily ignored the conversation, and went on about her business. However, she took the advantage to show how to give above the line customer service. Every time that I visit she always smiles and always greets and very helpful. In addition, on this visit I also identified another associate working hard and very helpful and friendly. This associate name was Chris. Chris also went out his way to clear tables for us to sit because of the busy time, and followed up and asked us how is our meal. These two individuals need to be recognized for giving outstanding customer service. Thank you Rachel and Chris for giving great customer service read more

Update: I came back after they reached out and told me they'd make things right, and they…read moreabsolutely did. It turned out to just be a Google hours error, which they corrected quickly. They still took care of me, and I finally got to try the Philly cheesesteak hot dog and the elote cup. The hot dog was honestly really good and definitely worth the trip back. I finally get to leave a review after getting my daughter to help set me up an account on this Yelp site. My husband and I love this place and for the amount of food that you get for the price you can't go wrong! This time we brought family and friends, happy that we did because our favorite girl was there. They were a little crowded but my daughter quickly grabbed us a large table that had opened up in the back room. We were a little unimpressed by the staff working, they seemed tired and began to rush us out of the way to get to the next family behind us. We were happy to finally show our friends the little spot that we have been bragging on for months but we were quickly pushed away. On the bright side our favorite girl was there today, CiCi, and boy does she know how to make you smile. My daughter always wants to know how she does her makeup so perfect . Well, CiCi began to compliment each and every one of us as she put our toppings on and the most beautiful part is that she remembered who we were! She asked how my husbands trip went this week and how my sisters chemotherapy has been going. We definitely receive the best service when she's around and that's really unfortunate.(Considering that the Spring Cypress location has gotten more welcoming). That's the only thing that ever bugs us, and being that we had others with us was kind of a let down. The young lady at the register was very nice as well she made sure that our large party was well aware where to pick up our pizzas after they were made. We will forever love this location and keep coming back for more we would just like to see more happy people! On a lighter note if any of you guys are in the Louetta and 249 area definitely stop by and give this place a shot, who doesn't like pizza right? The line wasn't long, but the service was slower than expected, especially for a fast-casual spot like this. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too crowded. MOD Pizza is great! I'm gluten free so I always get the crust they offer and it's pretty tasty. I'm pretty sure the tomato sauce they use actually has gluten in it though.
