Was craving pizza and went on Yelp to see where a good spot would be vs the standard choices (Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's). Read some great and recent reviews on MOD Pizza and decided to make the trip for a take out order. Upon entering, was greeted right away. Visited on a Wednesday around 5pm. There was 2 people ahead of me in line and 2 others just came in so not too busy. Ordered a MOD create my own pizza and a MOD Caesar's Salad. Loved how many toppings that were available and how I could add additional items to the Caesar Salad. Service was friendly and fast! When ordering, the guy had asked if i wanted cheese and when i said no and explained it was an allergy, he offered to switch his glove out which was extremely nice and hasn't happened to me before. They already rung up the soda and pizza by the time i got there which meant less work for me and there was no mess ups and they gladly offered to add more ingredients even if there was plenty. When i walked out they said have a great day and to stay safe which is really sweet and again has never happened to me before. So I ordered this yesterday while at work, and I'm glad I did! MOD pizza.... YA'LL DID GOOD! I'm a 1st time customer with MOD; but definitely will not be the last time. The pizza was super flavorful and fresh. When it comes to delivery (I used DoorDash), there is always the worry of the quality of the dish dropping, the more time it spends in transit to the customer. But not in this case, the pizza was still piping hot when I got it. I love the tomatoes and th extra meat I ordered. But the star for me was the Srirancha, that's right, Sriracha and ranch mixed together. So good! I was pretty disappointed with MOD. I think I'm going to be against the large followers of this place, but I just felt it wasn't good. I posted a few pictures. Priced pretty high for the quality and what is offered. I don't understand why my plain cheese pizza is charged the exact same as everyone else who piles meats and veggies on theirs. The dough was so thin it lacked any flavor at all. The service was great and the place is clean (they've only been open for a week so far). My family and I won't be back because we have too many other options with pizza places which are more flavorful and cheaper. Hope my review helps! read more

Found this gem through Yelp and I'm glad we tried it! It's so close from home so that's a plus! I ordered the salad pizza. It's probably the healthiest pizza I've ever had. Lol! I was nervous about what it's gonna taste especially since I added way too much greens and my seasoning is only vinegar and olive oil. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it came out! The pizzas my kids and hubby ordered were also a hit. The only thing I think they need changing is the lady screaming for guests to pick up their order. Also, they could probably use another person to bus and clean the tables and bathrooms. They very much nailed the flavor on the pizzas. It should be worth noting unlike the big boys Pizza Hut and Domino's, you receive your order fresh and piping hot. Budget-wise, your wallet can heave a sigh of relief. My pizza was in a pool of oil which made the crust gross and soggy. They usually put a paper at the bottom of the pizza, but there was so much oil that I don't think that would've helped at all. The dough also wasn't cooked all the way through. There were also toppings missing but that's not an issue because I couldn't even eat more than one slice. read more

I will start this by saying, this is partially my mistake. An order was placed online and by mistake was order at the location further from the house. So I got directions from the very nice guy at the "local" location; says it happens all the time. The other location is a bit further so it did take a few minutes to get to it. By the time I got there the order is cold. The girl behind counter barely looked up and waved her hand to the end of the counter and said it's that one. Due to my travel time, the pizza was now beyond room temperature. They had to have known how long it was there and neither kept it warm or offered to warm it back up. I love this place! Being from New York it's hard to find good pizza and this place has some good stuff! I love getting ricotta cheese on mine with basil and roasted red peppers and sausage. Delicious! I also love that they have Karbach and some cool wine selections and the mini pizzas for the kids are the perfect size. The service is great too as everyone is nice and patient especially when taking your order while you're yelling at your kids. They also have the to go boxes easily accessible so it's super fast and easy to pack up and leave. Highly recommend this spot! The crust had obvious burn spots and was so tough it was even hard to finish cutting with sharp steak knives - whoever "cut" the pizza into pieces did half the job and we had to finish it. I had to walk up and ask if they (all busy doing something else) had called my name. Then someone picked up a box and handed it to me (my burnt and tough crust pizza). I was definitely disappointed at the service I received, I eat MOD pizza all the time in Friendswood and love it. This time I stopped in the FM 646 and Gulf Frwy location and I asked for my usual pepperoni and pineapple MOD pizza with garlic butter on the crust and the girl refused to allow it on the crust. She told me she could not put garlic butter on the crust it had to go on the toppings because if she put it on the crust it would drip off into the fire. She even picked up the pizza when the butter accidentally touched a part of the crust ad drained back into the cheese of the pizza. I called two other MOD Pizza's and they stated that yes the garlic butter is supposed to go on the crust not on the toppings, after we ate I tried to explain to the girl that I had called two other MOD pizzas and they stated that the garlic butter is supposed to be on the crust not the toppings and she was very rude to me. Then the itty-bitty teeny weenie girl employee from behind jumps out and yells "OK THANK YOU VERY MUCH, YOU CAN GO NOW" !
